Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present application relates to the technical field of natural gas dehydration, and particularly relates to a misting absorber for natural gas dehydration. BACKGROUND

[0002] Excessive moisture contained in the mined natural gas can cause pipeline liquid accumulation and form a slug flow, which on one hand intensifies the corrosion rate of the pipeline and on the other hand increases the conveying pressure of the natural gas. The gas gathering pipelines of shale gas fields in the southwest region of China are generally installed in mountainous areas with large terrain undulations, and liquid accumulation is serious at low-lying parts of the pipeline, which leads to an increase in the back pressure of the gas well and a decrease in the production of the gas field. If low-temperature weather is encountered, the liquid water separated out can also form hydrates in the pipeline, block the pipeline and cause the gas well to stop production.

[0003] At present, the natural gas dehydration technologies mainly include low-temperature dehydration technology, triethylene glycol solvent absorption dehydration technology and molecular sieve adsorption dehydration technology. The low-temperature dehydration technology is to liquefy the gaseous water by using high-pressure natural gas throttling expansion cooling, and this process is suitable for high-pressure natural gas. The triethylene glycol solvent absorption dehydration technology is the most widely used in the natural gas treatment process, and the natural gas is dehydrated by contacting with the solvent in the absorption tower, and the solvent is regenerated by heating in the regeneration tower. The absorption tower and the regeneration tower have large volume, large land occupation, large weight and are not convenient for transportation. The molecular sieve adsorption dehydration technology adopts a double-tower or triple-tower adsorption process, and is generally used for natural gas light hydrocarbon recovery or LNG deep dehydration. However, the molecular sieve adsorption dehydration technology has the disadvantages of complex process control and high energy consumption.

[0004] In the prior art, the natural gas dehydration can only be carried out in a centralized dehydration treatment station. However, in the process of centrally conveying the natural gas with high water content rate produced at the wellhead to the centralized treatment station, the gaseous water is easy to separate out and form free water in the conveying pipeline, thereby causing liquid accumulation. In severe cases, freezing and blocking can also occur, which affects the conveying of the natural gas and the production of the gas well.

[0005] In U.S. Patent No. 7,128,276, Statoil ASA of Norway proposed a tubular gas-liquid mixing method and designed a tubular turbulent contactor structure for the selective absorption of acidic gases. This solution incorporates a Venturi structure within the pipe. Liquid is injected through a narrow slit on the converging cone of the Venturi tube, where it forms a liquid film. This film then breaks away from the cone at the throat and enters the airflow, where it is broken into small droplets. Gas-liquid atomization and mixing are achieved in the Venturi expansion section and the downstream straight pipe section. This solution utilizes a wall-to-centrifugal injection method, preventing the liquid film from entering the throat and downstream high-speed airflow zones for atomization. Consequently, the gas energy in the high-speed airflow zone is not effectively utilized for liquid film atomization, resulting in poor uniformity in liquid film breakup and atomization. In the case of large pipe diameters and small liquid injection volumes, the atomized droplets are unevenly distributed in the downstream pipeline, resulting in poor gas-liquid atomization and mixing. To improve the uniformity of gas-liquid atomization mixing under large-diameter pipe conditions, U.S. Patent US20170043306 improves the structural solution in the above patent. By setting up multiple converging cones in the pipe, the uniformity of the initial distribution of liquid in large-diameter pipes is improved, thereby improving the uniformity of the atomized droplets and the atomized mixing of the airflow in the pipe. However, the liquid still breaks up and atomizes into small droplets in the form of a liquid film in the airflow. The liquid film has difficulty entering the high-speed airflow and being atomized into uniform small droplets. The droplet size distribution formed by this atomization method is wide, with more large droplets, which is not conducive to increasing the gas-liquid contact area.

[0006] Although tubular gas-liquid contact absorbers have been applied to natural gas purification and processing, and their technical advantages are evident in the development of offshore oil and gas fields, existing tubular gas-liquid co-current contact absorbers still suffer from limitations such as large atomization pressure differential, low efficiency, poor atomization droplet size uniformity, and irrational droplet generation methods, limiting their application in industrial production. Summary of the Invention

[0007] In view of the above problems existing in the prior art, the present invention provides an atomizing absorber for natural gas dehydration, which can atomize the dehydrating agent twice to improve the atomization efficiency and effect of the dehydrating agent.

