[0006] Problems to be solved by the invention

[0007] If the periphery of the insertion port is flat, when foreign matter adheres to the edge of the insertion port, there is a possibility that the foreign matter may enter the interior of the measuring device as the sensor is inserted.

[0008] Technical solutions to solve problems

[0009] One method disclosed herein is a measuring device that uses a sheet-shaped sensor to measure a specimen, wherein the measuring device comprises: a shell; a guide surface that is one end surface of the shell and is surrounded by a peripheral edge; and an insertion port formed in the guide surface at a position separated from any part of the peripheral edge and for inserting the sensor, and the guide surface is continuously recessed from the peripheral edge toward the insertion port.

[0031] The measuring device of this embodiment is a measuring device that uses a sheet-shaped sensor to measure a specimen, and includes a housing and an insertion port formed at one end of the housing and having a width that allows the sensor to be inserted. The surface forming the insertion port, i.e., the guide surface, is continuously recessed from the periphery toward the insertion port.

[0032] The specimen here is, for example, a body fluid collected from a living body, and specifically, blood and urine are examples thereof. The measurement is, for example, the measurement of components contained in the specimen, and when the specimen is blood, the measurement of blood sugar, hemoglobin, or hemoglobin A1c, etc., can be cited, and when the specimen is urine, the measurement of urine sugar, bilirubin, or urine protein, etc. can be cited.

[0033] An insertion port for inserting the sensor is formed in the housing of the measuring device. The insertion port is formed on a guide surface which is one end surface of the housing. The guide surface is surrounded by a periphery. The insertion port is formed at a position separated from any part of the periphery. By forming the insertion port in this way, even if foreign matter such as garbage is attached to the periphery, it is difficult for the foreign matter to adhere to the insertion port far from the periphery. In addition, the guide surface is continuously recessed from the periphery toward the insertion port. Since the guide surface is recessed in this way, when the sensor is inserted into the insertion port, even if the front end of the sensor hits the vicinity of the insertion port, it will be guided to the insertion port by the continuously recessed guide surface. Therefore, it is easy to insert the sensor into the measuring device.

[0034] The insertion port is preferably formed at a position including the center of the guide surface. By forming it in this way, when the sensor is inserted into the insertion port, no matter where the front end of the sensor hits the guide surface, it is guided to the insertion port by the continuously recessed guide surface.

[0035] In addition, the sensor is preferably in the shape of a strip, the width direction length of the insertion port corresponds to the short side direction length of the sensor, and the height direction length of the insertion port corresponds to the thickness of the sensor. If the sensor is formed in this way, it is easy to make the insertion direction of the sensor consistent with the width direction of the insertion port. In addition, it is easy to hold one end of the sensor with a finger while inserting the other end into the insertion port.

[0036] The guide surface is preferably a convex curved surface. Since the guide surface is formed by the convex curved surface, the inclination becomes steeper as it approaches the insertion port from the edge, so the sensor can be quickly inserted into the insertion port.

[0037] The housing is preferably formed in a self-standing type, and the guide surface is a surface that is opposite to the loading surface when the housing is self-standing. When the housing is formed in a self-standing type, it is assumed that foreign matter such as garbage and dust on the loading surface contacts the surface of the housing that contacts the loading surface, that is, the peripheral edge. In this case, the surface opposite to the loading surface, that is, the guide surface, is continuously recessed from the peripheral edge toward the insertion port, so that even if the foreign matter contacts the peripheral edge, it will not contact the insertion port inside the peripheral edge.

[0038] The measuring device of this embodiment preferably has a recessed portion that is recessed inwardly formed on the opposite side of the insertion port and at both ends along the width direction of the insertion port in the housing. By forming such a recessed portion, when the housing is held with the hand on the opposite side of the hand holding the sensor, the fingers can be hooked on both sides of the recessed portion, thereby preventing the housing from being accidentally dropped when the sensor is inserted.

[0039] The housing is preferably in a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and the recessed portions are formed on a pair of faces that are connected to both ends of the insertion port in the width direction. That is, the recessed portions are arranged in the same direction as the width direction, so that the housing can be stably held when the sensor is inserted.

[0040] In addition, it is preferable that the entire pair of surfaces is formed into a recessed portion. By forming it in this way, the housing can be stably supported by fingers regardless of where the two surfaces in the width direction of the sensor are held.

[0041] In addition, it is preferred that the entire circumference of the side surface of the housing is formed into a recessed portion. By forming it in this way, it is possible to hold not only both sides of the sensor in the width direction but also both sides of the sensor in the length direction.

