An ostomy body accessory for forming a seal between an ostomy instrument and an ostomy patient, the ostomy body accessory comprising an adhesive pad and a first removable release layer adhered to a first side of the adhesive pad, the adhesive pad including an ostomy opening formed through the adhesive pad, wherein the first removable release layer includes an image located on its surface, wherein, In the unused state, when viewed from the second side of the adhesive pad opposite the first side, the image is at least partially hidden by a portion of the stoma body accessory, and wherein the portion is movable between a first position and a second position in the unused state, in the second position, when viewed from the second side of the adhesive pad, the image is at least partially revealed through the stoma hole.
