Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of a transmission device of a hybrid vehicle, and in particular to a torque limiting vibration damper. Background Art

[0002] The torque limiting damper is generally installed between the engine and the gearbox to provide vibration reduction, noise reduction and overload protection for hybrid vehicles. The torque limiting part of the torque limiting damper usually includes: a bearing plate rotatably arranged around the rotation axis, and a driven component rotatably arranged around the rotation axis and twistable relative to the bearing plate, the bearing plate is fixedly connected to the flywheel of the engine, and the driven component is connected to the input shaft of the transmission through a spline. When the engine has a fire shock phenomenon or the wheel end is impacted by the road surface (for example, emergency braking, high and low adhesion coefficient roads, uneven roads, etc.), a certain degree of sliding occurs between the bearing plate and the driven component, thereby playing a role in torque limiting protection. However, during this slipping process, the bearing plate will have a certain degree of radial eccentricity. In addition, when the torque limiting damper falls from a high place or collides during handling or transportation, it may also cause the bearing plate and the driven component to slide relative to each other, resulting in radial eccentricity. This radial eccentricity phenomenon will cause the eccentricity of the torque limiting vibration damper to increase during use, causing eccentric knocking noise in the entire transmission device and may even cause the vibration damper to fail prematurely.

[0003] Therefore, there is an urgent need for a torsion damper that can prevent radial eccentricity when impact sliding or collision occurs. Summary of the invention

[0004] The purpose of the present invention is to provide an improved torque limiting shock absorber, which can prevent the torque limiting part from radial eccentricity when impact sliding or collision occurs, thereby enabling the torque limiting shock absorber to play the function of limiting radial eccentricity while maintaining its original function, thereby extending the service life of the torque limiting shock absorber and preventing NVH noise problems from occurring after the entire vehicle is impacted.

[0009] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the support ring further includes a plurality of positioning protrusions extending radially inward from the inner circumference of the ring body, and the positioning protrusions are arranged at positions different from the limiting protrusions along the circumference of the support ring.

[0010] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the friction lining includes a first friction lining and a second friction lining, which are respectively arranged on two axial sides of the bearing plate, and the second friction lining is arranged between the bearing plate and the support ring.

[0011] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the torque limiting vibration damper further comprises a cover plate and a pressure plate which clamp the bearing plate, the friction lining and the support ring therebetween along the axial direction of the torque limiting vibration damper, the pressure plate being connected to the support ring in a torque-resistant manner, and the pressure plate being connected to the cover plate in a torque-resistant manner.

[0012] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the torque limiting portion further includes a diaphragm spring, which is supported at the pressure plate and is loaded with an axial preload toward the friction lining and the bearing plate via the support ring.

[0013] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the torsion limiting vibration damper further comprises a vibration damping portion, and the vibration damping portion is mounted on the radial inner side of the torsion limiting portion through the cover plate and the pressure plate.

[0014] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the vibration-damping part includes a flange connected between the cover plate and the pressure plate in a torque-resistant manner along the axial direction of the torque-limiting vibration damper, and the cover plate, the pressure plate and the flange are provided with a plurality of mounting grooves at corresponding positions, and a vibration-damping spring is installed in each mounting groove.

[0015] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the number of the flange may be one or more.

[0016] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the friction lining comprises a dry friction material or a wet friction material.

The detailed description of the following embodiments and the accompanying drawings are used to illustrate the principles of the present invention by way of example, but are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, i.e., the present invention is not limited to the described embodiments.

[0026] In the following description of the present invention, it should be noted that, unless otherwise specified, "multiple" means more than two; the directions or positional relationships indicated by the terms "inside" and "outside" are only for the convenience of describing the present invention and simplifying the description, and do not indicate or imply that the device or element referred to must have a specific direction, be constructed and operated in a specific direction, and therefore cannot be understood as limiting the present invention. [0027] In the description of the present invention, it is also necessary to explain that, unless otherwise expressly specified and limited, the terms "installation", "connection" and "connection" should be understood in a broad sense. For example, it can be a fixed connection, a detachable connection, or an integral connection; it can be directly connected or indirectly connected through an intermediate medium. In addition, it should be understood that the term "torque-resistant connection" means that two elements are connected in a manner that does not rotate relative to each other, so that torque can be transmitted between the two elements, and the torque-resistant connection can be achieved through interference fit, bolt connection, gear connection, welding, spline connection, bonding by adhesive, etc., or by forming the two mentioned elements into one piece. For those of ordinary skill in the art, the specific meanings of the above terms in the present invention can be understood according to the specific circumstances.