[0042] Here, it is preferred that the concave portion is a concave curved surface that is concave in a valley shape along the center of the longitudinal direction and is formed into a shape that gradually rises from the center to the top surface and the bottom surface. By forming it in this way, it is easy to insert the fingertip of the finger into the concave valley of the concave portion. In addition, since the concave portion is a concave curved surface, the fingertip of the finger can easily fit on the curved surface.

[0043] In addition, the shape and meaning of the sensor are as described above.

[0044] Hereinafter, the embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The common symbols in the various figures indicate the same parts even if there is no special description. In addition, the various components and parts shown in the various figures are only schematically depicted, and the dimensions and positional relationships of the actual products may not be accurately shown.

[0045] (1) First Implementation Method

[0046] Figure 1 and Figure 2 The measuring device 10 of the first embodiment is shown in a perspective view and a front view. Figure 3 This is a diagram showing the measuring device 10 placed on the placement surface S, with the internal structure shown in a schematic cross-section.

[0047] (1-1) Structure

[0048] The measuring device 10 of the first embodiment uses a sheet-shaped sensor 50 (see Figure 4) to measure the specimen. The measuring device 10 of the first embodiment includes a housing 20 and a guide surface 40 which is one end surface of the housing 20 and is surrounded by a peripheral edge 41. An insertion port 30 is formed in the guide surface 40 at a position separated from any part of the peripheral edge 41. The sensor 50 is inserted into the insertion port 30. And, as Figure 1 and Figure 3 As shown, the surface where the insertion port 30 is formed, that is, the guide surface 40 is continuously recessed from the peripheral edge 41 toward the insertion port 30. In other words, the guide surface 40 continuously expands from the insertion port 30 to the peripheral edge 41. The insertion port 30 is formed at a position including the center of the guide surface 40. Figure 3 As shown, the guide surface 40 is formed as a convex curved surface. Hereinafter, in the measuring device 10, the side where the guide surface 40 is formed is referred to as the "front side", and the opposite side is referred to as the "rear side".

[0049] Specifically, the housing 20 is in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape with rounded edges and corners. In addition, one end face of the rectangular parallelepiped shape of the housing 20 is formed as a guide surface 40. An insertion port 30 is formed at the center of the guide surface 40. In other words, the insertion port 30 is formed at a position completely separated from the periphery 41 of the guide surface 40. The insertion port 30 is formed such that the length in the width direction along the long side of the guide surface 40 is greater than the length in the height direction along the short side. A switch 23 is provided near the guide surface 40 on the top surface of the housing 20.

[0050] A portion of the sensor support portion 31 inside the housing 20 is visually confirmed from the insertion port 30. Figure 3 As shown, the sensor support part 31 is connected to the substrate 11 built into the housing 20, and is the part that contacts the sensor 50 inserted from the insertion port 30. Although not shown in the figure, the substrate 11 is provided with a circuit for amplifying the electric signal, an analysis part for analyzing the sample concentration, a transmitter for transmitting the analyzed sample concentration as data to the outside, and a power supply setting part for energizing the power supply of the driving circuit, the analysis part, and the transmitter, and the operation is started by supplying power from a power source such as a battery to the power supply setting part.

[0051] like Figure 2 As shown in FIG. 1 , the side surface of the housing 20 is formed to be slightly expanded at the front side. Figure 1 As shown, the periphery 41 of the guide surface 40 is formed on the same plane. Figure 2 The structure shown, such as Figure 3 As shown, the measuring device 10 of this embodiment can be self-standing on a flat surface such as a table or a stand, that is, a placement surface S, with the guide surface 40 facing downward. That is, the housing 20 of the measuring device 10 of this embodiment is formed in a self-standing type. That is, the guide surface 40 is a surface facing the placement surface S when self-standing.

[0052] Figure 41 is a diagram showing a sensor 50 used in the measuring device 10 of the present embodiment in a top view. The sensor 50 is formed into a substantially rectangular sheet shape when viewed from above. At one end side of the sensor 50, the corner is rounded to form a sloping shoulder shape. The sloping shoulder shape portion is referred to as a front end portion 51. Hereinafter, in the sensor 50, the side where the front end portion 51 is formed is referred to as the "front end side", and the opposite side is referred to as the "rear end side".

