[0001] The present application relates to the field of battery technology, and in particular to a battery cell, a battery, and an electrical device. Background Art
[0002] In recent years, new energy vehicles have developed by leaps and bounds. In the field of electric vehicles, power batteries, as the power source of electric vehicles, play an irreplaceable and important role. With the vigorous promotion of new energy vehicles, the demand for power battery products is also increasing. As the core components of new energy vehicles, batteries have high requirements in terms of safety and service life. The battery cell of the battery is usually assembled into an electrode assembly (bare cell) by winding or laminating the positive electrode sheet, the negative electrode sheet and the diaphragm, which is then loaded into the outer shell and finally injected with the electrolyte. However, the electrode assembly of the existing battery cells is often damaged during use, which easily causes the risk of short circuit of the battery cell, and leads to poor stability in the use of the battery cell, which is not conducive to improving the safety and service life of the battery cell.
[0003] Summary of the Invention
[0004] The embodiments of the present application provide a battery cell, a battery, and an electrical device, which can effectively improve the safety and service life of the battery cell.
[0005] In a first aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a battery cell, comprising a shell, a lead-out component, an electrode assembly and an insulating bracket; the shell has a first wall; the lead-out component is connected to the first wall; the electrode assembly is accommodated in the shell, and the electrode assembly comprises a main body and a tab, the tab protruding from one end of the main body facing the first wall, and the tab is connected to the lead-out component; along the thickness direction of the first wall, the insulating bracket is arranged between the first wall and the main body, and the insulating bracket is fixedly connected to the lead-out component.
[0006] In the above technical solution, the insulating bracket is fixedly connected to the lead-out component, and the lead-out component is connected to the first wall of the shell, so that the insulating bracket can be fastened to the first wall to fix the insulating bracket in the shell. The battery cell using this structure can reduce the phenomenon of movement or displacement of the insulating bracket during the use of the battery cell, thereby reducing the risk of the insulating bracket damaging the electrode assembly due to movement, thereby improving the stability and reliability of the battery cell, and further helping to improve the safety and service life of the battery cell.
[0007] In some embodiments, the battery cell further includes an adhesive member; the adhesive member adheres the insulating bracket and the lead-out component to fix the insulating bracket and the lead-out component together.
[0008] In the above technical solution, the battery cell is also provided with an adhesive, and the insulating bracket is bonded to the lead-out component under the action of the adhesive to achieve a fixed connection between the insulating bracket and the lead-out component. The battery cell adopting this structure can, on the one hand, effectively reduce the assembly difficulty of connecting the insulating bracket to the lead-out component, so as to facilitate fixing the insulating bracket on the lead-out component, thereby effectively improving the assembly efficiency of the battery cell. On the other hand, connecting the insulating bracket and the lead-out component through the adhesive can effectively improve the connection stability and reliability between the insulating bracket and the lead-out component.
[0009] In some embodiments, a mounting hole is provided on the insulating bracket, and the mounting hole passes through the insulating bracket along the thickness direction of the first wall, and the mounting hole is used to accommodate at least a portion of the adhesive.
[0010] In the above technical solution, by providing a mounting hole for accommodating the adhesive on the insulating bracket, and the mounting hole passes through the insulating bracket along the thickness direction of the first wall, on the one hand, it is convenient to arrange the adhesive between the insulating bracket and the lead-out component through the mounting hole to achieve bonding between the insulating bracket and the lead-out component, which is beneficial to reducing the assembly difficulty and improving the assembly efficiency. On the other hand, by accommodating at least part of the adhesive in the mounting hole, the contact area between the adhesive and the insulating bracket can be effectively increased, and the accommodating capacity of the adhesive can be increased, which is beneficial to improving the stability and reliability of the insulating bracket adhering to the lead-out component, thereby reducing the risk of the insulating bracket and the lead-out component falling off during use.
[0011] In some embodiments, a limiting portion is provided on the wall surface of the mounting hole, and at least a portion of the limiting portion is embedded in the adhesive component.
[0012] In the above technical solution, a limiting portion is protruded on the wall surface of the mounting hole, and at least a part of the limiting portion is embedded in the adhesive, that is, the adhesive is covered on the outside of the limiting portion, so that the limiting portion can play a certain limiting role on the adhesive in the thickness direction of the first wall, and can further increase the contact area between the adhesive and the insulating bracket, so as to improve the bonding effect between the adhesive and the insulating bracket, and further reduce the risk of the adhesive and the insulating bracket falling off, which is beneficial to improve the connection reliability and stability between the insulating bracket and the lead-out component.
[0013] In some embodiments, the limiting portion includes a separator connected to the hole wall surface of the mounting hole, and the separator is configured to separate the mounting hole into a first hole segment and a second hole segment arranged along the thickness direction of the first wall, and the first hole segment is closer to the lead-out component than the second hole segment; wherein the separator is provided with a through hole extending along the thickness direction of the first wall, and the through hole connects the first hole segment and the second hole segment, and the first hole segment, the through hole and the second hole segment all accommodate portions of the adhesive.
[0014] In the above technical solution, the limiting portion has a separator arranged in the mounting hole and connected to the hole wall surface of the mounting hole. The separator can separate the mounting hole into a first hole segment and a second hole segment arranged along the thickness direction of the first wall, and the first hole segment and the second hole segment are connected through a through hole arranged on the separator, so that the first hole segment, the second hole segment and the through hole can all accommodate part of the adhesive, so that when the insulating bracket adopts this structure, the separator can play a certain limiting role on the adhesive when the adhesive is injected into the mounting hole, so as to keep the adhesive in the first hole segment and the second hole segment, which is conducive to alleviating the turbulence phenomenon of the adhesive before solidification, thereby helping to improve the bonding effect of the adhesive on the insulating bracket and the lead-out component.
[0015] In some embodiments, the adhesive member includes a first part, a second part, and a third part arranged in sequence and connected along the thickness direction of the first wall, the first part is located in the first hole segment and adhered to the lead-out component, the second part is located in the through hole, and the third part is located in the second hole segment; wherein, along the thickness direction of the first wall, at least part of the separator is located between the first part and the third part.
[0016] In the above technical solution, by setting the adhesive as the first part, the second part and the third part which are arranged along the thickness direction of the first wall and connected in sequence, the first part and the third part are respectively located in the first hole segment and the second hole segment, and at least part of the separator is arranged between the first part and the third part in the thickness direction of the first wall, that is, the radial dimensions of the first part and the third part are larger than the radial dimensions of the second part in the mounting hole, so that the adhesive has an "I"-shaped structure, so that the separator can play a certain limiting role on the adhesive, which is conducive to further improving the connection reliability between the adhesive and the insulating bracket, and thus can effectively improve the stability and reliability of the insulating bracket being bonded to the lead-out component through the adhesive.
[0017] In some embodiments, along the thickness direction of the first wall, the thickness of the third portion is H, satisfying 0.5 mm ≤ H ≤ 5 mm.
[0018] In the above technical solution, by setting the thickness of the third part in the thickness direction of the first wall to 0.5mm to 5mm, on the one hand, it can alleviate the phenomenon of insufficient structural strength of the third part caused by the third part being too thin, thereby helping to ensure the limiting effect of the separator on the adhesive; on the other hand, it can alleviate the phenomenon of material waste and excessive space occupation caused by the third part being too thick, which is beneficial to reducing the manufacturing cost of the battery cell and optimizing the internal space of the battery cell.
[0019] In some embodiments, along the thickness direction of the first wall, the third portion does not extend beyond an end of the second hole segment away from the separator.
[0020] In the above technical solution, the third part is set to not exceed the end of the second hole segment away from the separator in the thickness direction of the first wall, that is, the entire third part is accommodated in the second hole segment to reduce the phenomenon of the third part overflowing the second hole segment, which is conducive to alleviating the interference effect of the third part of the adhesive on other components inside the battery cell.
[0021] In some embodiments, along a thickness direction of the first wall, the first portion extends out of the first hole segment away from an end of the separator.
[0022] In the above technical solution, the first part is arranged to extend the first hole section in the thickness direction of the first wall away from one end of the separator, that is, the first part overflows the first hole section in the thickness direction of the first wall, so as to facilitate the mutual adhesion of the first part of the adhesive and the lead-out component arranged on the first wall, so as to ensure the improvement of the bonding effect between the adhesive and the lead-out component, thereby effectively improving the connection stability between the insulating bracket and the lead-out component.
[0023] In some embodiments, the limiting portion also includes a first protrusion; the first protrusion is protruding from the separator and embedded in the adhesive; wherein the first protrusion is arranged on at least one side of the separator in the thickness direction of the first wall; and / or the first protrusion is arranged on the wall surface of the through hole.
[0024] In the above technical solution, a first protrusion is provided on the separator, and the first protrusion is embedded in the adhesive, that is, the adhesive is covered on the outside of the first protrusion, so that the first protrusion can play a certain limiting role on the adhesive, so as to reduce the phenomenon of circumferential rotation of the first protrusion in the mounting hole, thereby helping to reduce the risk of mutual separation between the adhesive and the insulating bracket and the lead-out component.
[0025] In some embodiments, along the thickness direction of the first wall, the first protrusion is protruding from a side of the separator facing the first hole segment.
[0026] In the above technical solution, by arranging the first protrusion on the side of the separator facing the first hole segment, that is, the first protrusion is located in the first hole segment, the insulating bracket with this structure is convenient for manufacturing and forming the first protrusion, which is beneficial to reducing the processing difficulty of the insulating bracket and is beneficial to improving the limiting effect of the first protrusion on the adhesive.
[0027] In some embodiments, a plurality of first protrusions are provided on the separator, and the plurality of first protrusions are arranged at intervals along the circumference of the through hole.
[0028] In the above technical solution, by arranging multiple first protrusions on the separator and arranging the first protrusions at intervals along the circumference of the through hole, it is beneficial to further enhance the limiting effect of the first protrusions on the adhesive, so as to limit the circumferential rotation of the adhesive in the mounting hole, thereby helping to ensure the bonding effect of the adhesive on the insulating bracket and the lead-out component.
[0029] In some embodiments, the battery cell includes two lead-out components with opposite polarities, and both lead-out components are arranged on the first wall; wherein, two mounting holes are provided on the insulating bracket, and the mounting holes are arranged in a one-to-one correspondence with the lead-out components, and the adhesive is accommodated in both mounting holes.
