Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present application relates to a storage container for a plate-shaped body. BACKGROUND

[0002] In recent years, there is an increasing demand for large-sized FPD (Flat panel Display) glass substrates such as liquid crystal display glass substrates and plasma display glass substrates. Such large-sized glass sheets are stored and transported in a state of being stacked with a backing paper in a storage container (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

[0005] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2007-153395 SUMMARY

[0006] [Problems to be Solved by the Invention]

[0007] However, in the storage container in which the above-described large-sized glass sheets are stacked and stored, in order to avoid defects such as breakage of the stored glass sheets due to vibration and impact during transportation, stable transportation is required.

[0008] On the other hand, in order to safely transport the storage container, a long fork of a forklift is inserted into a fork hole of a pedestal and lifted up. However, the length of the fork inserted into the fork hole of the pedestal reaches 2.5 to 3 m from the opening of the fork hole to the depth, and thus it is difficult to visually recognize the insertion state of the fork into the pedestal. Therefore, when the fork is inserted into and pulled out of the fork hole of the pedestal, the fork comes into contact with a frame constituting the pedestal, and it is possible that an impact is applied to the glass sheets stacked and stored in the storage container.

[0009] Therefore, an object of the present application is to provide a storage container capable of safely transporting a stored plate-shaped body.

[0010] [Means for Solving the Problems]

[0011] The present application is configured by the following structure.

[0012] A storage container for a plate-shaped body, which stores a plate-shaped body stack in which a plurality of plate-shaped bodies are stacked, includes a pedestal, and a storage portion provided at an upper portion of the pedestal to store the plate-shaped body stack, wherein a pair of fork holes are provided at intervals in at least one of a front-rear direction and a left-right direction on the pedestal, and at least an upper inner surface of the fork hole is covered by a plate.

[0013] [Effects of the Invention]

[0014] According to the present application, it is possible to provide a storage container capable of safely carrying a stored plate-shaped body. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[0023] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present application will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

[0024] Figure 1 is a perspective view of the storage container 11 of the present embodiment. Figure 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a rim portion of a plate-shaped body stack 1 in which glass plates G and backing paper 3 are alternately stacked.

[0025] As shown in Figure 1 , the storage container 11 of the plate-shaped body of the present embodiment stores the plate-shaped body stack 1. The plate-shaped body stack 1 is a stack in which a plurality of plate-shaped bodies are stacked. In the present example, the plate-shaped body is a glass plate G formed in a plan view rectangular shape, and the storage container 11 stores a plurality of glass plates G in a stacked state. The storage container 11 stores a glass plate G of an eleventh generation size further exceeding a tenth generation size of which one side exceeds 3000 mm. The storage container 11 in which a plurality of such large-sized glass plates G are stacked is placed on a load table of a carrying vehicle (e.g., a trailer, a truck) and carried.

[0026] Glass plates G are used, for example, in flat panel displays (FPDs) such as LCDs (Liquid Crystal Displays) and OLEDs (Organic Light-Emitting Diodes).

[0027] like Figure 2 As shown, glass plates G are stacked one on top of the other with the backing paper 3 in between. The backing paper 3 is, for example, a sheet-like clamping device placed between the glass plates G when multiple glass plates G are stacked during transportation and storage. The backing paper 3 is formed into a rectangular shape with an area larger than that of the glass plates G. Therefore, the backing paper 3 is placed between the glass plates G with its edge extending from the edge of the glass plate G.

[0028] The storage container 11 is mainly composed of a base 12, a stop 13, a longitudinal pressing component 14, and a transverse pressing component 15. The stop 13, the longitudinal pressing component 14, and the transverse pressing component 15 are respectively disposed on the base 12.

[0029] A buffer sheet 17 is provided on the upper surface of the base 12, and the upper surface side of the buffer sheet 17 forms a storage section S. Moreover, in the storage container 11, a plate-shaped stack 1 of glass plates G is stored in the storage section S along the upper surface of the base 12.