[0028] In order to better understand the present invention, Figures 1 to 3 The torque limiting vibration damper according to an embodiment of the present invention is described, wherein Figure 1 A schematic diagram showing a three-dimensional structure of a torque limiting vibration damper according to an embodiment of the present invention; Figure 2 A cross-sectional view showing a three-dimensional structure of a torque limiting vibration damper according to an embodiment of the present invention; Figure 3 A cross-sectional view showing a partial structure of a torsion damper according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0029] The torque limiting vibration damper according to an embodiment of the present invention is installed between the engine and the gearbox to transmit a torque not exceeding an upper limit value between the engine and the gearbox. The torque limiting vibration damper mainly includes a disc hub 10, a torque limiting part 20 and a vibration reduction part 30, wherein the torque limiting part 20 is connected to the flywheel of the engine, the vibration reduction part 30 is installed on the radial inner side of the torque limiting part 20 and connected to the disc hub 10, the disc hub 10 is sleeved on the input shaft of the gearbox and is connected to the input shaft of the gearbox, for example, by a spline, so that the power of the engine can be sequentially transmitted to the input shaft of the gearbox through the disc hub 10 after passing through the torque limiting protection of the torque limiting part 20 and the vibration reduction of the vibration reduction part 30.

[0030] The torque limiting part 20 includes a bearing plate 21, a friction lining 22, a support ring 23, a diaphragm spring 24, and a cover plate 25 and a pressure plate 26 for clamping these components in the axial direction. Figure 2 and Figure 3 The components of the torque limiting portion 20 will be described in detail.

[0031] The carrier plate 21 is generally annular and is connected to the flywheel of the engine in a torque-resistant manner, for example, by bolts, so that the power of the engine is transmitted to the torque-limiting part 20 via this torque-resistant connection. The carrier plate 21 can be rotatably arranged around the rotation axis X of the torque-limiting vibration damper, and the rotation axis X here also refers to the rotation axis X of the input shaft of the gearbox. One or two axial side surfaces of the carrier plate 21 are rough surfaces, so that friction fit can be formed with the friction lining 22.

[0032] The friction lining 22 is substantially annular and is rotatably arranged about the rotation axis X of the torque limiting vibration damper. The carrier plate 21 and the friction lining 22 are rotatably arranged relative to each other. The friction lining 22 is not fixedly mounted relative to the carrier plate 21, but is mounted to abut against the axial side surface of the carrier plate 21 under the action of the axial preload of the diaphragm spring 24. The axial side surface of the friction lining 22 is a rough surface, thereby forming a friction fit between the carrier plate 21 and the friction lining 22.

[0033] This torque transmission through friction can limit the torque transmitted between the bearing plate 21 and the friction lining 22 to a certain upper limit value, that is, when the torque transmitted between the bearing plate 21 and the friction lining 22 exceeds the upper limit value, the bearing plate 21 and the friction lining 22 slip relative to each other. In other words, the torque limiting damper cannot transmit a torque exceeding the upper limit value between the bearing plate 21 and the friction lining 22, and can dissipate the excess torque exceeding the upper limit value by slipping. The upper limit value can be, for example, 300 N·m, which is determined by the friction coefficient and the friction radius of the friction lining 22. Of course, those skilled in the art should understand that the upper limit value can fluctuate within the allowable error range.

