Abstract

The present invention provides a method for homogenizing a high-temperature tobacco extract, comprising the following steps: heat-treating tobacco raw material and condensing it to obtain a high-temperature extract and a semi-coke residue; pulverizing the semi-coke residue to obtain microparticles; oxidizing the microparticles to obtain modified microparticles; and mixing the high-temperature extract and the modified microparticles to obtain a homogenized high-temperature tobacco extract. The semi-coke, a byproduct obtained through the high-temperature tobacco extraction process, contains a large number of hydrophilic groups, primarily hydroxyl groups, and some nitrogen-containing hydrophobic groups on its surface. High-temperature partial oxidation of the semi-coke significantly increases the number of hydrophobic groups on the semi-coke surface, resulting in the semi-coke microparticles exhibiting amphiphilic properties in solution. Furthermore, after grinding the amphiphilic semi-coke microparticles to nanoscale size, they can be well and stably dispersed in the extract, thereby forming a stable, homogeneous liquid from the heterogeneous high-temperature tobacco extract that does not undergo phase separation even during prolonged storage.
