Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to an air conditioning device for transferring air between an outdoor unit and an indoor unit. Background Art
[0002] In recent years, air conditioners that supply outdoor air from an outdoor unit to an indoor unit via a cylindrical air duct have become widely popular. For example, the air conditioner described in Patent Document 1 (Japanese Patent Publication No. 2004-69173) can perform air conditioning such as humidification or ventilation by conveying outdoor air to the room.
[0003] In such an air conditioner, the sound of the fan that supplies air may propagate through the air delivery path and leak into the room. Therefore, a muffler is provided in the air passage through which the air delivered to the indoor unit passes. Summary of the invention
[0004] Problems to be solved by the invention
[0005] However, even if a silencer is provided in the air passage, the longer the distance between the sound source and the silencer, the lower the silencing effect. Therefore, there is a problem that it is necessary to provide a silencer arrangement and structure that contributes to improving the silencing effect of the silencer.
[0006] Means for solving problems
[0007] The air conditioner of the first aspect is an air conditioner that supplies outdoor air from an outdoor unit to an indoor unit, wherein the air conditioner includes a fan, an air duct, and a muffler. The air supplied by the fan passes through the air duct. The muffler reduces the sound propagating in the air duct when connected to the air duct. A part of the muffler is arranged inside the outdoor unit.
[0008] In this air conditioner, the silencer is connected to the air passage inside the outdoor unit close to the sound source, so the noise reduction effect is improved.
[0009] The air conditioner according to the second aspect is the air conditioner according to the first aspect, wherein the silencer includes a first silencer and a second silencer. The first silencer is disposed inside the outdoor unit. The second silencer is disposed outside the outdoor unit.
[0010] In this air conditioner, the silencer is connected to the air passage inside the outdoor unit close to the sound source, and the volume is increased by the first silencer section and the second silencer section, so the silencer effect is further improved.
[0011] The air conditioning device of the third aspect is, based on the air conditioning device of the second aspect, the silencer further includes a duct connecting the first silencer and the second silencer. The duct has a first end connected to the first silencer and a second end connected to the second silencer. The first end and the second end are offset in the horizontal direction.
[0012] In this air conditioning device, since the first silencer and the second silencer of the silencer are separated and connected by a pipe, the positions of the first silencer and the second silencer can be selected with greater freedom than in a structure in which the first silencer and the second silencer are integrated.
[0013] For example, in the case of an integrated type, when the position of the first muffler is changed, the position of the second muffler must also be changed. In the case of a separate type, even if the position of the first muffler is changed, the position of the second muffler may not be changed if the pipe is changed. Alternatively, the pipe may be changed to change only the position of the second muffler without changing the position of the first muffler.
[0014] The air conditioner according to a fourth aspect is the air conditioner according to the third aspect, wherein a cross section of the duct perpendicular to the air flow direction is smaller than that of the first silencer and the second silencer. The duct passes through a side surface of the outdoor unit.
[0015] In this air conditioning apparatus, a hole large enough to allow the duct to pass through is only required to be provided on the side surface of the outdoor unit, so that the side surface shape of the outdoor unit can be simplified compared to a case where the first silencer and the second silencer are integrated.
[0016] An air conditioning apparatus according to a fifth aspect is the air conditioning apparatus according to the third aspect or the fourth aspect, wherein the duct has a curved portion on a path from the first end to the second end.
[0017] In this air conditioner, since the duct has the bent portion, it is easier to position the first silencer and the second silencer, compared with a configuration in which the path from the first silencer to the second silencer is formed into a straight pipe shape.
[0018] For example, even when it is desired to move the position of the second muffler portion, this can be adjusted by adjusting the degree of bending of the duct, so there is no need to redesign the shape of the entire muffler.
[0019] The air conditioning apparatus according to a sixth aspect is the air conditioning apparatus according to the third aspect or the fourth aspect, wherein the cross section of the duct perpendicular to the air flow direction becomes smaller as it approaches the second end.
[0020] The air conditioning device of the seventh aspect is the air conditioning device according to any one of the second to sixth aspects, wherein the interior of the outdoor unit is partitioned into a first chamber in which a compressor serving as a heat source is disposed, and a second chamber adjacent to the first chamber. A portion of the first muffler is accommodated in the first chamber. In this air conditioning device, condensation inside the first muffler is suppressed by the heat of the compressor.
[0021] The air conditioner of the eighth aspect is the air conditioner of the second aspect, wherein the first muffler is arranged so as to straddle the side surface of the outdoor unit. In this air conditioner, the volume of the first muffler is increased, so the muffler effect is improved.
[0022] The air conditioner of the ninth aspect is the air conditioner of any one of the second to eighth aspects, wherein the volume of the first muffler is larger than the volume of the second muffler. In the air conditioner, the muffler effect is improved by increasing the volume of the first muffler near the sound source.
[0023] The air conditioner of a tenth aspect is the air conditioner of the first aspect or the second aspect, wherein a communication portion through which a part of the muffler passes is formed on a side surface of the outdoor unit. The muffler has a flange covering a gap between the muffler and the communication portion.
[0024] In this air conditioning device, the flange covers the gap between the muffler and the communicating portion, so that even if flames attempt to propagate through the gap, the flange functions as a fire barrier. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

The cross flow fan 12 is configured in a cylindrical shape, and a plurality of blades are provided on the circumference. The cross flow fan 12 generates an air flow in a direction intersecting with the rotation axis. The cross flow fan 12 sucks indoor air into the interior of the indoor unit 2, and blows the air that has undergone heat exchange with the indoor heat exchanger 11 into the room.