[0008] The present invention solves the technical problem by adopting a technical solution: providing an atomizing absorber for natural gas dehydration, comprising:

[0009] an atomizing pipe, for installation on a natural gas transmission pipeline, wherein the inner wall of the atomizing pipe is provided with a re-atomizing portion extending radially inward; and

[0010] an atomizing cone coaxially mounted within the atomizing pipe and downstream of the re-atomizing section, the atomizing cone being configured to spray a dehydrating agent toward an inlet end of the atomizing pipe, the dehydrating agent being atomized into liquid droplets under the action of natural gas entering the atomizing pipe and the atomizing cone, the liquid droplets being able to converge into a liquid film on the inner wall of the atomizing pipe downstream of the atomizing cone;

[0011] The re-atomization unit is configured to atomize the liquid film into liquid droplets again.

[0012] Furthermore, the re-atomization section includes a first surface facing the inlet end, and the first surface is configured to gradually reduce the inner diameter of the atomization tube along the flow direction of the natural gas, so that the liquid film is atomized into droplets again at the top of the re-atomization section.

[0013] Furthermore, the re-atomization section also includes a second surface facing the outlet end of the atomization tube, and the second surface is configured to form a groove with the inner wall of the atomization tube, so that the natural gas can form a vortex in the groove, so that the droplets obtained by re-atomization are away from the inner wall of the atomization tube.

[0014] Furthermore, a plurality of re-atomization parts are axially arranged on the inner wall of the atomization tube, and angles between the first surfaces of the plurality of re-atomization parts and the tube wall of the atomization tube increase with the distance from the atomization cone.

[0015] Furthermore, a surface tension modifying coating is coated on the inner surface of the atomizing tube in the downstream direction of the atomizing cone, so as to reduce the adhesion of the dehydrating agent on the inner surface of the atomizing tube.

[0016] Furthermore, the atomizing cone includes a first atomizing portion facing the inlet end, and a first flow channel for injecting a dehydrating agent and a second flow channel for spraying the dehydrating agent are provided in the atomizing cone. The outlet of the second flow channel is located on the conical surface of the first atomizing portion, so that the sprayed dehydrating agent can act on the conical surface of the first atomizing portion and be atomized.

[0017] Furthermore, the atomizing cone further includes a second atomizing portion facing the outlet end, and the second atomizing portion is configured to enable the liquid film on the surface of the atomizing cone to be atomized into liquid droplets at the tip of the second atomizing portion.

[0018] Furthermore, the diameters of the bottom surfaces of the first atomizing part and the second atomizing part are 0.7 to 0.8 times the inner diameter of the atomizing tube, so that the flow cross section of the natural gas at the atomizing cone changes suddenly.

[0019] Furthermore, the first vertex angle of the first atomizing portion is α, and the second vertex angle of the second atomizing portion is β.

[0020] Among them, α>β, so that the flow cross section of natural gas suddenly decreases at the conical surface of the first atomizing part and slowly increases at the conical surface of the second atomizing part, so that the flow velocity of the natural gas flowing through the atomizing cone increases rapidly and then decreases slowly.

[0021] Furthermore, an injection pipe connected to the first flow channel is provided on the atomizing cone, and an end of the injection pipe passes through the tube wall of the atomizing pipe so as to inject the pressurized dehydrating agent into the first flow channel.

[0022] The beneficial effects of the present invention are as follows: the present invention provides an atomizing absorber for natural gas dehydration, comprising an atomizing tube for installation on a natural gas transmission pipeline and an atomizing cone coaxially installed in the atomizing tube. A re-atomizing portion extending radially inward is provided on the inner wall of the atomizing tube. The atomizing cone is configured to spray a dehydrating agent toward the inlet end of the atomizing tube, and atomize the dehydrating agent into droplets through the natural gas flowing from the inlet end to the outlet end of the atomizing tube, and the droplets can converge into a liquid film on the inner wall of the atomizing tube downstream of the atomizing cone. The re-atomizing portion is configured to atomize the liquid film into droplets again, thereby achieving secondary atomization of the dehydrating agent. The atomizing absorber achieves an atomization rate of the dehydrating agent of more than 90% through secondary atomization, significantly increases the contact area between the dehydrating agent and the natural gas, and effectively improves the dehydration effect of the natural gas. In addition, the re-atomization section in the atomization tube not only increases the renewal frequency of the contact surface between the dehydrating agent and the natural gas, but also increases the mixing uniformity of the dehydrating agent and the natural gas, thereby increasing the absorption of gaseous water in the natural gas by the atomizing absorber and reducing the amount of dehydrating agent used. [0030] In order to make the technical problems, technical solutions and beneficial effects to be solved by the present invention clearer, the present invention is now described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. This figure is a simplified schematic diagram, which only illustrates the basic structure of the present invention in a schematic manner, and therefore only shows the components related to the present invention. Obviously, the described embodiments are part of the embodiments of the present invention, not all of the embodiments. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by ordinary technicians in this field without making creative work are within the scope of protection of the present invention.

