[0022] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0023] The work vehicle involved in the embodiments of the present invention is a tractor. However, this is merely an example. The present invention can be widely used in work vehicles other than tractors that have lights on the engine hood. Such work vehicles can be agricultural work vehicles other than tractors, or work vehicles for civil engineering or construction work, etc.

[0024] Furthermore, in this instruction manual, the direction is defined as follows. First, the tractor 100 (see below) which serves as the work vehicle... Figure 1The direction of travel during operation is defined as "forward," and the opposite direction as "backward." Furthermore, when operating facing the tractor 100, the right side is defined as "right," and the left side as "left." Then, the direction perpendicular to the forward / backward and left / right directions of the tractor 100 is defined as the up / down direction. At this time, the direction of gravity is defined as "down," and the opposite side as "up." Additionally, the plane perpendicular to the up / down direction is defined as the horizontal plane, and the direction along the horizontal plane is defined as the horizontal direction. However, the directions mentioned above are merely illustrative names and are not intended to define actual positional relationships or directions.

[0025] <1. Overview of Tractors>

[0026] Figure 1 This is a left-side view showing a schematic structure of the tractor 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 1 As shown, the tractor 100 includes: a body 1, wheels 2, an engine 3, and a power transmission unit 4.

[0027] like Figure 1 As shown, the wheel 2 has a front wheel 2a and a rear wheel 2b. The front wheel 2a is located on the left and right sides of the front of the vehicle body 1. The rear wheel 2b is located on the left and right sides of the rear of the vehicle body 1. The vehicle body 1 is configured to be able to travel by means of the front wheel 2a and the rear wheel 2b. That is, the tractor 100 of this embodiment is a wheeled tractor. However, the tractor 100 is not limited to wheeled type, and may also be a tracked tractor or the like that that travels using tracks.

[0028] The engine 3 is mounted on the front side of the vehicle body 1, covered by an engine cover 5. In this embodiment, the engine 3 is a diesel engine, but it is not limited to this; the engine 3 can also be a gasoline engine, a hydrogen engine, or the like. Alternatively, the tractor 100 may have a structure that replaces the engine 3 with a prime mover other than an engine, such as a motor.

[0029] Furthermore, inside the engine hood 5, in addition to the engine 3, a cooling fan 6 and a radiator 7 are provided, for example. The cooling fan 6 is located in front of the engine 3 and is driven by power supplied from the engine 3. The cooling fan 6 is surrounded by a fan shield (partition) not shown. The fan shield divides the internal space of the engine hood 5 into front and rear sections. The radiator 7 is located in front of the fan shield. The fan shield shields the radiator 7 and other devices and components located further forward than the fan shield itself from heat from the engine 3. By rotating the cooling fan 6, relatively cool outside air is drawn in from the front grille or other components located in front of the engine hood 5. Then, the drawn-in outside air is transported to the engine 3 side through the radiator 7 and the cooling fan 6, thereby cooling the engine 3.

[0030] The power transmission unit 4 is located behind the engine 3. The power transmission unit 4 transmits power from the engine 3 to the wheels 2. Specifically, the power of the engine 3 is transmitted via the power transmission unit 4 to at least one of the front wheel 2a and the rear wheel 2b. In this embodiment, the power of the engine 3 is transmitted via the power transmission unit 4 to both the front wheel 2a and the rear wheel 2b. Specifically, the power transmission unit 4 has a gearbox with a gearbox internally disposed. In addition to or instead of a gearbox, the power transmission unit 4 may have at least one of the following: a power transmission shaft, gears, pulleys, belts, chains, a reducer, and a housing that houses such power transmission elements.

[0031] The vehicle body 1 has a frame portion 11 for mounting wheels 2 and a passenger portion 12 supported on the frame portion 11.

[0032] In detail, the frame section 11 includes: a base frame 111, a front axle 112, and a rear axle 113. The front axle 112 and rear axle 113 transmit power from the power transmission section 4. A front wheel 2a is mounted on the front axle 112. A rear wheel 2b is mounted on the rear axle 113. The front axle 112 is mounted on the base frame 111. The rear axle 113 is mounted on a transmission box (part of the power transmission section 4) supported by the base frame 111. Furthermore, the base frame 111 also supports the aforementioned engine 3 and radiator 7.

