[0025] In the following description, the vertical direction is defined and described based on the positional relationship when the drive device of the embodiment is mounted on a vehicle located on a horizontal road surface. That is, the relative positional relationship related to the vertical direction described in the following embodiments only needs to be satisfied at least when the drive device is mounted on a vehicle located on a horizontal road surface.
[0026] In the accompanying drawings, an XYZ coordinate system is appropriately shown as a three-dimensional orthogonal coordinate system. In the XYZ coordinate system, the Z-axis direction is the vertical direction. The +Z side is the upper side of the vertical direction, and the -Z side is the lower side of the vertical direction. In the following description, the upper side of the vertical direction is referred to as the "upper side", and the lower side of the vertical direction is referred to as the "lower side". The X-axis direction is a direction perpendicular to the Z-axis direction, and is the front-to-back direction of a vehicle equipped with a drive device. In the following embodiments, the +X side is the front side of the vehicle, and the -X side is the rear side of the vehicle. The Y-axis direction is a direction perpendicular to both the X-axis direction and the Z-axis direction, and is the left-to-right direction of the vehicle, that is, the vehicle width direction. In the following embodiments, the +Y side is the left side of the vehicle, and the -Y side is the right side of the vehicle. The front-to-back direction and the left-to-right direction are horizontal directions perpendicular to the vertical direction.
[0027] In addition, the positional relationship in the front-rear direction is not limited to the positional relationship in the following embodiments, and the +X side may be the rear side of the vehicle and the -X side may be the front side of the vehicle. In this case, the +Y side is the right side of the vehicle and the -Y side is the left side of the vehicle. In addition, in this specification, "parallel direction" also includes a substantially parallel direction, and "vertical direction" also includes a substantially vertical direction.
[0028] The first center axis J1 shown in the figure appropriately is an imaginary axis extending in a direction intersecting the vertical direction. In more detail, the first center axis J1 extends in the Y-axis direction perpendicular to the vertical direction, that is, the left-right direction of the vehicle. In the following description, unless otherwise specified, the direction parallel to the first center axis J1 is referred to as the "axial direction", and the radial direction centered on the first center axis J1 is referred to as the "first radial direction". In the following embodiments, the left side (+Y side) is referred to as the "one axial side", and the right side (-Y side) is referred to as the "other axial side".
[0029] <First embodiment>

In addition, although not shown in the figure, the partition wall portion 31b has a partition wall opening that connects the interior of the motor housing portion 31 and the interior of the gear housing portion 32 in addition to the hole 31e.
[0036] The pump housing portion 33 is, for example, located at the rear side (-X side) of the motor housing portion 31. The wall portion constituting the pump housing portion 33 is connected to the wall portion constituting the motor housing portion 31 and the wall portion constituting the gear housing portion 32. In the present embodiment, the wall portion constituting the pump housing portion 33 and the portion of the wall portion constituting the motor housing portion 31 and the wall portion constituting the gear housing portion 32 that is connected to the wall portion constituting the pump housing portion 33 are part of the same component.
[0037] like Figure 2 As shown, the interior of the pump housing 33 is open on the other axial side (-Y side). The pump housing 33 includes a first housing portion 33a, a second housing portion 33b and a connecting portion 33c. The interior of the first housing portion 33a is connected to the interior of the second housing portion 33b via the interior of the connecting portion 33c. The first housing portion 33a extends axially. The end of the first housing portion 33a on the other axial side is connected to the connecting portion 33c. One axial side (+Y side) of the first housing portion 33a is closed. The inner circumferential surface of the first housing portion 33a is cylindrical with the third central axis J3 extending in the axial direction as the center. The inner diameter of the first housing portion 33a increases as it moves toward the other axial side.
[0038] In the present embodiment, the third center axis J3 is an imaginary axis parallel to the first center axis J1. In the present embodiment, the axial direction of the first center axis J1 is also the axial direction of the third center axis J3. The third center axis J3 is arranged at a position different from that of the first center axis J1 in the first radial direction. In the following description, unless otherwise specified, the radial direction centered on the third center axis J3 is referred to as the "third radial direction". In addition, the axial direction of the third center axis J3 may also be a direction different from the axial direction of the first center axis J1.
[0039] The connecting portion 33c is connected to the other axial side (-Y side) of the first housing portion 33a. The inner circumferential surface of the connecting portion 33c is cylindrical with the third central axis J3 as the center. The inner diameter of the connecting portion 33c is larger than the inner diameter of the first housing portion 33a. The end of the other axial side of the interior of the connecting portion 33c is connected to the interior of the second housing portion 33b.
[0040] The second housing portion 33b extends axially. The inner circumferential surface of the second housing portion 33b is cylindrical with the second center axis J2 extending axially as the center. In the present embodiment, the second center axis J2 is an imaginary axis parallel to the first center axis J1. In the present embodiment, the axial direction of the first center axis J1 is also the axial direction of the second center axis J2. The second center axis J2 is arranged at a position different from the first center axis J1 and the third center axis J3 in the first radial direction. Figure 3 As shown in FIG. 1 , the third central axis J3 is arranged offset to the rear side (−X side) with respect to the second central axis J2.
[0041] In the following description, unless otherwise specified, the radial direction centered on the second central axis J2 is referred to as the “second radial direction.” In addition, the axial direction of the second central axis J2 may be a direction different from the axial direction of the first central axis J1, or a direction different from the axial direction of the third central axis J3.
[0042] like Figure 2 As shown, the end of the second housing portion 33b on the other axial side (-Y side) is open to the outer surface of the housing 30. The end of the second housing portion 33b on the other axial side is closed by the pump 60. The second housing portion 33b has a bottom 33g on one axial side (+Y side).
[0043] A cylindrical wall portion 33f protruding from the bottom 33g to the other axial side (-Y side) is arranged in the part on the axial side (+Y side) inside the second housing portion 33b. The wall portion 33f is cylindrical with the third central axis J3 as the center. The wall portion 33f constitutes the part on the other axial side and the connecting portion 33c in the first housing portion 33a. The connecting portion 33c is constituted by the end on the other axial side of the wall portion 33f. The outer peripheral surface of the wall portion 33f has a portion separated from the inner peripheral surface of the second housing portion 33b and a portion connected to the inner peripheral surface of the second housing portion 33b.
[0044] The second housing portion 33b has a small diameter portion 33d and a large diameter portion 33e. The small diameter portion 33d is a portion on one axial side (+Y side) of the second housing portion 33b. The large diameter portion 33e is a portion on the other axial side (-Y side) of the second housing portion 33b. The large diameter portion 33e is connected to the other axial side of the small diameter portion 33d. The inner diameter of the large diameter portion 33e is larger than the inner diameter of the small diameter portion 33d. The end of the small diameter portion 33d on one axial side is the end of the second housing portion 33b on one axial side. The end of the large diameter portion 33e on the other axial side is the end of the second housing portion 33b on the other axial side. The barrel wall portion 33f is located inside the portion on one axial side of the small diameter portion 33d. That is, the portion on the other axial side of the first housing portion 33a and the connecting portion 33c are located inside the small diameter portion 33d.
