[0005] PATENT LITERATURE
[0006] Patent Literature 1: Utility Model Registration No. 3068963
[0007] PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED BY THE INVENTION
[0008] In the child seat described in Patent Literature 1, for example, there is a case where a large impact due to an accident or the like cannot be sufficiently absorbed, and the large impact is transmitted to the occupant. SUMMARY
[0009] Therefore, an object of the present application is to provide a child seat which can absorb an impact applied to an occupant in a case where a large impact due to an accident or the like is received.
[0010] SOLUTION TO PROBLEM
[0011] The child seat of the present application is provided in a vehicle which can allow a person to get on and off, and has a vehicle-side seat on which the person can sit. The child seat has a seating portion in which the occupant sits, an outer portion of the seating portion being opposed to the vehicle-side seat, and a deformation module. The deformation module has a base portion provided in the seating portion, and a plate-shaped receiving plate portion coupled to the base portion. The receiving plate portion is disposed to be separated from the base portion in an inner-outer direction of the seating portion. The deformation module is configured to deform the receiving plate portion in a manner of approaching the base portion in the inner-outer direction after receiving an impact in the inner-outer direction.
[0012] According to this configuration, the receiving plate portion coupled to the base portion of the deformation module deforms in a manner of approaching the base portion in the inner-outer direction after receiving an impact in the inner-outer direction. Therefore, the impact in the inner-outer direction can be absorbed by the deformation of the deformation module.
[0013] Further, the child seat can be configured such that the receiving plate portion has a deformation main body portion configured by a plate spring that extends along a surface that expands in a direction intersecting the inside-outside direction, and the deformation main body portion is configured to deform in a manner of approaching the base portion in the inside-outside direction after receiving an impact in the inside-outside direction.
[0014] According to this configuration, the impact in the inside-outside direction can be absorbed by deformation of the deformation main body portion configured by the plate spring, and thus the deformation module can absorb the impact in the inside-outside direction in an amount of thickness of the plate spring used for the deformation.
[0015] Further, the child seat can be configured such that a plurality of holes that pass through the inside-outside direction are formed in the deformation main body portion.
[0016] According to this configuration, the deformation performance of the plate spring of the deformation main body portion can be adjusted by the positions, shapes, and number of the holes. Thus, the impact absorbing performance can be adjusted.
[0017] Further, the child seat can be configured such that the base portion has a fixing portion fixed to the seating portion.
[0018] According to this configuration, the deformation module can be fixed to the seating portion by the fixing portion, and thus the deformation module can be prevented from being misaligned with respect to the seating portion due to an impact or the like. Thus, the impact can be reliably absorbed by the deformation module.
[0019] Further, the child seat can be configured such that the seating portion has a rigid body frame portion that has rigidity and has a seating area for the occupant to sit inside, and the deformation module is provided to the rigid body frame portion.
[0020] According to this configuration, since the deformation module is provided to the rigid body frame portion that has rigidity, the impact in the inside-outside direction can be reliably received by the deformation module.
[0021] Further, the child seat can be configured such that the seating portion has a rigid body frame portion that has rigidity and has a seating area for the occupant to sit inside, and an inner liner portion that is sheet-shaped and is provided inside the rigid body frame portion, and the deformation module is provided to the inner liner portion.
[0022] According to this configuration, since the deformation module is provided to the inner liner portion provided inside the rigid body frame portion, the deformation module can be arranged between the occupant and the rigid body frame portion, and the impact generated between the occupant and the rigid body frame portion can be absorbed.
[0023] Further, the child seat can be configured such that the seating portion has a rigid frame portion having rigidity and an inside of which is formed with a seating area for the occupant to sit, and an impact absorbing portion provided outside the rigid frame portion, and the deformation module is provided to the impact absorbing portion.
[0024] According to this configuration, since the deformation module is provided to the impact absorbing portion provided outside the rigid frame portion, when an impact from the outside acts on the rigid frame portion, the impact can be absorbed by the impact absorbing portion, and at the same time, the impact can be absorbed by the deformation of the deformation module, and the impact acting on the occupant can be suppressed via the rigid frame portion.
[0025] Effects of the Invention
[0026] According to the present invention, in a case where a large impact due to an accident or the like is received, the child seat can absorb the impact acting on the occupant. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0041] Reference Figures 1 to 6 A child seat C according to a first embodiment of the present application will be described. For convenience of description, with respect to the front-rear direction, the up-down direction, and the left-right direction, the directions described in the drawings are taken as reference. In addition, with respect to the longitudinal direction, the lateral direction, and the thickness direction of the transformable module 3, the directions described in the drawings are taken as reference. These directions are used for convenience of description, and are not limited to the directions in the state of use or the like. Figure 1 Figure 4
[0042] First, the vehicle in which this child seat C is installed will be described. A vehicle is a moving body capable of carrying and transporting people, such as a car, train, or airplane. A vehicle has side seats for people to sit on. These side seats include seats for the driver and seats for those not driving the vehicle. The child seat C is installed on these side seats, particularly on the side seats for those not driving the vehicle. The child seat C of this embodiment has: a base (not shown) fixed to the side seat; and a seat body 1 installed on the base. The base is, for example, fixed to a latch corresponding to the ISOFIX method used in the vehicle, and cannot move relative to the side seat.
[0043] like Figure 1 and Figure 2 As shown, the seat body 1 includes: a seating section 10 for a passenger (child) to sit on; a seat belt section 2 for securing the passenger to the seating section 10; and a transforming module 3. The seat body 1 of this embodiment is configured to allow a child, as a passenger, to sit in the seating section 10, but is not limited to this structure; it can also be configured to allow, for example, an infant or toddler to sit in a supine position. In other words, sitting refers to the state in which the passenger is enclosed by the seat body 1 in a sitting or supine position.