[0033] The passenger compartment 12 is a portion of the vehicle body 1 for the driver (operator) to sit in, and is located behind the engine 3. Furthermore, the passenger compartment 12 is positioned above the power transmission unit 4. In this embodiment, the passenger compartment 12 has an interior space (room-type space) for the driver to sit in. In this embodiment, the passenger compartment 12 is called a cab. However, the passenger compartment 12 of the tractor 100 may also be a structure other than a cab. That is, the passenger compartment 12 of the tractor 100 may not be a room-type space but a structure exposed to the outside. In such a structure, a canopy may also be included.

[0034] The cab 12 is equipped with a seat 121, a steering unit 122, and an instrument panel 123.

[0035] The seat 121 is a place for the driver of the tractor 100 to sit. The steering unit 122 constitutes a device for the driver, seated in the seat 121, to steer the tractor 100. Specifically, the steering unit 122 has a steering wheel 122a and a steering column 122b. The steering wheel 122a is the part operated by the driver and is configured to be circular. The steering wheel 122a is supported by a steering shaft (not shown) disposed in the steering column 122b, which is located below the steering wheel 122a, and is rotatable. The orientation of the front wheels 2a can be changed by rotating the steering wheel 122a.

[0036] The instrument panel 123 is located at the front of the cab 12. The instrument panel 123 includes: an instrument panel (measuring instrument panel) that can visualize the values measured by various measuring instruments, including the speed of the tractor 100; and various levers, switches, etc., for driving operations of the tractor 100.

[0037] In addition, inside the cab 12, around the seat 121, there are levers and pedals (not shown) for operating the tractor 100 itself and the work machine (not shown) mounted at the rear of the tractor 100.

[0038] Additionally, a work machine connection section 8, such as a three-point linkage mechanism, is provided at the rear of the vehicle body 1. The work machine connection section 8 is configured to allow for the detachable work machine. While only one type of work machine can be mounted on the work machine connection section 8, multiple types are preferred. Examples of work machines include tillage devices, plows, fertilization devices, pesticide dispensing devices, harvesting devices, and reaping devices. The power generated by the engine 3 can be transmitted to the work machine via a power output shaft (PTO shaft; not shown) extending from the power transmission section 4 toward the rear of the vehicle body 1. That is, the work machine can be operated by the engine 3. Furthermore, the work machine can also be driven by a different drive device (e.g., a motor) than the engine 3.

[0039] In addition, in this embodiment, a counterweight 9 is provided at the front end of the base frame 111. The counterweight 9 is provided to achieve weight balance with the work machine installed on the work machine connection part 8.

[0040] <2. Engine Hood>

[0041] As described above, the tractor 100 is equipped with an engine hood 5. The engine hood 5 is located on the front side of the tractor 100, specifically in front of the cab 12. Figure 2 This is a perspective view showing the schematic structure of the engine hood 5 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 3 This is a front view showing the schematic structure of the engine hood 5 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 4 This is a left-side view showing a schematic structure of the engine hood 5 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 5 This is a top view showing the schematic structure of the engine hood 5 according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0042] The engine cover 5, with its long side in the front-to-back direction, functions as a cover to cover the engine 3, etc. The engine cover 5 constitutes what is known as the engine compartment. The engine cover 5 is configured, for example, to rotate upwards with its front or rear end as a fulcrum, exposing the engine 3 to the outside.

[0043] like Figures 2-5As shown, the engine hood 5 is mainly composed of an upper engine hood component 51, a side engine hood component 52, and a front engine hood component 53. That is, the engine hood 5 is constructed by using multiple engine hood components 51 to 53. The engine hood 5 is composed of multiple parts and is a separable structure. The multiple engine hood components 51 to 53 are made of resin, for example, but this is not intended to limit their material.

[0044] Figure 6 This is a schematic perspective view showing the multiple engine hood components 51-53 that constitute the engine hood 5, disassembled. (See diagram below.) Figure 6 As shown, in detail, the side hood component 52 includes a left hood component 52L and a right hood component 52R, which are separate from each other.

[0045] [2-1. Upper engine hood component]

[0046] The upper engine hood component 51 is an external component that constitutes the upper part of the engine hood 5. For example... Figure 5 and Figure 6 As shown, the upper engine hood component 51 is composed of an upper surface portion 51a, and a left side portion 51b and a right side portion 51c disposed on the left and right sides of the upper surface portion 51a. The upper surface portion 51a is generally rectangular in shape when viewed from above, but the front part has a front-narrowing structure where the width narrows in the left and right directions as it faces forward. In addition, the upper surface portion 51a extends generally in the horizontal direction, but the front part has a curved structure (sloping structure) that curves downward as it faces forward.