[0031] refer to Figure 1 As shown, the present invention provides an atomizing absorber 100 for natural gas dehydration, comprising an atomizing tube 10 for installation on a natural gas transmission pipeline, and an atomizing cone 20 coaxially mounted within the atomizing tube 10. Natural gas with a high water content can flow into the atomizing tube 10 through the inlet end 11, undergo dehydration treatment with a dehydrating agent atomized by the atomizing cone 20, and then flow out of the atomizing tube 10 through the outlet end 12, thereby reducing the water content of the natural gas. The atomizing cone 20 increases the flow rate of the natural gas, causing the dehydrating agent sprayed from the atomizing cone 20 to atomize and form fine droplets, thereby increasing the contact area between the natural gas and the dehydrating agent and improving dehydration efficiency.

[0032] In some embodiments, the atomizing absorber 100 can be connected to the natural gas transmission pipeline by flange connection, welding, etc. A plurality of atomizing absorbers 100 can be arranged at intervals or in sequence on the natural gas pipeline to further improve the efficiency and effect of natural gas dehydration.

[0033] refer to Figures 1-3As shown, in some embodiments, the atomizing cone 20 includes a first atomizing portion 21 facing the inlet end 11 of the atomizing tube 10, and a second atomizing portion 22 facing the outlet end 12 of the atomizing tube 10. The first atomizing portion 21 and the second atomizing portion 22 are both conical structures, and the bottom surfaces of the first atomizing portion 21 and the second atomizing portion 22 are the same size and opposite to each other. A first flow channel 23 for injecting a dehydrating agent and a second flow channel 24 for spraying a dehydrating agent are provided in the atomizing cone 20, and the first flow channel 23 and the second flow channel 24 are connected. Among them, the outlet 241 of the second flow channel 24 is located on the conical surface of the first atomizing portion 21, and two, three or more second flow channels 24 and outlets 241 can be provided.

[0034] In some embodiments, a pressurized dehydrating agent is injected into the first flow channel 23 and then sprayed from the second flow channel 24, located at the outlet 241 on the conical surface of the first atomizing section 21, toward the inlet end 11 of the atomizing tube 10. Under the influence of the high-speed natural gas flow, the sprayed dehydrating agent acts on the conical surface of the first atomizing section 21 and forms droplets, achieving an atomization effect. These droplets flow toward the outlet end 12 along with the natural gas flow. During this process, the droplets formed by the dehydrating agent continuously absorb gaseous water from the natural gas, thereby continuously reducing the water content of the natural gas.

[0035] In addition, some of the sprayed dehydrating agent forms a liquid film on the surface of the atomizing cone 20. Under the action of the natural gas airflow, the liquid film flows from the conical surface of the first atomizing section 21 through the conical surface of the second atomizing section 22, and then leaves the atomizing cone 20 in the form of droplets at the tip of the second atomizing section 22. The dehydrating agent transforms from a liquid film to droplets at the tip of the second atomizing section 22, thereby further improving the atomization efficiency of the dehydrating agent and, in turn, the absorption effect of gaseous water in the natural gas. In some preferred embodiments, the atomizing cone 20 is capable of atomizing the dehydrating agent into droplets with a diameter of 50 to 60 microns.

[0036] In some embodiments, the bottom diameter of the first atomizing section 21 and the second atomizing section 22 is 0.7 to 0.8 times the inner diameter of the atomizing tube 10, so that the flow cross-section of the natural gas at the atomizing cone 20 produces a larger mutation. The natural gas can increase its flow rate faster when flowing through the first atomizing section 21, thereby improving the atomization efficiency and effect of the dehydrating agent. In addition, after being guided by the first atomizing section 21 and the second atomizing section 22, the natural gas will move in a turbulent form behind the atomizing cone 20. The droplets formed by the atomization of the dehydrating agent are evenly dispersed in the turbulent natural gas, so that the droplets can fully contact the natural gas, thereby improving the dehydration efficiency of the dehydrating agent.