[0047] (1-2) Outdoor unit 3
[0048] The outdoor unit 3 includes an air conditioning outdoor unit 5, a humidifying unit 4, and an air supply and exhaust path including a muffler 70. [0052] (2) Structure of Air Conditioning Outdoor Unit 5
[0053] Figure 3 2 is an exploded perspective view showing the structure of the outdoor unit 3. Figure 1 and Figure 3 In the embodiment, the air-conditioning outdoor unit 5 includes refrigerant circuit components and a casing 50 that accommodates the refrigerant circuit components.
[0054] (2-1) Housing 50
[0055] The housing 50 is formed of a front panel 51 , a right side panel 52 , a left side panel 53 , and a metal bottom panel 54 .
[0056] The front surface panel 51 is a resin component that covers the front surface of the air conditioning outdoor unit 5. The front surface panel 51 is arranged at a position downstream of the outdoor heat exchanger 24 in the flow direction of the air passing through the outdoor heat exchanger 24. The front surface panel 51 has a blow-out port 51a. The blow-out port 51a is a plurality of slit-shaped openings. The air that has passed through the outdoor heat exchanger 24 is blown out from the inside of the air conditioning outdoor unit 5 to the outside of the outdoor unit 3 through the blow-out port 51a. In addition, a first bell mouth 56 and a partition plate 57 are installed behind the front surface panel 51.
[0057] The partition plate 57 divides the interior of the casing 50 into two parts: a machine room 50 a in which the compressor 21 is arranged, and a blower room 50 b in which the propeller fan 29 is arranged.
[0058] The right side plate 52 and the left side plate 53 are metal parts covering the sides of the air conditioning outdoor unit 5. Here, the right side plate 52 is provided on the right side of the outdoor unit 3 when viewed from the front. The left side plate 53 is provided on the left side of the outdoor unit 3 when viewed from the front.
[0059] The right plate 52 and the left plate 53 are provided substantially parallel to the blowing direction of the blown air from the blowout port 51a. In addition, a cover 55 is attached to the right plate 52. The cover 55 protects the liquid stop valve 27 and the gas stop valve 28.
[0060] (2-2) Refrigerant Circuit Components
[0061] The casing 50 accommodates the compressor 21, the four-way switching valve 22, the accumulator 23, the outdoor heat exchanger 24, and the electric valve 25 as components of the refrigerant circuit (see Figure 2 The compressor 21 , the four-way switching valve 22 , the accumulator 23 , and the electric valve 25 are arranged in the machine chamber 50 a between the partition plate 57 and the right side plate 52 .
[0062] like Figure 2 As shown, the four-way switching valve 22 is connected to the discharge side of the compressor 21. The accumulator 23 is connected to the suction side of the compressor 21.
[0063] The outdoor heat exchanger 24 has a substantially L-shape in a plan view. The outdoor heat exchanger 24 is disposed in front of a protective metal mesh (not shown) covering the back surface of the air-conditioning outdoor unit 5 .
[0064] One end of the electric valve 25 is connected to the outdoor heat exchanger 24 , and the other end of the electric valve 25 is connected to one end of the indoor heat exchanger 11 via the filter 26 , the liquid stop valve 27 , and the refrigerant pipe 32 .
[0065] The four-way switching valve 22 is connected to the other end of the indoor heat exchanger 11 via the gas shutoff valve 28 and the refrigerant pipe 31. The refrigerant pipes 31 and 32 form a collective connection pipe 7 together with the gas supply and exhaust hose 6.
[0066] The air conditioning outdoor unit 5 further includes a propeller fan 29. The propeller fan 29 is provided in the blower chamber 50b between the partition plate 57 and the left side plate 53 in front of the outdoor heat exchanger 24. The propeller fan 29 is driven to rotate by the outdoor fan motor 30. The propeller fan 29 causes the air taken into the air conditioning outdoor unit 5 to come into contact with the outdoor heat exchanger 24 and then be discharged from the air outlet 51a to the front of the front surface panel 51.
[0067] like Figure 3 As shown in FIG. 1 , the air conditioning outdoor unit 5 further includes an electric component unit 58. The electric component unit 58 is disposed on the upper portion of the air conditioning outdoor unit 5. The electric component unit 58 includes an electric component box and a CPU 91 (see FIG. 1 ) for controlling each part. Figure 2 ) of the printed circuit board. A fireproof board 59 is installed above the electrical component unit 58.
[0068] (3) Structure of the humidifying unit 4
[0069] The humidification unit 4 has humidification function, air supply function and exhaust function. Figure 3 As shown, the humidifying unit 4 includes a housing 40 , a moisture absorption rotor 41 , a heater 42 , an air supply and exhaust fan 43 , a switching damper 44 , an adsorption duct 45 , an adsorption fan 46 , a rotor drive motor 47 , a rotor drive gear 48 and a heater support plate 49 .
[0070] (3-1) Housing 40
[0071] The housing 40 covers the front, rear, and both sides of the humidifying unit 4 . The upper portion of the housing 40 is covered by a top plate 66 .
[0072] The casing 40 is arranged to be in contact with the upper part of the air conditioning outdoor unit 5. The casing 40 has an adsorption outlet 40a on its front surface. The adsorption outlet 40a is a plurality of slit-shaped openings. Air is blown out to the outside of the outdoor unit 3 through the adsorption outlet 40a.
[0073] In addition, a suction port 40b and an air supply and exhaust port 40c are arranged side by side in the left-right direction on the back side of the housing 40. When viewed from the front side, the suction port 40b is arranged on the left side, and the air supply and exhaust port 40c is arranged on the right side.
