Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of diamond wire preparation, and in particular relates to a collaborative strengthening and toughening production process method for diamond wire. Background Art
[0002] Diamond wire is a linear product made of high carbon steel, processed by cold drawing, cold rolling and other processes. According to different uses, diamond wire can be further processed into different shapes and specifications. Due to its high strength and wear resistance, it has a wide range of applications in many industrial and engineering fields, such as spring manufacturing, wire rope production, tool steel products, mechanical parts, cable sheathing, and the manufacture of wire mesh and wire cloth. It plays an important role in many occasions such as lifting equipment, construction, mining, machinery manufacturing and cable protection.
[0003] In the production process of diamond wire, cutting speed is a parameter that needs to be strictly controlled. The high strength of diamond wire can withstand higher cutting speeds and loads, thereby significantly improving cutting efficiency, which is particularly critical in large-scale industrial production and can effectively reduce cutting time and improve production efficiency. However, while diamond wire has high hardness and strength, its corresponding toughness and plasticity are low, which makes it easy to break under high loads and high speeds, and the continuity and stability of the cutting process cannot be guaranteed, which in turn reduces the cutting accuracy and quality. Therefore, the strength and toughness coordinated design of diamond wire is of great significance in industrial applications, especially in improving cutting efficiency and accuracy.
[0004] The invention patent application with publication number CN107841606A, "A method for improving the breaking force and strength of diamond wire busbar", improves the breaking force and strength by drawing, electroplating and then aging at 60-120℃ for 60-80min, but the aging time is long, resulting in an extended production cycle and increased production costs. The invention patent application with publication number CN115106391A, "An improved high-carbon steel diamond wire and preparation process", improves the performance of the diamond wire by drawing twice and annealing at 100-150℃ for 0.5-2h after the first drawing, but the annealing temperature of this method is low and the time is long, which increases production energy consumption and production cycle.
[0005] How to improve the production efficiency and reduce the production cost of diamond wire synergistic strengthening is still an urgent problem to be solved in this field. Summary of the invention
[0006] In order to solve the problems of low production efficiency and high cost of the existing diamond wire synergistic strengthening and toughening methods, the present invention provides a diamond wire synergistic strengthening and toughening production process method.
[0007] The technical solution of the present invention:
[0008] A collaborative strengthening and toughening production process method for diamond wires comprises the following steps: drawing a wire rod for the first time to obtain a diamond wire, subjecting the diamond wire obtained by the first drawing to a first austenitizing heat treatment, drawing the wire rod for the second time after isothermal quenching, subjecting the diamond wire obtained by the second drawing to a second austenitizing heat treatment, drawing the wire rod for the third time after isothermal quenching, subjecting the diamond wire obtained by the third drawing to a low-temperature annealing treatment, and then air-cooling the wire to room temperature; the low-temperature annealing temperature is 520-620°C, and the holding time of the low-temperature annealing is 10s or 20s.
[0009] Furthermore, the diameter of the diamond wire obtained by the first drawing is 2.30 mm.
[0010] Furthermore, the temperature of the first austenitizing heat treatment is 1020° C., and the holding time is 44 seconds.
[0011] Furthermore, the diameter of the diamond wire obtained by the second drawing is 0.73 mm.
[0012] Furthermore, the temperature of the second austenitizing heat treatment is 1020° C., and the holding time is 26 seconds.
[0013] Furthermore, the diameter of the diamond wire obtained by the third drawing is 0.46 mm.
[0014] Furthermore, the isothermal quenching conditions are all 90°C water mixed quenching liquid.
[0015] Furthermore, the water-mixed quenching liquid contains 6-13% by volume of a high molecular polymer water-soluble quenching liquid.
[0016] Beneficial effects of the present invention:
[0017] The collaborative toughening production process of diamond wire provided by the present invention utilizes low temperature annealing to eliminate tissue stress, retain the drawing deformation structure, achieve the purpose of work hardening, maintain strength while quickly and effectively obtaining higher plasticity, and realize the collaborative toughening production of diamond wire. The tensile strength of the diamond wire obtained by the collaborative toughening production of the present invention reaches 1512-2049MPa after five tensile tests, and the cross-sectional shrinkage rate is 38.1-60.7%.
[0018] The diamond wire produced by synergistic strengthening can ensure that it is not easy to break under high load and high speed, maintain the continuity and stability of the cutting process, and further improve the cutting accuracy and quality; at the same time, the service life of the diamond wire is also extended. It can deform when subjected to force but is not easy to break. It maintains good performance during long-term high-intensity use, reduces replacement frequency, and reduces production costs.
[0019] Compared with the existing low-temperature annealing process, the annealing time of the present invention is greatly shortened, thereby effectively shortening the entire production cycle, which not only improves the production efficiency, but also further reduces the production cost of the synergistically strengthened diamond wire. [0132] Compared with the existing process, the diamond wire produced by the low-temperature annealing process of the present invention has both higher strength and plasticity.
[0133] The microstructures of the diamond wire after the third drawing of low-temperature embodiment 1, the diamond wire after low-temperature annealing of embodiment 1, and the diamond wire after the third austenitizing heat treatment of comparative example 1 were compared using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Figure 1 , Figure 2 and Figure 3As shown in the figure, after the third drawing, the structure is severely deformed. Compared with the process designed by the present invention, the austenitization process has a high heating temperature and a long holding time, and recrystallization occurs, presenting pearlite with uniform interlamellar spacing. The low-temperature annealing heating temperature is low and the holding time is short, which eliminates the deformation resistance but retains the deformed structure, achieving the purpose of work hardening. Thus, while maintaining high strength, high plasticity is quickly and effectively obtained, realizing the coordinated strengthening and toughening production of diamond wire.