[0030] In the above technical solution, the battery cell is provided with two lead-out components, and two mounting holes are correspondingly provided on the insulating bracket. Adhesives are provided in both mounting holes, so that the insulating bracket can be bonded to both lead-out components, which is beneficial to further improve the connection stability and reliability of the insulating bracket to the lead-out components, so as to reduce the phenomenon of movement or displacement of the insulating bracket during use.
[0031] In some embodiments, the lead-out component includes an electrode terminal and a current collecting component; the electrode terminal is connected to the first wall; along the thickness direction of the first wall, the current collecting component is located between the electrode terminal and the insulating support, and the current collecting component is connected to the electrode terminal and the tab; wherein the adhesive bonds the current collecting component and the insulating support.
[0032] In the above technical solution, the lead-out component is provided with interconnected electrode terminals and a current collecting member. The electrode terminals are connected to the first wall of the housing to output or input electrical energy from the battery cells. The current collecting member is disposed between the electrode terminals and the insulating bracket to facilitate connection between the current collecting member and the electrode assembly tabs, thereby achieving electrical connection between the electrode assembly and the electrode terminals. This helps to reduce the difficulty of assembling the electrode assembly and the lead-out component. Furthermore, an adhesive is provided to bond the current collecting member and the insulating bracket to securely connect the insulating bracket to the lead-out component. This structure helps to reduce the difficulty of assembling the insulating bracket by bonding it to the lead-out component through the adhesive, and also helps to increase the bonding area between the adhesive and the lead-out component, thereby enhancing the firmness of the insulating bracket's bonding to the lead-out component.
[0033] In some embodiments, the current collecting member is connected to the electrode terminal by welding to form a welding area, and the adhesive covers at least a portion of the welding area.
[0034] In the above technical solution, by setting the adhesive to cover at least a portion of the welding area formed by the welding of the current collecting component and the electrode terminal, the adhesive can play a certain blocking role on the welding slag or metal particles formed by the welding of the current collecting component and the electrode terminal while achieving mutual adhesion between the adhesive and the current collecting component, so as to alleviate the phenomenon of welding slag or metal particles entering the interior of the electrode assembly, thereby helping to reduce the short circuit risk of the battery cell and improve the safety of the battery cell.
[0035] In some embodiments, a mounting hole is provided on the insulating bracket, and the mounting hole passes through the insulating bracket along the thickness direction of the first wall, and the mounting hole is used to accommodate the adhesive; wherein, along the thickness direction of the first wall, the projection of the welding area is located within the mounting hole.
[0036] In the above technical solution, a mounting hole for accommodating an adhesive is provided on the insulating bracket, and the projection of the welding area formed by welding the current collecting member and the electrode terminal to each other in the thickness direction of the first wall is set to be located within the mounting hole, so that when the adhesive is injected into the mounting hole, the adhesive can cover the welding area, which is beneficial to reducing the difficulty of assembling the battery cell.
[0037] In some embodiments, the maximum dimension of the welding area in the radial direction of the mounting hole is D1, and the diameter of the mounting hole is D2, satisfying 1.5≤D2 / D1≤2.5.
[0038] In the above technical solution, by setting the ratio of the diameter of the mounting hole to the radial size of the welding area of the mounting hole to 1.5 to 2.5, that is, the diameter of the mounting hole is 1.5 to 2.5 times the radial size of the welding area of the mounting hole, on the one hand, it can alleviate the phenomenon that the welding area cannot be effectively covered after the adhesive is injected into the mounting hole due to a too small ratio, so as to ensure the coverage effect of the adhesive on the welding area; on the other hand, it can alleviate the phenomenon of turbulence of the adhesive before solidification due to an excessively large ratio, so as to reduce the interference effect of the adhesive on other components inside the battery cell.
[0039] In some embodiments, along the thickness direction of the first wall, a surface of the welding area facing the adhesive member is a rough surface.
[0040] In the above technical solution, by setting the surface of the welding area facing the adhesive to a rough surface, that is, the surface of the welding area facing the adhesive is an uneven surface, it is beneficial to improve the roughness of the surface where the welding area and the adhesive are bonded to each other, so as to increase the contact area between the adhesive and the welding area, and then effectively improve the bonding firmness between the adhesive and the welding area, so as to improve the connection stability and reliability of the insulating bracket and the lead-out component bracket.
[0041] In some embodiments, along the thickness direction of the first wall, a plurality of printed grooves are provided on the surface where the current collecting member and the adhesive are bonded to each other, and the printed grooves are used to accommodate parts of the adhesive.
[0042] In the above technical solution, a plurality of printed grooves are provided on the surface of the current collecting component for bonding with the adhesive, thereby helping to improve the roughness of the surface on which the current collecting component and the adhesive are bonded to each other, thereby increasing the contact area between the adhesive and the current collecting component, and further effectively improving the bonding firmness between the adhesive and the current collecting component, thereby improving the connection stability and reliability of the insulating bracket and the lead-out component bracket.
[0043] In some embodiments, the battery cell further includes a first insulating member; along a thickness direction of the first wall, at least a portion of the first insulating member is disposed between the first wall and the current collecting member to insulate and isolate the first wall from the current collecting member.
[0044] In the above technical solution, the battery cell is also provided with a first insulating member. By arranging at least a portion of the first insulating member between the first wall and the current collecting member in the thickness direction of the first wall, the first wall and the current collecting member are insulated and isolated, which is beneficial to reduce the risk of short circuit between the first wall and the current collecting member, thereby improving the safety of the battery cell.
[0045] In some embodiments, the first insulating member includes an insulating body and two second protrusions; along the thickness direction of the first wall, the insulating body is arranged between the first wall and the current collecting component; the two second protrusions are protruded on the side of the insulating body facing the current collecting component, and along the first direction, the two second protrusions are spaced apart, and an accommodating space is formed between the two second protrusions, and the accommodating space is used to accommodate at least part of the insulating bracket, and the first direction is perpendicular to the thickness direction of the first wall.
[0046] In the above technical solution, by accommodating at least part of the insulating bracket in the accommodating space formed between the two second protrusions of the first insulating member, the insulating bracket can be limited and positioned to a certain extent. On the one hand, it is convenient to assemble the insulating bracket and can provide a certain protection for the insulating bracket. On the other hand, it can further reduce the movement of the insulating bracket during the assembly or use of the battery cell, thereby reducing the risk of the insulating bracket damaging the electrode assembly due to movement, which is beneficial to improving the safety and service life of the battery cell.
[0047] In some embodiments, along a thickness direction of the first wall, the second protrusion has a first surface facing the main body, and the insulating support does not extend beyond the first surface.
[0048] In the above technical solution, the insulating bracket is set to not exceed the first surface of the second protrusion of the first insulating member in the thickness direction of the first wall, that is, the entire insulating bracket is accommodated in the accommodating space, so that on the one hand, the limiting effect of the first insulating member on the insulating bracket can be improved, and it is beneficial to improve the protective effect of the first insulating member on the insulating bracket. On the other hand, it can save the space occupied by the first insulating member and the insulating bracket, which is beneficial to optimize the internal space of the battery cell and improve the internal space utilization rate of the battery cell.
[0049] In some embodiments, the insulating bracket includes a main body and a protrusion, the main body is accommodated in the accommodating space, and along the first direction, the protrusion protrudes from at least one end of the main body; along the thickness direction of the first wall, the second protrusion has a first surface facing the electrode assembly, and the first surface is provided with a groove, along the first direction, the groove passes through the second protrusion and is connected to the accommodating space, the protrusion extends into the groove, and the bottom surfaces of the groove abut against each other.
[0050] In the above technical solution, a groove is provided on the first surface of the second protrusion facing the main body, and the groove passes through one side of the second protrusion along the first direction and is connected to the accommodating space, so that the second protrusion is a stepped structure. Therefore, by accommodating the main body of the insulating bracket in the accommodating space, and setting the protruding portion of the insulating bracket to extend into the groove, and the protruding portion abuts against the bottom surface of the groove, the second protrusion can play a certain limiting and positioning role on the insulating bracket in the thickness direction of the first wall, so as to improve the assembly quality between the insulating bracket and the first insulating member, and help reduce the difficulty of assembly.
[0051] In some embodiments, the protrusion is spaced apart from the side surface of the groove, and the distance between the protrusion and the side surface of the groove is L, which satisfies 0.8 mm ≤ L ≤ 2 mm.
[0052] In the above technical solution, by setting the distance between the protrusion of the insulating bracket and the side surface of the groove to 0.8 mm to 2 mm, on the one hand, it can alleviate the phenomenon that the distance between the protrusion of the insulating bracket accommodated in the groove and the side surface of the groove is too small, resulting in excessive difficulty in assembling the insulating bracket into the accommodating space and the groove, and the assembly accuracy requirement is too high, thereby reducing the assembly difficulty between the insulating bracket and the first insulating part to improve the assembly efficiency. On the other hand, it can alleviate the phenomenon that the distance between the protrusion of the insulating bracket and the side surface of the groove is too large, resulting in poor limiting and positioning effect of the groove on the insulating bracket.
[0053] In some embodiments, along the thickness direction of the first wall, the lead-out component is located on a side of the insulating support away from the main body, and the tab is bent around the insulating support and connected to the lead-out component.
[0054] In the above technical solution, the electrode assembly and the lead-out component are electrically connected by setting the tab to be bent around the insulating bracket and then connected to the lead-out component, thereby realizing the input or output of electrical energy of the battery cell. The battery cell adopting this structure makes the portion of the tab connected to the lead-out component located on the side of the insulating bracket away from the main body, thereby effectively alleviating the phenomenon of the tab being inserted upside down into the main body of the electrode assembly during assembly or use, which is beneficial to reducing the risk of short circuit of the battery cell and improving the safety of the battery cell. In addition, since the insulating bracket is fixedly connected to the lead-out component, it can effectively reduce the phenomenon of the insulating bracket moving or shifting during the use of the battery cell, thereby effectively reducing the risk of the insulating bracket destroying the shape of the tab or damaging the tab due to movement, thereby alleviating the phenomenon of the tab short-circuiting with other components or the connection failure between the electrode assembly and the lead-out component, which is beneficial to improving the safety and service life of the battery cell.
[0055] In some embodiments, the housing includes a shell and an end cover; a receiving cavity with an opening is formed inside the shell, and the electrode assembly is received in the receiving cavity; the end cover closes the opening; wherein the end cover is the first wall.