[0047] The left side portion 51b and the right side portion 51c are symmetrically arranged with respect to the upper surface portion 51a. The left side portion 51b is arranged adjacent to the upper surface portion 51a with its right end along the left end. The left side portion 51b has a downward curving structure (inclined structure) that curves from the right end to the left end. In addition, the front portion of the left side portion 51b has a front end that narrows as it moves forward, with the left end approaching the right end. The right side portion 51c is arranged adjacent to the upper surface portion 51a with its left end along the right end. The right side portion 51c has a downward curving structure (inclined structure) that curves from the left end to the right end. In addition, the front portion of the right side portion 51c has a front end that narrows as it moves forward, with the right end approaching the left end.

[0048] A pair of front openings 511 are provided on the front side of the upper surface portion 51a, arranged at intervals from left to right. Each of the pair of front openings 511 is trapezoidal in shape when viewed from above. The pair of front openings 511 are positioned relative to the bisecting line L1 (refer to...). Figure 5The upper engine hood component 51 is symmetrically arranged, with the bisecting line L1 dividing it into two equal parts in the left-right direction when viewed from above. Additionally, a pair of rear openings 512 are provided on the rear left side of the upper surface portion 51a, spaced apart from each other. Each of the pair of rear openings 512 is diamond-shaped when viewed from above. The front opening 511 and the rear opening 512 penetrate the upper surface portion 51a in the vertical direction, serving as vents.

[0049] In addition, such as Figure 5 As shown, the front opening 511 and the rear opening 512 on the upper surface are covered from the lower surface side of the upper surface portion 51a by a mesh cover MC. By providing the mesh cover MC, the intrusion of foreign objects into the engine hood 5 can be prevented without compromising its function as a vent. In addition, in this embodiment, the front opening 511 and the rear opening 512 on the upper surface are only provided on the upper surface portion 51a, and are not provided to extend over the left side portion 51b and the right side portion 51c, which are inclined relative to the upper surface portion 51a. With this configuration, the molding of the upper engine hood component 51 with openings 511 and 512 can be kept simple, and the installation of the mesh cover MC can be facilitated.

[0050] Figure 7 This is a schematic diagram showing the relationship between the upper engine hood component 51 and the exhaust gas purification device 60. Figure 7 This indicates that the engine hood 5 is placed in Figure 5 The diagram shows a perspective view of the cross-section after being cut at position VII-VII. Furthermore, the exhaust gas purification device 60 is a device disposed on the upper part of the engine 3 and purifies the exhaust gas from the engine 3. Specifically, the exhaust gas purification device 60 is a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter). The exhaust gas purification device 60 is disposed in the same location covered by the engine hood 5 as the engine 3.

[0051] according to Figure 7 As can be seen, the engine hood 5 is configured to cover the exhaust gas purification device 60, and has an upper surface opening 512 at the position where it overlaps with the exhaust gas purification device 60 when viewed from above. Specifically, the upper surface opening 512 is the aforementioned upper surface rear opening 512. By providing the upper surface rear opening 512 above the exhaust gas purification device 60, heat generated by the exhaust gas purification device 60, engine 3, etc., can be efficiently discharged.

[0052] However, if the exhaust gas purification device 60 is located directly below the rear opening 512 on the upper surface, rainwater or other water may splash onto the exhaust gas purification device 60. The exhaust gas purification device 60 becomes very hot, so if it is splashed by rainwater or other water, it may cause the generation of water vapor, etc. Considering these points, in this embodiment, a preferred approach is adopted... Figure 8 The structure shown.

[0053] Figure 8 This is a schematic diagram showing the surrounding structure of the exhaust gas purification device 60. (For example...) Figure 8 As shown, the tractor 100 of this embodiment has a partition P1 between the upper surface rear opening (upper surface opening) 512 and the exhaust gas purification device 60 (vertically). By providing the partition P1, water that has entered the engine hood 5 from the upper surface rear opening 512 can be prevented from splashing onto the exhaust gas purification device 60.