[0074] Outdoor air is taken in through the adsorption inlet 40b and guided to the moisture absorption rotor 41. Moisture contained in the outdoor air is absorbed by the moisture absorption rotor 41. The air supply and exhaust port 40c allows air sent to the indoor unit 2 to pass through, or allows air exhausted from the indoor unit 2 to pass through.
[0075] The housing 40 has two spaces on the left and right inside. The moisture absorption rotor 41 and the like are accommodated in the space on the right, and the adsorption fan 46 and the like are accommodated in the space on the left. The space on the left is referred to as an adsorption fan accommodation space SP1.
[0076] A moisture absorption rotor 41 , a heater 42 , an air supply and exhaust fan 43 , a switching damper 44 , an adsorption duct 45 , and an adsorption fan 46 are arranged in the casing 40 .
[0077] (3-2) Moisture absorbing rotor 41
[0078] The moisture absorption rotor 41 is a ceramic rotor having a disk-shaped honeycomb structure, and air can easily pass through the moisture absorption rotor 41. The moisture absorption rotor 41 has a plurality of polygonal cylindrical portions in a cross section taken perpendicularly to the rotation axis, and air passes through the cylindrical portions.
[0079] The main part of the moisture absorbing rotor 41 is formed by calcining an adsorbent such as zeolite, silica gel or alumina. The adsorbent such as zeolite has the property of adsorbing moisture in the air it contacts and releasing the adsorbed moisture when heated.
[0080] The moisture absorption rotor 41 is rotatably supported by a support shaft 40d provided on the housing 40. A gear is formed on the circumferential surface of the moisture absorption rotor 41, and the gear meshes with a rotor drive gear 48 attached to the drive shaft of the rotor drive motor 47.
[0081] (3-3) Heater 42
[0082] The heater 42 is arranged so as to cover approximately half (the right half) of the upper surface of the moisture absorption rotor 41. An inlet and an outlet are formed on the lower surface of the heater 42. Air is inhaled from the inlet. The air heated by the heater 42 is discharged from the outlet to the moisture absorption rotor 41. The heater 42 is mounted above the moisture absorption rotor 41 via a heater support plate 49.
[0083] (3-4) Air supply and exhaust fan 43
[0084] The air supply and exhaust fan 43 is disposed on the side of the moisture absorption rotor 41. The air supply and exhaust fan 43 sends air taken in from the outside to the indoor unit 2, or exhausts air taken in from the indoor unit 2 to the outside.
[0085] The air supply and exhaust fan 43 switches between the air supply operation and the exhaust operation by switching the switch damper 44. When the air supply and exhaust fan 43 delivers outdoor air to the indoor unit 2, the air that has passed through the moisture absorption rotor 41 and has fallen from a predetermined portion of the moisture absorption rotor 41 is directed to the first duct 61 (see FIG. Figure 2 ) sent out.
[0086] like Figure 2 As shown, the air supply and exhaust fan 43 and the indoor unit 2 are connected via an air supply and exhaust path formed by a first duct 61, a muffler 70, a second duct 62, and an air supply and exhaust hose 6. The air supply and exhaust fan 43 supplies air to the indoor unit 2 via the air supply and exhaust path.
[0087] When discharging indoor air to the outside, the air supply and exhaust fan 43 discharges the air sent from the first duct 61 to the outside from an air supply and exhaust port 40 c provided on the back surface of the casing 40 .
[0088] (3-5) Switching damper 44
[0089] The switching damper 44 is a rotary air flow path switching unit disposed below the air supply and exhaust fan 43 , and switches between a first state and a second state.
[0090] In the first state, the air blown out from the air supply and exhaust fan 43 is supplied to the indoor unit 2 through the air supply and exhaust path. Figure 2 The humidified air or the outdoor air flows in the direction of the arrow indicated by the solid arrow A1 , and the humidified air or the outdoor air is supplied to the indoor unit 2 .
[0091] In the second state, the air Figure 2 The air from the indoor unit 2 flows in the direction of the arrow indicated by the dotted arrow A2, and the air is discharged to the outside from the air supply and exhaust fan 43 through the air supply and exhaust port 40c.
[0092] (3-6) Adsorption pipe 45
[0093] The adsorption duct 45 covers the portion of the upper surface of the moisture absorption rotor 41 where the heater 42 is not located. The adsorption duct 45 and the second bell mouth 63 form an air flow path from the upper surface of the left half of the moisture absorption rotor 41 to the upper portion of the adsorption fan storage space SP1.
[0094] (3-7) Adsorption fan 46
[0095] The adsorption fan 46 is disposed in the adsorption fan storage space SP1. The adsorption fan 46 is a centrifugal fan. The adsorption fan 46 is rotated by the adsorption fan motor 65. The adsorption fan 46 sucks air from the opening 63a of the second bell mouth 63 disposed at the upper portion, and generates an airflow that flows from the adsorption suction port 40b to the opening 63a via the moisture absorption rotor 41.
[0096] The adsorption fan 46 discharges dry air having absorbed moisture when passing through the moisture absorption rotor 41 from the adsorption outlet 40a toward the front of the housing 40. The second bell mouth 63 is provided at the upper portion of the adsorption fan storage space SP1 and guides the air passing through the adsorption duct 45 to the adsorption fan 46.
[0097] (4) Operation of the humidifying unit 4
[0098] Figure 4 4 is a schematic diagram of the humidification unit 4. Figure 5 Schematic diagram of the air flow in the moisture absorption rotor 41. Figure 4 and Figure 5In the figure, for the sake of convenience, the air passage from the adsorption suction port 40b to the adsorption fan 46 is called the moisture absorption passage X, the air passage from the air supply and exhaust port 40c to the heater 42 is called the heat collection passage Y, and the air passage from the heater 42 to the air supply and exhaust fan 43 is called the humidification passage Z.