[0056] In the above technical solution, the first wall for installing the lead-out component is an end cover for closing the opening of the shell. This structure makes it easy to assemble the lead-out component on the first wall and to connect the insulating bracket to the lead-out component, so as to reduce the difficulty of assembling the battery cell, thereby helping to improve the production efficiency of the battery cell.
[0057] In some embodiments, the outer shell includes a shell and an end cover; the shell includes an integrally formed side wall and the first wall, the side wall is arranged around the first wall, and along the thickness direction of the first wall, one end of the side wall is connected to the first wall, and the other end is enclosed to form an opening, and the side wall and the first wall jointly define a accommodating cavity for accommodating the electrode assembly; the end cover closes the opening.
[0058] In the above technical solution, the first wall for installing the lead-out component is a wall of the shell arranged opposite to the end cover in the thickness direction of the first wall. This structure can make the first wall equipped with the lead-out component away from the end cover of the shell, so that there is no direct connection between the first wall and the end cover, thereby reducing the force generated by the pulling or twisting of the first wall by the lead-out component acting on the end cover, thereby reducing the risk of connection failure between the end cover and the shell, and further helping to further reduce the risk of leakage of the battery cell during use.
[0059] In a second aspect, an embodiment of the present application further provides a battery comprising the above-mentioned battery cell.
[0060] In a third aspect, an embodiment of the present application further provides an electrical device comprising the above-mentioned battery. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The electrode assembly consists of a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet, and a separator. A battery cell primarily operates by the movement of metal ions between the positive and negative electrode sheets. The positive electrode sheet includes a positive current collector and a positive active material layer. The positive active material layer is coated on the surface of the positive electrode collector. The portion of the positive electrode collector not coated with the positive active material layer serves as the positive tab, allowing power to be input or output from the positive electrode sheet through the positive tab. For lithium-ion batteries, for example, the positive electrode current collector can be made of aluminum, and the positive active material can be lithium cobalt oxide, lithium iron phosphate, ternary lithium, or lithium manganese oxide. The negative electrode sheet includes a negative current collector and a negative active material layer. The negative active material layer is coated on the surface of the negative electrode collector. The portion of the negative electrode collector not coated with the negative active material layer serves as the negative tab, allowing power to be input or output from the negative electrode sheet through the negative tab. The negative electrode current collector can be made of copper, and the negative electrode active material can be carbon or silicon, etc. In order to ensure that a large current can pass without melting, the number of positive electrode tabs can be multiple and stacked together, and the number of negative electrode tabs can be multiple and stacked together.
[0085] The material of the isolation film may be polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE), etc. In addition, the electrode assembly structure may be a wound structure or a laminated structure, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
[0086] Batteries, with their outstanding advantages such as high energy density, low environmental pollution, high power density, long service life, wide adaptability, and low self-discharge coefficient, are a vital component of today's new energy development. A battery cell is typically assembled from a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet, and a separator through winding or lamination to form an electrode assembly (bare cell), which is then enclosed in a casing and finally filled with electrolyte. However, with the continuous development of battery technology, higher requirements have been placed on battery safety performance and service life.
[0087] For general battery cells, the outer shell of the battery cell usually includes a shell and an end cover, and the end cover is covered with the opening of the shell. In order to facilitate the assembly of the battery cell, the electrode terminal is usually assembled to the end cover of the battery cell, so that when the end cover is covered with the shell, the electrode terminal can be first welded to the electrode lug of the electrode assembly through the current collecting member provided in the shell to achieve electrical connection between the electrode terminal and the electrode assembly, so as to realize the input or output of electrical energy of the battery cell through the electrode terminal as the output pole of the battery cell, and finally the end cover is connected to the shell.
[0088] The inventors discovered that current collecting members typically serve to connect the electrode terminals and the tabs of the electrode assembly. The current collecting members are disposed between the electrode terminals and the electrode assembly to connect the electrode terminals and the tabs of the electrode assembly. However, during assembly or use of battery cells employing this structure, the current collecting members can cause some compression of the tabs, making it very easy for the tabs to be squeezed and then inserted upside down into the interior of the electrode assembly. This can easily lead to a short circuit risk in the battery cell and poor operational stability. To address this problem, the prior art typically employs an insulating bracket between the electrode assembly and the current collecting member, with the current collecting member positioned on the side of the insulating bracket facing away from the electrode assembly. This allows the tabs to be bent around the insulating bracket before connecting to the current collecting member, effectively mitigating the problem of tabs being inserted upside down into the interior of the electrode assembly. However, in a battery cell of this structure, the insulating bracket may move or shift during the use of the battery cell, which may easily destroy the shape of the tab and even damage the electrode assembly, and then easily cause a short circuit between the electrode assembly and other components or cause the connection between the electrode assembly and the electrode terminal to fail, which is not conducive to improving the safety and service life of the battery cell.
[0089] Based on the above considerations, and in order to address the issues of low safety and short service life of battery cells, the inventors, after in-depth research, have designed a battery cell comprising a housing, a lead-out component, an electrode assembly, and an insulating bracket. The housing comprises a first wall, to which the lead-out component is connected. The electrode assembly is housed within the housing and comprises a main body and a tab, the tab protruding from one end of the main body facing the first wall, the tab being connected to the lead-out component. The insulating bracket is disposed between the first wall and the main body along the thickness direction of the first wall and is fixedly connected to the lead-out component.
[0090] In a battery cell of this structure, the insulating bracket is fixedly connected to the lead-out component, and the lead-out component is connected to the first wall of the shell, so that the insulating bracket can be fastened to the first wall to fix the insulating bracket in the shell.
[0091] The battery cells disclosed in the embodiments of this application can be used, but are not limited to, in electrical devices such as vehicles, ships, or aircraft. A power supply system comprising the battery cells and batteries disclosed in this application can be used to construct such electrical devices. This helps address the issue of electrode assemblies being easily damaged during use, thereby improving the safety and service life of the battery cells.

[0093] For the convenience of description, the following embodiments are described by taking a vehicle 1000 as an example of an electrical device according to an embodiment of the present application.
[0094] Please refer to Figure 1, which is a schematic structural diagram of a vehicle 1000 provided in some embodiments of the present application. The vehicle 1000 can be a fuel vehicle, a gas vehicle or a new energy vehicle. The new energy vehicle can be a pure electric vehicle, a hybrid vehicle or an extended-range vehicle, etc. A battery 100 is provided inside the vehicle 1000. The battery 100 can be arranged at the bottom of the vehicle 1000, or at the head of the vehicle 1000, or at the tail of the vehicle 1000. The battery 100 can be used to power the vehicle 1000. For example, the battery 100 can be used as an operating power source or a power source for the vehicle 1000. The vehicle 1000 may also include a controller 200 and a motor 300. The controller 200 is used to control the battery 100 to power the motor 300, for example, for starting, navigating and driving the vehicle 1000.
[0095] In some embodiments of the present application, the battery 100 can not only serve as the operating power source or usage power source of the vehicle 1000, but also serve as the driving power source of the vehicle 1000, replacing or partially replacing fuel or natural gas to provide driving power for the vehicle 1000.
[0096] 2 and 3 , FIG2 is an exploded view of a battery 100 according to some embodiments of the present invention, and FIG3 is a schematic diagram of a battery cell 20 according to some embodiments of the present invention. The battery 100 includes a housing 10 and a battery cell 20 , wherein the battery cell 20 is accommodated in the housing 10 .
[0097] The housing 10 is used to provide assembly space for the battery cells 20 and can have various structures. In some embodiments, the housing 10 can include a first housing body 11 and a second housing body 12. The first housing body 11 and the second housing body 12 overlap each other, and the first housing body 11 and the second housing body 12 together define an assembly space for accommodating the battery cells 20. The second housing body 12 can be a hollow structure with one end open. The first housing body 11 can be a plate-like structure, and the first housing body 11 overlaps the open side of the second housing body 12, so that the first housing body 11 and the second housing body 12 jointly define the assembly space. The first housing body 11 and the second housing body 12 can also be hollow structures with one end open, with the open side of the first housing body 11 overlapping the open side of the second housing body 12. Of course, the housing 10 formed by the first housing body 11 and the second housing body 12 can have various shapes, such as a cylinder, a rectangular parallelepiped, etc. For example, in Figure 2, the housing 10 is in the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped.
[0098] In the battery 100, the number of battery cells 20 disposed in the housing 10 may be one or more. When there are multiple battery cells 20 disposed in the housing 10, the multiple battery cells 20 may be connected in series, in parallel, or in a mixed connection. Mixed connection means that the multiple battery cells 20 are connected in series and in parallel. The multiple battery cells 20 may be directly connected in series, in parallel, or in a mixed connection, and then the whole formed by the multiple battery cells 20 may be accommodated in the housing 10. Of course, the battery 100 may also be a battery module formed by first connecting multiple battery cells 20 in series, in parallel, or in a mixed connection, and then the multiple battery modules may be connected in series, in parallel, or in a mixed connection to form a whole, and then accommodated in the housing 10. The battery 100 may also include other structures. For example, the battery 100 may also include a busbar component, which is used to connect the multiple battery cells 20 to achieve electrical connection between the multiple battery cells 20.
[0099] Each battery cell 20 can be a secondary battery or a primary battery; it can also be a lithium-sulfur battery, a sodium-ion battery, or a magnesium-ion battery, but is not limited thereto. The battery cell 20 can be cylindrical, flat, rectangular, or in other shapes. For example, in FIG3 , the battery cell 20 is a rectangular parallelepiped.
[0100] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to FIG3 and further to FIG4, FIG5, and FIG6, FIG4 is an exploded view of a battery cell 20 according to some embodiments of the present application, FIG5 is a partial cross-sectional view of a battery cell 20 according to some embodiments of the present application, and FIG6 is an enlarged partial view of a portion A of the battery cell 20 shown in FIG5. The present application provides a battery cell 20, comprising a housing 21, a lead-out member 22, an electrode assembly 23, and an insulating support 24. The housing 21 has a first wall 211, to which the lead-out member 22 is connected. The electrode assembly 23 is housed within the housing 21 and comprises a main body 231 and a tab 232. The tab 232 is protruding from one end of the main body 231 facing the first wall 211 and connected to the lead-out member 22. An insulating support 24 is disposed between the first wall 211 and the main body 231 along the thickness direction X of the first wall and is fixedly connected to the lead-out member 22.
[0101] The housing 21 can also be used to contain an electrolyte, such as an electrolyte solution. The housing 21 can have various structural forms, such as a cylinder or a rectangular parallelepiped. Similarly, the housing 21 can be made of various materials, such as copper, iron, aluminum, steel, or an aluminum alloy.