[0044] The seating section 10 includes: a rigid frame section 11, which is rigid and has a seating area 1a formed inside for a passenger to sit on; and a liner section 12, which is cushioning and is configured to cover the interior of the rigid frame section 11. The seating section 10 is configured such that a passenger can sit in the seating area 1a inside, and its outer side is opposite to the vehicle-side seat.
[0045] The rigid frame portion 11 is configured to surround the rear and sides of the seating area 1a, and has rigidity to a degree that prevents deformation when a passenger sits on the seating area 1a. In addition, it has higher rigidity than the inner lining portion 12 and the deformable module 3. Specifically, the rigid frame portion 11 includes: a seat portion 13 forming a seat surface opposite to the passenger's buttocks; a backrest 14 abutting against the passenger's back; seat side portions 15 connecting the left and right ends of the seat portion 13 and the backrest 14 and defining the left and right ends of the seating area 1a; a headrest 16 abutting against the passenger's head; and a height adjustment portion 17 for adjusting the height of the backrest 14 and the headrest 16.
[0046] The seat portion 13 is a plate-like body that forms the lower end of the seating portion 10. This plate-like body extends in a direction intersecting the vertical direction, and its upper surface is flat and configured as a seat surface facing the buttocks of the occupant. The seat surface defines the lower end of the seating area 1a. In addition, the seat portion 13 is configured such that its lower surface faces the seat surface of the vehicle-side seat.
[0047] The backrest 14 is a plate-like body constituting the rear end of the seating section 10. This plate-like body extends in a direction intersecting the front-rear direction, and its front surface is flat and configured to face the back of the occupant. Furthermore, the backrest 14 is positioned so that its front surface defines the rear end of the seating area 1a, and its rear surface faces the backrest of the vehicle-side seat. The backrest 14 is connected to the seat section 13 by extending upward from the rear end of the seat section 13. Moreover, the backrest 14 is configured to change its length in the vertical direction. Specifically, the backrest 14 has: a plate-like fixed backrest 18 fixed to the seat section 13 in a manner that prevents relative movement in the vertical direction; and a plate-like movable backrest 19 connected to the fixed backrest 18 in a manner that allows relative movement in the vertical direction. By moving the movable backrest 19 upward relative to the fixed backrest 18, the overall vertical length of the backrest 14 is changed.
[0048] The seat side 15 consists of a pair of plate-like bodies extending in the front-to-back direction and arranged opposite each other in the left-to-right direction. The left-to-right direction of the inner surface of the seat side 15 defines the left-to-right ends of the seating area 1a. In addition, the seat side 15 is configured such that its inner surface in the left-to-right direction is the surface facing the occupant from the side.
[0049] like Figure 2 As shown, the headrest 16 is a plate-like structure that convexly rearwards and is roughly C-shaped when viewed from above. The headrest 16 is mounted on the upper end of the backrest 14, specifically on the upper end of the movable backrest 19. Furthermore, the area on the inner side of the curved shape of the headrest 16 can accommodate the occupant's head. Specifically, the headrest 16 has: a rear head support 161 located at the center in the left-right direction; and a pair of side head supports 162 extending forward from the left-right ends of the rear head support 161 and arranged opposite each other in the left-right direction. The rear head support 161 faces the rear of the occupant's head and provides support from behind. The side head supports 162 face the sides of the occupant's head and provide support from the outside in the left-right direction.
[0050] like Figures 1 to 3As shown, the height adjustment section 17 is configured to move the moving back section 19 and the headrest 16 in the up-down direction. Specifically, the height adjustment section 17 has a first adjustment section 171 that moves the moving back section 19 and the headrest 16 as a whole in the up-down direction, and a second adjustment section (not shown) that moves the headrest 16 relative to the moving back section 19 in the up-down direction. The first adjustment section 171 is a lever installed at the upper end of the moving back section 19, and by operating the lever, the moving back section 19 and the headrest 16 installed on the moving back section 19 can be moved relative to the fixed back section 18 in the up-down direction. In addition, the second adjustment section is a lever provided on the back of the moving back section 19, and by operating the lever, the headrest 16 can be moved relative to the moving back section 19 in the up-down direction. Furthermore, the specific structure of the height adjustment section 17 is not limited to this example. In the case where the height adjustment section 17 is provided, various mechanisms for at least adapting the height of the headrest 16 to the position of the head of the occupant can be employed.
[0051] As shown in FIG. 1, the seat 10 has a seat region la in which an occupant is seated, and a seat frame section 11 that is a rigid body frame section configured to support the seat region la. The seat frame section 11 has a seat base section 13 that is a fixed back section, a back section 14 that is a moving back section, a seat side section 15 that is a fixed side section, and a headrest 16 that is a moving headrest. The seat base section 13 is a fixed back section that is a rigid body frame section configured to support the seat region la. The back section 14 is a moving back section that is a rigid body frame section configured to support the seat region la. The seat side section 15 is a fixed side section that is a rigid body frame section configured to support the seat region la. The headrest 16 is a moving headrest that is a rigid body frame section configured to support the seat region la. Figure 1 Figure 2 As shown, the inner lining section 12 is an elastic body disposed between the occupant in the seat region la and the rigid body frame section 11, which disperses the body pressure applied by the occupant to the rigid body frame section 11, thereby suppressing the situation where a locally large pressure acts on the seated occupant. In the present embodiment, the inner lining section 12 has a cloth-like inner lining section (not shown) that covers the inner side of the seat base section 13, the back section 14, and the seat side section 15 in the rigid body frame section 11, and a block-like head inner lining section 121 that is disposed on the inner side of the headrest 16 in the rigid body frame section 11.