[0053] In the sensor 50, an electrode layer 53 formed of a metal material such as gold (Au) or a carbon material such as carbon is formed on a base layer 52 formed of, for example, a synthetic resin (plastic). In addition, a portion of the electrode layer 53 is covered by a transparent spacer 54, and further, the portion other than a portion of the spacer 54 is covered by a cover layer 55 made of the same material as the base layer 52. The portion on the rear end side of the electrode layer 53 is not covered by the spacer 54 and the cover layer 55 and remains exposed. Furthermore, at the front end of the front end portion 51, a droplet 56 is formed as a gap generated between the electrode layer 53 and the spacer 54. An air hole 57 penetrating the cover layer 55 and the spacer 54 is provided slightly on the rear end side from the droplet 56. A reaction reagent corresponding to the target substance in the specimen (i.e., the substance intended to be measured by the measuring device 10) is applied to the front end side of the electrode layer 53.

[0054] In other words, the sensor 50 is in the shape of a strip whose length in the horizontal direction of the drawing is greater than its length in the vertical direction of the drawing. Figure 1 The width direction length of the insertion port 30 shown corresponds to the short side direction length W of the sensor 50. Figure 5 The thickness T of the sensor 50 shown corresponds to .

[0055] (1-2) Effect

[0056] like Figure 1 and Figure 3 As shown, the guide surface 40 is a convex surface and is continuously recessed from the peripheral edge 41 toward the insertion port 30, so that Figure 3 When the measuring instrument 10 is made to stand on the placement surface S in this manner, even if foreign matter on the surface of the placement surface S adheres to the peripheral edge 41 , it does not adhere to the edge of the insertion port 30 .

[0057] When attaching the sensor 50 to the measuring device 10, first, hold the portion of the sensor 50 where the electrode layer 53 is not exposed with the fingers of one hand, and hold the sensor 50 with the fingers of the other hand. Figure 1 The measuring device 10 shown in the figure is configured such that the rear end side of the sensor 50 is inserted into the Figure 1 The insertion port 30 is shown.

[0058] Furthermore, since the guide surface 40 is a convex curved surface and is continuously recessed from the peripheral edge 41 toward the insertion port 30 , no matter where the electrode layer 53 side of the sensor 50 contacts the guide surface 40 , the sensor 50 can be guided along the curved surface and smoothly inserted into the insertion port 30 .

[0059] Figure 5 The sensor 50 is shown in a three-dimensional diagram as being completely mounted on the measuring device 10. Figure 5 In the state shown, the rear end side portion of the sensor 50 is inserted into the housing 20, and the front end side portion is exposed. When the sensor 50 is inserted into the housing 20, the electrode layer 53 on the rear end side of the sensor 50 is in contact with the sensor support portion 31 (see FIG. 1 ) provided in the housing 20. Figure 3 ) is in contact with a terminal (not shown) and forms a circuit together with a circuit formed on the substrate 11.

[0060] like Figure 5 As shown, when the sensor 50 is inserted into the housing 20, after the switch 23 is turned on (depending on the product, the power is sometimes turned on when the sensor 50 is inserted into the housing 20), when an appropriate amount (for example, one drop) of a sample (for example, blood) is dripped onto the dripping port 56, the target substance in the sample reacts chemically with the reaction reagent applied to the electrode on the front end side, and the electrical signal generated by the chemical reaction is amplified by the circuit. Then, the amplified electrical signal is sent to the above-mentioned analysis unit (not shown). In the analysis unit, the concentration of the target substance in the sample is analyzed based on the received electrical signal.

[0061] (2) Second Implementation Method

[0062] Figure 6 The measuring device 10 of the second embodiment is shown in a perspective view. Figure 7 This is a diagram showing a state where the measuring device 10 according to the second embodiment is placed on a placement surface S, while showing an internal structure in a schematic cross-section.

[0063] (2-1) Structure

[0064] The measuring device of the second embodiment is different from the measuring device 10 of the first embodiment in that the guide surface 40 is formed into a suction cup shape by a flexible material such as rubber, and a valve body 42 having a cutout formed in the center of the guide surface 40 is provided. The remaining appearance and internal structure are the same as those of the measuring device 10 of the first embodiment.

[0065] (2-2) Effect

[0066] like Figure 6 and Figure 7 As shown, the guide surface 40 is a convex surface and is continuously recessed from the peripheral edge 41 toward the insertion port 30, so that Figure 3When the measuring instrument 10 is made to stand on the placement surface S in this manner, even if foreign matter on the surface of the placement surface S adheres to the peripheral edge 41 , it does not adhere to the edge of the insertion port 30 .