[0102] In some embodiments, the housing 21 may include a shell 212 and an end cover 213, and a accommodating cavity is formed inside the shell 212, which is used to accommodate the electrode assembly 23, and the accommodating cavity has an opening 2121, that is, the shell 212 is a hollow structure with an opening 2121 at one end, and the end cover 213 covers the opening 2121 of the shell 212 and forms a sealed connection to form a sealed space for accommodating the electrode assembly 23 and the electrolyte.
[0103] It should be noted that the first wall 211 for mounting the lead-out component 22 can be the end cap 213 or a wall of the housing 212. For example, in Figures 3 and 4, the first wall 211 is the end cap 213. Of course, the structure of the battery cell 20 is not limited to this. In other embodiments, the first wall 211 can also be the bottom wall of the housing 212 disposed opposite the end cap 213, or the first wall 211 can also be a side wall of the housing 212 and the end cap 213 adjacent to and abutting each other.
[0104] When assembling the battery cell 20 , the electrode assembly 23 may be placed in the housing 212 and filled with electrolyte. The end cap 213 may then be placed on the opening 2121 of the housing 212 to complete the assembly of the battery cell 20 .
[0105] The housing 212 can have a variety of shapes, such as a cylinder, a rectangular parallelepiped, or a prismatic structure. The shape of the housing 212 can be determined based on the specific shape of the electrode assembly 23. For example, if the electrode assembly 23 has a cylindrical structure, a cylindrical housing 212 can be selected; if the electrode assembly 23 has a rectangular parallelepiped structure, a rectangular parallelepiped housing 212 can be selected. Of course, the structure of the end cap 213 can also be various, such as a plate-like structure or a hollow structure with one end open. For example, in Figure 4, the housing 212 has a rectangular parallelepiped structure.
[0106] Of course, it is understandable that the shell 21 is not limited to the above structure. The shell 21 may also be other structures. For example, the shell 21 may include a shell 212 and two end covers 213. The shell 212 is a hollow structure with openings 2121 on opposite sides. One end cover 213 corresponds to an opening 2121 of the shell 212 and forms a sealed connection to form a sealed space for accommodating the electrode assembly 23 and the electrolyte. That is, the shell 212 is formed with openings 2121 on opposite sides, and the two end covers 213 are respectively covered on both sides of the shell 212 to close the corresponding openings 2121.
[0107] It should be noted that the electrode assembly 23 is a component in the battery cell 20 where the electrochemical reaction occurs. The main body 231 of the electrode assembly 23 may include a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet, and a separator. The structure of the electrode assembly 23 can be various. For example, the main body 231 of the electrode assembly 23 can be a wound structure formed by winding the positive electrode sheet, the separator, and the negative electrode sheet, or a stacked structure formed by stacking the positive electrode sheet, the separator, and the negative electrode sheet. The tabs 232 of the electrode assembly 23 are components formed by stacking and connecting the areas on the positive electrode sheet that are not coated with the positive active material layer, or by stacking and connecting the areas on the negative electrode sheet that are not coated with the negative active material layer.
[0108] The tab 232 protrudes from one end of the main body 231 facing the first wall 211. Specifically, the tab 232 is connected to one end of the main body 231 that is closer to the first wall 211 in the thickness direction X of the first wall. In other words, the tab 232 is formed at one end of the electrode assembly 23 that is closer to the first wall 211 in the thickness direction X of the first wall. The tab 232 is used to connect to the lead-out member 22 to enable the input or output of electrical energy from the battery cell 20.
[0109] For example, in FIG4 , there are two tabs 232 , and both tabs 232 are connected to one end of the main body 231 facing the first wall 211 in the thickness direction X of the first wall. The two tabs 232 are respectively used to output or input the positive and negative electrodes of the electrode assembly 23 . If the tabs 232 are used to output the positive electrode of the electrode assembly 23 , the tabs 232 are formed by stacking and connecting the regions of the positive electrode sheet that are not coated with the positive electrode active material layer; if the tabs 232 are used to output the negative electrode of the electrode assembly 23 , the tabs 232 are formed by stacking and connecting the regions of the negative electrode sheet that are not coated with the negative electrode active material layer.
[0110] The number of electrode assemblies 23 housed within the housing 21 may be one or more. For example, in FIG4 , the housing 21 of the battery cell 20 is provided with two electrode assemblies 23 , with the main bodies 231 of the two electrode assemblies 23 stacked along the thickness of the housing 21. That is, the main bodies 231 of the two electrode assemblies 23 are stacked along the thickness of the battery cell 20. Of course, in other embodiments, the number of electrode assemblies 23 housed within the housing 21 may also be three, four, five, six, or seven, etc.
[0111] Along the thickness direction X of the first wall, the insulating bracket 24 is disposed between the first wall 211 and the main body 231. That is, the insulating bracket 24 is located between the first wall 211 and the main body 231 of the electrode assembly 23 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, thereby separating the first wall 211 from the main body 231 of the electrode assembly 23. The insulating bracket 24 is disposed between the lead-out component 22 and the main body 231 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, thereby providing support for the main body 231 of the electrode assembly 23, thereby increasing the force-bearing area of the main body 231 and reducing the risk of damage to the main body 231 of the electrode assembly 23 due to localized force.
[0112] For example, the insulating bracket 24 may be made of plastic, rubber, or silicone.
[0113] The lead-out member 22 is connected to the first wall 211 and serves to connect to the tabs 232 of the electrode assembly 23, thereby enabling the input or output of electrical energy from the battery cell 20. The lead-out member 22 can have various structures. In some embodiments, as shown in Figures 4, 5, and 6, the battery cell 20 may include two lead-out members 22, both mounted on the first wall 211. The two lead-out members 22 are respectively connected to the two tabs 232 of the electrode assembly 23 to output or input the positive and negative electrodes of the battery cell 20.
[0114] In some embodiments, the lead-out component 22 may include an electrode terminal 221 and a current collecting member 222, the electrode terminal 221 is installed on the first wall 211, the current collecting member 222 is arranged between the electrode terminal 221 and the insulating bracket 24 along the thickness direction X of the first wall, and is connected to the electrode terminal 221, and the current collecting member 222 is used to connect the electrode tab 232 of the electrode assembly 23 to achieve electrical connection between the electrode assembly 23 and the electrode terminal 221.
[0115] The insulating bracket 24 is fixedly connected to the lead-out component 22, that is, the insulating bracket 24 is connected to the lead-out component 22 to fix the insulating bracket 24 to the lead-out component 22. Optionally, the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22 may have various connection structures. For example, the insulating bracket 24 may be fixedly connected to the current collecting member 222 of the lead-out component 22, or the insulating bracket 24 may be fixedly connected to the electrode terminal 221 of the lead-out component 22 to fix the insulating bracket 24 to the lead-out component 22. Similarly, the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22 may be fixedly connected to each other in various ways. For example, the insulating bracket 24 may be fixedly connected to the lead-out component 22 by bonding, clamping, or bolting. Of course, the structure of the battery cell 20 is not limited to this. In other embodiments, the lead-out component 22 may not be provided with the current collecting component 222, and the pole ear 232 of the electrode assembly 23 is directly connected to the electrode terminal 221. In the embodiment where the current collecting component 222 is not provided in the battery cell 20, the pole ear 232 of the electrode assembly 23 can be directly connected to the electrode terminal 221, and the insulating bracket 24 is fixedly connected to the electrode terminal 221 to fix the insulating bracket 24.
[0116] Optionally, the battery cell 20 may further include a first insulating member 25, and along the thickness direction X of the first wall, at least a portion of the first insulating member 25 is located between the first wall 211 and the current collecting member 222 to insulate and isolate the first wall 211 and the current collecting member 222, thereby helping to reduce the risk of short circuit between the current collecting member 222 and the first wall 211.
[0117] For example, the first insulating member 25 may be made of plastic, rubber, or silicone.
[0118] In Figure 6, lead-out holes 2111 are provided on the first wall 211. These lead-out holes 2111 correspond one-to-one with the electrode terminals 221 of the lead-out component 22. The lead-out holes 2111 extend along the thickness direction X of the first wall and penetrate both sides of the first wall 211 along the thickness direction X. Each electrode terminal 221 is positioned within a corresponding lead-out hole 2111, thereby mounting the electrode terminal 221 on the first wall 211. In the thickness direction X of the first wall, one end of the electrode terminal 221 is connected to the current collecting member 222, and the other end is used to connect to the current collecting component within the battery 100, thereby enabling the input or output of electrical energy from the battery cells 20.
[0119] The electrode terminal 221 is insulated and mounted on the first wall 211 , that is, no electrical connection is formed between the electrode terminal 221 and the first wall 211 , that is, no electrical connection is formed between the electrode terminal 221 and the end cover 213 of the housing 21 .
[0120] Optionally, the lead-out component 22 may further include a rivet block 223, which is arranged on the side of the first wall 211 away from the first insulating member 25 along the thickness direction X of the first wall, and the rivet block 223 is connected to the end of the electrode terminal 221 away from the current collecting component 222 to fasten the electrode terminal 221 to the first wall 211.
[0121] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG6 , the battery cell 20 may further include a second insulating member 26 and a sealing member 27. Along the thickness direction X of the first wall, at least a portion of the second insulating member 26 is disposed between the rivet block 223 and the first wall 211 to insulate and isolate the rivet block 223 from the first wall 211, thereby advantageously reducing the risk of short circuits between the rivet block 223 and the first wall 211. At least a portion of the sealing member 27 is disposed within the lead-out hole 2111 to seal the gap between the electrode terminal 221 and the wall of the lead-out hole 2111, thereby advantageously reducing the risk of electrolyte leakage within the battery cell 20.
[0122] For example, the second insulating member 26 can be made of various materials, such as plastic, rubber, or silicone, etc. Similarly, the sealing member 27 can also be made of various materials, such as plastic, rubber, or silicone, etc.
[0123] In some embodiments, the battery cell 20 may further include a pressure relief mechanism 28 mounted on the housing 21. Alternatively, the pressure relief mechanism 28 may be mounted on the end cap 213 or the housing 212. Similarly, the battery cell 20 may include one or more pressure relief mechanisms 28. The pressure relief mechanism 28 is used to relieve pressure within the battery cell 20 when the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell 20 reaches a predetermined value.