[0045] like Figure 3 As shown, the inner diameter of the second housing portion 33b is larger than the inner diameter of the first housing portion 33a. In other words, in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction, the size of the interior of the first housing portion 33a is smaller than the size of the interior of the second housing portion 33b. In this embodiment, when viewed in the axial direction, the inner circumferential surface of the second housing portion 33b surrounds the inner circumferential surface of the first housing portion 33a. When viewed in the axial direction, the entire interior of the first housing portion 33a overlaps the interior of the second housing portion 33b.
[0046] like Figure 1As shown, the housing 30 has a storage portion 34 for storing liquid. In the present embodiment, the liquid stored in the storage portion 34 is oil O. The oil O circulates in a refrigerant flow path 90 described later. The oil O is used as a refrigerant for cooling the motor 10. In addition, the oil O is used as a lubricating oil in the reduction gear 21 and the differential gear 22. As the oil O, for example, in order to exert the functions of a refrigerant and a lubricating oil, it is preferable to use an oil equivalent to an automatic transmission lubricating oil (ATF: Automatic Transmission Fluid) with a relatively low viscosity.
[0047] The storage section 34 is composed of a bottom wall section 34g located on the lower side among the wall sections constituting the housing 30 and a plurality of wall sections protruding upward from the bottom wall section 34g. That is, the storage section 34 has a bottom wall section 34g located on the lower side in the vertical direction. The bottom wall section 34g constitutes the bottom wall section of the motor housing section 31 and the bottom wall section of the gear housing section 32. In the present embodiment, the bottom wall section of the motor housing section 31 and the bottom wall section of the gear housing section 32 are located at the same position in the vertical direction. The plurality of wall sections protruding upward from the bottom wall section 34g among the wall sections constituting the storage section 34 include the wall section constituting the motor housing section 31 and the wall section constituting the gear housing section 32. The plurality of wall sections include, for example, a partition wall section 31b and a cover wall section 31c.
[0048] A portion of the wall portion constituting the reservoir 34 is connected to the wall portion constituting the pump housing portion 33. In the present embodiment, the wall portion located on the rear side (-X side) of the wall portion constituting the reservoir 34 is connected to the wall portion constituting the pump housing portion 33. In the present embodiment, a portion of the wall portion constituting the reservoir 34 and the wall portion constituting the pump housing portion 33 are parts of the same component.
[0049] In the present embodiment, the storage section 34 includes: a first storage section 34a provided in the motor housing section 31; a second storage section 34b provided in the gear housing section 32; and a connecting passage 34c connecting the interior of the first storage section 34a and the interior of the second storage section 34b. The first storage section 34a is formed by the lower portion of the motor housing section 31. The second storage section 34b is formed by the lower portion of the gear housing section 32. The oil level of the oil O in the first storage section 34a and the oil level of the oil O in the second storage section 34b are located at the same position in the vertical direction, for example. In addition, the oil level of the oil O in the first storage section 34a and the oil level of the oil O in the second storage section 34b may also be located at different positions in the vertical direction.
[0050] The lower end of the ring gear 22a is immersed in the oil O stored in the second reservoir 34b. The oil O in the second reservoir 34b is stirred up by the rotation of the ring gear 22a. The oil O stirred up by the ring gear 22a is supplied to the reduction gear 21 and the differential gear 22 as lubricating oil, for example.
[0051] The communication passage 34c extends in the axial direction. In the present embodiment, the interior of the communication passage 34c is constituted by the interior of the hole 31e and a space located between the protruding wall portion 31d and the bottom wall portion 34g in the vertical direction. The communication passage 34c is provided so as to protrude into the motor housing portion 31.
[0052] The housing 30 has a connecting flow path 91 that connects the interior of the pump housing 33 and the interior of the reservoir 34. Figure 3 As shown, in the present embodiment, the connecting flow path portion 91 extends linearly in a direction obliquely inclined along the vertical direction (Z-axis direction) relative to the front-rear direction (X-axis direction). The connecting flow path portion 91 is located on the upper side as it moves toward the rear side (-X side). One end 91a of the connecting flow path portion 91 is the end on the front side (+X side) and the lower side, and is connected to the end on the lower side of the connecting path 34c. Thus, in the present embodiment, the connecting flow path portion 91 opens inside the connecting path 34c. The other end 91b of the connecting flow path portion 91 is the end on the rear side and the upper side, and is connected to the end on the axial side (+Y side) of the first housing portion 33a. Thus, the connecting flow path portion 91 is connected to the inside of the first housing portion 33a. The other end 91b of the connecting flow path portion 91 is connected to the front side portion of the lower side portion of the end on the axial side of the first housing portion 33a. In the present embodiment, the connecting flow path portion 91 is located on the upper side in the vertical direction as it moves away from the inside of the storage portion 34.
[0053] The connecting flow path portion 91 is made, for example, by providing a through hole 95 extending linearly in a direction obliquely inclined in the vertical direction (Z-axis direction) relative to the front-rear direction (X-axis direction). The through hole 95 is located on the upper side as it goes toward the rear side (-X side). The through hole 95 is a hole that penetrates the first housing portion 33a from the outer surface of the housing 30 and reaches the connecting path 34c. The portion of the through hole 95 that opens on the outer surface of the housing 30 is closed by a sealing bolt 95a. The portion of the through hole 95 that extends from the first housing portion 33a to the connecting path 34c constitutes the connecting flow path portion 91.

[0055] The shaft 41 is rotatable about the first center axis J1. The shaft 41 is supported by bearings 44 and 45 held in the motor housing portion 31 so as to be rotatable. In the present embodiment, the shaft 41 is a hollow shaft. The shaft 41 is cylindrical and extends axially about the first center axis J1. A hole portion 43 is provided on the shaft 41 to connect the inside of the shaft 41 and the outside of the shaft 41. The shaft 41 extends across the inside of the motor housing portion 31 and the inside of the gear housing portion 32. The end of the shaft 41 on one axial side (+Y side) protrudes into the inside of the gear housing portion 32. The reduction device 21 is connected to the end of the shaft 41 on one axial side.
[0056] The stator 50 and the rotor 40 are opposed to each other with a gap in the first radial direction. In more detail, the stator 50 is located outside the rotor 40 in the first radial direction. The stator 50 is fixed inside the motor housing 31. The stator 50 has a stator core 51 and a coil assembly 52. The coil assembly 52 has a plurality of coils 52c installed on the stator core 51 along the circumferential direction around the first center axis J1. Although omitted from the illustration, the coil assembly 52 may also have a bundling component for bundling the coils 52c, and may also have a lap wire connecting the coils 52c to each other. The coil assembly 52 has coil ends 52a, 52b that protrude axially from the stator core 51.
[0057] The pump 60 is a pump that delivers the oil O in the reservoir 34 to the rotor 40 and the stator 50. In the present embodiment, the pump 60 is an electric oil pump. Figure 2 As shown, the pump 60 is mounted on the housing 30 in such a manner that at least a portion of it is housed in the pump housing portion 33. In the present embodiment, the pump 60 is inserted from the opening on the other axial side (-Y side) of the pump housing portion 33. In the present embodiment, a portion of the pump 60 is housed inside the second housing portion 33b. In more detail, a portion of the pump 60 other than the end portion on the other axial side is housed inside the second housing portion 33b. The pump 60 has a pump housing 61, a pump rotor 62, a pump stator 63, and a pump mechanism 64, and the pump rotor 62 is rotatable about the second center axis J2.