[0052] The cloth-like inner lining section is a cloth-like body that can be compressed and restored in the thickness direction, and is disposed such that the thickness direction thereof coincides with the inner-outer direction of the seat region la. The cloth-like inner lining section is, for example, composed of a mesh fabric. The cloth-like inner lining section is disposed in substantially the entire region of the seat region la except for the headrest 16.
[0053] As shown in FIG. Figures 1 to 3 As shown, the head inner lining section 121 is a block that can be compressed and restored in the thickness direction, and is disposed on the headrest 16 such that the thickness direction thereof coincides with the inner-outer direction of the seat region la. In addition, the head inner lining section 121 is a shape that conforms to the shape of the inner surface of the headrest 16, and is configured to cover the back and side of the head of the occupant from the outside. The head inner lining section 121 of the present embodiment is composed of a soft foamed resin, and has a rigidity higher than that of the cloth-like inner lining section and lower than that of the rigid body frame section 11.
[0054] The seat belt unit 2 includes: a plurality of seat belt bodies 21 that are strip-shaped and fixed to the rigid frame unit 11; a tongue 22 provided on the seat belt body 21; and a buckle 23 connected to the rigid frame unit 11 and capable of locking the tongue 22. By locking the tongue 22 provided on the seat belt body 21 to the buckle 23, the seat belt unit 2 can secure the occupant to the rigid frame.
[0055] like Figure 4 and Figure 5 As shown, the deformable module 3 is provided on the seating portion 10 and configured to deform upon impact. Specifically, the deformable module 3 includes: a base 4 fixed to the seating portion 10; a connecting portion 5 connected to the base 4 at one end and extending in a separating direction in the thickness direction; and a plate-shaped bearing plate portion 6 connected to the other end of the connecting portion 5. In this embodiment, the base 4 and the connecting portion 5 are arranged in a pair laterally separated in a direction orthogonal to the thickness direction, and the bearing plate portion 6 is laterally arranged between the pair of base 4 and connecting portions 5.
[0056] The base 4 is a plate-like body extending in a direction intersecting the inward and outward directions of the seating area 1a, and has a fixing portion 41 for fixing to the seating part 10. A fastening hole 4a for inserting a fastening member is formed in the fixing portion 41, allowing the base 4 to be fixed to the seating part 10 using fasteners. Specifically, the base 4 is a plate-like body extending linearly in a longitudinal direction orthogonal to the thickness direction and the transverse direction, configured such that its longitudinal length is longer than its transverse length. Furthermore, the base 4 has a substantially uniform thickness except for the rib portion provided for reinforcement.
[0057] The connecting portion 5 is a plate-like body extending from the base portion 4 in the thickness direction. The connecting portion 5 has: a first connecting portion 5A disposed at one longitudinal end relative to the base portion 4; and a second connecting portion 5B disposed separately from the first connecting portion 5A in the other longitudinal direction. Furthermore, the first connecting portion 5A and the second connecting portion 5B each have: a deformable connecting portion 51 connected to the supporting plate portion 6; and a base connecting portion 52 connected to the base portion 4. The deformable connecting portion 51 is one end of the first connecting portion 5A and the second connecting portion 5B in the thickness direction. The base connecting portion 52 is the other end of the first connecting portion 5A and the second connecting portion 5B in the thickness direction.
[0058] The base connecting portion 52 of the first connecting portion 5A extends longitudinally from one end of the base portion 4 in a straight line to a position located at the other end, which is different from the central portion. Furthermore, the longitudinal length of the deformable connecting portion 51 of the first connecting portion 5A is shorter than the longitudinal length of the base connecting portion 52, and it extends longitudinally in a straight line. In this embodiment, one longitudinal end of the first connecting portion 5A extends linearly along the thickness direction, and the other longitudinal end extends linearly in an oblique direction intersecting both the thickness direction and the longitudinal direction. That is, in the first connecting portion 5A, the longitudinal end of the deformable connecting portion 51 and the longitudinal end of the base connecting portion 52 are approximately at the same longitudinal position, and the other longitudinal end of the deformable connecting portion 51 is located on the longitudinal end side compared to the other longitudinal end of the base connecting portion 52.
[0059] The base connecting portion 52 of the second connecting portion 5B extends longitudinally in a straight line from one end of the base portion 4 to a position at the other end that is greater than the central portion. Furthermore, the longitudinal length of the base connecting portion 52 of the second connecting portion 5B is shorter than the longitudinal length of the base connecting portion 52 of the first connecting portion 5A. Additionally, the longitudinal length of the deformable connecting portion 51 of the second connecting portion 5B is approximately the same as the longitudinal length of the base connecting portion 52, and the deformable connecting portion 51 of the second connecting portion 5B extends in a straight line obliquely upwards, intersecting the thickness direction and the longitudinal direction. In the second connecting portion 5B, the longitudinal positions of one end and the other end of the deformable connecting portion 51 and the base connecting portion 52 are approximately the same in the longitudinal direction.
[0060] The bearing plate portion 6 is a plate-like body that extends in a direction intersecting the thickness direction. When subjected to an impact from one side in the thickness direction, it can deform by flexing towards the base portion 4, i.e., the other side in the thickness direction. Furthermore, the bearing plate portion 6 possesses rigidity sufficient to prevent deformation even under loads applied when a passenger is in a seated position, i.e., under loads in a normal, non-impact state. The rigidity of the bearing plate portion 6 is higher than that of the inner lining portion 12, but lower than that of the rigid frame portion 11.