[0034] Thus, when the torque input by the engine does not exceed the upper limit, the carrier plate 21 and the friction lining 22 will rotate synchronously as a whole, and when the torque input by the engine exceeds the upper limit, the friction lining 22 will twist relative to the carrier plate 21, so as to convert the part of the received torque that is greater than the upper limit into heat and consume it by means of the relative twisting between the friction lining 22 and the carrier plate 21, thereby limiting the torque that exceeds the upper limit from being transmitted between the carrier plate 21 and the friction lining 22. Therefore, when the engine has a large impact, the torque limiting portion 20 can suppress the damage of the components caused by the large impact, thereby protecting the components located downstream of its torque path, ensuring the service life of the components, and ensuring the reliable operation of the power transmission device.

[0035] Based on the application environment requirements and slip torque requirements of the torque limiting vibration damper, the friction lining 22 can be made of dry friction material or wet friction material. The friction lining 22 can well control the friction coefficient between different components of the torque limiting vibration damper by adjusting its surface roughness and selecting dry or wet friction material. Thus, the upper limit value of the transmitted torque can be defined accurately and in a controlled manner, so that when the upper limit value is exceeded, the bearing plate 21 and the friction lining 22 slip relative to each other to prevent excessive torque.

[0036] The friction lining 22 can be arranged on both axial sides of the bearing plate 21, so that it can form a friction fit with the two axial side surfaces of the bearing plate 21 respectively. Figure 3 As shown, the friction lining 22 includes a first friction lining 22A and a second friction lining 22B, the first friction lining 22A is arranged on the axial left side of the bearing plate 21, and the second friction lining 22B is arranged on the axial right side of the bearing plate 21, and is arranged between the bearing plate 21 and the support ring 23. When the torque limiting part 20 is impacted, the first friction lining 22A and the second friction lining 22B can both be twisted relative to the bearing plate 21. In this way, the two opposite sides of the bearing plate 21 are respectively against the first friction lining 22A and the second friction lining 22B, thereby allowing the torque that does not exceed the upper limit value to be uniformly transmitted through the friction cooperation between the bearing plate 21 and the first friction lining 22A and the friction cooperation between the bearing plate 21 and the second friction lining 22B, thereby reducing the vibration and noise caused by the unbalanced force between the components of the torque limiting part 20.

[0037] Here, the number of the first friction lining 22A and the second friction lining 22B are both one, but the number of the first friction lining 22A and the second friction lining 22B can be more than one according to the actual need of torque limiting. The first friction lining 22A and the second friction lining 22B can be made of the same material or different materials.

[0038] The support ring 23 is arranged on a side of the second friction lining 22B away from the carrier plate 21 and is connected to the second friction lining 22B in a torque-resistant manner, so that the second friction lining 22B and the support ring 23 can be twisted relative to the carrier plate 21. The support ring 23 is configured to enable the carrier plate 21 and the second friction lining 22B to be axially tightly abutted, so that the carrier plate 21 and the second friction lining 22B can transmit torque through friction fit.

[0039] The diaphragm spring 24 is disposed between the support ring 23 and the pressure plate 26, and can load an axial preload toward the second friction lining 22B via the support ring 23. Specifically, the outer periphery of the diaphragm spring 24 abuts against the support ring 23 to obtain a fulcrum located at the outer periphery; the inner periphery of the diaphragm spring 24 abuts against the pressure plate 26 described later to obtain a fulcrum located at the inner periphery. Figure 3As shown, the pressure plate 26 may be formed with a step portion for abutting against the inner circumference of the diaphragm spring 24, thereby axially and radially positioning the diaphragm spring 24. By adjusting the size (e.g., degree of deformation) of the diaphragm spring 24, the axial preload applied by the pressure plate 26 to the friction lining 22 and the bearing plate 21 may be adjusted, thereby adjusting the maximum static friction force to which these components are subjected (i.e., the static friction force from the cover plate 25 and the pressure plate 26 to both sides of the bearing plate 21 and the friction lining 22 during the torque transmission operation of the torque limiting damper), which corresponds to the upper limit value of the torque that the torque limiting damper can transmit.