The pump housing 61 has a large diameter cylinder 61a, a small diameter cylinder 61b, a protruding portion 61c and a flange 61e. That is, the pump 60 has a large diameter cylinder 61a, a small diameter cylinder 61b, a protruding portion 61c and a flange 61e. The large diameter cylinder 61a and the small diameter cylinder 61b are cylindrical with the second central axis J2 as the center.
[0059] The pump rotor 62 and the pump stator 63 are housed inside the large diameter cylinder 61a. The large diameter cylinder 61a is located inside the large diameter portion 33e of the second housing portion 33b. The outer diameter of the end portion on the other axial side (-Y side) of the large diameter cylinder 61a is larger than the outer diameter of the portion other than the end portion on the other axial side of the large diameter cylinder 61a. The end portion on the other axial side of the large diameter cylinder 61a is fitted inside the end portion on the other axial side of the second housing portion 33b.
[0060] A sealing component 61f is installed on the outer peripheral surface of the end portion on the other axial side of the large diameter cylindrical portion 61a. In the present embodiment, the sealing component 61f is an annular O-ring embedded in a groove provided on the outer peripheral surface of the large diameter cylindrical portion 61a. The sealing component 61f is in the shape of an annulus surrounding the pump 60 around the second center axis J2. The sealing component 61f seals between the inner peripheral surface of the second housing portion 33b and the outer peripheral surface of the pump housing 61 within the entire circumference around the second center axis J2. The outer peripheral surface of the portion other than the end portion on the other axial side (-Y side) of the large diameter cylindrical portion 61a is opposed to the inner peripheral surface of the second housing portion 33b in the second radial direction with a gap therebetween.
[0061] The small diameter cylinder 61b is connected to one axial side (+Y side) of the large diameter cylinder 61a. The outer diameter of the small diameter cylinder 61b is smaller than the outer diameter of the large diameter cylinder 61a. Except for the end on the other axial side (-Y side), the rest of the small diameter cylinder 61b is located inside the small diameter portion 33d of the second housing portion 33b. The end on the other axial side of the small diameter cylinder 61b is located inside the large diameter portion 33e of the second housing portion 33b. The outer peripheral surface of the small diameter cylinder 61b is opposite to the inner peripheral surface of the second housing portion 33b in the second radial direction with a gap therebetween. A pump chamber 61d is provided inside the small diameter cylinder 61b. The end on one axial side of the small diameter cylinder 61b is arranged separately to the other axial side of the barrel wall portion 33f.
[0062] The protrusion 61c protrudes from the small diameter cylinder 61b to one axial side (+Y side). The protrusion 61c is cylindrical with the third central axis J3 as the center. The flange portion 61e is fixed to the housing 30, for example, by a plurality of bolts. Thus, the pump 60 is fixed to the housing 30 in a manner that allows loading and unloading.
[0064] The pump rotor 62 includes a pump shaft 62a extending in the axial direction and a pump rotor body 62b fixed to the pump shaft 62a. The end of the pump shaft 62a on one axial side (+Y side) is located in the pump chamber 61d. The pump stator 63 is located outside the pump rotor body 62b in the second radial direction.
[0065] The pump mechanism 64 is housed in the pump chamber 61d. In the present embodiment, the pump mechanism 64 is a trochoid pump mechanism having an inner rotor 64a and an outer rotor 64b. The inner rotor 64a is connected to the end of the axial side (+Y side) of the pump shaft 62a. The inner rotor 64a rotates around the second center axis J2 as the pump shaft 62a rotates around the second center axis J2. The outer rotor 64b is in a roughly annular shape surrounding the inner rotor 64a. The center of the outer rotor 64b is eccentric relative to the inner rotor 64a in the second radial direction. Although not shown in the figure, the inner rotor 64a and the outer rotor 64b respectively have teeth that mesh with each other. The outer rotor 64b rotates along with the rotation of the inner rotor 64a.
[0066] The pump 60 has a suction port 60a for sucking oil O. In the present embodiment, the suction port 60a is provided in the protrusion 61c. More specifically, the suction port 60a is an end portion of the protrusion 61c on one axial side (+Y side) and is open on one axial side. Figure 3 As shown in FIG. 1 , in the present embodiment, the suction port 60a is in a circular shape centered on the third central axis J3. The suction port 60a is connected to the interior of the first housing portion 33a via a through portion 70c described later.
[0067] The suction port 60a is located inside the pump housing portion 33. Therefore, compared with the case where the suction port 60a is located inside the reservoir 34 or in the hole portion provided in the wall portion constituting the reservoir 34, the degree of freedom of the position where the suction port 60a can be arranged can be increased. That is, the suction port 60a can be arranged regardless of the position of the reservoir 34. Thus, the position where the pump 60 sucks the oil O can be appropriately determined, and the pump 60 can be easily caused to suck the oil O.
[0068] In addition, since the suction port 60a of the pump 60 can be arranged regardless of the position of the storage portion 34, the degree of freedom of arrangement of the pump 60 in the motor 10 can also be increased. Therefore, the degree of freedom of the outer shape of the motor 10 and the degree of freedom of the outer shape of the drive device 100 can be increased. Specifically, the pump 60 can be arranged at a relatively upper position relative to the bottom wall portion 34g of the storage portion 34 provided at the lower end of the housing 30. Thus, it is possible to prevent the pump 60 from protruding downward from the bottom wall portion 34g of the storage portion 34, and it is possible to prevent the motor 10 and the drive device 100 from becoming larger in the vertical direction.
[0069] In the present embodiment, the pump 60 is located above the bottom wall 34g of the storage portion 34. Therefore, the pump 60 does not extend downward from the bottom wall 34g, and the motor 10 can be appropriately prevented from being enlarged in the vertical direction. In addition, in the present embodiment, the pump housing 33 is located above the bottom wall 34g of the storage portion 34. Therefore, the pump housing 33 does not extend downward from the bottom wall 34g, and the motor 10 can be more appropriately prevented from being enlarged in the vertical direction.
[0070] In the present embodiment, the suction port 60a is located above the portion of the connecting flow path portion 91 that opens inside the storage portion 34, that is, one end portion 91a. Therefore, the pump 60 can be appropriately arranged on the upper side relative to the bottom wall portion 34g of the storage portion 34, and the motor 10 and the drive device 100 can be appropriately suppressed from being enlarged in the vertical direction. In addition, in the present embodiment, the suction port 60a is located above the portion of the connecting flow path portion 91 that opens inside the pump storage portion 33, that is, the other end portion 91b. Therefore, the pump 60 can be more appropriately arranged on the upper side relative to the bottom wall portion 34g of the storage portion 34, and the motor 10 and the drive device 100 can be more appropriately suppressed from being enlarged in the vertical direction.
[0071] As described above, in the present embodiment, the connecting flow path portion 91 is located on the upper side as it is farther from the inside of the reservoir 34. Therefore, the portion of the connecting flow path portion 91 that opens in the reservoir 34 can be opened at the lower end portion of the inside of the reservoir 34, and the portion of the connecting flow path portion 91 that opens in the pump housing portion 33 can be appropriately arranged on the upper side relative to the reservoir 34. Thus, the oil O in the reservoir 34 can be easily sucked into the pump housing portion 33 from the connecting flow path portion 91, and the pump 60 can be arranged on a relatively upper side relative to the bottom wall portion 34g of the reservoir 34.