[0054] The partition P1 is disposed inside the engine hood 5. The partition P1 is provided, for example, in the engine hood 5. The partition P1 may be made of the same component as the engine hood 5, or it may be made of a separate component and installed in the engine hood 5. However, the partition P1 may also not be provided in the engine hood 5, but in other components disposed in a position covered by the engine hood 5.

[0055] exist Figure 8 In the example shown, the partition P1 has an inclined surface S1 on its upper surface, which decreases in height from the central side of the engine hood 5 in the left-right direction toward the outer side in the left-right direction (specifically the left side). Therefore, water that enters the engine hood 5 from the rear opening 512 on the upper surface and splashes onto the partition P1 is transported along the inclined surface S1 to the outer end in the left-right direction of the interior space of the engine hood 5 and discharged to the outside without splashing onto the exhaust gas purification device 60.

[0056] like Figure 6 As shown, in addition to the openings 511 and 512 described above, the upper engine hood component 51 also has a center mark mounting portion 513. (See diagram below.) Figure 5 As shown, a triangular cone-shaped center mark CM is installed on the center mark mounting part 513. The center mark CM is used by the operator of the tractor 100 to determine the direction of travel using a sight.

[0057] In detail, the center mark mounting part 513 is positioned on the bisecting line L1 that divides the upper engine hood component 51 into two equal parts in the left and right directions when viewed from above, and is located between the rear edges 511a of the front openings 511 on the left and right upper surfaces (in the left and right directions). The center mark CM mounted on the center mark mounting part 513 in such a position is easily visually identifiable by the operator driving the tractor 100 and can be used as a mark to ensure the tractor 100 travels perfectly straight. The center mark CM is mounted to the center mark mounting part 513, for example, using a push nut. Furthermore, the center mark CM can also be the same component as the upper engine hood component 51. That is, the center mark CM can also be formed integrally with the upper engine hood component 51.

[0058] [2-2. Side Engine Hood Components]

[0059] The left engine hood component 52L is an external component constituting the left side portion of the engine hood 5. The right engine hood component 52R is an external component constituting the right side portion of the engine hood 5. The left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R are arranged symmetrically with respect to the upper engine hood component 51. The upper edge of the left engine hood component 52L is positioned along the left edge of the upper engine hood component 51. The upper edge of the right engine hood component 52R is positioned along the right edge of the upper engine hood component 51. The left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R extend from the rear end of the upper engine hood component 51 to near the front of the front end. When viewed from the side, the left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R are inverted L-shaped (see reference). Figure 4 (etc.), and extends generally in the vertical direction. Among them, the left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R have a front-curved shape. In detail, the front of the left engine hood component 52L has a curved structure that curves to the right as it moves forward. In addition, the front of the right engine hood component 52R has a curved structure that curves to the left as it moves forward.

[0060] like Figure 6 As shown, a first side opening 521, a second side opening 522, and a side cutout 523 are provided on the left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R. The structure of the first side opening 521, the second side opening 522, and the side cutout 523 is the same in both the left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R.

[0061] In the left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R, a first side opening 521 is provided at the front, which has a curved structure. Figure 4As shown, the first side opening 521 is trapezoidal in shape when viewed from the side. The first side opening 521 extends through either the left engine hood component 52L or the right engine hood component 52R in the left-right direction, serving as a vent. Figure 4 As shown, the first side opening 521 is covered by a mesh cover MC from the inner side of the left engine hood component 52L or the right engine hood component 52R. By providing the mesh cover MC, the intrusion of foreign objects into the engine hood 5 can be prevented without compromising its function as a vent.

[0062] Furthermore, in both the left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R, a second side opening 522 is located behind the first side opening 521. For example... Figure 4 As shown, the second side opening 522 is a parallelogram shape when viewed from the side. The second side opening 522 passes through either the left engine hood member 52L or the right engine hood member 52R in an inclined direction relative to the left-right direction, serving as a vent. Furthermore, in the left engine hood member 52L, the second side opening 522 passes upwards from the left rearward direction towards the right frontward direction. In the right engine hood member 52R, the second side opening 522 passes upwards from the right rearward direction towards the left frontward direction. The second side opening 522 is also covered from the inside by a mesh MC, similar to the first side opening 521 (see reference). Figure 4 wait).