[0040] The cover plate 25 and the pressure plate 26 are rotatably arranged around the rotation axis X of the torque damper, and the cover plate 25 and the pressure plate 26 are connected to each other in a torque-resistant manner, and clamp the carrier plate 21, the friction lining 22 and the support ring 23 therebetween. Specifically, the cover plate 25 is arranged on the side of the first friction lining 22A away from the carrier plate 21, and is connected to the first friction lining 22A in a torque-resistant manner. The pressure plate 26 is arranged on the side of the support ring 23 away from the carrier plate 21 and is connected to the support ring 23 in a torque-resistant manner, and the support ring 23 is connected to the second friction lining 22B in a torque-resistant manner, and the cover plate 25 and the pressure plate 26 are connected to each other in a torque-resistant manner. Therefore, when the torque input by the engine exceeds the upper limit value, the first friction lining 22A and the cover plate 25 connected to the first friction lining 22A in a torque-resistant manner, as well as the second friction lining 22B and the support ring 23, the diaphragm spring 24, and the pressure plate 26 connected to the second friction lining 22B in a torque-resistant manner will be twisted relative to the bearing plate 21 at the same time, thereby limiting the torque exceeding the upper limit value from being transmitted between the bearing plate 21 and the friction lining 22, so as to play a torque limiting protection function. That is, in the torque limiting part 20, the bearing plate 21 is the active part, and the cover plate 25, the friction lining 22, the support ring 23, the diaphragm spring 24, and the pressure plate 26 constitute a driven part that can be twisted relative to the active part, so as to limit the torque that does not exceed the upper limit value from being transmitted between the active part and the driven part.

[0041] Below, refer to Figure 4 and Figure 5 The specific structure of the support ring 23 according to the embodiment of the present invention is described.

[0042] The support ring 23 includes a ring body 231 and a limiting protrusion 232 connected to the inner circumference of the ring body 231. The limiting protrusion 232 extends along the axial direction of the torque limiter, so that the inner circumference of the supporting plate 21 abuts against the limiting protrusion 232. The limiting protrusion 232 can radially limit the supporting plate 21, thereby not only preventing the torque limiter from radial eccentricity when impact sliding occurs, but also preventing the torque limiter from falling from a height and causing radial eccentricity during transportation or handling, thereby preventing NVH noise from occurring after the entire vehicle is impacted and extending the service life of the torque limiter.

[0043] like Figure 4 As shown, the limiting protrusion 232 is formed on the inner periphery of the ring body 231 and extends from an axial side surface of the ring body 231 along the axial direction toward the bearing plate 21. In other words, the limiting protrusion 232 is a bent structure formed on the inner periphery of the ring body 231, which can abut against the inner periphery of the bearing plate 21. There can be multiple limiting protrusions 232. Figure 4 Four are shown in the figure. Multiple limiting protrusions 232 are evenly and spacedly arranged along the circumference of the support ring 23. This arrangement can further prevent the bearing plate 21 from being radially eccentric when it is impacted or hit, thereby reducing NVH noise and extending the service life of the torque limiting vibration damper.

[0044] Preferably, the connection between each limiting protrusion 232 and the ring body 231 forms an arc transition, thereby avoiding cracks caused by stress concentration at the connection position between the limiting protrusion 232 and the ring body 231.

[0045] In addition, if Figure 4 As shown, the support ring 23 includes a plurality of fixing protrusions 233 that protrude from the ring body 231 in the axial direction, and the second friction lining 22B is correspondingly provided with a plurality of grooves (not shown), and the plurality of fixing protrusions 233 can be correspondingly inserted into the plurality of grooves along the axial direction of the torque limiting vibration damper, so that the support ring 23 and the second friction lining 22B are connected in a torque-resistant manner. The plurality of fixing protrusions 233 are evenly spaced along the circumference of the support ring 23, and each fixing protrusion 233 protrudes from the ring body 231 in the axial direction, so that when the plurality of fixing protrusions 233 are correspondingly inserted into the plurality of grooves, the stable surface contact between the support ring 23 and the second friction lining 22B can be maintained. It is described above that the support ring 23 is provided with fixing protrusions 233 and the second friction lining 22B is provided with corresponding grooves, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the support ring can be provided with a plurality of grooves, and the friction lining abutting against the support ring can be provided with a plurality of fixing protrusions that can be inserted into the grooves. In addition, the above description states that the support ring 23 and the friction lining 22B are fixed to each other via the protrusions and grooves that fit each other, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the support ring 23 may be fixedly connected to the second friction lining 22B via an adhesive or the like.