[0072] like Figure 2As shown, the pump 60 has a discharge port 60b for discharging the oil O. In the present embodiment, the discharge port 60b is provided on the end surface of the small diameter cylindrical portion 61b on one axial side (+Y side). The discharge port 60b is open on one axial side. The discharge port 60b is connected to the interior of the second storage portion 33b. More specifically, the discharge port 60b is connected to the interior of the small diameter portion 33d. Figure 3 As shown in FIG. 1 , in the present embodiment, the discharge port 60b extends in an arc shape centered on the second central axis J2. The discharge port 60b is located on the front side (+X side) of the suction port 60a.
[0073] When the pump rotor 62 rotates about the second center axis J2, the inner rotor 64a rotates, and the outer rotor 64b also rotates with the rotation of the inner rotor 64a. As the inner rotor 64a and the outer rotor 64b rotate, the oil O is sucked into the gap between the inner rotor 64a and the outer rotor 64b from the suction port 60a. The oil O sucked into the gap between the inner rotor 64a and the outer rotor 64b is discharged from the discharge port 60b into the second housing portion 33b.
[0074] like Figure 4 As shown in FIG. 1 , the motor 10 includes a filter 80 through which the oil O, which is a liquid delivered by the pump 60, passes. The filter 80 is housed inside the pump housing portion 33. Therefore, by removing the pump 60 from the pump housing portion 33, it is easy to take out the filter 80 in the pump housing portion 33 to the outside of the housing 30. Thus, it is easy to replace the filter 80 without disassembling the housing 30. Therefore, for example, compared with a case where the filter 80 is provided inside the reservoir 34, the man-hours for replacing the filter 80 can be reduced.
[0075] Here, for example, in the case where the filter is disposed inside the storage section 34, it is necessary to remove a part of the wall member constituting the portion where the storage section 34 is disposed in the housing 30. In this case, since the wall member is fixed to the other wall member via a sealing material such as a liquid gasket applied to the sealed surface, after replacing the filter 80, it is necessary to apply the sealing material again to at least one of the two wall members and then fix the wall members to each other. That is, in the case where the filter is disposed inside the storage section 34, in addition to the process of disassembling and reassembling the housing 30, a process of reapplying a sealing material such as a liquid gasket is required, and the man-hours for the operation of replacing the filter are likely to be further increased. In contrast, according to the present embodiment, it is not necessary to disassemble the wall members in the housing 30 from each other, so it is not necessary to apply a sealing material such as a liquid gasket, and the man-hours for the operation of replacing the filter 80 can be more appropriately reduced.
[0076] In addition, although the seal member 61f is also used to seal the pump 60 and the pump housing 33, the seal portion between the pump 60 and the pump housing 33 can be easily formed into a simple shape such as a ring, and the entire length can also be easily shortened, so it is easy to use a seal member such as an O-ring as the seal member 61f. Therefore, when the removed pump 60 is reinstalled in the pump housing 33, it is not necessary to apply a liquid gasket or the like again, and the pump 60 with the seal member 61f installed can be simply inserted into the pump housing 33.
[0077] In the present embodiment, the filter 80 is housed inside the first housing portion 33a. The filter 80 is separately arranged from the bottom of the first housing portion 33a on one axial side (+Y side) to the other axial side (-Y side). The filter 80 is located at a position closer to the other axial side than the other end 91b of the connecting flow path portion 91. In the present embodiment, the filter 80 is in the shape of a cylinder surrounding the first cylinder portion 74 described later. The filter 80 is in the shape of a cylinder extending axially with the third central axis J3 as the center. The filter 80 is open on both sides of the axial direction.
[0078] The filter 80 is, for example, a metal filter member. The oil O can pass through the filter 80 via a plurality of meshes. Even if foreign matter is mixed in the oil O, the foreign matter can be removed from the oil O by the filter 80 because the oil O passes through the filter 80. In addition, the foreign matter mixed in the oil O is, for example, metal powder generated by the contact between the gears of the gear mechanism 20.
[0079] The motor 10 is provided with a partition 70 that separates the interior of the first storage section 33a from the interior of the second storage section 33b. As described above, the filter 80 is stored in the interior of the first storage section 33a, and a part of the pump 60 is stored in the interior of the second storage section 33b. In addition, as described above, the suction port 60a of the pump 60 is connected to the interior of the first storage section 33a, and the discharge port 60b of the pump 60 is connected to the interior of the second storage section 33b. In this way, in the present embodiment, the pump storage section 33 is divided by the partition 70 into two storage sections each provided with the filter 80 and the pump 60, and the suction port 60a and the discharge port 60b are connected to each storage section. As a result, the oil O discharged from the discharge port 60b can be the oil O after passing through the filter 80, and the oil O before passing through the filter 80 can be prevented from mixing with the oil O discharged from the discharge port 60b. Therefore, even when foreign matter such as metal powder is mixed in the oil O in the reservoir 34 , the oil O from which the foreign matter has been removed by the filter 80 can be appropriately fed to the rotor 40 and the stator 50 by the pump 60 .
[0080] In the present embodiment, the partition 70 is separate from the housing 30, and the partition 70 is fixed to the housing 30. Therefore, the filter 80 can be arranged inside the first storage section 33a before the partition 70 is fixed to the housing 30. Thus, the filter 80 can be easily arranged in the first storage section 33a. In addition, by fixing the partition 70 to the housing 30 in a detachable manner, the partition 70 can be removed when the filter 80 is replaced, and the filter 80 stored in the first storage section 33a can be more easily taken out to the outside of the housing 30. Therefore, the filter 80 can be more easily replaced. In the present embodiment, the partition 70 is fixed to the housing 30 in a detachable manner. The partition 70 can be removed from the housing 30 in a state where the pump 60 is removed from the pump storage section 33.
[0081] In the present embodiment, in the direction perpendicular to the axial direction in which the partition 70 separates the interior of the first housing section 33a from the interior of the second housing section 33b, the size of the interior of the first housing section 33a is smaller than the size of the interior of the second housing section 33b. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the volume of the first housing section 33a in which the filter 80 is arranged from increasing beyond necessity. Thus, it is possible to prevent the housing 30 from becoming larger. In addition, the oil O flowing into the interior of the first housing section 33a is not easily retained in the first housing section 33a, and the oil O in the first housing section 33a can be easily made to flow to the suction port 60a.
[0082] like Figures 4 to 6 As shown, in the present embodiment, the partition 70 extends in the axial direction. The material constituting the partition 70 is not particularly limited, and may be metal or resin. The partition 70 includes a partition body 70a, a first cylinder 74, a second cylinder 75, a third cylinder 76, and a cover 77. The partition body 70a, the first cylinder 74, the second cylinder 75, and the third cylinder 76 are, for example, parts of a component identical to each other. The cover 77 is, for example, separate from the partition body 70a, the first cylinder 74, the second cylinder 75, and the third cylinder 76.
[0083] The partition body 70a is in the shape of a ring centered on the third central axis J3. Figure 4 As shown, the partition body 70a is embedded in the connecting portion 33c. The partition body 70a separates the interior of the first storage portion 33a from the interior of the second storage portion 33b in the axial direction. The partition body 70a includes a base 71, a cylindrical portion 72, and a contact portion 73. The base 71 is annular with the third central axis J3 as the center. The base 71 is in the shape of a plate with the plate surface facing the axial direction.