[0099] (4-1) Humidification action
[0100] The humidifying unit 4 operates the adsorption fan 46 to take outdoor air from the adsorption inlet 40b into the moisture absorption passage X. The air Ax flowing in the moisture absorption passage X passes through the first region Rx of the moisture absorption rotor 41 facing the moisture absorption passage X, and moisture in the air Ax is absorbed in the first region Rx.
[0101] The air Ax passes through the adsorption fan 46 and is discharged from the adsorption fan storage space SP1 to the front of the outdoor unit 3 through the adsorption outlet 40a.
[0102] In addition, the humidifying unit 4 rotates the air supply and exhaust fan 43 to take outdoor air from the air supply and exhaust port 40c into the heat collection passage Y. The air Ay flowing in the heat collection passage Y is heated by the heater 42 after passing through the second region Ry of the moisture absorption rotor 41 facing the heat collection passage Y. The air Ay is heated by the heater 42 to become high-temperature air Az, and flows into the humidification passage Z. The high-temperature air Az passes through the third region Rz of the moisture absorption rotor 41 facing the humidification passage Z and flows into the first duct 61.
[0103] The air Ay flowing through the heat extraction passage Y recovers heat from the second region Ry when passing through the second region Ry of the moisture absorption rotor 41 and its temperature rises, and then is further heated by the heater 42 to become high-temperature air Az. The high-temperature air Az flowing through the humidification passage Z absorbs moisture from the third region Rz when passing through the third region Rz of the moisture absorption rotor 41.
[0104] like Figure 5 As shown, the moisture absorption rotor 41 rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow D, and sequentially passes through the moisture absorption passage X, the humidification passage Z, and the heat collection passage Y. As a result, in the moisture absorption rotor 41, the first region Rx of the moisture absorption rotor 41 facing the moisture absorption passage X, the third region Rz of the moisture absorption rotor 41 facing the humidification passage Z, and the second region Ry of the moisture absorption rotor 41 facing the heat collection passage Y sequentially move over.
[0105] The moisture adsorbed by the moisture absorption rotor 41 from the air Ax in the moisture absorption passage X is released by the high-temperature air Az heated by the heater 42, and the high-temperature air Az is humidified.
[0106] The air supply and exhaust fan 43 sends the air that has passed through the moisture absorption rotor 41 to the indoor unit 2 via the air supply and exhaust path. The air sent to the indoor unit 2 contains moisture absorbed by the moisture absorption rotor 41.
[0107] The air supplied from the humidifying unit 4 to the indoor unit 2 in this manner is blown into the room via the indoor heat exchanger 11 .
[0108] (4-2) Ventilation action
[0109] The air conditioner 1 does not operate the adsorption fan motor 65 or the heater 42, and can only supply outdoor air without humidification and send it to the indoor unit 2. Alternatively, the air conditioner 1 may only exhaust indoor air to the outside.
[0110] (5) Details of the air supply and exhaust path including the muffler 70
[0111] The air supply and exhaust path is composed of the first duct 61, the muffler 70, the second duct 62, and the air supply and exhaust hose 6. The humidifying unit 4 and the indoor unit 2 are connected by the air supply and exhaust path, and the air supply and exhaust fan 43 supplies air to the indoor unit 2 via the air supply and exhaust path.
[0112] Fig. 6A 1 is a partial front view of the outdoor unit 3 of the air-conditioning apparatus 1 according to the first embodiment. Figure 6B yes Fig. 6A This is a right side view of the outdoor unit 3 shown.
[0113] exist Fig. 6A and Figure 6B In the figure, for convenience of explanation, the cover 55 is indicated by an imaginary line (two-dot chain line), and the right side plate 52 can be seen through the cover 55. Fig. 6A The outdoor unit 3 described above is partially shown in a cross-sectional view for the purpose of understanding the internal structure.
[0114] Also, regarding the "directions" used in the instructions, follow Fig. 6A The directions marked by arrows in the four directions of "up", "down", "left" and "right", and Figure 6B The directions are marked by arrows in the four directions of "up", "down", "forward" and "backward".
[0115] (5-1) First pipeline 61
[0116] The first duct 61 is a cylindrical air passage through which the air supplied by the air supply and exhaust fan 43 flows. The first duct 61 is located inside the outdoor unit 3 and is connected to the switching damper 44 disposed below the air supply and exhaust fan 43. A muffler 70 is connected to the terminal end of the first duct 61.
[0117] (5-2) Muffler 70
[0118] The silencer 70 reduces the sound propagating in the first duct 61 when outdoor air is supplied from the outdoor unit 3 to the indoor unit 2. Also, the silencer 70 reduces the sound propagating in the second duct 62 when air is discharged from the indoor unit 2 to the outdoor unit 3.
[0119] Figure 7 2 is a perspective view of the appearance of the muffler 70. Figure 7 In the embodiment of the present invention, the silencer 70 can be divided into a first silencer portion 71 and a second silencer portion 72 .
[0120] The first muffler 71 has a larger volume than the second muffler 72, and a portion thereof is disposed in the machine room 50a inside the outdoor unit 3, and the remaining portion thereof penetrates the right side plate 52 and is accommodated between the right side plate 52 and the cover 55 (see Fig. 6A ).
[0121] Since a part of the first muffler portion 71 is accommodated in the machine chamber 50 a , condensation inside the first muffler portion 71 is suppressed by the heat of the compressor 21 .