[0124] Exemplarily, the battery cell 20 is provided with only one pressure relief mechanism 28 , and the pressure relief mechanism 28 is mounted on the end cover 213 . The pressure relief mechanism 28 may be a pressure relief component such as an explosion-proof valve, an explosion-proof disk, an air valve, a pressure relief valve or a safety valve.
[0125] By fixing the insulating bracket 24 to the lead-out component 22, and the lead-out component 22 to the first wall 211 of the outer shell 21, the insulating bracket 24 can be fastened to the first wall 211 to fix the insulating bracket 24 in the outer shell 21. The battery cell 20 adopting this structure can reduce the phenomenon of movement or displacement of the insulating bracket 24 during the use of the battery cell 20, thereby reducing the risk of the insulating bracket 24 damaging the electrode assembly 23 due to movement, thereby improving the use stability and reliability of the battery cell 20, and further helping to improve the use safety and service life of the battery cell 20.
[0126] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 , the battery cell 20 may further include an adhesive member 29 , which bonds the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22 to fix the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22 together.
[0127] The adhesive 29 serves to bond the lead-out component 22 to the insulating bracket 24, thereby enabling the insulating bracket 24 to be fixedly connected to the lead-out component 22. The adhesive 29 can be bonded to the current collecting member 222 of the lead-out component 22, or to the electrode terminal 221 of the lead-out component 22. For example, in FIG6 , the adhesive 29 bonds the insulating bracket 24 to the current collecting member 222, i.e., the insulating bracket 24 is bonded to the current collecting member 222 of the lead-out component 22 via the adhesive 29.
[0128] Exemplarily, the adhesive 29 can be of various types. For example, the adhesive can be glue, tape, etc., or it can be hot-melt rubber, plastic or plastic, etc. When the adhesive 29 is hot-melt rubber, plastic or plastic, etc., the adhesive 29 is first heated and melted into a fluid state, so that the adhesive 29 can bond the lead-out component 22 and the insulating bracket 24, and after the adhesive 29 cools and solidifies, the lead-out component 22 and the insulating bracket 24 can be fastened together.
[0129] The battery cell 20 is also provided with an adhesive 29, and the insulating bracket 24 is bonded to the lead-out component 22 under the action of the adhesive 29 to achieve a fixed connection between the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22. The battery cell 20 adopting this structure can, on the one hand, effectively reduce the assembly difficulty of connecting the insulating bracket 24 to the lead-out component 22, so as to facilitate fixing the insulating bracket 24 on the lead-out component 22, thereby effectively improving the assembly efficiency of the battery cell 20. On the other hand, connecting the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22 through the adhesive 29 can effectively improve the connection stability and reliability between the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22.
[0130] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to FIG6 and further referring to FIG7 and FIG8 , FIG7 is a schematic structural diagram of an insulating bracket 24 of a battery cell 20 provided in some embodiments of the present application, and FIG8 is a partial cross-sectional view of an insulating bracket 24 of a battery cell 20 provided in some embodiments of the present application. The insulating bracket 24 is provided with a mounting hole 241 , which passes through the insulating bracket 24 along the thickness direction X of the first wall, and is used to accommodate at least a portion of the adhesive 29 .
[0131] Among them, the mounting hole 241 passes through the insulating bracket 24 along the thickness direction X of the first wall, that is, the mounting hole 241 extends along the thickness direction X of the first wall, and the two ends of the mounting hole 241 respectively pass through the two sides of the insulating bracket 24 along the thickness direction X of the first wall, so that the adhesive 29 can be injected into the mounting hole 241 so that the adhesive 29 contacts the lead-out component 22, and at least part of the adhesive 29 is accommodated in the mounting hole 241, so as to realize the adhesive connection between the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22.
[0132] The mounting hole 241 is used to accommodate at least a portion of the adhesive 29, that is, the adhesive 29 can be entirely accommodated in the mounting hole 241, or a portion of the adhesive 29 can be accommodated in the mounting hole 241. For example, in Figure 6, a portion of the adhesive 29 is accommodated in the mounting hole 241, and the adhesive 29 extends out of the mounting hole 241 along the thickness direction X of the first wall near one end of the lead-out component 22, so that the adhesive 29 and the lead-out component 22 can be bonded to each other.
[0133] By providing a mounting hole 241 on the insulating bracket 24 for accommodating the adhesive 29, and the mounting hole 241 passes through the insulating bracket 24 along the thickness direction X of the first wall, on the one hand, it is convenient to set the adhesive 29 between the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22 through the mounting hole 241 to achieve adhesion between the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22, which is beneficial to reduce the assembly difficulty and improve the assembly efficiency. On the other hand, by accommodating at least part of the adhesive 29 in the mounting hole 241, the contact area between the adhesive 29 and the insulating bracket 24 can be effectively increased, and the accommodating capacity of the adhesive 29 can be increased, which is beneficial to improve the stability and reliability of the insulating bracket 24 adhering to the lead-out component 22, so as to reduce the risk of the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22 falling off during use.
[0134] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to Figures 6, 7, and 8, and further referring to Figure 9, which is a partial enlarged view of point B of the insulating bracket 24 shown in Figure 7, a limiting portion 242 is provided on the wall surface of the mounting hole 241, and at least a portion of the limiting portion 242 is embedded in the adhesive member 29.
[0135] The hole wall surface of the mounting hole 241 is provided with a limiting portion 242 , that is, the limiting portion 242 is connected to the hole wall surface of the mounting hole 241 and protrudes from the hole wall surface of the mounting hole 241 .
[0136] At least a portion of the limiting portion 242 is embedded in the adhesive 29, that is, the adhesive 29 covers at least a portion of the limiting portion 242. Optionally, the limiting portion 242 may be partially embedded in the adhesive 29, or the entire limiting portion 242 may be embedded in the adhesive 29. For example, in FIG6 , the entire limiting portion 242 is embedded in the adhesive 29, thereby facilitating an enhanced limiting effect of the limiting portion 242 on the adhesive 29.
[0137] By protruding a limiting portion 242 on the wall surface of the mounting hole 241 and embedding at least a portion of the limiting portion 242 in the adhesive 29, the limiting portion 242 can play a certain limiting role on the adhesive 29 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, and can further increase the contact area between the adhesive 29 and the insulating bracket 24, so as to improve the bonding effect between the adhesive 29 and the insulating bracket 24, and further reduce the risk of the adhesive 29 and the insulating bracket 24 falling off, which is beneficial to improve the connection reliability and stability between the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22.
[0138] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in Figures 6, 8, and 9, the limiting portion 242 includes a separator 2421 connected to the hole wall surface of the mounting hole 241. The separator 2421 is configured to separate the mounting hole 241 into a first hole segment 2411 and a second hole segment 2412 arranged along the thickness direction X of the first wall. The first hole segment 2411 is closer to the lead-out component 22 than the second hole segment 2412. The separator 2421 is provided with a through hole 2421a extending along the thickness direction X of the first wall. The through hole 2421a connects the first hole segment 2411 and the second hole segment 2412. The first hole segment 2411, the through hole 2421a, and the second hole segment 2412 all accommodate portions of the adhesive 29.
[0139] In which, the separator 2421 is configured to separate the mounting hole 241 into a first hole segment 2411 and a second hole segment 2412 arranged along the thickness direction X of the first wall, that is, the separator 2421 is a plate-like structure connected to the hole wall surface of the mounting hole 241 to separate the mounting hole 241 into two hole segments, namely the first hole segment 2411 and the second hole segment 2412 arranged along the thickness direction X of the first wall.
[0140] The separator 2421 is provided with a through hole 2421a extending along the thickness direction X of the first wall, and the through hole 2421a connects the first hole segment 2411 and the second hole segment 2412, that is, the separator 2421 is provided with a through hole 2421a passing through both sides of the separator 2421 along the thickness direction X of the first wall, so that the first hole segment 2411 of the mounting hole 241 and the second hole segment 2412 of the mounting hole 241 can be connected through the through hole 2421a, so that the adhesive 29 can be accommodated in the first hole segment 2411, the through hole 2421a and the second hole segment 2412, that is, the separator 2421 is connected to the hole wall surface of the mounting hole 241, and the separator 2421 is an annular structure extending along the circumference of the mounting hole 241, so that while separating the mounting hole 241 into the first hole segment 2411 and the second hole segment 2412, it can also achieve mutual connection between the first hole segment 2411 and the second hole segment 2412.
[0141] The limiting portion 242 has a separator 2421 disposed in the mounting hole 241 and connected to the hole wall surface of the mounting hole 241. The separator 2421 can separate the mounting hole 241 into a first hole segment 2411 and a second hole segment 2412 arranged along the thickness direction X of the first wall, and the first hole segment 2411 and the second hole segment 2412 are connected through a through hole 2421a disposed on the separator 2421, so that the first hole segment 2411, the second hole segment 2412 and the through hole 2421a can all accommodate a portion of the adhesive 29. When the insulating bracket 24 adopts this structure, the separator 2421 can play a certain limiting role on the adhesive 29 when the adhesive 29 is injected into the mounting hole 241, so as to keep the adhesive 29 in the first hole segment 2411 and the second hole segment 2412, which is conducive to alleviating the adhesive 29. The turbulence phenomenon occurs before solidification, which is beneficial to improving the bonding effect of the adhesive 29 on the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22.
[0142] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in Figures 6, 8, and 9, the adhesive member 29 includes a first portion 291, a second portion 292, and a third portion 293, which are sequentially arranged and connected along the thickness direction X of the first wall. The first portion 291 is located in the first hole section 2411 and adhered to the lead-out component 22. The second portion 292 is located in the through hole 2421a. The third portion 293 is located in the second hole section 2412. Along the thickness direction X of the first wall, at least a portion of the separator 2421 is located between the first portion 291 and the third portion 293.
[0143] Among them, the first part 291, the second part 292 and the third part 293 of the adhesive 29 are respectively located in the first hole section 2411, the through hole 2421a and the second hole section 2412, so that the first hole section 2411, the through hole 2421a and the second hole section 2412 all accommodate the adhesive 29.
[0144] Along the thickness direction X of the first wall, at least part of the separator 2421 is located between the first part 291 and the third part 293, that is, in Figure 6, in the thickness direction X of the first wall, the first part 291 and the third part 293 are respectively provided on both sides of the separator 2421, that is, the radial dimensions of the first part 291 and the third part 293 in the mounting hole 241 are both larger than the radial dimensions of the second part 292 in the mounting hole 241, so that the cross-section of the adhesive 29 is an "I"-shaped structure, so that the separator 2421 can play a better limiting role on the adhesive 29.