[0061] Furthermore, in the connecting portion 5, the base connecting portion 52 is connected to the inner end of the base portion 4 in the lateral direction, and the deformable connecting portion 51 is connected to the outer end of the supporting plate portion 6 in the lateral direction. Therefore, the connecting portion 5 connects the supporting plate portion 6 and the base portion 4 in such a way that the supporting plate portion 6 as a whole is positioned laterally offset relative to the base portion 4.
[0062] The supporting plate portion 6 includes: a straight plate portion 61 that expands in a direction orthogonal to the thickness direction; an inclined plate portion 62 connected to the other longitudinal end of the straight plate portion 61 and expanding obliquely upwards in a direction intersecting both the thickness direction and the longitudinal direction; and a curved portion 63 formed at the connection portion 5 between the straight plate portion 61 and the inclined plate portion 62, which is convexly curved toward the thickness direction. The inclined plate portion 62 is a plate-like body that is inclined from the other longitudinal end of the straight plate portion 61 toward the other end in the thickness direction, and the other longitudinal end of the inclined plate portion 62 is approximately at the same position as the base portion 4 in the thickness direction. In addition, in the supporting plate portion 6 of this embodiment, the longitudinal length of the straight plate portion 61 is longer than the longitudinal length of the inclined plate portion 62, and the curved portion 63 is formed at a position offset from the center of the longitudinal direction of the supporting plate portion 6 toward the other end. Furthermore, in the bearing plate portion 6, the portion located at the farthest end in the thickness direction, i.e., the other longitudinal end of the inclined plate portion 62, is located at approximately the same position as the base portion 4 in the thickness direction. The portion of the inclined plate portion 62 located at one end in the longitudinal direction, compared to the other longitudinal end, is located closer to one end than the base portion 4 in the thickness direction. Therefore, the straight plate portion 61 and the curved portion 63 are generally separated from the base portion 4 by one end in the thickness direction. Additionally, the bearing plate portion 6 has a frame-shaped frame portion 64 forming the outer edge of the bearing plate portion 6; and a deformable main body portion 65 located inside the frame portion 64. The frame portion 64 and the deformable main body portion 65 are located in the straight plate portion 61 and the inclined plate portion 62.
[0063] The deformable connecting portion 51 of the connecting portion 5 is connected to one longitudinal end and the other longitudinal end of the supporting plate portion 6. The first connecting portion 5A is connected to one longitudinal end of the supporting plate portion 6; specifically, the first connecting portion 5A is connected to a position relative to the deformable main body portion 65 at one longitudinal end. Additionally, the first connecting portion 5A is connected to one longitudinal end of the straight plate portion 61. The second connecting portion 5B is connected to the other longitudinal end of the supporting plate portion 6; specifically, the second connecting portion 5B is connected to the other longitudinal end of the inclined plate portion 62. Furthermore, the supporting plate portion 6 is not directly connected to any other component in the longitudinal direction between the first connecting portion 5A and the second connecting portion 5B. That is, the supporting plate portion 6 is in a state where, because the connecting portion 5 is connected to one longitudinal end and the other longitudinal end, one longitudinal end and the other longitudinal end are supported by other components, and the portion between the first connecting portion 5A and the second connecting portion 5B in the longitudinal direction is not supported by other components.
[0064] The frame portion 64 has a pair of transverse extensions 641 extending laterally and a pair of longitudinal extensions 642 extending longitudinally. The frame portion 64 as a whole is a frame shape that expands both longitudinally and laterally. The pair of transverse extensions 641 are plate-like bodies located at one longitudinal end and the other end of the supporting plate portion 6, and extend continuously laterally from one transverse end to the other end. The pair of longitudinal extensions 642 are plate-like bodies located at one transverse end and the other end of the supporting plate portion 6, and extend continuously from one longitudinal end to the other end. The longitudinal extensions 642 are bent in a manner that protrudes towards the thickness direction at a position midway along their extension direction where a bend 63 is formed. Furthermore, the pair of longitudinal extensions 642 are configured to connect the transverse ends of the pair of transverse extensions 641 to each other and to each other.
[0065] The deformable main body 65 is a leaf spring, capable of elastically deforming in the opposite direction of thickness when subjected to an impact from one side in the thickness direction. Specifically, the deformable main body 65 is a plate-shaped body with multiple holes formed in the thickness direction. Furthermore, the deformable main body 65 has multiple rod-shaped continuous extensions 66 extending continuously between the frame portions 64, and slit-forming regions 67 are formed between the multiple continuous extensions 66. The continuous extensions 66 are rod-shaped bodies with approximately the same longitudinal length and extending linearly in the transverse direction. Moreover, the structures of each of the multiple continuous extensions 66 are approximately identical. In the deformable main body 65 of this embodiment, the multiple continuously extending rod-shaped continuous extensions 66 are arranged longitudinally separated between a pair of longitudinal extensions 642 in the frame portions 64, and slit-forming regions 67 are formed between longitudinally adjacent continuous extensions 66. That is, the deformable main body 65 is configured such that the continuous extensions 66 and the slit-forming regions 67 alternate longitudinally.