[0122] The second muffler 72 is continuously connected to a portion of the first muffler 71 that is accommodated between the right side plate 52 and the cover 55. The second muffler 72 is also accommodated between the right side plate 52 and the cover 55.
[0123] In the silencer 70, as Fig. 6A and Figure 6B As shown, the first connection portion 711 as the upper end of the first muffler 71 is connected to the terminal end of the first pipe 61 extending from the humidifying unit 4 inside the outdoor unit 3. After passing through the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3, the first muffler 71 is seamlessly connected to the second muffler 72. The second muffler 72 extends vertically downward to reach the second connection portion 722 as the lower end.
[0124] The silencer 70 has a larger volume by including the first silencer 71 and the second silencer 72, and the volume of the first silencer 71 connected to the vicinity of the sound source is larger than the volume of the second silencer 72, so the noise reduction effect is improved. However, this is not limited to this, and the volume of the second silencer 72 may be larger than the volume of the first silencer 71.
[0125] The silencer 70 includes a silencer body 700 constituting a main body of the first silencer portion 71 and the second silencer portion 72 , a first connection portion 711 connected to the first duct 61 , and a second connection portion 722 connected to the second duct 62 .
[0126] (5-2-1) Muffler body 700
[0127] Figure 8 70 is a longitudinal sectional view of the muffler. Figure 8 In the embodiment, the silencer body 700 has an outer shell 700a as a casing. The silencer body 700 further has a sound absorbing material 700b and a cavity 700c surrounded by the sound absorbing material 700b inside the outer shell 700a.
[0128] As a material of the sound absorbing material 700b, felt, foamed polyurethane, etc. Since the cavity 700c is connected to the first duct 61, the air sent to the indoor unit 2 or the air sent from the indoor unit 2 passes through the cavity 700c.
[0129] In the air conditioner 1, the sound generated by the air supply and exhaust fan 43 is reduced by the muffler 70 connected to the first duct 61 of the outdoor unit 3 before being transmitted to the indoor unit 2. Therefore, in the air conditioner 1, the sound transmitted from the outdoor unit 3 to the indoor unit 2 is reduced.
[0130] The first connection portion 711 protrudes vertically upward from the top plate 700d of the housing 700a, and the second connection portion 722 protrudes vertically downward from the bottom plate 700e of the housing 700a.
[0131] (5-2-2) First connection portion 711
[0132] like Figure 7 As shown, the first connection part 711 is cylindrical. The first connection part 711 is provided with a protrusion 711a and a slit 711b. The protrusion 711a is rectangular and protrudes radially from the outer peripheral surface. The slit 711b is recessed from the upper end surface of the first connection part 711 toward vertically downward.
[0133] The first duct 61 connected to the first connecting portion 711 is provided with a recess (not shown) engaged with the protrusion 711a and a protrusion (not shown) engaged with the slit 711b. The protrusion 711a and the slit 711b function as "positioning" and "rotation-stopping" components.
[0134] (5-2-3) Second connection portion 722
[0135] like Figure 7 As shown in FIG. 1 , the second connecting portion 722 is cylindrical. Fig. 6A and Fig. 6A As shown, the second connection portion 722 is located above the liquid shutoff valve 27 and the gas shutoff valve 28 .
[0136] In addition, the first connection portion 711 and the second connection portion 722 not only have a height difference from the top plate 700d to the bottom plate 700e, but also the central axis C2 of the second connection portion 722 is offset to the right from the central axis C1 of the first connection portion 711.
[0137] According to the above structure, in the muffler 70, the internal path from the first connection part 711 to the second connection part 722 is shaped to be inclined downward toward the second connection part 722 and then extend vertically downward. As a result, the internal path from the first connection part 711 to the second connection part 722 is longer than the conventional muffler having an internal path that simply extends vertically downward. Therefore, the volume of the muffler body 700 is increased, and the silencing effect is improved.
[0138] (5-3) Second pipeline 62
[0139] like Figure 6B As shown, the second duct 62 is a cylindrical air passage, and is connected to the second connection portion 722 of the muffler 70. The second duct 62 guides the air flowing from the first duct 61 into the muffler 70 further downstream.
[0140] The second connection portion 722 is separated from the liquid stop valve 27 and the gas stop valve 28 along the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3. Therefore, a space for arranging the second pipe 62 is ensured between the second connection portion 722 and the liquid stop valve 27 and the gas stop valve 28.
[0141] Moreover, the second duct 62 has a bent portion 62 a. The bent portion 62 a is bent toward the back side of the outdoor unit 3 along the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3 .
[0142] More specifically, in the outdoor unit 3, a front panel 51 (see Figure 3 ) is defined as the "front side", and an outdoor heat exchanger 24 having a substantially L-shaped structure (see Figure 3 ) is defined as the “back side”, and the second duct 62 is bent toward the back side along the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3 through the bent portion 62a.
[0143] Therefore, the air supply and exhaust path can be configured to have a structure in which the second duct 62 is folded back toward the back side of the outdoor unit 3 at the downstream side of the muffler 70 through the bent portion 62 a.
[0144] In the present embodiment, the direction in which the second pipe 62 extends from the bent portion 62 a is along the direction in which the refrigerant pipes 31 and 32 extend.
[0145] (5-4) Air supply and exhaust hose 6
[0146] The air supply and exhaust hose 6 is connected to the second duct 62, and can transport air between the outdoor unit 3 and the indoor unit 2. When outdoor air is supplied from the outdoor unit 3, the air supply and exhaust hose 6 guides the outdoor air to the indoor unit 2. In addition, when air is exhausted from the indoor unit 2 to the outdoor unit 3, the air supply and exhaust hose 6 guides the air to the outdoor unit 3.