[0063] In detail, the second side opening 522 is positioned at a height greater than that surrounding the aforementioned cooling fan 6 (see reference). Figure 1 The second side opening 522 is located at the rear of the fan cover. Specifically, it is designed for heat dissipation within the engine hood 5. By providing the second side opening 522, the amount of heat transferred to the cab 12 can be reduced. Furthermore, the second side opening 522 can prevent obstruction of the air conditioning system installed in the cab 12.

[0064] More specifically, multiple second side openings 522 are arranged in the front-rear direction. That is, in this embodiment, the engine hood 5 has multiple side openings 522 of the same shape arranged in the front-rear direction on the side. With such a structure of multiple side openings (second side openings) 522 of the same shape, the exhaust flow can be adjusted by adjusting the utilization state of the side openings 522, for example, the amount of heat transferred to the cab 12 can be adjusted.

[0065] Furthermore, the adjustment of the utilization state of the plurality of second side openings 522 can be either manual or automatic. Manual adjustment can be achieved, for example, by installing a cover member on a portion of the plurality of second side openings 522 to block them. Automatic adjustment can be achieved, for example, by using a motor or the like to move the cover member, thereby automatically opening and closing the second side openings 522.

[0066] Side cutouts 523 are provided on the front side of the upper edge of the left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R. That is, the side cutouts 523 are provided on the curved structural portions on the front side of the left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R. In the left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R, the portion with the side cutouts 523 has a lower upper height compared to the portion without the side cutouts 523. In the portion without the side cutouts 523, the upper engine hood component 51 is combined with the left engine hood component 52L, and the upper engine hood component 51 is combined with the right engine hood component 52R. In the portion with the side cutouts 523, gaps are formed between the upper engine hood component 51 and the left engine hood component 52L, and between the upper engine hood component 51 and the right engine hood component 52R, when they are combined. An upper light portion 70 (described later) mounted on the front engine hood component 53 is disposed at this gap. Figure 2 etc.

[0067] [2-3. Front engine hood components]

[0068] The front hood component 53 is an external component that constitutes the front part of the hood 5. For example... Figure 6 As shown, the front engine hood component 53 includes: a central frame portion 531, a pair of left and right upper light mounting portions 532, a pair of left and right lower light mounting portions 533, a pair of left and right connecting frame portions 534, and a lower frame portion 535.

[0069] The central frame portion 531 is T-shaped when viewed from the front. Specifically, the central frame portion 531 has: a base 531a extending vertically, a left-curved portion 531b protruding to the left of the base 531a, and a right-curved portion 531c protruding to the right of the base 531a. The base 531a has: an upper portion that is wide in the left-right direction, and a straight portion that is narrower in the left-right direction than the upper portion and extends linearly downward from the upper portion. The base 531a has a bisecting line L2 (see reference). Figure 3The engine hood 5 has a symmetrical structure, with the bisecting line L2 dividing it into two equal parts in the left-right direction when viewed from the front. The left curved portion 531b is an arc-shaped section that curves rearward from the base 531a toward the left. The right curved portion 531c is an arc-shaped section that curves rearward from the base 531a toward the right. The left curved portion 531b and the right curved portion 531c are arranged symmetrically with respect to the base 531a.

[0070] like Figure 3 As shown, a Y-shaped decorative element 90 is installed on the central frame portion 531 when viewed from the front. Specifically, the decorative element 90 consists of three parts 91, 92, and 93. The first decorative element 91 is a Y-shaped component installed on the front side of the base portion 531a. The second decorative element 92 is a component that extends the upper left portion of the first decorative element 91, which is a Y-shaped component, and is installed on the front side of the left bend portion 531b. The third decorative element 93 is a component that extends the upper right portion of the first decorative element 91, which is a Y-shaped component, and is installed on the front side of the right bend portion 531c. By arranging the decorative element 90 on the front hood portion 53, for example, a strong impression can be made on the viewer. Furthermore, since the decorative element 90 is constructed in three parts, the size of the component can be reduced, making it easier to handle the component during installation and other operations.

[0071] Of the pair of upper lamp mounting portions 532, the left upper lamp mounting portion 532 is disposed along the lower edge of the left curved portion 531b, and the right upper lamp mounting portion 532 is disposed along the lower edge of the right curved portion 531c. Each upper lamp mounting portion 532 has an upper lamp opening 532a that is rectangular when viewed from the side. The upper lamp opening 532a is a through hole that extends in the left-right direction. An upper lamp portion 70 (see reference) is disposed in the upper lamp opening 532a. Figure 2 The upper lamp section 70 is configured as a decorative lamp section in the tractor 100. Details of the decorative lamp section configured by the upper lamp section 70 will be described later.