[0067] In addition, when Figure 7 When the housing is pressed toward the mounting surface S in the self-standing state shown, the front side of the housing 20 is slightly bent outward due to elastic deformation, so that the guide surface 40 as a suction cup is adsorbed to the mounting surface S. When the guide surface 40 is adsorbed to the mounting surface S, the air between the guide surface 40 and the mounting surface S is discharged into the housing through the valve body 42 that opens at the moment of adsorption.

[0068] The attachment of the sensor 50 to the measuring device 10 and the subsequent measurement of the specimen are the same as those of the first embodiment.

[0069] (3) Third Implementation Method

[0070] Figure 8~Figure 12 The three-dimensional images ( Figure 8 )、Main View( Fig. 9 )、Right side view( Fig.10 )、Back view( Fig.11 ) and bottom view ( Fig.12 ) shows a measuring device 10 according to a third embodiment.

[0071] (3-1) Structure

[0072] The measuring device 10 of the third embodiment uses the sheet-shaped sensor 50 (see Figure 4 ) to measure the specimen. The measuring device 10 of the third embodiment includes: a housing 20; and an insertion port 30 formed at one end of the housing 20 and having a width that allows the sensor 50 to be inserted. In addition, the entire circumference of the side surface of the housing 20 forms a recess 25. Hereinafter, in the measuring device 10, the side where the insertion port 30 is formed is referred to as the "front side", and the opposite side thereof is referred to as the "rear side".

[0073] In addition, the recessed portion 25 does not need to be provided on the entire circumference of the housing 20 as in the present embodiment, but may be provided only on Fig.10 The right side shown and the left side shown symmetrically therewith are formed into a flat surface on the front and back sides. That is, the entirety of a pair of faces (i.e., the right side and the left side) that are connected to both ends of the insertion port in the width direction of the insertion port 30 (i.e., the front side) forms the concave portion 25. Figure 9~Figure 11 As shown, the recessed portion 25 is a concave curved surface that is recessed in a valley shape along the center in the longitudinal direction and gradually rises from the center to the top surface and the bottom surface.

[0074] In addition, the recessed portion 25 may be formed on the right side and the left side formed in a planar shape. Fig.10A pair of recesses are provided on the rear side shown by the middle dotted line. That is, the recesses 25 are formed on a pair of faces (ie, right and left faces) that are adjacent to both ends of the insertion port in the width direction of the insertion port 30 (ie, the front face).

[0075] Moreover, even if the shell 20 is not in a rectangular shape (for example, one side is cut into a planar, roughly cylindrical shape to prevent rolling), a recess 25 recessed inwardly can be formed in the shell 20 on the opposite side of the insertion port 30 (i.e., the rear side) and along both ends in the width direction of the insertion port 30.

[0076] Specifically, the housing 20 is formed by a top surface ( Figure 8 ) and bottom surface ( Fig.12 ), and the front side having the recessed portion 25 ( Figure 8 and Fig. 9 ),back( Fig.11 ) and both sides ( Figure 8 and Fig.10 , the left side is omitted) these six sides form a roughly rectangular parallelepiped shape.

[0077] In the third embodiment, as in the first embodiment, a guide surface 40 is provided which is one end surface (i.e., the front surface) of the housing 20 and is surrounded by a peripheral edge 41. The insertion port 30 is formed at a position separated from any part of the peripheral edge 41 on the guide surface 40. The sensor 50 is inserted into the insertion port 30. Figure 8 and Fig. 9 As shown in FIG. 1 , the surface on which the insertion port 30 is formed, namely the guide surface 40, is continuously recessed from the peripheral edge 41 toward the insertion port 30. The insertion port 30 is formed at a position including the center of the guide surface 40. Figure 8 and Fig. 9 As shown, the guide surface 40 is formed as a convex curved surface.

[0078] The insertion port 30 is formed such that the width length along the long side direction of the guide surface 40 is greater than the height length along the short side direction. A switch 23 ( Figure 8 On the other hand, a substantially rectangular ejector 24 is provided slightly forward of the center of the bottom surface of the housing 20. A pressing portion 24A (see FIG. 2A ) is provided protruding from the inner surface near the rear end of the ejector 24 toward the inside of the housing 20 for the rear end of the inserted sensor 50 to abut against. Fig.15 ).