[0084] The cylindrical portion 72 protrudes from the outer end of the third radial direction of the base 71 to the other axial side (-Y side). The cylindrical portion 72 is cylindrical with the third central axis J3 as the center and open to the other axial side. The cylindrical portion 72 is fitted into the interior of the connecting portion 33c. The end of the cylindrical portion 72 on the other axial side is arranged to be separated from the end of the connecting portion 33c on the other axial side to one axial side (+Y side).
[0085] A groove portion 72a that is recessed inward in the third radial direction is provided on the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion 72. The groove portion 72a is in the shape of an annulus centered on the third central axis J3. A sealing component 72b is embedded in the groove portion 72a. The sealing component 72b is an annular O-ring centered on the third central axis J3. The sealing component 72b seals between the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion 72 and the inner circumferential surface of the connecting portion 33c within the entire circumference around the third central axis J3. In the present embodiment, the partition portion 70 and the inner circumferential surface of the connecting portion 33c are sealed by the sealing component 72b, and the partition portion 70 and the protrusion 61c of the pump 60 are sealed by the sealing component 61g, thereby the interior of the first housing portion 33a and the interior of the second housing portion 33b are sealed liquid-tightly.
[0086] The contact portion 73 protrudes from the outer end of the third radial direction of the base 71 to one axial side (+Y side). The contact portion 73 is cylindrical with the third central axis J3 as the center and open on one axial side. The end of the contact portion 73 on one axial side is in contact with a step surface 33h provided between the inner circumferential surface of the first housing portion 33a and the inner circumferential surface of the connecting portion 33c in the axial direction. The step surface 33h is a surface facing the other axial side (-Y side). The step surface 33h is annular with the third central axis J3 as the center. The step surface 33h is a flat surface perpendicular to the axial direction. The contact portion 73 is in liquid-tight contact with the step surface 33h over the entire circumference around the third central axis J3.
[0087] The inner diameter of the contact portion 73 increases as it moves toward one axial side (+Y side). The outer diameter of the contact portion 73 is the same throughout the entire axial range. The thickness of the third radial direction between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface of the contact portion 73 decreases as it moves toward one axial side. As a result, the area of the end surface on the axial side of the contact portion 73 can be reduced. Therefore, the area of the contact portion 73 in contact with the step surface 33h can be reduced. Therefore, compared to the case where the area of the contact portion 73 in contact with the step surface 33h is large, the dimensional accuracy of the portion of the contact portion 73 in contact with the step surface 33h can be appropriately increased, and the contact portion 73 can be appropriately in liquid-tight contact with the step surface 33h. In the present embodiment, the end of the contact portion 73 on the axial side is in approximate point contact with the step surface 33h.
[0088] The first cylinder 74 protrudes from the partition body 70a toward the inside of the first housing portion 33a. In the present embodiment, the first cylinder 74 protrudes from the inner peripheral edge of the base 71 toward one axial side (+Y side). The first cylinder 74 is cylindrical with the third central axis J3 as the center. The first cylinder 74 opens at one axial side. The outer diameter of the first cylinder 74 decreases as it moves toward one axial side.
[0089] The first cylindrical portion 74 has a through hole 74a that penetrates the first cylindrical portion 74 along the third radial direction from the inner peripheral surface to the outer peripheral surface. Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown, in the present embodiment, a plurality of through holes 74a are provided. The plurality of through holes 74a include four through holes 74a arranged at equal intervals around the third central axis J3 in a portion on one axial side (+Y side) of the first cylinder 74 and four through holes 74a arranged at equal intervals around the third central axis J3 in a portion on the other axial side (-Y side) of the first cylinder 74.
[0090] like Figure 4 As shown, the second barrel 75 protrudes from the partition body 70a toward the inside of the second storage section 33b. In the present embodiment, the second barrel 75 protrudes from the portion separated from the inner peripheral edge of the base 71 to the outside in the third radial direction to the other side (-Y side) of the axial direction. The second barrel 75 is cylindrical with the third central axis J3 as the center. The second barrel 75 opens on the other side of the axial direction. The inner diameter of the second barrel 75 is larger than the inner diameter of the first barrel 74. The outer diameter of the second barrel 75 is larger than the outer diameter of the first barrel 74. The end of the other side of the axial direction of the second barrel 75 protrudes to the other side of the axial direction than the inside of the connecting portion 33c. The axial dimension of the second barrel 75 is smaller than the axial dimension of the first barrel 74. The inside of the second barrel 75 is connected to the inside of the first barrel 74. In more detail, the inside of the second barrel 75 is connected to the inside of the first barrel 74 via the inside of the annular base 71.
[0091] The protrusion 61c of the pump 60 is fitted into the second cylinder 75 from the other axial side (-Y side). The end of the protrusion 61c on one axial side (+Y side) fitted into the second cylinder 75 is axially opposed to a portion of the base 71 located on the inner side in the third radial direction of the second cylinder 75. Thus, the partition 70 can be suppressed from moving to the other axial side in a state where the pump 60 is fixed to the housing 30.
[0092] like Figure 5 As shown, a plurality of ribs 75a are provided between the second cylindrical portion 75 and the cylindrical portion 72 in the third radial direction. The plurality of ribs 75a extend along the third radial direction to connect the outer peripheral surface of the second cylindrical portion 75 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 72. The plurality of ribs 75a protrude from the base portion 71 toward the other axial side (-Y side). The plurality of ribs 75a are arranged at intervals from each other around the third central axis J3.
[0093] like Figure 4 As shown, the third barrel 76 protrudes from the partition body 70a toward the inside of the first storage section 33a. In the present embodiment, the third barrel 76 protrudes toward one axial side (+Y side) from a portion of the base 71 that is closer to the outside of the third radial direction than the first barrel 74 and closer to the inside of the third radial direction than the contact portion 73. The third barrel 76 is cylindrical with the third central axis J3 as the center. The third barrel 76 opens on one axial side. The third barrel 76 is inserted into the first storage section 33a from the other axial side (-Y side). The third barrel 76 surrounds the first barrel 74. The inner diameter of the third barrel 76 is larger than the inner diameter of the first barrel 74 and the inner diameter of the second barrel 75. The outer diameter of the third barrel 76 is larger than the outer diameter of the first barrel 74 and the outer diameter of the second barrel 75. The end portion on one axial side of the third tube portion 76 is located axially one side relative to the end portion on one axial side of the contact portion 73, and is located axially the other side relative to the end portion on one axial side of the first tube portion 74. The axial dimension of the third tube portion 76 is smaller than the axial dimension of the first tube portion 74 and the axial dimension of the second tube portion 75, and is larger than the axial dimension of the contact portion 73.
[0094] The cover 77 is fixed to the end portion on one axial side (+Y side) of the first cylinder 74. The end portion on one axial side of the cover 77 is the end portion on one axial side of the partition 70. The cover 77 is located closer to the other axial side (-Y side) than the other end portion 91b of the connecting flow path portion 91 that opens in the first housing portion 33a. Figure 5 As shown, in this embodiment, the cover portion 77 is cylindrical with the third central axis J3 as the center and open on the other axial side (-Y side). The cover portion 77 includes: a circular plate portion 77a, which is centered on the third central axis J3; a cylindrical portion 77b, which is cylindrical and protrudes from the outer peripheral edge of the circular plate portion 77a to the other axial side; and a fitting portion 77c, which protrudes from the central portion of the third radial direction of the circular plate portion 77a to the other axial side.