[0046] Continue to refer Figure 4The support ring 23 also includes a plurality of positioning protrusions 234 extending radially inward from the inner circumference of the ring body 231. The positioning protrusions 234 are arranged at positions different from the limiting protrusions 232 along the circumference of the support ring 23. For example, each limiting protrusion 232 is arranged between two positioning protrusions 234 along the circumference of the support ring 23. During the installation of the torque limiting vibration damper, these positioning protrusions 234 can be easily aligned and positioned with other components, thereby facilitating assembly. In addition, the radial extension length of the positioning protrusion 234 is greater than the radial extension length of the limiting protrusion 232, so that interference between the two during the installation process can be avoided. The support ring 23 can be supported by stamping or the like. Therefore, the support ring 23 according to the embodiment of the present invention has low cost and high precision.

[0047] Continue to refer to Figure 2 and Figure 3 The damping part 30 of the torque limiting damper is described below. The damping part 30 is mounted on the radial inner side of the torque limiting part 20 through the cover plate 25 and the pressure plate 26, and is connected to the input shaft of the gearbox through the disc hub 10. Figure 2 and Figure 3 As shown, the vibration damping part 30 includes a flange 31 connected between the cover plate 25 and the pressure plate 26 in an axial direction of the torque limiting vibration damper in a torque-resistant manner, and the cover plate 25, the pressure plate 26 and the flange 31 are provided with a plurality of mounting grooves at corresponding positions, and a vibration damping spring 32 is installed in each mounting groove. Exemplarily, there are two flanges 31, and the two flanges 31 are arranged in parallel along the axial direction between the cover plate 25 and the pressure plate 26, wherein one of the two flanges 31 (for example, the left flange 31) is idlingly sleeved on the disc hub 10, and the other (for example, the right flange 31) is connected to the disc hub 10 in a torque-resistant manner.

[0048] Since the cover plate 25, the flange 31 and the pressure plate 26 are fixedly connected to each other via fixing bolts, the torque transmitted via the torque limiting part 20 can be first transmitted from the cover plate 25 and the pressure plate 26 through the fixing bolts to the flange 31 idlingly mounted on the disc hub 10, and the flange 31 can then transmit the torque to the damping spring 32, and then the damping spring 32 deforms in the circumferential direction, thereby transmitting the torque to the flange 31 connected to the disc hub 10 in a torque-resistant manner, and then the disc hub 10 will transmit the torque to the input shaft of the gearbox through a spline or other connection.

[0049] Preferably, there are multiple damping springs 32. Figure 1 Four are shown in the figure, and the plurality of damping springs 32 are evenly spaced and installed in corresponding mounting grooves along the circumferential direction, thereby transmitting torque more evenly, thereby reducing vibration and noise caused by unbalanced force between components of the torque limiting vibration damper.

[0050] The above description shows that the torque limiting vibration damper according to the present invention is a double flange 31 torque limiting vibration damper, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the number of flanges 31 can be one, so the torque limiting vibration damper according to the present invention can also be a single flange 31 torque limiting vibration damper. In addition, the support ring 23 according to the present invention can also be used in a dual mass flywheel torque limiting vibration damper, etc.

[0051] Although the present invention has been described with reference to preferred embodiments, various modifications may be made thereto and elements thereof may be replaced by equivalents without departing from the scope of the present invention. In particular, the various technical features mentioned in the various embodiments may be combined in any manner as long as there is no structural conflict. The present invention is not limited to the specific embodiments disclosed herein, but includes all technical solutions falling within the scope of the claims.