[0030] The pedestal 12 has a first surface 12a, a second surface 12b, a third surface 12c, and a fourth surface 12d. The first surface 12a is the front surface of the pedestal 12, and the second surface 12b is the rear surface of the pedestal 12. The third surface 12c and the fourth surface 12d are the side surfaces of the pedestal 12.

[0031] The stop member 13 is formed in the shape of a plate and is mounted on the first surface 12a of the base 12. The longitudinal pressing member 14 is attached to and detached from the second surface 12b of the base 12. The transverse pressing member 15 is attached to and detached from the third surface 12c and the fourth surface 12d of the base 12, respectively.

[0032] One side of the plate-shaped laminate 1 abuts against the stop member 13 provided on the first surface 12a of the base 12, and the other side is pressed by the longitudinal pressing member 14 installed on the second surface 12b of the base 12. In addition, the two sides of the plate-shaped laminate 1 are pressed by the transverse pressing members 15 installed on the third surface 12c and the fourth surface 12d of the base 12. Thus, the plate-shaped laminate 1 is stored in the storage container 11 in a state in which its entire circumference is held.

[0033] Fitting portions 25 are provided at each corner of the base 12. The fitting portions 25 are formed in a square cylindrical shape, and the support columns 26 can be fitted and installed into the fitting portions 25 from the top side. When the storage containers 11 are stacked into multiple layers, these support columns 26 are inserted into and installed into the fitting portions 25, and fitted into the fitting portions 25 of the upper layer of storage containers 11. Thus, multiple storage containers 11 are overlapped at intervals in the vertical direction.

[0034] Figure 3 This is a three-dimensional view taken from the bottom side of the storage container 11. Figure 4 It is a top view of the pedestal 12 cut in the horizontal direction and viewed from the rear side.

[0035] like Figure 3 and Figure 4 As shown, the pedestal 12 is formed into a rectangular shape when viewed from above by joining multiple rod-shaped horizontal members 21 and multiple rod-shaped vertical members 22. The horizontal members 21 and vertical members 22 are, for example, square tubes made of aluminum alloy, stainless steel, etc. The pedestal 12 is constructed by joining a pair of frames 23, which are formed by joining the horizontal members 21 in a grid pattern, vertically using the vertical members 22. As a result, the pedestal 12 can be made lightweight.

[0036] The pedestal 12 has a pair of longitudinal fork holes (fork holes) 31 and a pair of transverse fork holes (fork holes) 32. These longitudinal fork holes 31 and transverse fork holes 32 are disposed between the upper and lower frames 23 constituting the pedestal 12. The longitudinal fork holes 31 are disposed along the front-back direction of the pedestal 12, covering the first surface 12a and the second surface 12b, and the transverse fork holes 32 are disposed along the left-right direction of the pedestal 12, covering the third surface 12c and the fourth surface 12d.

[0037] These longitudinal fork holes 31 and transverse fork holes 32 are holes for inserting a pair of forks of a forklift used to transport and store the container 11. That is, in the longitudinal fork holes 31, the forks are inserted and removed from the first surface 12a or the second surface 12b of the base 12; in the transverse fork holes 32, the forks are inserted and removed from the third surface 12c or the fourth surface 12d of the base 12.