[0095] The outer diameter of the disc portion 77a is larger than the outer diameter of the first cylinder portion 74. The cylindrical portion 77b surrounds the end of the first cylinder portion 74 on one axial side (+Y side). The fitting portion 77c is cylindrical with the third central axis J3 as the center. The end of the fitting portion 77c on the other axial side (-Y side) is located closer to the axial side than the end of the cylindrical portion 77b on the other axial side. The fitting portion 77c is fitted into the end of the first cylinder portion 74 on one axial side and fixed. The end of the first cylinder portion 74 on one axial side is closed by the fitting portion 77c.
[0096] like Figure 4As shown, the partition 70 has a through portion 70c that penetrates the partition 70. In the present embodiment, the interior of the through portion 70c is composed of the interior of the through hole 74a, the interior of the first cylindrical portion 74, the interior of the base 71, and the interior of the second cylindrical portion 75. The protrusion 61c is inserted into the interior of the through portion 70c by fitting the protrusion 61c into the interior of the second cylindrical portion 75. The through portion 70c has a first opening 78a that opens into the interior of the first housing portion 33a and a second opening 78b that opens into the interior of the second housing portion 33b.
[0097] In the present embodiment, the first opening portion 78a is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the first tube portion 74. The first opening portion 78a is a portion of the through hole 74a provided in the first tube portion 74 that opens on the outer peripheral surface of the first tube portion 74. In the present embodiment, a plurality of through holes 74a are provided, and therefore a plurality of first opening portions 78a are also provided. The first opening portion 78a opens on the outside in the third radial direction.
[0098] In the present embodiment, the second opening portion 78b is provided in the second barrel portion 75. The second opening portion 78b is the end portion of the second barrel portion 75 on the other axial side (-Y side). That is, the second opening portion 78b is provided at the front end portion of the protruding direction of the second barrel portion 75. The protrusion 61c of the pump 60 is inserted into the second opening portion 78b. In the present embodiment, the protrusion 61c provided with the suction port 60a is engaged in the second barrel portion 75 from the second opening portion 78b. Thus, the suction port 60a provided in the protrusion 61c is connected to the interior of the through portion 70c via the second barrel portion 75, and is connected to the interior of the first housing portion 33a via the first opening portion 78a. In this way, the suction port 60a is connected to the interior of the first housing portion 33a via the through portion 70c. Therefore, the suction port 60a of the pump 60 can be easily connected to the first housing portion 33a while the pump housing portion 33 is partitioned by the partition 70. In addition, the suction port 60a of the pump 60 can be easily and appropriately arranged inside the pump housing portion 33.
[0099] A filter 80 is mounted on the partition 70. In the present embodiment, the filter 80 is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the first cylinder 74. The first cylinder 74 is inserted into the inner side of the filter 80. The filter 80 covers the first opening 78a. Thus, the oil O flowing from the first opening 78a into the through-portion 70c can be appropriately passed through the filter 80. Therefore, the oil O can be appropriately passed through the filter 80 before being sucked into the suction port 60a.
[0100] In the present embodiment, since the first opening 78a is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the first cylinder 74, the filter 80 is in a cylindrical shape surrounding the first cylinder 74, so it is easy to install the filter 80 on the partition 70, and the first opening 78a can be appropriately covered by the filter 80 from the outside in the third radial direction. In addition, in the present embodiment, since the second opening 78b is provided at the front end of the protruding direction of the second cylinder 75, the protruding portion 61c provided with the suction port 60a is embedded in the second cylinder 75 from the second opening 78b, so it is easy to properly connect the suction port 60a to the through portion 70c. Thus, the filter 80 and the pump 60 can be installed on the partition 70 and the suction port 60a can be appropriately connected to the first storage portion 33a, and the oil O before being sucked into the suction port 60a can be appropriately passed through the filter 80.
[0101] The end of the filter 80 on one axial side (+Y side) is located inside the cylindrical portion 77b of the cover portion 77, and is arranged opposite to the other axial side (-Y side) of the disc portion 77a. The end of the filter 80 on the other axial side is located inside the third cylindrical portion 76, and is arranged opposite to the one axial side of the base 71. By being sandwiched in the axial direction by the base 71 and the disc portion 77a, the filter 80 can be prevented from falling off from the partition portion 70.
[0102] like Figure 1 As shown, in this embodiment, a refrigerant flow path 90 for circulating oil O as a refrigerant is provided in the drive device 100. The refrigerant flow path 90 is a flow path for supplying the oil O stored in the storage portion 34 to the rotor 40 and the stator 50. The above-mentioned pump 60 and a cooler (not shown) are provided in the middle of the refrigerant flow path 90. The refrigerant flow path 90 includes a connecting flow path portion 91, a pump housing portion 33, an outflow flow path portion 92, a shaft 41, and a pipe member 93.
[0103] like Figure 4 As shown, one end 92a of the outflow flow path portion 92 is connected to the inside of the second housing portion 33b of the pump housing portion 33. The one end 92a of the outflow flow path portion 92 that opens inside the second housing portion 33b is arranged opposite to the outer side of the barrel wall portion 33f in the third radial direction. The one end 92a of the outflow flow path portion 92 is located on the upper side of the first housing portion 33a. The outflow flow path portion 92 is provided, for example, on the wall portion of the housing 30. Figure 1 As shown, a part of the outflow flow path portion 92 is disposed in the cover wall portion 31c. The portion of the outflow flow path portion 92 disposed in the cover wall portion 31c is connected to the inside of the shaft 41 and the inside of the pipe member 93. Thus, the outflow flow path portion 92 connects the inside of the pump housing portion 33 and the inside of the shaft 41, and connects the inside of the pump housing portion 33 and the inside of the pipe member 93. Although not shown in the figure, a cooler for cooling the oil O is provided in the middle of the outflow flow path portion 92. The cooler is fixed to the outer surface of the housing 30, for example.
[0104] The pipe member 93 is a cylindrical member extending in the axial direction. The pipe member 93 is located inside the motor housing portion 31. The pipe member 93 is located on the upper side of the stator 50. The end of the pipe member 93 on one axial side (+Y side) is fixed to the partition wall portion 31b. The end of the pipe member 93 on the other axial side (-Y side) is fixed to the cover wall portion 31c. The pipe member 93 has a plurality of supply ports 93a that open toward the stator 50.
[0105] When the pump 60 is driven, the oil O stored in the reservoir 34 is sucked up through the connecting flow path portion 91 and flows into the first housing portion 33a. Here, in the present embodiment, the connecting flow path portion 91 opens inside the connecting path 34c. The connecting path 34c connects the inside of the first reservoir 34a and the inside of the second reservoir 34b, so that by sucking the oil O from the connecting path 34c, any of the oil O stored in the first reservoir 34a and the oil O stored in the second reservoir 34b can be sucked into the connecting flow path portion 91. Thus, even if the storage amount of the oil O in any of the first reservoir 34a and the second reservoir 34b is small, it is possible to suppress the amount of the oil O sucked into the connecting flow path portion 91 from being insufficient.