[0037] Combine Figure 3As shown, in some embodiments, the first top angle 211 of the first atomizing section 21 is α, and the second top angle of the second atomizing section 22 is β. Wherein, α>β. Since the bottom surfaces relative to the first atomizing section 21 and the second atomizing section 22 are the same size, the dehydrating agent can act on the conical surface of the first atomizing section 21 at a larger angle. And since the flow cross section of natural gas suddenly decreases at the first atomizing section 21, the natural gas can quickly obtain the maximum flow rate when flowing through the conical surface of the first atomizing section 21, thereby enhancing the atomization effect of the dehydrating agent. The flow cross section of natural gas slowly increases at the second atomizing section 22, and the flow rate of natural gas when flowing through the conical surface of the second atomizing section 22 decreases relatively slowly. This can, on the one hand, enable the dehydrating agent that has been atomized into droplets to move a longer distance, increase the contact time between the dehydrating agent and natural gas, and thus improve the absorption effect of gaseous water in natural gas. On the other hand, the liquid film formed by the dehydrating agent on the second atomizing portion 22 can be brought to the tip of the second atomizing portion 22 more quickly, thereby further improving the atomization efficiency of the dehydrating agent. In some preferred embodiments, the angle α of the first vertex angle 211 is in the range of 50° to 60°, and the angle β of the second vertex angle 221 is in the range of 10° to 20°. In some specific embodiments, when the angle α of the first vertex angle 211, the angle β of the second vertex angle 221, and the bottom diameter of the first atomizing portion 21 determined according to the inner diameter of the atomizing tube 10 are known, the overall length of the atomizing cone 20 can be easily obtained through a simple trigonometric function relationship.

[0038] Recombination Figures 1-3 In some embodiments, the atomizing cone 20 is further provided with an injection pipe 25 connected to the first flow channel 23. The end of the injection pipe 25 passes through the wall of the atomizing tube 10 and is connected to an external device (not shown) for storing a dehydrating agent. The dehydrating agent is pressurized and then injected into the first flow channel 23 through the injection pipe 25, so that the dehydrating agent can be sprayed out from the outlet 241 of the second flow channel 24.

[0039] In some embodiments, the atomizing cone 20 is further provided with a mounting member 26 to facilitate mounting the atomizing cone 20 at the center of the atomizing tube 10 so that the atomizing cone 20 can be coaxial with the atomizing tube 10. In this embodiment, the mounting member 26 is generally plate-shaped. Three mounting members 26 are provided, and the three mounting members 26 are evenly arranged around the circumference of the atomizing cone 20.

[0040] refer to Figure 1 and Figure 4As shown, in some embodiments, the inner wall of the atomizing tube 10 is further provided with a re-atomizing portion 13 located in the downstream direction of the atomizing cone 20. The re-atomizing portion 13 is generally an annular structure protruding radially from the inner wall of the atomizing tube 10, and is capable of gradually reducing the diameter of the atomizing tube 10 in the flow direction of the natural gas. The re-atomizing portion 13 includes a first face 131 inclined towards the atomizing cone 20 and a second face 132 facing away from the atomizing cone 20. In some embodiments, due to the fact that the tube wall of the atomizing tube 10 is not absolutely smooth and under the viscous effect of the fluid, the flow velocity of the natural gas gradually decreases radially outward when flowing in the atomizing tube 10. That is, the flow velocity of the natural gas in the center of the atomizing tube 10 is greater than that near the tube wall. Therefore, after the dehydrating agent atomized into droplets at the atomizing cone 20 moves a distance with the natural gas, it is easy to gather and form a liquid film on the tube wall of the atomizing tube 10, so that the contact area of the dehydrating agent with the natural gas is reduced. After simulation and experimental analysis, it is found that about 20% to 30% of the dehydrating agent will gather and adhere to the inner wall of the atomizing tube 10.

[0041] In some embodiments, the first face 131 is configured to gradually reduce the diameter of the atomizing tube 10 in the flow direction of the natural gas, so as to reduce the flow cross section of the natural gas. The flow velocity of the natural gas at the re-atomizing portion 13 is increased again, so that the natural gas can drive the liquid film formed on the tube wall of the atomizing tube 10 to move along the first face 131 towards the axial direction, and the liquid film is atomized again into droplets at the top of the re-atomizing portion 13. The dehydrating agent is again in the form of droplets moving with the natural gas to the outlet end 12 of the atomizing tube 10, thereby increasing the contact area of the dehydrating agent with the natural gas again and improving the dehydration effect.