[0145] By setting the adhesive 29 as a first part 291, a second part 292 and a third part 293 arranged along the thickness direction X of the first wall and connected in sequence, the first part 291 and the third part 293 are respectively located in the first hole section 2411 and the second hole section 2412, and at least part of the separator 2421 is set between the first part 291 and the third part 293 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, so that the separator 2421 can play a certain limiting role on the adhesive 29, which is conducive to further improving the connection reliability between the adhesive 29 and the insulating bracket 24, and thus can effectively improve the stability and reliability of the insulating bracket 24 being bonded to the lead-out component 22 through the adhesive 29.
[0146] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG6 , the thickness of the third portion 293 along the thickness direction X of the first wall is H, satisfying 0.5 mm ≤ H ≤ 5 mm. In other words, the portion of the adhesive 29 located within the second hole section 2412 has a dimension in the thickness direction X of the first wall of 0.5 mm to 5 mm.
[0147] Illustratively, the thickness H of the third portion 293 may be 0.5 mm, 0.8 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, or 5 mm.
[0148] By setting the thickness of the third part 293 in the thickness direction X of the first wall to 0.5mm to 5mm, on the one hand, the phenomenon of insufficient structural strength of the third part 293 caused by the third part 293 being too thin can be alleviated, which is beneficial to ensure the limiting effect of the separator 2421 on the adhesive 29. On the other hand, it can alleviate the phenomenon of material waste and excessive space occupation caused by the third part 293 being too thick, which is beneficial to reducing the manufacturing cost of the battery cell 20 and optimizing the internal space of the battery cell 20.
[0149] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG. 6 , along the thickness direction X of the first wall, the third portion 293 does not extend beyond the end of the second hole segment 2412 away from the partition 2421 .
[0150] Among them, the third part 293 does not exceed the end of the second hole section 2412 away from the partition 2421, that is, the third part 293 of the adhesive 29 is entirely accommodated in the second hole section 2412, so that the adhesive 29 does not extend out of the end of the second hole section 2412 away from the partition 2421 in the thickness direction X of the first wall.
[0151] By setting the third part 293 to not exceed the end of the second hole section 2412 away from the separator 2421 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, the third part 293 is entirely accommodated in the second hole section 2412, thereby reducing the phenomenon of the third part 293 overflowing from the second hole section 2412, which is beneficial to alleviate the interference effect of the third part 293 of the adhesive 29 on other components inside the battery cell 20.
[0152] According to some embodiments of the present application, please continue to refer to FIG. 6 , along the thickness direction X of the first wall, the first portion 291 extends out of the first hole section 2411 away from one end of the partition 2421 .
[0153] Among them, the first part 291 extends out of the first hole section 2411 away from one end of the partition 2421, that is, part of the first part 291 of the adhesive 29 is accommodated in the first hole section 2411, and the other part extends out of the first hole section 2411 along the thickness direction X of the first wall away from one end of the partition 2421, so that the adhesive 29 has a part that exceeds the first hole section 2411 in the thickness direction X of the first wall away from one end of the partition 2421, so that the adhesive 29 and the lead-out component 22 are bonded to each other.
[0154] By setting the first part 291 to extend the first hole section 2411 in the thickness direction X of the first wall away from one end of the partition 2421, the first part 291 overflows the first hole section 2411 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, thereby facilitating the mutual adhesion of the first part 291 of the adhesive 29 and the lead-out component 22 set on the first wall 211, so as to ensure the bonding effect between the adhesive 29 and the lead-out component 22, thereby effectively improving the connection stability between the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22.
[0155] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG6 , FIG8 and FIG9 , the limiting portion 242 further includes a first protrusion 2422 . The first protrusion 2422 is protruded from the separator 2421 and embedded in the adhesive member 29 .
[0156] The first protrusion 2422 is provided on at least one side of the separator 2421 in the thickness direction X of the first wall; and / or the first protrusion 2422 is provided on the wall surface of the through hole 2421a. In other words, the first protrusion 2422 may be provided on one side of the separator 2421 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, or on both sides of the separator 2421 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, or on the wall surface of the through hole 2421a of the separator 2421. Optionally, the number of first protrusions provided on the separator 2421 may be one or more.
[0157] The first protrusion 2422 is embedded in the adhesive member 29 , that is, the first protrusion 2422 is accommodated in the adhesive member 29 , that is, the adhesive member 29 covers the outer side of the first protrusion 2422 .
[0158] By setting a first protrusion 2422 on the separator 2421, and the first protrusion 2422 is embedded in the adhesive 29, the first protrusion 2422 can play a certain limiting role on the adhesive 29, so as to reduce the phenomenon of circumferential rotation of the first protrusion 2422 in the mounting hole 241, thereby helping to reduce the risk of mutual separation between the adhesive 29 and the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22.
[0159] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 8 and FIG. 9 , along the thickness direction X of the first wall, the first protrusion 2422 is protruded on a side of the partition 2421 facing the first hole section 2411 .
[0160] The first protrusion 2422 is provided on the side of the partition 2421 facing the first hole section 2411. That is, in the thickness direction X of the first wall, the first protrusion 2422 is provided on the side of the partition 2421 facing the lead-out component 22. Of course, in other embodiments, the first protrusion 2422 may also be provided on the side of the partition 2421 facing the second hole section 2412.
[0161] By arranging the first protrusion 2422 on the side of the separator 2421 facing the first hole section 2411, that is, the first protrusion 2422 is located in the first hole section 2411, the insulating bracket 24 with this structure is convenient for manufacturing and forming the first protrusion 2422, which is beneficial to reducing the processing difficulty of the insulating bracket 24 and improving the limiting effect of the first protrusion 2422 on the adhesive 29.
[0162] In some embodiments, please continue to refer to FIG. 8 and FIG. 9 , a plurality of first protrusions 2422 are provided on the separator 2421 , and the plurality of first protrusions 2422 are arranged at intervals along the circumference of the through hole 2421 a .
[0163] 9 , four first protrusions 2422 are provided on the separator 2421, and the four first protrusions 2422 are arranged at intervals along the circumference of the through hole 2421a. Of course, in other embodiments, the number of first protrusions 2422 provided on the separator 2421 may also be two, three, five, six, or seven.
[0164] By providing a plurality of first protrusions 2422 on the separator 2421 and arranging the first protrusions 2422 at circumferential intervals along the through hole 2421a, it is helpful to further enhance the limiting effect of the first protrusions 2422 on the adhesive 29, so as to limit the circumferential rotation of the adhesive 29 in the mounting hole 241, thereby helping to ensure the bonding effect of the adhesive 29 on the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22.
[0165] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in Figures 4 and 7 , a battery cell 20 includes two lead-out components 22 with opposite polarities, both of which are disposed on the first wall 211. The insulating bracket 24 is provided with two mounting holes 241, which are arranged in a one-to-one correspondence with the lead-out components 22, and each of the mounting holes 241 accommodates an adhesive member 29.
[0166] Among them, the battery cell 20 includes two lead-out components 22 with opposite polarities, that is, the two lead-out components 22 serve as the positive output pole and negative output pole of the battery cell 20 respectively, so that the two lead-out components 22 are respectively connected to the two pole ears 232 of the electrode assembly 23, so that the positive pole and negative pole of the battery cell 20 can be output or input respectively through the two lead-out components 22.
[0167] In Figures 4 and 7, the insulating bracket 24 is respectively provided with two mounting holes 241 corresponding to the two lead-out components 22, so that the adhesive 29 can be injected into both mounting holes 241, that is, the adhesive 29 accommodated in one mounting hole 241 is bonded to one lead-out component 22, and the adhesive 29 accommodated in the other mounting hole 241 is bonded to the other lead-out component 22, so as to achieve bonding between the insulating bracket 24 and both lead-out components 22.
[0168] The battery cell 20 is provided with two lead-out components 22, and two mounting holes 241 are correspondingly provided on the insulating bracket 24. Adhesive parts 29 are provided in the two mounting holes 241, so that the insulating bracket 24 can be bonded to both lead-out components 22, which is beneficial to further improve the connection stability and reliability of the insulating bracket 24 to the lead-out component 22, so as to reduce the phenomenon of movement or displacement of the insulating bracket 24 during use.
[0169] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in Figures 4, 5, and 6, the lead-out component 22 includes an electrode terminal 221 and a current collecting member 222. The electrode terminal 221 is connected to the first wall 211. Along the thickness direction X of the first wall, the current collecting member 222 is located between the electrode terminal 221 and the insulating support 24. The current collecting member 222 is connected to the electrode terminal 221 and the tab 232. The adhesive 29 adheres the current collecting member 222 to the insulating support 24.
[0170] The electrode terminals 221 function to output or input electrical energy from the battery cells 20 and can be made of a variety of materials, such as copper, iron, aluminum, steel, and aluminum alloys. Similarly, the current collecting members 222 connect the tabs 232 and the electrode terminals 221 and can also be made of a variety of materials, such as copper, iron, aluminum, steel, and aluminum alloys.
[0171] The current collecting member 222 is located between the electrode terminal 221 and the insulating holder 24 along the thickness direction X of the first wall. That is, the electrode terminal 221 and the insulating holder 24 are located on both sides of the current collecting member 222 in the thickness direction X of the first wall.
[0172] The current collecting member 222 connects the electrode terminal 221 and the tab 232 to achieve electrical connection between the tab 232 and the electrode terminal 221 . Optionally, the current collecting member 222 can be connected to the electrode terminal 221 and the tab 232 in various ways, such as welding, clamping or abutting.
[0173] The adhesive 29 bonds the current collecting member 222 and the insulating bracket 24 to secure the insulating bracket 24 to the lead-out member 22. Of course, in other embodiments, the lead-out member 22 may not be provided with the current collecting member 222, and the tab 232 of the electrode assembly 23 may be directly connected to the electrode terminal 221. In such an embodiment, the tab 232 of the electrode assembly 23 may be directly connected to the electrode terminal 221, and the adhesive 29 may directly bond the electrode terminal 221 and the insulating bracket 24 to secure the insulating bracket 24.