[0079] In the insertion port 30, the sensor support portion 31 (see FIG. 1 ) which is not shown and is built into the housing 20 is visually confirmed as in the first embodiment. Figure 3 ). Figure 3As shown, the sensor support portion 31 is connected to the substrate 11 (not shown) built into the housing 20 (see Figure 3 ) is connected to the sensor 50 inserted from the insertion port 30 and contacts the portion. Although not shown in the figure, the substrate 11 is provided with a circuit for amplifying the electric signal, an analysis unit for analyzing the sample concentration, a transmitter for transmitting the analyzed sample concentration as data to the outside, and a power supply setting unit for energizing the power supply of the driving circuit, the analysis unit, and the transmitter, and the operation is started by supplying power from a power source such as a battery to the power supply setting unit.

[0080] In the measuring device 10 of the third embodiment, Figure 4 The sensor 50 shown. The structure and use method of the sensor 50 are the same as those of the first embodiment.

[0081] (3-2) Effect

[0082] like Figure 8 and Fig. 9 As shown, since the guide surface 40 is continuously recessed from the peripheral edge 41 toward the insertion port 30 , even if foreign matter is attached to the peripheral edge 41 , it is difficult to be attached to the edge of the insertion port 30 .

[0083] When attaching the sensor 50 to the measuring device 10, first, hold the portion of the sensor 50 where the electrode layer 53 is not exposed with the fingers of one hand, and hold the sensor 50 with the fingers of the other hand. Figure 1 The recess 25 of the measuring device 10 shown in the figure allows the rear end side of the sensor 50 to be inserted into the recess 25. Figure 8 and Fig. 9 The insertion port 30 is shown. By holding the recessed portion 25 with fingers, the measuring device 10 can be prevented from being accidentally dropped during insertion. In addition, the width direction of the insertion port 30 and the sensor 50 is significantly larger than the height direction (or thickness direction), so it can be inserted in the correct direction.

[0084] In the third embodiment, the guide surface 40 is continuously recessed from the peripheral edge 41 toward the insertion port 30 . Therefore, no matter where the electrode layer 53 side of the sensor 50 contacts the guide surface 40 , the sensor 50 can be guided along the curved surface and smoothly inserted into the insertion port 30 .

[0085] Fig.13 The sensor 50 is shown in a three-dimensional diagram as being completely mounted on the measuring device 10. Fig.13 In the state shown, the rear end side portion of the sensor 50 is inserted into the housing 20, and the front end side portion is exposed.

[0086] like Fig.13 As shown, when the sensor 50 is inserted into the housing 20, after the switch 23 is turned on (depending on the product, the power is sometimes turned on when the sensor 50 is inserted into the housing 20), when an appropriate amount (for example, one drop) of a sample (for example, blood) is dripped onto the dripping port 56, the target substance in the sample reacts chemically with the reaction reagent applied to the electrode on the front end side, and the electrical signal generated by the chemical reaction is amplified by the circuit. Then, the amplified electrical signal is sent to the analysis unit (not shown) inside the housing 20. In the analysis unit, the concentration of the target substance in the sample is analyzed based on the received electrical signal.

[0087] After the sample measurement is completed, if Fig.14 as well as Fig.15 When the ejector 24 is moved forward in the initial state shown in the left figure, the pressing portion 24A presses the rear end of the sensor 50 forward, and the sensor 50 can be removed.

[0088] (4) Fourth Implementation Method

[0089] Figure 16~Figure 18 The three-dimensional images ( Fig.16 )、Top view( Fig.17 ) and side view ( Fig.18 ) shows a measuring device 10 according to a fourth embodiment.

[0090] In the present embodiment, the bottom surface 22 protrudes forward from the top surface 21 , so that the insertion port 30 is easily visible when viewed from slightly above, which is a normal viewing point, and thus the sensor 50 is easily inserted.

[0091] The rest of the external shape, internal structure, and operation of this embodiment are the same as those of the measuring device 10 of the third embodiment.

[0092] (5) Fifth Implementation Method

[0093] Fig.19 The measuring device 10 of the fifth embodiment is shown in a perspective view. In this embodiment, a transparent portion 21A made of a transparent or translucent material is formed in the area near the front side of the top surface 21. The sensor support portion 31 inside the housing 20 can be visually confirmed through the transparent portion 21A. By forming the transparent portion 21A, the sensor support portion 31 located on the inner side of the insertion port 30 is easily visible when viewed from slightly above as a normal viewpoint, so that the sensor 50 is easily inserted.

[0094] The rest of the external shape, internal structure, and operation of this embodiment are the same as those of the measuring device 10 of the third embodiment.

[0095] In addition, preferred embodiments of the present disclosure are further described below.