[0072] Of the pair of left and right lower lamp mounting portions 533, the left lower lamp mounting portion 533 is disposed below the left upper lamp mounting portion 532, away from the left upper lamp mounting portion 532. The left lower lamp mounting portion 533 and the left upper lamp mounting portion 532 are connected by a left-side connecting frame portion 534. Of the pair of left and right lower lamp mounting portions 533, the right lower lamp mounting portion 533 is disposed below the right upper lamp mounting portion 532, away from the right upper lamp mounting portion 532. The right lower lamp mounting portion 533 and the right upper lamp mounting portion 532 are connected by a right-side connecting frame portion 534.

[0073] Each lower lamp mounting portion 533 has a frame structure forming a lower lamp opening 533a. Each lower lamp mounting portion 533 is annular, and the lower lamp opening 533a is circular. A lower lamp portion 80 (see reference) is disposed in the lower lamp opening 533a. Figure 2 The lower lamp section 80 is configured as a headlight (a light necessary for driving) in the tractor 100. The lamp unit constituting the lower lamp section 80 is composed of a bulb and a reflector. The bulb is, for example, a halogen lamp, an HID lamp, or an LED lamp.

[0074] The lower frame portion 535 is positioned below and connected to the central frame portion 531 and a pair of lower lamp mounting portions 533. When viewed from the front, the lower frame portion 535 is frame-shaped and has a connecting piece 535a that connects the upper and lower frame portions at the center in the left-right direction. Therefore, in other words, the lower frame portion 535 has a structure in which two frame-shaped portions are symmetrically arranged left and right.

[0075] The front hood component 53 includes: a central frame portion 531, an upper light mounting portion 532, a lower light mounting portion 533, a connecting frame portion 534, and a pair of left and right front grille openings 536 surrounded by a lower frame portion 535. The front grille openings 536 extend through the front-rear direction. Figure 3 As shown, a mesh cover MC is installed on one side (rear side) of the left and right front grille openings 536, which is the inner side of the engine hood 5. Thus, the front grille 55 is formed on the front of the engine hood 5.

[0076] In addition, such as Figure 3 As shown, a mesh cover MC is also installed on the lower frame portion 535 from one side (rear side), which is the inner side of the engine hood 5, so as to cover the opening portion of the lower frame portion 535 that extends through in the front-rear direction. Thus, a lower grille 56 is formed on the lower front of the engine hood 5.

[0077] Furthermore, as described above, the front engine hood component 53 is equipped with an upper light section 70 located at the top and a lower light section 80 located at the bottom. In addition to the lower light section 80, which serves as a headlight, the upper light section 70 serves as a decorative light, thereby illuminating not only the front of the tractor 100 but also the sides. This allows operators and other users of the tractor 100 to efficiently perform nighttime operations.

[0078] Furthermore, if the front hood component 53 is equipped with an upper light section 70 and a lower light section 80, the appearance design of the front hood component 53 can be significantly altered by slightly changing the shape of the light sections. In other words, if the front hood component 53 is equipped with an upper light section 70 and a lower light section 80, it is easier to improve the appearance design.

[0079] In particular, in this embodiment, the impression of the front (front) side of the tractor 100 is easily affected by the combination of the lamp portions 70, 80 and the Y-shaped decorative body 90. By simply changing the relationship between the lamp portions 70, 80 and the decorative body 90, the impression of the front side of the tractor 100 can be significantly altered.

[0080] [2-4. Others]

[0081] The upper engine hood component 51, the left engine hood component 52L, the right engine hood component 52R, and the front engine hood component 53 are connected to form the engine hood 5. Specifically, some components are connected to each other via a frame component (not shown) disposed inside the engine hood 5, while others are directly connected to each other. The connections between components utilize fasteners such as bolts and nuts.

[0082] Based on the upper engine hood component 51, a left engine hood component 52L is disposed on the lower side of the left end, a right engine hood component 52R is disposed on the lower side of the right end, and a front engine hood component 53 is disposed on the lower side of the front end. The upper engine hood component 51 is connected to the left engine hood component 52L, the right engine hood component 52R, and the front engine hood component 53. The front engine hood component 53 is connected to the upper engine hood component 51, as well as the left engine hood component 52L and the right engine hood component 52R.