[0106] The oil O that flows into the first housing portion 33a flows into the first opening portion 78a through the filter 80, and flows into the through portion 70c of the partition portion 70. The oil O that flows into the through portion 70c flows toward the other axial side (-Y side) in the through portion 70c, and flows into the pump chamber 61d of the pump 60 from the suction port 60a. The oil O that flows into the pump chamber 61d is transported to the discharge port 60b by the pump mechanism 64, and is discharged from the discharge port 60b into the second housing portion 33b. The oil O discharged into the second housing portion 33b flows into the outflow flow path portion 92 from the one end portion 92a. The oil O that flows into the outflow flow path portion 92 is branched into the shaft 41 and the pipe member 93 through a cooler (not shown) provided in the middle of the outflow flow path portion 92.
[0107] A portion of the oil O that has flowed into the shaft 41 is scattered toward the stator 50 from the hole portion 43 through the inside of the rotor body 42. Another portion of the oil O that has flowed into the shaft 41 is discharged from the opening on one axial side (+Y side) of the shaft 41 to the inside of the gear storage portion 32 and is stored in the second storage portion 34b. The oil O that has flowed into the pipe member 93 is ejected from the supply port 93a toward the stator 50. The oil O supplied to the stator 50 from each supply port 93a and the oil O supplied to the stator 50 from the inside of the shaft 41 fall downward and are stored in the first storage portion 34a. In this way, the oil O supplied to the rotor 40 and the stator 50 via the refrigerant flow path 90 returns to the storage portion 34 again.
[0108] (Variation of the first embodiment)
[0109] In the following description of this modification, the same configuration as the above-described embodiment may be omitted by appropriately attaching the same reference numerals, etc. In addition, the same configuration as the above-described embodiment may be adopted as long as there is no contradiction as to the configuration whose description is omitted in this modification.
[0110] like Figure 7 As shown, in the motor 110 of this modification, the housing 130 has a connection hole 135a that connects the outside of the housing 130 and the inside of the pump housing 33. In this modification, the connection hole 135a penetrates the wall portion located on the lower side of the wall portion of the second housing portion 33b constituting the pump housing 33 in the vertical direction. In this modification, the connection hole 135a is a discharge hole that discharges the oil O in the pump housing 33 to the outside of the housing 130. An internal thread portion is provided on the inner circumferential surface of the connection hole 135a. The portion of the housing 130 where the connection hole 135a is provided is a cylindrical boss portion 135 that protrudes downward.
[0111] The bolt 136 is installed in the connection hole 135a to close the connection hole 135a. The bolt 136 has a bolt head 136a and a bolt body 136b. The outer peripheral surface of the bolt body 136b is provided with an external threaded portion that meshes with the internal threaded portion provided on the inner peripheral surface of the connection hole 135a. The bolt body 136b is screwed into the connection hole 135a. The bolt head 136a contacts the lower end surface of the boss portion 135.
[0112] In this modification, the motor 110 has a magnet 181 disposed inside the pump housing 33. Therefore, when metal foreign matter such as metal powder is mixed in the oil O flowing into the pump housing 33, the metal foreign matter can be attracted to the magnet 181 by magnetic force. Thus, the foreign matter can be more appropriately removed from the oil O flowing into the pump housing 33. Therefore, it is possible to more appropriately suppress the mixing of foreign matter into the oil O supplied to the stator 50.
[0113] In this modification, the magnet 181 is located inside the second housing portion 33b. Therefore, even if metallic foreign matter remains in the oil O discharged from the pump 60 into the second housing portion 33b, the remaining foreign matter can be attracted to the magnet 181 and removed from the oil O.
[0114] In this variation, the magnet 181 is fixed to the upper end of the bolt body 136b. That is, the magnet 181 is fixed to the end of the bolt 136 on the pump housing 33 side (+Z side). Thus, by removing the bolt 136 from the connecting hole 135a, the magnet 181 can be easily taken out to the outside of the housing 130. In addition, by screwing the bolt 136 into the connecting hole 135a, the magnet 181 can be easily arranged in the pump housing 33. Thus, the magnet 181 can be easily replaced. The type of magnet 181 is not particularly limited.
[0115] Alternatively, a magnet 181 may be replaced by Figure 2 In this case, the magnet 182 is shown by the double-dashed line. In the same manner as the magnet 181 described above, foreign matter can be appropriately removed from the oil O flowing into the pump housing 33 by the magnet 182. Figure 2 In the example of FIG. 1 , the magnet 182 is located in the upper part of the second storage section 33b. The magnet 182 is arranged closer to the end 92a of the outflow flow path section 92 that opens in the second storage section 33b than the discharge port 60b. Therefore, the oil O that is discharged from the discharge port 60b and flows toward the end 92a of the outflow flow path section 92 can easily pass around the magnet 182, and foreign matter in the oil O can be easily removed by the magnet 182. In addition, it is also possible to set Figure 7 The magnet 181 and Figure 2 The magnets 182 are shown on both sides.
[0116] <Second embodiment>
[0117] In the following description of this embodiment, the same configuration as the above-described embodiment may be omitted from description by appropriately attaching the same reference numerals, etc. Also, configurations whose description is omitted in this embodiment may be the same configuration as the above-described embodiment within a range that does not contradict.
[0118] exist Figure 8 In the motor 210 of the driving device 200 of the present embodiment shown, the storage section 234 of the housing 230 does not have a connecting passage 34c. In the storage section 234, the interior of the first storage section 34a and the interior of the second storage section 34b are connected via a partition wall opening 231c provided in the partition wall section 31b. The pump housing 233 is located at a position closer to one axial side (+Y) than the pump housing 33 of the first embodiment. When viewed in the front-to-back direction (X-axis direction), the end of the axial side of the pump housing 233 is arranged at a position overlapping with the gear housing 32.
[0119] The connecting flow path portion 291 of the refrigerant flow path 290 opens inside the second storage portion 34b, which is a portion of the storage portion 234 provided in the gear housing portion 32. Thus, the oil O can be sucked up from the second storage portion 34b via the connecting flow path portion 291 by the pump 60 and delivered to the rotor 40 and the stator 50. Here, since the oil O stored in the second storage portion 34b is lifted up by the ring gear 22a, it is easier to fully store the oil O in the second storage portion 34b than in the first storage portion 34a. Therefore, by sucking up the oil O from the second storage portion 34b, the oil O can be easily sucked up more appropriately by the pump 60.
[0120] <Third embodiment>
[0121] In the following description of this embodiment, the same configuration as the above-described embodiment may be omitted from description by appropriately attaching the same reference numerals, etc. In addition, the same configuration as the above-described embodiment may be adopted within a range that does not contradict the configuration that is omitted in this embodiment.
[0122] like Fig. 9 As shown, in the motor 310 of the driving device 300 of this embodiment, the housing 330 includes a first housing portion 330a and a second housing portion 337. The first housing portion 330a is a portion of the housing 330 where the storage portion 334 is provided. The first housing portion 330a may be a single component or may be composed of a combination of a plurality of components.
[0123] The first housing portion 330a has a mounting hole 330d opened on the outer surface of the first housing portion 330a. In the present embodiment, the mounting hole 330d is recessed from the surface of the other axial side (-Y side) of the first housing portion 330a toward one axial side (+Y side). The mounting hole 330d is, for example, a circular hole centered on the second central axis J2. The mounting hole 330d is a stepped hole whose inner diameter decreases by one step from the other axial side toward one axial side. The mounting hole 330d is a hole having a bottom 330e on one axial side. The bottom 330e constitutes a wall portion on the other axial side (-Y side) of the storage portion 334. A fitting hole 334d is provided on the bottom 330e, which penetrates the bottom 330e in the axial direction. The end of the fitting hole 334d on one axial side (+Y side) opens inside the storage portion 334.