[0147] In the present embodiment, the second duct 62 and the air supply and exhaust hose 6 are provided separately, but the second duct 62 and the air supply and exhaust hose 6 may be formed integrally.
[0148] As described above, the air supply and exhaust path is structured so that the second pipe 62 is folded back toward the back side of the outdoor unit 3 at the downstream side of the muffler 70 by the curved portion 62a of the second pipe 62. Therefore, it is easy to make the second pipe 62 run along the refrigerant pipes 31 and 32 connected to the liquid stop valve 27 and the gas stop valve 28, and it is easy to bundle the second pipe 62 and / or the air supply and exhaust hose 6 with the refrigerant pipes 31 and 32 when installing the product. In the present embodiment, the angle formed by the refrigerant pipes 31 and 32 and the straight pipe portion of the second pipe 62 adjacent to the refrigerant pipes 31 and 32 is 20 degrees or less.
[0149] As described above, in the air conditioning device 1 of the first embodiment, by providing the silencer 70 on the air supply and exhaust path, it is possible to reduce the air supply sound per unit air volume heard from the air outlet side of the indoor unit 2. In addition, while maintaining the same air supply sound as that of the air conditioning device without the silencer 70, the air conditioning device 1 of the first embodiment can increase the air supply volume of the air supply and exhaust fan 43.
[0150] Therefore, the air supply amount can be simply increased without causing the user to feel a change in the air blowing sound. Specifically, in the air conditioning device 1 of the first embodiment, the air supply amount per unit time is expected to increase by about 20%.
[0151] (6) Features
[0152] (6-1)
[0153] In the air conditioner 1, a part of the muffler 70 for reducing the sound propagating in the first duct 61 while being connected to the first duct 61 is arranged inside the outdoor unit 3. Since the muffler 70 is arranged inside the outdoor unit 3 close to the sound source, the muffler effect is improved.
[0154] (6-2)
[0155] In the air conditioning device 1, the silencer 70 includes a first silencer 71 and a second silencer 72. A portion of the first silencer 71 is disposed inside the outdoor unit 3. The second silencer 72 is disposed outside the outdoor unit 3. The first silencer 71 is connected to the first duct 61 inside the outdoor unit 3 close to the sound source, and the volume is increased by the first silencer 71 and the second silencer 72, so that the silencing effect is further improved.
[0156] (6-3)
[0157] In the air conditioning device 1, the interior of the outdoor unit 3 is divided into a machine room 50a in which a compressor 21 serving as a heat source is disposed, and a blower room 50b adjacent to the machine room 50a. Since a portion of the first muffler 71 is accommodated in the machine room 50a, condensation inside the first muffler 71 is suppressed by the heat of the compressor 21.
[0158] (6-4)
[0159] In the air conditioning apparatus 1, the first silencer 71 is arranged so as to straddle the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3. As a result, the volume of the first silencer 71 is increased, and the noise reduction effect is improved.
[0160] (6-5)
[0161] In the air conditioning device 1, the volume of the first silencer 71 close to the sound source is larger than the volume of the second silencer 72, so the noise reduction effect is improved.
[0162] (7) Modification
[0163] like Figure 6B As shown, a connecting portion 52a is provided on the right side plate 52 so that the first muffler portion 71 of the muffler 70 can pass through from the inside to the outside of the outdoor unit 3. In the event of a fire inside or outside the outdoor unit 3, a gap G between the connecting portion 52a and the first muffler portion 71 may become a passage for the flame.
[0164] Fig. 9 FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the appearance of a muffler 70 according to a modified example. Fig. 9 In FIG. 7 , the muffler 70 has a flange 703 . The flange 703 is provided symmetrically with respect to a vertical plane including the central axis C1 of the first connection portion 711 and the central axis C2 of the second connection portion 722 .
[0165] When the silencer 70 is mounted from the communicating portion 52a, the gap G is blocked by the flange 703. Therefore, even if a fire occurs inside or outside the outdoor unit 3, the gap G does not become a path for the flame.
[0166] <Second Embodiment>
[0167] Fig. 10A 2 is a partial front view of the outdoor unit 3 of the air-conditioning apparatus 1 according to the second embodiment. Fig. 10B yes Fig. 10A This is a right side view of the outdoor unit 3 shown.
[0168] exist Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B In the figure, for convenience of explanation, the cover 55 is indicated by an imaginary line (two-dot chain line), and the right side plate 52 can be seen through the cover 55. Fig. 10AThe outdoor unit 3 described above is partially shown in a cross-sectional view for the purpose of understanding the internal structure.
[0169] Also, regarding the "directions" used in the instructions, follow Fig. 10A The directions marked by arrows pointing up, down, left, and right, and Fig. 10B The directions are marked by arrows in the four directions of "up", "down", "forward" and "backward".
[0170] In the second embodiment, the form of the muffler of the first embodiment is changed, and the right side plate is also partially changed accordingly. Since other devices and components are not changed, only the muffler and the right side plate will be described here.
[0171] (1) Details of the silencer 80
[0172] like Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B As shown, the silencer 80 includes a first silencer portion 81 and a second silencer portion 82. The first silencer portion 81 and the second silencer portion 82 are connected via an intermediate duct 83.
[0173] The silencer 80 reduces the sound propagating in the first duct 61 when outdoor air is supplied from the outdoor unit 3 to the indoor unit 2. Also, the silencer 80 reduces the sound propagating in the second duct 62 when air is discharged from the indoor unit 2 to the outdoor unit 3.