[0174] The lead-out component 22 is provided with interconnected electrode terminals 221 and current collecting members 222. The electrode terminals 221 are connected to the first wall 211 of the housing 21 to output or input electrical energy from the battery cells 20. The current collecting members 222 are positioned between the electrode terminals 221 and the insulating bracket 24 to facilitate connection between the current collecting members 222 and the tabs 232 of the electrode assembly 23, thereby achieving electrical connection between the electrode assembly 23 and the electrode terminals 221. This facilitates easier assembly of the electrode assembly 23 and the lead-out component 22. Furthermore, an adhesive 29 is provided to bond the current collecting members 222 and the insulating bracket 24 to securely connect the insulating bracket 24 to the lead-out component 22. This structure reduces the difficulty of assembling the insulating bracket 24 by bonding it to the lead-out component 22 through the adhesive 29 and increases the bonding area between the adhesive 29 and the lead-out component 22, thereby enhancing the secure bonding of the insulating bracket 24 to the lead-out component 22.
[0175] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG. 6 , the current collecting member 222 is welded to the electrode terminal 221 to form a welding region 224 , and the adhesive 29 covers at least a portion of the welding region 224 .
[0176] The current collecting member 222 is welded to the electrode terminal 221 to form a welding area 224 . That is, a weld mark formed by welding the current collecting member 222 and the electrode terminal 221 to each other is the welding area 224 .
[0177] The adhesive 29 covers at least a portion of the welding area 224 , that is, the adhesive 29 may cover a portion of the welding area 224 , or may completely cover the welding area 224 . For example, in FIG. 6 , the adhesive 29 completely covers the welding area 224 , that is, the entire welding area 224 is bonded to the adhesive 29 .
[0178] By setting the adhesive 29 to cover at least a portion of the welding area 224 formed by the welding of the current collecting component 222 and the electrode terminal 221, the adhesive 29 can be used to block the welding slag or metal particles formed by the welding of the current collecting component 222 and the electrode terminal 221 while achieving mutual adhesion between the adhesive 29 and the current collecting component 222, thereby alleviating the phenomenon of welding slag or metal particles entering the interior of the electrode assembly 23, thereby helping to reduce the short circuit risk of the battery cell 20 and improve the safety of the battery cell 20.
[0179] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in FIG. 6 , the insulating bracket 24 is provided with a mounting hole 241 extending through the insulating bracket 24 along the thickness direction X of the first wall. The mounting hole 241 is configured to accommodate the adhesive 29. Along the thickness direction X of the first wall, the projection of the welding area 224 is located within the mounting hole 241.
[0180] The projection of the welding area 224 along the thickness direction X of the first wall is located within the mounting hole 241 , that is, in the thickness direction X of the first wall, the area defined by the mounting hole 241 can cover the welding area 224 .
[0181] By providing a mounting hole 241 for accommodating the adhesive 29 on the insulating bracket 24, and setting the projection of the welding area 224 formed by welding the collecting component 222 and the electrode terminal 221 to each other in the thickness direction X of the first wall to be located within the mounting hole 241, it is convenient for the adhesive 29 to cover the welding area 224 when the adhesive 29 is injected into the mounting hole 241, which is beneficial to reducing the difficulty of assembling the battery cell 20.
[0182] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 6 , the maximum dimension of the welding area 224 in the radial direction of the mounting hole 241 is D1 , and the diameter of the mounting hole 241 is D2 , satisfying 1.5≤D2 / D1≤2.5.
[0183] Wherein, 1.5≤D2 / D1≤2.5, that is, the diameter of the mounting hole 241 is 1.5 to 2.5 times the maximum dimension of the welding area 224 in the radial direction of the mounting hole 241. For example, the diameter of the mounting hole 241 can be 1.5 times, 1.8 times, 2 times, 2.2 times, or 2.5 times the maximum dimension of the welding area 224 in the radial direction of the mounting hole 241.
[0184] By setting the ratio of the diameter of the mounting hole 241 to the radial size of the welding area 224 in the mounting hole 241 to 1.5 to 2.5, on the one hand, it can alleviate the phenomenon that the adhesive 29 cannot effectively cover the welding area 224 after being injected into the mounting hole 241 due to the ratio being too small, so as to ensure the covering effect of the adhesive 29 on the welding area 224. On the other hand, it can alleviate the phenomenon of turbulence of the adhesive 29 before solidification due to the ratio being too large, so as to reduce the interference effect of the adhesive 29 on other components inside the battery cell 20.
[0185] In some embodiments, the surface of the welding area 224 facing the adhesive 29 is a rough surface along the thickness direction X of the first wall. In other words, the surface of the welding area 224 facing the adhesive 29 is an uneven surface.
[0186] By setting the surface of the welding area 224 facing the adhesive 29 to a rough surface, it is helpful to improve the roughness of the surface where the welding area 224 and the adhesive 29 are bonded to each other, so as to increase the contact area between the adhesive 29 and the welding area 224, and then effectively improve the bonding firmness between the adhesive 29 and the welding area 224, so as to improve the connection stability and reliability of the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22 bracket.
[0187] In some embodiments, along the thickness direction X of the first wall, a plurality of printing grooves are provided on the surface where the current collecting member 222 and the adhesive member 29 are bonded to each other. The printing grooves are used to accommodate portions of the adhesive member 29. The specific structure of the printing grooves can be found in related art and will not be described in detail here.
[0188] By setting a plurality of printed grooves on the surface of the current collecting component 222 for bonding with the adhesive 29, it is helpful to improve the roughness of the surface where the current collecting component 222 and the adhesive 29 are bonded to each other, so as to increase the contact area between the adhesive 29 and the current collecting component 222, and further effectively improve the bonding firmness between the adhesive 29 and the current collecting component 222, so as to improve the connection stability and reliability of the insulating bracket 24 and the lead-out component 22 bracket.
[0189] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in Figures 4, 5 and 6, the battery cell 20 may further include a first insulating member 25, and at least a portion of the first insulating member 25 is arranged between the first wall 211 and the current collecting member 222 along the thickness direction X of the first wall to insulate and isolate the first wall 211 and the current collecting member 222.
[0190] In which, at least part of the first insulating part 25 is arranged between the first wall 211 and the current collecting component 222, that is, the first insulating part 25 has a part located between the first wall 211 and the current collecting component 222 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, so that the first insulating part 25 can play an insulating and isolating role for the first wall 211 and the current collecting component 222.
[0191] For example, the first insulating member 25 can be made of various materials, such as rubber, silicone, or plastic.
[0192] The battery cell 20 is also provided with a first insulating member 25. By arranging at least a portion of the first insulating member 25 between the first wall 211 and the current collecting member 222 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, the first wall 211 and the current collecting member 222 are insulated and isolated, which is beneficial to reduce the risk of short circuit between the first wall 211 and the current collecting member 222, thereby improving the safety of the battery cell 20.
[0193] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to FIG. 6 and further referring to FIG. 10 and FIG. 11 , FIG. 10 is a schematic structural diagram of a first insulating member 25 of a battery cell 20 according to some embodiments of the present application, and FIG. 11 is a schematic diagram of the connection between an insulating bracket 24 and the first insulating member 25 according to some embodiments of the present application. The first insulating member 25 includes an insulating body 251 and two second protrusions 252 . Along the thickness direction X of the first wall, the insulating body 251 is disposed between the first wall 211 and the current collecting member 222 . The two second protrusions 252 are disposed on the side of the insulating body 251 facing the current collecting member 222 . Along the first direction Y, the two second protrusions 252 are spaced apart, forming a receiving space 253 between the two second protrusions 252. The receiving space 253 is configured to accommodate at least a portion of the insulating bracket 24. The first direction Y is perpendicular to the thickness direction X of the first wall.
[0194] Among them, an accommodating space 253 is formed between the two second protrusions 252, and the accommodating space 253 is used to accommodate at least part of the insulating bracket 24, that is, the insulating bracket 24 is accommodated in the first direction Y between the two second protrusions 252 of the first insulating member 25 on the first surface 2521 and the first surface 2521.
[0195] The accommodating space 253 is used to accommodate at least part of the insulating bracket 24 , that is, in the thickness direction X of the first wall, the insulating bracket 24 can be entirely accommodated in the accommodating space 253 , or only part of the insulating bracket 24 can be accommodated in the accommodating space 253 .
[0196] By accommodating at least part of the insulating bracket 24 in the first surface 2521 of the accommodating space 253 formed between the two second protrusions 252 of the first insulating member 25, the insulating bracket 24 can be limited and positioned to a certain extent. On the one hand, it is convenient to assemble the insulating bracket 24 and can provide a certain protection for the insulating bracket 24. On the other hand, it can further reduce the movement of the insulating bracket 24 during the assembly or use of the battery cell 20, thereby reducing the risk of the insulating bracket 24 damaging the electrode assembly 23 due to movement, which is beneficial to improving the safety and service life of the battery cell 20.
[0197] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 6 and FIG. 11 , along the thickness direction X of the first wall, the second protrusion 252 has a first surface 2521 facing the main body 231 , and the insulating bracket 24 does not extend beyond the first surface 2521 .
[0198] The insulating bracket 24 does not extend beyond the first surface 2521, that is, the entire insulating bracket 24 is accommodated between the two second protrusions 252, so that no portion of the insulating bracket 24 extends beyond the first surface 2521 of the second protrusion 252 in the thickness direction X of the first wall. Of course, in other embodiments, the insulating bracket 24 may be partially accommodated between the two second protrusions 252, that is, a portion of the insulating bracket 24 extends beyond the first surface 2521 of the second protrusion 252 along the thickness direction X of the first wall.
[0199] By setting the insulating bracket 24 in the thickness direction X of the first wall so as not to exceed the first surface 2521 of the second protrusion 252 of the first insulating member 25, that is, the insulating bracket 24 is entirely accommodated in the accommodating space 253, on the one hand, the limiting effect of the first insulating member 25 on the insulating bracket 24 can be improved, and it is beneficial to improve the protective effect of the first insulating member 25 on the insulating bracket 24. On the other hand, it can save the space occupied by the first insulating member 25 and the insulating bracket 24, which is beneficial to optimize the internal space of the battery cell 20 and improve the internal space utilization rate of the battery cell 20.
[0200] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in Figures 5, 6, 7, and 10, the insulating bracket 24 includes a body portion 243 and a protrusion 244. The body portion 243 is accommodated in the accommodation space 253. The protrusion 244 protrudes from at least one end of the body portion 243 along the first direction Y. Along the thickness direction X of the first wall, the second protrusion 252 has a first surface 2521 facing the electrode assembly 23. The first surface 2521 is provided with a groove 2522. Along the first direction Y, the groove 2522 passes through the second protrusion 252 and communicates with the accommodation space 253. The protrusion 244 extends into the groove 2522, and the bottom surfaces of the groove 2522 abut against each other.