[0124] The second housing portion 337 is a portion of the housing 330 where the pump housing portion 333 is provided. The second housing portion 337 is separate from the first housing portion 330a. That is, in the present embodiment, the portion of the housing 330 where the storage portion 334 is provided and the portion of the housing 330 where the pump housing portion 333 is provided are separate from each other. The second housing portion 337 is inserted into the interior of the mounting hole 330d from the other axial side (-Y side) and is fixed to the first housing portion 330a. The second housing portion 337 includes the pump housing portion 333, a flange portion 337b, and a fitted portion 337c.
[0125] The pump housing portion 333 is cylindrical with the second central axis J2 as the center and open on the other axial side (-Y side). The pump housing portion 333 has a large diameter portion 337d and a small diameter portion 337e connected to one axial side (+Y side) of the large diameter portion 337d. The outer diameter of the small diameter portion 337e is smaller than the outer diameter of the large diameter portion 337d. The inner diameter of the small diameter portion 337e is smaller than the inner diameter of the large diameter portion 337d. The pump housing portion 333 is embedded in the mounting hole 330d. At least a portion of the pump 360 and the filter 380 are housed inside the pump housing portion 333.
[0126] The flange portion 337b protrudes outward in the second radial direction from the end portion of the other axial side (-Y side) of the pump housing portion 333. The flange portion 337b is in the shape of an annulus centered on the second central axis J2. The flange portion 337b contacts the peripheral portion of the portion where the mounting hole 330d is opened in the outer surface of the first housing portion 330a from the other axial side. Although not shown in the figure, the flange portion 337b is fixed to the first housing portion 330a by a plurality of bolts, for example. Thus, the portion of the housing 330 in which the storage portion 334 is provided, i.e., the first housing portion 330a, and the portion of the housing 330 in which the pump housing portion 333 is provided, i.e., the second housing portion 337, are fixed to each other. By adopting such a structure, for example, the following assembly method can be adopted: after the filter 380 and the pump 360 are arranged in the pump housing portion 333 of the second housing portion 337, the second housing portion 337 is fixed to the first housing portion 330a. Therefore, the operation of arranging the filter 380 and the pump 360 in the pump housing portion 333 can be easily performed.
[0127] In addition, by fixing the second housing portion 337 to the first housing portion 330a in a detachable manner, the second housing portion 337 can be removed from the first housing portion 330a. Thus, the pump 360 and the filter 380 can be removed from the housing 330 together with the second housing portion 337, and the replacement operation of the pump 360 and the filter 380 can be performed more easily.
[0128] The engaged portion 337c protrudes from the end of one axial side (+Y side) of the pump housing portion 333 to one axial side. The engaged portion 337c is engaged in the engaging hole 334d. The engaged portion 337c is cylindrical and extends in the axial direction. A groove for the sealing member 337g to be engaged is provided on the outer circumferential surface of the engaged portion 337c. The sealing member 337g is an annular O-ring surrounding the engaged portion 337c. The sealing member 337g seals between the outer circumferential surface of the engaged portion 337c and the inner circumferential surface of the engaging hole 334d over the entire circumference.
[0129] In the present embodiment, a connecting flow path portion 391 is provided in the second housing portion 337. The connecting flow path portion 391 is composed of a wall portion that axially penetrates the pump housing portion 333 on one axial side (+Y side) and a hole in the fitted portion 337c. The connecting flow path portion 391 connects the outside of the second housing portion 337 and the inside of the pump housing portion 333. The end portion of the connecting flow path portion 391 on one axial side is connected to the inside of the storage portion 334. The end portion of the connecting flow path portion 391 on the other axial side (-Y side) is connected to the inside of the storage portion 334. Thus, the connecting flow path portion 391 connects the inside of the pump housing portion 333 and the inside of the storage portion 334.
[0130] The pump 360 is inserted into the pump housing 333 from the other axial side. The pump housing 361 of the pump 360 is different from the pump housing 61 of the first embodiment and does not have a protruding portion 61c. The outer circumferential surface of the large diameter cylinder 61a of the pump housing 361 and the inner circumferential surface of the large diameter portion 337d of the pump housing 333 are sealed by the sealing member 361f over the entire circumference around the second central axis J2. The outer circumferential surface of the small diameter cylinder 61b of the pump housing 361 and the inner circumferential surface of the small diameter portion 337e of the pump housing 333 are sealed by the sealing member 361h over the entire circumference around the second central axis J2. The sealing member 361f and the sealing member 361h are annular O-rings surrounding the pump housing 361 around the second central axis J2. The end of the pump housing 361 on one axial side (+Y side) is separated from the end of the pump housing 333 on one axial side toward the other axial side (-Y side).
[0131] The suction port 360a of the pump 360 opens, for example, at the end surface on one axial side (+Y side) of the pump housing 361. The discharge port 360b of the pump 360 opens, for example, at the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter cylinder portion 61b of the pump housing 361. The axial position of the discharge port 360b is between the axial position of the sealing component 361f and the axial position of the sealing component 361h. The discharge port 360b opens in the gap between the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter cylinder portion 61b and the inner peripheral surface of the large diameter portion 337d. Although not shown in the figure, the outflow flow path portion 92 opens in the gap between the outer peripheral surface of the small diameter cylinder portion 61b and the inner peripheral surface of the large diameter portion 337d.
[0132] The filter 380 is housed in a portion of the interior of the pump housing 333 that is located closer to the axial side (+Y side) than the pump 360. In the present embodiment, the filter 380 is located at an end portion on the axial side of the interior of the pump housing 333. The filter 380 is, for example, in the shape of a circular plate extending along the second radial direction. The filter 380 is fitted into the interior of the small diameter portion 337e. The filter 380 contacts the wall portion on the axial side of the pump housing 333 from the other axial side (-Y side). The filter 380 covers the connecting flow path portion 391 from the other axial side.
[0133] In the present embodiment, when the pump 360 is driven, the oil O stored in the storage portion 334 flows into the connecting flow path portion 391. The oil O that has flowed into the connecting flow path portion 391 flows toward the other axial side (-Y side), passes through the filter 380, and flows into the pump housing portion 333. The oil O that has flowed into the pump housing portion 333 is sucked into the suction port 360a, and is discharged from the discharge port 360b.
[0134] <Fourth embodiment>
[0135] In the following description of this embodiment, the same configuration as the above-described embodiment may be omitted from description by appropriately attaching the same reference numerals, etc. In addition, the same configuration as the above-described embodiment may be adopted within a range that does not contradict the configuration that is omitted in this embodiment.

A component to which the driving force of the motor 410 is transmitted is connected to the portion of the shaft 441 that protrudes to the outside of the housing 430.
[0137] In the present embodiment, the connecting flow path portion 491 opens inside the first reservoir portion 34a. That is, the connecting flow path portion 491 connects the inside of the pump housing portion 433 and the inside of the first reservoir portion 34a. Thus, the oil O provided in the first reservoir portion 34a of the motor housing portion 431 can be sucked up by the pump 60 and supplied to the rotor 440 and the stator 50.