[0066] Multiple slits are formed in the slit forming region 67. These multiple slits are holes extending through the thickness direction and extending between longitudinally adjacent continuous extensions 66. Additionally, various slits with different lateral lengths are formed in the slit forming region 67. Specifically, the slit forming region 67 includes a first region 67A and a second region 67B. The first region 67A has a continuous slit S1 extending continuously between the frame portions 64, and the second region 67B has multiple short slits with lateral lengths shorter than the continuous slit S1. In this embodiment, the first region 67A is located at two longitudinally separated positions, and the region of the slit forming region 67 other than the first region 67A is the second region 67B.
[0067] In this embodiment, the continuous slit S1 is a slit that extends continuously between a pair of longitudinal extensions 642. The continuous slit S1 is a hole defined by a pair of longitudinal extensions 642 and a continuous extension 66 adjacent to the first region 67A, and is a hole that extends continuously in the transverse direction and has a substantially constant width in the longitudinal direction.
[0068] A longitudinally extending rod-connecting portion 68 is disposed in the second region 67B, connecting longitudinally adjacent continuous extensions 66 to each other via the second region 67B. In this embodiment, in the second region 67B, the rod-connecting portions 68 are separated in the lateral direction of the continuous extensions 66, and a plurality of them are arranged at approximately equal intervals in the lateral direction. In addition, in the second region 67B, a plurality of short slits are formed between the lateral extensions 641. Moreover, the rod-connecting portions 68 disposed in the second region 67B and longitudinally adjacent via the continuous extensions 66 are arranged at different positions in the lateral direction. In this embodiment, the rod-connecting portions 68 are arranged in an alternating manner as a whole.
[0069] A short slit is a slit extending laterally between a pair of longitudinal extensions 642. The short slit is a hole whose longitudinal ends are defined by a continuous extension 66 adjacent to the second region 67B, and whose lateral ends are defined by a rod connector 68 or a longitudinal extension 642. This hole has a substantially constant longitudinal width. Furthermore, short slits include various types of slits with different lateral lengths. Specifically, short slits include: a first short slit S21 with a longer lateral length; and a second short slit S22 with a shorter lateral length than the first short slit S21. In this embodiment, the first short slit S21 is a slit with a lateral length longer than its longitudinal length, and the second short slit S22 is a slit with a lateral length approximately equal to its longitudinal length. Additionally, in this embodiment, the second short slit S22 is located only at the lateral end of the second region 67B.
[0070] In this way, by forming multiple slits, the deformable main body 65 is integrally formed into a mesh, and the outer edge of the mesh is supported by the frame portion 64. Therefore, when an impact is applied to the deformable main body 65 from one side in the thickness direction to the other, the deformable main body 65 can reliably withstand the impact.
[0071] like Figure 2 and Figure 3As shown, the deformable module 3 is disposed on the seating portion 10 such that its thickness direction is aligned with the inward and outward directions of the seating portion 10, and its longitudinal side is located on the upper side. In this embodiment, the deformable module 3 is fixed to the headrest 16 in the rigid frame portion 11. Specifically, the base 4 of the deformable module 3 is fixed to the rear head support portion 161 of the headrest 16, and the bearing plate portion 6 is fixed to the headrest 16 in a state that is separated inward from the rear head support portion 161. In addition, a head liner portion 121, which serves as a liner portion 12, is disposed on the inner side of the deformable module 3 in the inward and outward directions of the seating area 1a. That is, the deformable module 3 is disposed between the head liner portion 121 and the headrest 16 in the inward and outward directions.
[0072] like Figure 3 As shown, the deformable module 3 located in the seating section 10, i.e., the headrest 16, is positioned such that its base 4 abuts against the headrest 16, and its supporting plate 6 is separated inward from the headrest 16. Furthermore, a height adjustment section 17 is located between the supporting plate 6 and the headrest 16. In the height adjustment section 17, a rod is located on the outer side of the upper end of the frame, and a metal wire connecting the rod is located between the deformable main body 65 and the headrest 16. The size of the metal wire is such that it does not affect the deformation of the deformable main body 65, as described later. In other words, no items that would affect the deformation of the deformable main body 65 are placed between the deformable main body 65 and the headrest 16. In this embodiment, the deformable main body 65 can deform in the inward and outward directions to the same position as the base 4.
[0073] The method of using the child seat C configured as described above will be explained. When using the child seat C, firstly, adjust the height of the headrest 16 and backrest 14 using the height adjustment unit 17 so that the position of the headrest 16 is aligned with the position of the passenger's head. Then, have the passenger sit in the seating section 10 and secure the passenger to the seating section 10 using the seat belt unit 2. At this time, the headrest 16 and the deformable module 3 fixed to the headrest 16 are located behind the passenger's head.
[0074] Thus, when a passenger is seated, a force in the forward-backward direction may be applied to the passenger's head. In vehicles equipped with child seats C, when a force is applied to the passenger's head due to normal acceleration or deceleration, this force is absorbed by the elastic deformation of the headliner 121. However, in cases of sudden acceleration, deceleration, or accidents causing a significant impact on the passenger, the force applied to the passenger's head due to this impact may not be completely absorbed by the elastic deformation of the headliner 121. In such cases, the force not completely absorbed by the elastic deformation of the headliner 121 (the force generated by the impact) is transmitted through the headliner 121 to the deformation module 3, thereby applying a force from the inside to the outside to the deformation module 3.
