The application relates to the technical field of building construction, in particular to a construction method for a foundation and a column foot of a steel structure installed by a sliding method, S1, a foundation stub is once poured, and the upper side of the foundation stub serves as a once-poured surface; S2, a sliding track is installed on the once-poured surface; S3, the steel column foot is connected with a sliding device, and then the steel column foot is integrally installed on the sliding track; the sliding device shifts the steel column foot to a predetermined foundation stub position along the sliding track; S4, the sliding device and the sliding track are removed, and then the steel column foot is connected and positioned with the once-poured surface; S5, secondary pouring is carried out between the steel column foot and the foundation stub; through the design of the once-poured and secondary-poured forms on the foundation stub, enough erection space of the sliding track can be provided during the once pouring, the sliding method construction is difficult to realize due to the narrow space after the integral pouring, and the construction difficulty and cost are increased.