[0083] Figure 9 This is a sectional perspective view showing the approximate relationship between the upper engine hood component 51 and the left engine hood component 52L. Furthermore, Figure 9 The cross-section shown is Figure 4 The cross-section at position IX-IX is shown. Additionally, the diagram showing the relationship between the upper engine hood component 51 and the right engine hood component 52R is omitted, but it corresponds to the relationship between the upper engine hood component 51 and the left engine hood component 52L.

[0084] like Figure 9 As shown, a horizontal portion 524 is provided at the upper end of the left engine hood component 52L, which shifts the position of its outer surface (left surface) toward the inside (right) of the engine hood 5. In other words, a step is formed at the upper end of the left engine hood component 52L by means of the horizontal portion 524. The left end of the upper engine hood component 51 is connected to the left engine hood component 52L with the horizontal portion 524 forming the step on it. By providing a connection structure with the horizontal portion 524 (step), even if there are slight manufacturing errors in the component dimensions, the connection between the upper engine hood component 51 and the left engine hood component 52L can be easily achieved by absorbing such manufacturing errors.

[0085] <3. Decorative Lighting Section>

[0086] Next, the upper lamp portion 70, which constitutes a decorative lamp portion, will be described in detail.

[0087] Figure 10 This is a left-side view showing the approximate relationship between the front hood component 53 and the upper light component 70. Furthermore, Figure 10 This is an enlarged view of the upper lamp section 70 and its surrounding area. Additionally, Figure 10 This refers to the left upper lamp portion 70, which is located on the left and right sides. The structure of the right upper lamp portion 70 is not shown in the diagram, but it has the same structure as the left upper lamp portion 70.

[0088] like Figure 10 As shown, the upper lamp portion 70 is U-shaped when viewed from the side. That is, the tractor 100 has lamp portions 70 that are U-shaped when viewed from the side, respectively arranged on the left and right sides of the front of the engine hood 5. With this structure of U-shaped lamp portions 70 (upper lamp portion 70) when viewed from the side, it is possible to prevent the width of the lamp portion from becoming too narrow, and compared to a structure with a rectangular lamp portion of the same width when viewed from the side, it is possible to suppress the range of light emission. In other words, according to the structure of this embodiment, it is possible to suppress the weakening of the presence of decorative lights in the tractor 100, and to suppress light pollution such as pedestrians feeling that the lights are too glaring.

[0089] In detail, the upper lamp portion 70 has a structure that forms a U-shaped lamp portion when viewed from the side. When viewed from the side, the upper lamp portion 70 has: a long side portion 71 extending from the front to the rear, and a pair of short side portions 72 extending upward from the front and rear ends of the long side portion 71.

[0090] The upper lamp portion 70 has a long side portion 71 extending in the front-rear direction when viewed from the side, thus the tractor 100 has a structure in which a lamp extending in the front-rear direction is located on the front side of its side portion. Therefore, the tractor 100 can use the upper lamp portion 70 to illuminate both the front and the side simultaneously. As a result, the workability of operators using the tractor 100 for nighttime operations can be improved.

[0091] In detail, the long side portion 71 is arranged at an angle relative to the front-to-back direction when viewed from the side, and its height decreases as it moves from the rear to the front. In other words, the U-shaped lamp portion (upper lamp portion 70) is angled with the front side down and the rear side up when viewed from the side. By setting the upper lamp portion 70 in such an angled configuration, the aesthetic design can be improved by combining it with the Y-shaped decorative body 90. In addition, by adopting such an angled shape, the illumination range can be adjusted to an appropriate position.

[0092] Figure 11 This is a left-side view showing the schematic structure of the lamp unit 70U constituting the upper lamp section 70. Furthermore, the same lamp unit 70U is used in both the left and right upper lamp sections 70. That is, the lamp unit 70U is a component that can be used in both the left and right upper lamp sections 70. This is achieved through the upper lamp opening 532a (see reference 532a) in the upper lamp mounting section 532 on the left side. Figure 6 The upper lamp section 70 on the left side is formed by mounting the lamp unit 70U. The upper lamp opening 532a on the right side of the upper lamp mounting section 532 (see reference) Figure 6 The lamp unit 70U is installed, thus forming the upper lamp section 70 on the right side.