[0201] The mounting hole 241 is disposed on the main body portion 243 of the insulating bracket 24 and passes through both sides of the main body portion 243 along the thickness direction X of the first wall.
[0202] Along the first direction Y, the protrusion 244 protrudes from at least one end of the main body 243 , that is, the main body 243 may be provided with a protrusion 244 at one end in the first direction Y, or may be provided with protrusions 244 at both ends in the first direction Y. For example, in FIG5 and FIG7 , the insulating bracket 24 includes two protrusions 244 , and the two protrusions 244 are respectively provided at both ends of the main body 243 in the first direction Y.
[0203] Along the first direction Y, the groove 2522 passes through the second protrusion 252 and is connected to the accommodating space 253, and the protrusion 244 extends into the groove 2522, that is, the groove 2522 arranged on the first surface 2521 of the second protrusion 252 passes through the side of the second protrusion 252 facing the accommodating space 253 along the first direction Y, and enables the groove 2522 to be connected to the accommodating space 253, so that the protrusion 244 of the insulating bracket 24 can extend from the accommodating space 253 to the groove 2522.
[0204] Optionally, the main body 243 and the protrusion 244 can be an integral structure or a separate structure. If the main body 243 and the protrusion 244 are an integral structure, the protrusion 244 and the main body 243 can be manufactured using an integral molding process such as injection molding or extrusion molding to form the insulating bracket 24. If the main body 243 and the protrusion 244 are separate structures, the protrusion 244 can be connected to one end of the main body 243 in the first direction Y by bonding or snapping. For example, in the embodiment of the present application, the main body 243 and the protrusion 244 can be an integral structure.
[0205] It should be noted that, in an embodiment in which the lead-out component 22 includes an electrode terminal 221 and a current collecting component 222, and the first insulating component 25 is provided with two second protrusions 252 spaced apart along the first direction Y, and an accommodating space 253 is formed between the two second protrusions 252, the current collecting component 222 is provided between the main body 243 of the insulating bracket 24 and the insulating body 251 of the first insulating component 25 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, so as to play the role of insulating and isolating the current collecting component 222 and the first wall 211 through the first insulating component 25.
[0206] By setting a groove 2522 on the first surface 2521 of the second protrusion 252 facing the main body 231, and the groove 2522 passes through one side of the second protrusion 252 along the first direction Y and is connected with the accommodating space 253, the second protrusion 252 is a stepped structure, so that the main body 243 of the insulating bracket 24 is accommodated in the accommodating space 253, and the protrusion 244 of the insulating bracket 24 is set to extend into the groove 2522, and the protrusion 244 is against the bottom surface of the groove 2522, so that the second protrusion 252 can play a certain limiting and positioning role on the insulating bracket 24 in the thickness direction X of the first wall, so as to improve the assembly quality between the insulating bracket 24 and the first insulating member 25, and help reduce the difficulty of assembly.
[0207] According to some embodiments of the present application, referring to Figures 6, 10, and 11, and further referring to Figure 12, Figure 12 is a bottom view of an insulating bracket 24 connected to a first insulating member 25 according to some embodiments of the present application. The protrusion 244 of the insulating bracket 24 is spaced apart from the side surface of the groove 2522, and the distance L between the protrusion 244 of the insulating bracket 24 and the side surface of the groove 2522 satisfies the condition 0.8 mm ≤ L ≤ 2 mm.
[0208] Among them, the protrusion 244 of the insulating bracket 24 is spaced apart from the side surface of the groove 2522, that is, in the direction perpendicular to the thickness direction X of the first wall, there is a gap between the protrusion 244 of the insulating bracket 24 and the side surface of the groove 2522, and the size of the gap is 0.8mm to 2mm.
[0209] For example, the distance L between the protrusion 244 of the insulating bracket 24 and the side surface of the groove 2522 can be 0.8 mm, 1 mm, 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, 1.8 mm or 2 mm.
[0210] By setting the distance between the protrusion 244 of the insulating bracket 24 and the side surface of the groove 2522 to 0.8 mm to 2 mm, on the one hand, it can alleviate the phenomenon that the distance between the protrusion 244 of the insulating bracket 24 accommodated in the groove 2522 and the side surface of the groove 2522 is too small, resulting in the insulation bracket 24 being assembled into the accommodating space 253 and the groove 2522 being too difficult and the assembly precision requirement being too high, thereby reducing the assembly difficulty between the insulating bracket 24 and the first insulating part 25 to improve the assembly efficiency. On the other hand, it can alleviate the phenomenon that the distance between the protrusion 244 of the insulating bracket 24 and the side surface of the groove 2522 is too large, resulting in the groove 2522 having poor limiting and positioning effect on the insulating bracket 24.
[0211] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in Figures 4, 5 and 6, along the thickness direction X of the first wall, the lead-out component 22 is located on the side of the insulating bracket 24 away from the main body 231, and the tab 232 is bent around the insulating bracket 24 and connected to the lead-out component 22.
[0212] Among them, the lead-out component 22 includes an electrode terminal 221 and a current collecting component 222 that are connected to each other. The electrode terminal 221 is installed on the first wall 211, and the current collecting component 222 is arranged between the electrode terminal 221 and the insulating bracket 24 in the thickness direction X of the first wall. The current collecting component 222 serves to connect the electrode tab 232 and the electrode terminal 221 to achieve electrical connection between the electrode assembly 23 and the electrode terminal 221.
[0213] The pole tab 232 is bent around the insulating bracket 24 and connected to the current collecting component 222 of the lead-out component 22, that is, the pole tab 232 is bent around the insulating bracket 24 from one end of the main body 231 and connected to the current collecting component 222 located on the side of the insulating bracket 24 away from the main body 231, so as to reduce the phenomenon of the pole tab 232 being inserted upside down into the main body 231, which is beneficial to reducing the short circuit risk of the battery cell 20.
[0214] Illustratively, the tab 232 is bent around the main body 243 of the insulating bracket 24 and connected to the current collecting member 222 of the lead-out component 22 to achieve electrical connection between the electrode assembly 23 and the electrode terminal 221 .
[0215] It should be noted that, in other embodiments, the tab 232 may also be configured as a structure that is not bent around the insulating bracket 24, that is, the tab 232 is located on the side of the insulating bracket 24 facing the main body 231 in the thickness direction X of the first wall. In this embodiment, it is only necessary to connect a connector between the current collecting component 222 and the tab 232 to achieve electrical connection between the current collecting component 222 and the tab 232. The connector may be a wire, a U-shaped connecting piece, an L-shaped connecting piece, etc.
[0216] By setting the pole ear 232 to a structure that is bent around the insulating bracket 24 and then connected to the lead-out component 22, the electrode assembly 23 and the lead-out component 22 are electrically connected, thereby enabling the input or output of electrical energy of the battery cell 20. The battery cell 20 using this structure makes the part where the pole ear 232 is connected to the lead-out component 22 be located on the side of the insulating bracket 24 away from the main body 231, thereby effectively alleviating the phenomenon of the pole ear 232 being upside down inserted into the main body 231 of the electrode assembly 23 during assembly or use, which is beneficial to reducing the short circuit risk of the battery cell 20 and improving the safety of the battery cell 20. In addition, since the insulating bracket 24 is fixedly connected to the lead-out component 22, the insulating bracket 24 can effectively reduce the phenomenon of movement or displacement during the use of the battery cell 20, and thus can effectively reduce the risk of the insulating bracket 24 destroying the shape of the pole ear 232 or damaging the pole ear 232 due to movement, thereby alleviating the short circuit between the pole ear 232 and other components or the connection failure between the electrode assembly 23 and the lead-out component 22, which is beneficial to improving the safety of use and service life of the battery cell 20.
[0217] According to some embodiments of the present application, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, the housing 21 includes a shell 212 and an end cap 213. The shell 212 has an interior formed with an accommodating cavity having an opening 2121, and the electrode assembly 23 is accommodated in the accommodating cavity. The end cap 213 closes the opening 2121 and serves as the first wall 211.
[0218] The end cover 213 is the first wall 211 , that is, the lead-out component 22 is connected to the end cover 213 , and the first insulating member 25 and the insulating bracket 24 are arranged between the end cover 213 and the main body 231 of the electrode assembly 23 in the thickness direction X of the first wall.
[0219] The first wall 211 for installing the lead-out component 22 is an end cover 213 for closing the opening 2121 of the shell 212. This structure facilitates the assembly of the lead-out component 22 on the first wall 211 and facilitates the connection of the insulating bracket 24 to the lead-out component 22, thereby reducing the difficulty of assembling the battery cell 20, thereby helping to improve the production efficiency of the battery cell 20.
[0220] It should be noted that the structure of the battery cell 20 is not limited to this. In some embodiments, the battery cell 20 can also have other structures. For example, the outer shell 21 includes a shell 212 and an end cap 213. The shell 212 includes an integrally formed side wall and a first wall 211. The side wall is arranged around the first wall 211. Along the thickness direction X of the first wall, one end of the side wall is connected to the first wall 211, and the other end is enclosed to form an opening 2121. The side wall and the first wall 211 jointly define a receiving cavity for accommodating the electrode assembly 23, and the end cap 213 closes the opening 2121. In other words, the first wall 211 is the bottom wall of the shell 212, which is arranged opposite to the end cap 213 in the thickness direction X of the first wall. That is, the lead-out component is mounted on the bottom wall of the shell 212, which is arranged opposite to the end cap 213 in the thickness direction X of the first wall.
[0221] The shell 212 includes an integrally formed side wall and a first wall 211 , that is, the shell 212 is made using an integral molding process, such as stamping, casting or extrusion molding, that is, the side wall and the first wall 211 of the shell 212 are an integral structure.
[0222] The first wall 211 for mounting the lead-out component 22 is a wall of the shell 212 that is arranged opposite to the end cover 213 in the thickness direction X of the first wall. This structure enables the first wall 211 equipped with the lead-out component 22 to be away from the end cover 213 of the shell 21, so that there is no direct connection between the first wall 211 and the end cover 213, thereby reducing the force generated by the pulling or twisting of the first wall 211 by the lead-out component 22 acting on the end cover 213, thereby reducing the risk of connection failure between the end cover 213 and the shell 212, and further helping to further reduce the risk of leakage of the battery cell 20 during use.

[0224] The battery 100 may further include a box body 10 , in which the battery cells 20 are accommodated.

For example, in FIG2 , the battery 100 includes multiple battery cells 20, and the multiple battery cells 20 are housed in the housing 10.