[0174] (1-1) First Silencer 81
[0175] Fig.11 80 is a perspective view of the appearance of the muffler. Fig.11 In the embodiment, the first muffler 81 includes a first muffler body 810 having a cylindrical shape, a first upper connecting portion 811, and a first lower connecting portion 812 (see Fig. 10A ). The first muffler 81 is entirely accommodated in the machine room 50a inside the outdoor unit 3, so that condensation inside the first muffler 71 is suppressed by the heat of the compressor 21.
[0176] (1-1-1) First Silencer Main Body 810
[0177] Fig.12 80 is a longitudinal sectional view of the muffler. Fig.12 In the embodiment, the first muffler body 810 has an outer shell 810a as a casing. The first muffler body 810 further has a sound absorbing material 810b and a cavity 810c surrounded by the sound absorbing material 810b inside the outer shell 810a.
[0178] As a material of the sound absorbing material 810b, felt, foamed polyurethane, etc. can be used. Since the cavity 810c is connected to the first duct 61, the air sent to the indoor unit 2 or the air sent from the indoor unit 2 passes through the cavity 810c.
[0179] In the air conditioner 1, the sound generated by the air supply and exhaust fan 43 is reduced by the first muffler 81 connected to the first duct 61 of the outdoor unit 3 before being transmitted to the indoor unit 2. Therefore, in the air conditioner 1, the sound transmitted from the outdoor unit 3 to the indoor unit 2 is reduced.
[0180] The first upper connection portion 811 protrudes vertically upward from the top plate 810d of the housing 810a, and the first lower connection portion 812 protrudes vertically downward from the bottom plate 810e of the housing 810a.
[0181] (1-1-2) First upper connection portion 811
[0182] like Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B As shown, the first upper connection portion 811 as the upper end of the first muffler portion 81 is connected to the terminal end of the first duct 61 extending from the humidifying unit 4 inside the outdoor unit 3 .
[0183] like Fig.11 As shown, the first upper connecting portion 811 is cylindrical. The first upper connecting portion 811 is provided with a protrusion 811a and a slit 811b. The protrusion 811a is rectangular and protrudes radially from the outer peripheral surface. The slit 811b is recessed from the upper end surface of the first upper connecting portion 811 toward vertically downward.
[0184] The first pipe 61 connected to the first upper connecting portion 811 is provided with a recessed portion (not shown) engaged with the protrusion 811a and a convex portion (not shown) engaged with the slit 811b. The protrusion 811a and the slit 811b function as "positioning" and "anti-rotation" components.
[0185] (1-1-3) First lower connection portion 812
[0186] like Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B As shown, inside the outdoor unit 3, a first end 83a of the intermediate duct 83 is connected to a first lower connecting portion 812 which is a lower end of the first muffler portion 81.
[0187] like Fig.12 As shown, the first lower connection portion 812 is cylindrical in shape. The first lower connection portion 812 is arranged along the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3 on the same axis as the first upper connection portion 811 .
[0188] (1-2) Second Silencer 82
[0189] The second muffler 82 includes a cylindrical second muffler body 820, a second upper connection portion 821, and a second lower connection portion 822. The second muffler 82 is accommodated between the right side plate 52 and the cover 55.
[0190] (1-2-1) Second silencer body 820
[0191] like Fig.12 As shown, the second muffler body 820 has an outer shell 820a as a casing. The second muffler body 820 has a sound absorbing material 820b and a cavity 820c surrounded by the sound absorbing material 820b inside the outer shell 820a.
[0192] As a material of the sound absorbing material 820b, felt, foamed polyurethane, etc. The cavity 820c is connected to the first muffler 81 via the intermediate duct 83, so that the air sent to or from the indoor unit 2 passes through the cavity 820c.
[0193] In the air conditioning device 1, the sound generated by the air supply and exhaust fan 43 is reduced by the first muffler 81 connected to the first duct 61 of the outdoor unit 3 before being transmitted to the indoor unit 2, and is further reduced by the second muffler 82. Therefore, in the air conditioning device 1, the sound transmitted from the outdoor unit 3 to the indoor unit 2 becomes smaller.
[0194] The second upper connection portion 821 protrudes vertically upward from the top plate 820d of the housing 820a, and the second lower connection portion 822 protrudes vertically downward from the bottom plate 820e of the housing 820a.
[0195] (1-2-2) Second upper connection portion 821
[0196] like Fig.11 As shown, the second upper connection portion 821 is cylindrical. A connection mechanism 821a is provided on the second upper connection portion 821. The connection mechanism 821a facilitates connection and removal of the intermediate pipe 83 with respect to the second end 83b.
[0197] (1-2-3) Second lower connection portion 822
[0198] like Fig.11 and Fig.12 As shown, the second lower connection portion 822 is cylindrical. The second lower connection portion 822 is arranged on the same axis as the second upper connection portion 821 along the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3. The second duct 62 is connected to the second lower connection portion 822.
[0199] (1-3) Intermediate pipe 83
[0200] The intermediate duct 83 is a cylindrical air passage. A portion of the intermediate duct 83 is housed inside the outdoor unit 3 , and the remaining portion is housed between the right side plate 52 and the cover 55 together with the second muffler 82 .
[0201] The intermediate duct 83 has a first end 83a connected to the first lower connection portion 812 of the first muffler 81, a second end 83b connected to the second upper connection portion 821 of the second muffler 82, and a bent portion 83c connecting the first end 83a and the second end 83b.
[0202] The intermediate duct 83 connects the first muffler 81 located inside the outdoor unit 3 and the second muffler 82 located outside the outdoor unit 3, so the intermediate duct 83 passes through the right side plate 52. Therefore, the central axis C5 of the first end 83a and the central axis C6 of the second end 83b are offset in the horizontal direction.