[0075] likeFigure 6 As shown, if a force is applied to the deformable module 3 from the inside out, the bearing plate 6 will deform outwards in a manner close to the base 4, thereby absorbing the force from the inside out. The deformable main body 65 in the bearing plate 6 elastically deforms in a manner that flexes inwards to absorb the force. Specifically, the bending portion 63 elastically deforms from a state that is bent in a forward-protruding manner to a state that is bent in a rearward-protruding manner, thereby absorbing the impact. In this embodiment, the deformable main body 65 is formed with multiple slits, so that its whole is formed into a mesh. Therefore, the deformable main body 65 is prone to deformation such that the slit portion becomes larger, thus it can reliably deform to absorb the force.
[0076] In the child seat C constructed as described above, since the deformable module 3 is subjected to impacts in the inward and outward directions, the bearing plate 6 connected to the base 4 deforms with the base 4 in a manner that brings them closer together in the inward and outward directions. Therefore, the impacts in the inward and outward directions can be absorbed by the deformation of the deformable module 3.
[0077] Furthermore, the deformation main body 65, which is made of leaf spring, can absorb impacts in the internal and external directions by deforming. Therefore, the deformation module 3 can absorb impacts in the internal and external directions with the thickness of the leaf spring used for deformation.
[0078] Furthermore, the deformation performance of the leaf spring in the deformable main body 65 can be adjusted by changing the position, shape, and number of holes. Therefore, the impact absorption performance can be adjusted.
[0079] In addition, the deformation module 3 has a mesh-like deformation main body 65 and a frame 64 that supports the outer edge of the deformation main body 65. Therefore, the deformation main body 65 can be deformed as a whole to absorb the force generated by the impact.
[0080] Next, a child seat C according to another embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the following other embodiments, the structure of the variant module 3 differs from that of the first embodiment.
[0081] like Figure 7As shown, the modified module 3 of the child seat C according to the second embodiment of the present invention includes: a base 4, a connecting portion 5, and a supporting plate portion 6. The structure of the base 4 and the connecting portion 5 is the same as that of the first embodiment. In addition, the supporting plate portion 6 of this embodiment is the same as that of the first embodiment, having a straight plate portion 61 and an inclined plate portion 62, which are connected by a bending portion 63. On the other hand, unlike the first embodiment, the longitudinal length of the inclined plate portion 62 is longer than the longitudinal length of the straight plate portion 61, and the position of the bending portion 63 is located at one end relative to the longitudinal center of the supporting plate portion 6. Moreover, the modified main body portion 65 of this embodiment has a plurality of continuous extension portions 66 that extend longitudinally and are connected to each other by the transverse extension portions 641 of the frame portion 64. The plurality of continuous extension portions 66 are arranged laterally separated, and a slit forming region 67 is formed between the continuous extension portions 66.
[0082] In the slit forming region 67, only a continuous slit S1 extending longitudinally is formed, and short slits are not formed. That is, the slit forming region 67 only includes the first region 67A and does not include the second region 67B. In addition, no rod connecting part 68 is arranged in the slit forming region 67.
[0083] Even with this configuration, the deformable module 3, after being subjected to an impact from the inside out, deforms the plate portion 6 toward the base portion 4 and is able to absorb the impact. Furthermore, as in this embodiment, since the continuous extension portions 66 are not connected to each other, compared to the first embodiment, the deformable main body portion 65 deforms more easily under impact and can reliably absorb the impact.
[0084] Next, refer to Figure 8 The third embodiment of the present invention will now be described. The deformable module 3 of the child seat C according to the third embodiment of the present invention includes: a base 4, a connecting portion 5, and a supporting plate portion 6. Furthermore, similar to the first embodiment, the supporting plate portion 6 of this embodiment has a straight plate portion 61 and an inclined plate portion 62, which are connected via a bending portion 63. The longitudinal length of the straight plate portion 61 is longer than the longitudinal length of the inclined plate portion 62, and the bending portion 63 is located at one end of the longitudinal direction of the supporting plate portion 6. On the other hand, the structure of the deformable main body portion 65 of the supporting plate portion 6 of this embodiment differs from that of the first embodiment. Specifically, the deformable main body portion 65 has a plurality of continuous extension portions 66 extending longitudinally and connected to each other by the transverse extension portions 641 of the frame portion 64. The plurality of continuous extension portions 66 are arranged laterally separated, forming slit-forming regions 67 between each other.
[0085] In the slit forming region 67, only short slits extending longitudinally and shorter than the length of the continuous extension 66 are formed; continuous slits S1 are not formed. That is, the slit forming region 67 includes only the second region 67B and does not include the first region 67A. A rod connecting portion 68 is disposed in the second region 67B to connect laterally adjacent continuous extensions 66. In this embodiment, the rod connecting portions 68 of the plurality of second regions 67B are arranged in the same position longitudinally. Specifically, a plurality of rod connecting portions 68 are arranged side-by-side in a straight line laterally near one end of the longitudinally curved portion 63. Furthermore, short slits are formed at both the longitudinal end and the other end of the rod connecting portion 68.
[0086] Even with this deformable module 3, after being subjected to an impact from the inside to the outside, the bearing plate 6 deforms towards the base 4, thereby absorbing the impact. Furthermore, compared to the second embodiment, since the impact toward the bearing plate 6 is transmitted to the multiple continuous extensions 66 via the rod connecting portion 68, the force can be distributed across the entire bearing plate 6.
[0087] Next, refer to Figure 9 The fourth embodiment of the present invention will now be described. The deformable module 3 of the child seat C according to the fourth embodiment of the present invention includes: a base 4, a connecting portion 5, and a supporting plate portion 6. Furthermore, the supporting plate portion 6 of this embodiment, like that of the first embodiment, has a straight plate portion 61 and an inclined plate portion 62, which are connected via a bending portion 63. On the other hand, the supporting plate portion 6 of this embodiment has a transverse extension portion 641 at one end and the other end in the longitudinal direction, and the deformable main body portion 65 is located between the transverse extension portions 641 in the longitudinal direction.
