Socket connector with dual-interface support characteristic and electronic equipment

Abstract

The embodiment of the invention relates to the technical field of connectors, and particularly discloses a socket connector with a dual-interface support characteristic and electronic equipment, and the socket connector comprises a housing assembly, a connection terminal, a first detection terminal and a second detection terminal. The housing assembly includes a first housing provided with a first contact portion and a second contact portion. The connecting terminal is used for being electrically connected with the HDMI connector or the DP connector. When the terminal body is not electrically connected with the DP connector and the HDMI connector, the first contact part and the first detection terminal are disconnected, and the second contact part and the second detection terminal are electrically connected. When the connection terminal is electrically connected with one of the HDMI connector and the DP connector, the first contact part is disconnected with the first detection terminal, and the second contact part is disconnected with the second detection terminal. When the connection terminal is electrically connected with the other one, the first contact part is electrically connected with the first detection terminal. Therefore, the socket connector can adapt to the dual-interface support characteristic.