[0042] In some embodiments, the cross section of the second face 132 is arranged to extend in an arc shape bending towards the first face 131, so that a groove 133 is formed between the re-atomizing portion 13 and the tube wall of the atomizing tube 10. Due to the fact that the flow velocity of the natural gas flowing through the first face 131 is greater than that near the tube wall, there is a pressure difference between the natural gas flowing through the first face 131 and the natural gas near the tube wall, thereby forming a vortex in the groove 133. The rotation direction of the vortex is tangent to the flow direction of the natural gas. The droplets formed by the re-atomization at the top of the re-atomizing portion 13 are thrown out along the tangential direction of the first face 131 and away from the tube wall of the atomizing tube 10 under the centrifugal force of the vortex, so that the droplets of the dehydrating agent can move a further distance with the natural gas.

[0043] In combination Figure 3As shown, in some embodiments, multiple re-atomization sections 13 are axially arranged on the inner wall of the atomizing tube 10 to improve the atomization efficiency of the dehydrating agent. In some embodiments, the distance between the first re-atomization section 13 and the atomizing cone 20 is 3 to 4 times the diameter of the atomizing tube 10, and the distance between the re-atomization sections 13 and the re-atomization sections 13 is also 3 to 4 times the diameter of the atomizing tube 10. The angle γ between the first surface 131 of the re-atomization section 13 and the tube wall of the atomizing tube 10, as well as the length s of the re-atomization section 13, can be determined through simulation design. In some preferred embodiments, the angle γ between the first surface 131 of the re-atomization section 13 and the tube wall of the atomizing tube 10 is in the range of 10° to 15°. The length s of the atomizing section is in the range of 50 mm to 60 mm. In other embodiments, the angle γ between the first surfaces 131 of the multiple re-atomization sections 13 and the tube wall of the atomization tube 10 gradually increases as the distance between the re-atomization section 13 and the atomization cone 20 increases, so that the natural gas can increase its flow rate at the end of the atomization tube 10, thereby improving the atomization effect of the liquid film at the end of the atomization tube 10.

[0044] In some embodiments, the surface of the re-atomization section 13 downstream of the atomization cone 20 and the inner surface of the atomization tube 10 are coated with a surface tension-modifying coating. The surface tension-modifying coating can reduce the adhesion of the dehydrating agent on the surface of the re-atomization section 13 and the inner surface of the atomization tube 10, facilitate the movement of the dehydrating agent on the inner surface of the atomization tube 10 and facilitate the detachment of the dehydrating agent from the first surface 131 of the re-atomization section 13, and help to re-atomize the dehydrating agent accumulated on the inner surface of the atomization tube 10. The surface tension-modifying coating can be a polyurethane coating, an acrylic resin coating, etc. After atomization by the atomization cone 20 and re-atomization by multiple re-atomization sections 13, the atomization rate of the dehydrating agent can be as high as 90% or more, thereby effectively improving the dehydration effect of natural gas.

[0045] The beneficial effect of the atomizing absorber 100 provided by the present invention is that it includes an atomizing tube 10 for installation on a natural gas transmission pipeline and an atomizing cone 20 coaxially installed in the atomizing tube 10. A re-atomizing portion 13 extending radially inward is provided on the inner wall of the atomizing tube 10. The atomizing cone 20 is configured to spray a dehydrating agent toward the inlet end 11 of the atomizing tube 10, and atomize the dehydrating agent into droplets through the natural gas flowing from the inlet end 11 to the outlet end 12 of the atomizing tube 10. The droplets can converge into a liquid film on the inner wall of the atomizing tube 10 downstream of the atomizing cone 20. Among them, the re-atomizing portion 13 is configured to atomize the liquid film into droplets again, thereby realizing secondary atomization of the dehydrating agent. The atomizing absorber 100 achieves an atomization rate of the dehydrating agent of more than 90% through secondary atomization, significantly increases the contact area between the dehydrating agent and the natural gas, and effectively improves the dehydration effect of the natural gas. In addition, the re-atomization section 13 in the atomization tube 10 not only increases the frequency of updating the contact surface between the dehydrating agent and the natural gas, but also increases the mixing uniformity of the dehydrating agent and the natural gas, thereby increasing the absorption of gaseous water in the natural gas by the atomizing absorber 100 and reducing the amount of dehydrating agent used.