[0088] The deformable main body 65 has an arc-shaped continuous extension 66 extending horizontally from one end to the other, and an arc-shaped slit forming region 67 is formed between the continuous extensions. Specifically, in the deformable main body 65, a plurality of continuous extensions are arranged in a radially separated and parallel manner on a concentric circle centered on the central portion of the laterally curved portion 63, and a slit forming region 67 is formed between radially adjacent continuous extensions 66. In addition, a circular hole penetrating the thickness direction is formed in the central portion of the concentric circle.
[0089] In this embodiment, the slit forming region 67 includes only the second region 67B and excludes the first region 67A. A rod connecting portion 68 extending radially along a concentric circle is disposed in the slit forming region 67. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the rod connecting portions 68 disposed in each slit forming region 67 are arranged in a radially parallel manner via continuous extension portions 66.
[0090] Even with this deformable module 3, when subjected to an impact from the inside out, the bearing plate 6 can deform towards the base 4, thereby absorbing the impact. Furthermore, compared to the second embodiment, since the impact on the bearing plate 6 is transmitted to the multiple continuous extensions 66 via the rod connecting portion 68, the force can be dispersed and absorbed throughout the entire bearing plate 6.
[0091] Next, refer to Figure 10 The fifth embodiment of the present invention will be described. The modified module 3 of the child seat C according to the fifth embodiment of the present invention includes: a base 4, a connecting portion 5, and a supporting plate portion 6. The difference between this embodiment and the first embodiment is that the connecting portion 5 extends continuously from one longitudinal end of the base 4 to the other end. That is, in this embodiment, the connecting portion 5 is continuously connected to one longitudinal end of the supporting plate portion 6 to the other end, and the supporting plate portion 6 is continuously supported by the connecting portion 5 from one longitudinal end to the other end.
[0092] The supporting plate portion 6 in this embodiment, like the first embodiment, has a straight plate portion 61 and an inclined plate portion 62, which are connected by a bending portion 63. However, this embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that the longitudinal length of the inclined plate portion 62 is longer than the longitudinal length of the straight plate portion 61, and the bending portion 63 is located at one end of the longitudinal direction of the supporting plate portion 6, unlike the first embodiment. Furthermore, the supporting plate portion 6 in this embodiment has a transverse extension portion 641 at one end and the other end in the longitudinal direction, and a deformable main body portion 65 is located between the transverse extension portions 641 in the longitudinal direction. The deformable main body portion 65 has a plurality of continuous extension portions 66 extending continuously from one transverse end of the supporting plate portion 6 to the other end, and a connecting portion 5 is connected to both transverse ends of the continuous extension portions 66. The plurality of continuous extension portions 66 are arranged separately in the longitudinal direction, and slit forming regions 67 are formed between the continuous extension portions 66.
[0093] In the slit forming region 67, only a continuous slit S1 extending laterally is formed; no short slits are formed. That is, the slit forming region 67 only includes the first region 67A and does not include the second region 67B. In addition, no rod connecting portion 68 is disposed in the slit forming region 67. The continuous slit S1 extends continuously from one end of the bearing plate portion 6 to the other end laterally.
[0094] Even with this deformable module 3, after being subjected to an impact from the inside to the outside, the bearing plate 6 can deform towards the base 4 to absorb the impact. In addition, the bearing plate 6 is integrally supported by the connecting portion 5 from one end to the other in the longitudinal direction, so the bearing plate 6 can reliably withstand the force generated by the impact.
[0095] Next, refer toFigure 11 The sixth embodiment of the present invention will now be described. The deformable module 3 of the child seat C according to the sixth embodiment of the present invention has a base 4, a connecting portion 5, and a supporting plate portion 6. Furthermore, the supporting plate portion 6 of this embodiment, like that of the first embodiment, has a straight plate portion 61 and an inclined plate portion 62, which are connected via a bending portion 63. The longitudinal length of the straight plate portion 61 is longer than the longitudinal length of the inclined plate portion 62, and the bending portion 63 is located at one end of the longitudinal direction of the supporting plate portion 6. On the other hand, the supporting plate portion 6 of this embodiment differs from that of the first embodiment in that it has a transverse extension portion 641 at one end and the other end in the longitudinal direction, and a deformable main body portion 65 is located between the transverse extension portions 641 in the longitudinal direction. The deformable main body portion 65 has a plurality of continuous extension portions 66 extending continuously from one transverse end of the supporting plate portion 6 to the other end, and the connecting portion 5 is connected to both transverse ends of the continuous extension portions 66. Multiple continuous extensions 66 are arranged separately in the longitudinal direction, and slit forming regions 67 are formed between the continuous extensions 66.
[0096] In the slit forming region 67, only short slits extending laterally and shorter than the length of the continuous extension 66 are formed; continuous slits S1 are not formed. That is, the slit forming region 67 includes only the second region 67B and does not include the first region 67A. In the second region 67B, rod connecting portions 68 are arranged to connect laterally adjacent continuous extensions 66 to each other. The rod connecting portions 68 arranged longitudinally adjacent in the second region 67B via the continuous extensions 66 are arranged at different laterally. In this embodiment, the rod connecting portions 68 are arranged as a whole in an interlaced configuration.
[0097] Even with this deformable module 3, when subjected to an impact from the inside to the outside, the bearing plate 6 can deform in the direction close to the base 4, thereby absorbing the impact. In addition, since the impact toward the bearing plate 6 is transmitted to the multiple continuous extensions 66 via the rod connecting portion 68, the force can be dispersed and borne by the bearing plate 6 as a whole.