[0203] The curved portion 83c gradually curves and descends from the first end 83a toward the outside of the right side plate 52 along a vertical plane including the central axis C5 of the first end 83a and the central axis C6 of the second end 83b to reach the second end 83b.
[0204] Therefore, the positions of the first silencer 81 and the second silencer 82 can be selected more freely than when the first silencer and the second silencer are integrated or when the path from the first silencer to the second silencer is a straight tube.
[0205] For example, in the case of the integrated type, when the position of the first muffler is changed, the position of the second muffler is necessarily changed. On the other hand, in the case of the separated type, even if the position of the first muffler 81 is changed, the position of the second muffler 82 may not be changed if the intermediate duct 83 is changed. Alternatively, the degree of curvature of the intermediate duct 83 may be changed so that only the position of the second muffler 82 is changed without changing the position of the first muffler 81.
[0206] In addition, the cross section of the intermediate duct 83 perpendicular to the air flow direction is smaller than that of the first muffler 81 and the second muffler 82, and the closer to the second end 83b, the smaller the cross section perpendicular to the air flow direction. Therefore, it is sufficient to provide a hole on the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3 that allows the intermediate duct 83 to pass through, so that the insertion hole provided on the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3 can be reduced compared to a structure in which the first muffler and the second muffler are integrated.
[0207] As described above, in the air conditioning device 1 of the second embodiment, by providing the silencer 80 on the air supply and exhaust path, the air supply sound per unit air volume heard from the air outlet side of the indoor unit 2 can be reduced. In addition, while maintaining the same air supply sound as that of the air conditioning device without the silencer 80, the air conditioning device 1 of the second embodiment can increase the air supply volume of the air supply and exhaust fan 43.
[0208] Therefore, the air supply amount can be simply increased without causing the user to feel a change in the air blowing sound. Specifically, in the air conditioning device 1 of the second embodiment, the air supply amount per unit time is expected to increase by about 20%.
[0209] (2) Features
[0210] (2-1)
[0211] In the air conditioning device 1, the silencer 80 includes a first silencer 81 and a second silencer 82. The first silencer 81 is arranged inside the outdoor unit 3. The second silencer 82 is arranged outside the outdoor unit 3. The first silencer 81 is connected to the first duct 61 inside the outdoor unit 3 close to the sound source, and the volume is increased by the first silencer 81 and the second silencer 82, so the silencing effect is further improved.
[0212] (2-2)
[0213] In the air conditioning device 1, the silencer 80 further includes an intermediate duct 83 connecting the first silencer 81 and the second silencer 82. The intermediate duct 83 has a first end 83a connected to the first silencer 81 and a second end 83b connected to the second silencer 82. The first end 83a and the second end 83b are offset in the horizontal direction. Even if the position of the first silencer 81 is changed, the position of the second silencer 82 can be unchanged as long as the intermediate duct 83 is changed. Alternatively, the intermediate duct 83 can be changed so that only the position of the second silencer 82 is changed without changing the position of the first silencer 81.
[0214] (2-3)
[0215] In the air conditioning device 1, the cross section of the intermediate duct 83 perpendicular to the air flow direction is smaller than that of the first muffler 81 and the second muffler 82. The intermediate duct 83 passes through the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3. It is sufficient to provide a hole in the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3 to allow the intermediate duct 83 to pass through, so that the shape of the right side plate 52 of the outdoor unit 3 can be simplified.
[0216] (2-4)
[0217] In the air conditioning device 1, the intermediate duct 83 has a curved portion 83c on the path from the first end 83a to the second end 83b. Since the intermediate duct 83 has the curved portion 83c, even when the position of the second muffler 82 is to be moved, it can be adjusted by the degree of the curve of the intermediate duct 83, so there is no need to redesign the shape of the entire muffler 80.
[0218] (2-5)
[0219] In the air conditioning device 1, the intermediate duct 83 has a smaller cross section perpendicular to the air flow direction as it approaches the second end 83b.
[0220] (2-6)
[0221] In the air conditioning device 1, the interior of the outdoor unit 3 is divided into a machine room 50a in which a compressor 21 serving as a heat source is arranged, and a blower room 50b adjacent to the machine room 50a. Since the first muffler 81 is accommodated in the machine room 50a, condensation inside the first muffler 81 is suppressed by the heat of the compressor 21.
[0222] (2-7)
[0223] In the air conditioning device 1, since the volume of the first silencer 81 close to the sound source is larger than the volume of the second silencer 82, the noise reduction effect is improved.
[0224] (3) Modification
[0225] like Fig. 10B As shown, a connecting portion 521 is provided on the right side plate 52 so that the middle pipe 83 of the muffler 80 can pass from the inside to the outside of the outdoor unit 3. In the event of a fire inside or outside the outdoor unit 3, the gap S between the connecting portion 521 and the middle pipe 83 may become a path for the flame.
[0226] Fig.13 FIG. 8 is a perspective view of the appearance of a muffler 80 according to a modified example. Fig.13 In the embodiment, the intermediate duct 83 has a flange 83d. The flange 83d is provided symmetrically with respect to a vertical plane including a central axis C5 of the first end 83a of the intermediate duct 83 and a central axis C6 of the second end 83b.
[0227] When the intermediate duct 83 is installed from the communicating portion 521 , the gap S is blocked by the flange 83 d . Therefore, even if a fire occurs inside or outside the outdoor unit 3 , the gap S does not become a path for the flame.
[0228] As mentioned above, although embodiment of this disclosure was described, it should be understood that various changes in form and detailed structure can be made without departing from the meaning and scope of this disclosure described in the claims.