[0093] like Figure 11 As shown, the lamp unit 70U includes a housing 70U1 and a lens 70U2. The housing 70U1 is made of, for example, resin or metal, and is box-shaped with openings in the left and right directions. A light-emitting element (not shown) and a reflector are disposed inside the housing 70U1. Additionally, the housing 70U1 is provided with mounting portions 70U1a for mounting the lamp unit 70U to the upper lamp mounting portion 532. In this embodiment, as an example, three mounting portions 70U1a are provided in the housing 70U1.

[0094] The lens 70U2 is made of a transparent component such as resin or glass, and covers the light-emitting element and reflector disposed inside the housing 70U1. The lens 70U2 has a cutout 70U2a on its outer surface in the left-right direction. Because of this cutout 70U2a, the outer surface of the lens 70U2 in the left-right direction is U-shaped.

[0095] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the light-emitting element disposed inside the housing 70U1 is an LED element. Specifically, a plurality of LED elements are disposed inside the housing 70U1, with the plurality of LED elements located on the long side 71 (see reference). Figure 10 Arranged in the direction of extension.

[0096] In this embodiment, the multiple LED elements are of the same type, but this is just an example; at least some of the multiple types of LED elements may be of different types from the others. That is, the upper lamp portion 70 may be a structure with multiple types of light-emitting elements (specifically, LED elements) having different functions. For example, the multiple types of light-emitting elements may be structures where at least one of luminous intensity, color, and directionality is different from each other. With such a structure having multiple types of light-emitting elements, the upper lamp portion 70 extending in the front-rear direction can be appropriately adjusted in terms of light quantity, light color, or directionality according to its position in the front-rear direction, thereby causing the upper lamp portion 70 to emit light.

[0097] Figure 12 It means in Figure 10 A three-dimensional diagram of the approximate structure of the cross-section after cutting at position XII-XII. (See diagram below.) Figure 10 and Figure 12 As shown, the lamp portion (upper lamp portion) 70, which is U-shaped when viewed from the side, is constructed by covering a portion of the lamp unit 70U with a light-shielding portion 57. In other words, a portion of the lamp unit 70U is covered by the light-shielding portion 57, so the upper lamp portion 70 constructed from the lamp unit 70U becomes U-shaped when viewed from the side.

[0098] The light-shielding part 57 does not transmit light emitted by the lamp unit 70U, but instead blocks it. Specifically, the light-shielding part 57 is made of a black component. However, as long as the light-shielding part 57 has light-shielding properties, it can also be made of a component of a color other than black. The light-shielding part 57 is disposed at the cutout 70U2a provided in the lens 70U2 of the lamp unit 70U, and covers a portion of the lamp unit 70U.

[0099] In this embodiment, the light-shielding portion 57 is part of the front hood component 53 that constitutes the front portion of the hood 5. The light-shielding portion 57 is configured as part of the front hood component 53, and when viewed from the side, it covers the upper lamp opening 532a provided in the upper lamp mounting portion 532. By making the light-shielding portion 57 part of the front hood component 53, the increase in the number of components can be suppressed despite the presence of the light-shielding portion 57.

[0100] Furthermore, the light-shielding part 57 may also be part of a component mounted on the front hood component 53. For example, the light-shielding part 57 may also be part of the decorative body 90. Specifically, the light-shielding part 57 may also be part of the second decorative component 92 or the third decorative component 93 constituting the decorative body 90. Alternatively, the light-shielding part 57 may be a component independent of the front hood component 53 and the decorative body 90. In such an independent component structure, the light-shielding part 57 may be movable. By making the light-shielding part 57 movable, the amount and direction of the light emitted from the upper lamp 70 can be appropriately adjusted.

[0101] Additionally, in this embodiment, decorative components 92 and 93 are respectively disposed on the left and right sides of the front of the engine hood 5 above the upper light section 70 (see reference). Figure 2When viewed from the side, the decorative components 92 and 93 extend at least from the front end to the rear end of the upper lamp portion 70. More specifically, the decorative components 92 and 93 extend over a wider area on both the front and rear ends than the area from the front end to the rear end of the upper lamp portion 70. By providing such decorative components 92 and 93, not only the light-shielding portion 57 but also the decorative components 92 and 93 can block the upward illumination of light emitted from the upper lamp portion 70. To achieve this function, the decorative components 92 and 93 can be made of light-shielding components, or they can be structures that protrude outwards in the left-right direction relative to the upper lamp portion 70.
