Abstract

This invention provides a construction method for assembling a bridge erecting machine using a tire-mounted gantry crane, comprising the following steps: Step S1, selecting the gantry crane's work site as the assembly site, and assembling sleeper stacks according to the positions of the boom segments; Step S2, sequentially installing multiple segments of the bridge erecting machine's boom on the sleeper stacks using the gantry crane; Step S3, reliably connecting the two side load-bearing beams with bolts; then rotating the upper crossbeam to make it parallel to the boom; Step S4, connecting the rear outriggers to the boom in a horizontal position; Step S5, installing the assembled power assembly at the corresponding position on the boom; Step S6, installing the two lifting trolleys in place; Step S7, fixing the boom to the beam transport vehicle's carrier frame, detaching the gantry crane's boom and lifting hooks to install the rear outriggers' traveling wheels, and setting up the gantry crane for bridge erecting machine assembly. Assembly can be achieved at the beam yard, offering high safety. The entire assembly process can be completed using the gantry crane, reducing the rental cost of truck cranes.
