Abstract

This invention provides a centrifugal pump sealing structure and a centrifugal pump, including a sealing ring mounted on a pump shaft and a support ring mounted inside the pump body. The sealing ring is concentrically arranged inside the support ring. The invention is characterized by a sealing assembly disposed between the support ring and the sealing ring. The sealing assembly includes: a plugging member with horizontally symmetrical sides extending into the interior of both the support ring and the sealing ring, and vertically symmetrical sides deformed and extending into the gap between the support ring and the sealing ring; and an adjusting member disposed between the sealing ring and the plugging member, which compresses the plugging member. This invention, through its designed sealing assembly, achieves a double seal, avoiding gap problems caused by wear between the sealing ring and the pump shaft.