[0098] Next, refer to Figure 12 The seventh embodiment will be described. The modified module 3 of the child seat C according to the seventh embodiment of the present invention has a base 4 and a supporting plate 6 directly connected to the base 4. The base 4 is a plate-shaped body that can be fixed to the seating part 10, and is arranged such that its surface at the other end in the thickness direction faces the seating part 10.
[0099] The bearing plate portion 6 includes: a spring portion 71 extending in the thickness direction and connected to one end of the base portion 4 in the thickness direction; a plate-shaped impact bearing portion 72 connected to one end of the spring portion 71 in the thickness direction; and a guide portion 73. The spring portion 71 is a helical spring, compressible and recoverable in the thickness direction, and multiple spring portions 71 are arranged on one end of the base portion 4 in the thickness direction. The impact bearing portion 72 is a plate-shaped body extending in a direction intersecting the thickness direction. Furthermore, the impact bearing portion 72 is a plate, possessing rigidity sufficient to prevent deformation of the plate itself when subjected to an impact in the thickness direction. The guide portion 73 guides the deformable main body portion 65 to move in the thickness direction. Specifically, the guide portion 73 includes: a cylindrical member 74 provided on one side of the base portion 4 and the impact bearing portion 72; and a columnar sliding member 75 provided on the other side of the base portion 4 and the impact bearing portion 72 and sliding along the cylindrical member 74.
[0100] In the deformable module 3 configured in this way, when an impact is applied to the impact-bearing portion 72 from one end in the thickness direction to the other, the impact is transmitted to the spring portion 71, which is compressed and thus absorbs the impact. Therefore, when subjected to an impact from the inside to the outside, the bearing plate portion 6 can deform in the direction close to the base portion 4, thereby absorbing the impact.
[0101] As described above, the deformation module 3 is a leaf spring as in the first to sixth embodiments or a coil spring as in the seventh embodiment, which can absorb impact through the elastic deformation of the spring.
[0102] The above example illustrates an embodiment of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited to the described embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0103] For example, the case where the deformable module 3 is provided in the headrest 16 has been described, but the structure is not limited to this. For example, the deformable module 3 can also be provided in the backrest 14 or the seat 13. In this case, the deformable module 3 can absorb the impact acting on the occupant's body. In addition, even if the deformable module 3 is provided in the seat side 15 or in the headrest 16, it can also be provided in the side head support 162. With such a structure, for example, it can absorb the impact acting in the left and right directions in the event of a side collision.
[0104] Furthermore, while the case where the deformable module 3 is located in the rigid frame portion 11 has been described, the structure is not limited to this. For example, the deformable module 3 can also be located in the inner liner portion 12. When the deformable module 3 is located in the inner liner portion 12, for example, the inner liner portion 12 can be configured as a bag shape, and the deformable module 3 can be housed inside it. Even with such a structure, the deformation of the deformable module 3 can absorb impacts that are not completely absorbed by the elastic deformation of the inner liner portion 12.
[0105] Furthermore, the seating section 10 can also have an impact-absorbing section protruding outward from the rigid frame section 11, and the impact-absorbing section includes a deformation module 3. The impact-absorbing section is configured as a columnar or hammer-shaped protrusion protruding outward from the outer surface of the rigid frame section 11, which deforms or displaces upon contact with the vehicle seat or vehicle body, thereby absorbing the impact upon contact. By providing the deformation module 3 on the impact-absorbing section configured in this way, in addition to absorbing the impact through the deformation or displacement of the impact-absorbing section itself, the impact can also be absorbed through the deformation of the deformation module 3. Therefore, the impact transmitted to the occupant can be reduced.
[0106] Furthermore, it was explained that the thickness direction side of the deformable module 3 is arranged towards the inside in the inward direction of the seating area 1a, but it is not limited to this structure; it can also be arranged with its thickness direction side facing outward. Even with such a structure, it can absorb impact by allowing the plate portion 6 to deform from the outside to the inside in a manner close to the base portion 4.
[0107] Furthermore, it was explained that the deformable module 3 and the seating part 10 are different parts, but the structure is not limited to this. For example, the base 4 can also be integrally formed with the seating part 10.
[0108] In addition, it was explained that no component that would affect the deformation of the bearing plate 6 is disposed between the bearing plate 6 and the seating part 10. However, it is also possible to configure a structure that includes other components such as an elastic component that can elastically deform with the deformation of the bearing plate 6 to absorb impact.
[0109] Furthermore, it was explained that the supporting plate portion 6 has a bent portion 63 formed therein, and that it is bent in a convex manner toward the thickness direction. However, it is not limited to such a structure. For example, the supporting plate portion 6 can also be configured to be bent in a manner that convexes toward the thickness direction as a whole.
[0110] In addition, it was explained that the bearing plate 6 absorbs the impact by undergoing elastic deformation, but it is not limited to such a structure. It can also be a structure that absorbs the impact through elastic deformation and plastic deformation or a structure that absorbs the impact through plastic deformation alone.
[0111] Furthermore, it has been described that the bearing plate portion 6 is arranged in the transverse direction between a pair of base portions 4 and connecting portions 5, but it is not limited to such a structure. It can also be configured such that the pair of base portions 4 and connecting portions 5 are arranged separately in the longitudinal direction, and the bearing plate portion 6 is arranged in the longitudinal direction between a pair of base portions 4 and connecting portions 5.