[0038] The upper inner surface of the longitudinal fork hole 31 is covered by upper panels (plates) 35. These upper panels 35 are attached to the frame 23 on the upper side and are arranged in the lengthwise direction of the longitudinal fork hole 31. Similarly, the upper inner surface of the transverse fork hole 32 is covered by upper panels (plates) 36. These upper panels 36 are attached to the frame 23 on the upper side and are arranged in the lengthwise direction of the transverse fork hole 32. These upper panels 35, 36 are made of a metal material such as stainless steel, aluminum, aluminum subjected to alumite treatment, or steel. The upper panels 35, 36 can also be painted on the surface. The thickness of the upper panels 35, 36 is preferably 1 mm to 5 mm, and more preferably 1 mm to 3 mm. Furthermore, the upper panels 36 arranged on the upper inner surface of the transverse fork hole 32 are divided into a plurality of pieces, except for the arrangement position of the upper panels 35 arranged on the upper inner surface of the longitudinal fork hole 31 in the frame 23 on the upper side. The upper panels 35 and the divided upper panels 36 are preferably welded to eliminate the joint. In addition, the upper panels 35, 36 preferably have their corners chamfered. By chamfering the corners of the upper panels 35, 36, the fork of the fork truck is less likely to get caught.

[0039] Thus, by arranging the upper panels 35, 36 on the longitudinal fork hole 31 and the transverse fork hole 32, the contact with the frame 23 constituting the pedestal 12 when the fork is inserted into or pulled out of the longitudinal fork hole 31 or the transverse fork hole 32 is suppressed.

[0040] As described above, according to the storage container 11 of the present embodiment, even in a case where it is difficult to visually recognize the insertion state of the fork into the longitudinal fork hole 31 and the transverse fork hole 32 of the pedestal 12, the fork can be smoothly inserted into or pulled out of the longitudinal fork hole 31 or the transverse fork hole 32. Thus, the impact on the glass plate G due to the contact of the fork with the frame 23 of the pedestal 12 or the like is suppressed, and the glass plate G can be safely transported.

[0041] Next, a modified example will be described.

[0042] Furthermore, the same reference numerals are assigned to the same structural parts as those of the above-described embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted.

[0043] Figure 5 is a side view illustrating a modified example in which the storage container 11 is supported obliquely. Figure 6 is a perspective view from the lower side illustrating a modified example in which the storage container 11 is supported obliquely. Figure 7 is a plan view in which the pedestal 42 is cut in the horizontal direction and viewed from the back side. Figure 8 is a side view illustrating the storage state of the storage container 11 of the modified example in the container C.

[0044] As Figures 5 to 7As shown, in the modification, the pedestal 42 and a plurality of supports 43 having different lengths are provided, and the supports 43 are vertically provided on the upper portion of the pedestal 42. The supports 43 are joined to the upper portion of the pedestal 42. Further, the storage container 11 is supported in an inclined state on the upper portion of the pedestal 42 by the plurality of supports 43 having different lengths. Specifically, the storage container 11 is provided in an inclined state in which the front portion side having the stopper 13 is disposed on the lower end side, and the rear portion side having the longitudinal pressing member 16 is disposed on the upper side. Thus, in this modification, the storage portion S of the storage plate-shaped body stack 1 is disposed in an inclined state on the upper portion of the pedestal 42. In this way, in the modification in which the storage container 11 is supported in an inclined state, the size in the front-rear direction is suppressed. Thus, as shown, the storage plate-shaped body stack 1 can be smoothly stored in the small space of the container C for transportation. Further, in the modification, one lateral pressing member 15 is provided on each of the left and right side surfaces of the storage container 11. Figure 8

[0045] The pedestal 42 has a first surface 42a, a second surface 42b, a third surface 42c, and a fourth surface 42d. The first surface 42a is the front surface of the pedestal 42, and the second surface 42b is the rear surface of the pedestal 42. The third surface 42c and the fourth surface 42d are the side surfaces of the pedestal 42, respectively.

[0046] The pedestal 42 is formed in a rectangular shape in plan view by joining a plurality of rod-shaped lateral members 51 and a plurality of rod-shaped longitudinal members 52. The lateral members 51 and the longitudinal members 52 are, for example, square tubes made of an aluminum alloy, stainless steel, or the like, and the pedestal 42 is configured by joining a pair of frames 53 in which the lateral members 51 are joined in a lattice shape by the longitudinal members 52, up and down. Thus, the weight of the pedestal 42 can be reduced.

[0047] The pedestal 42 has a pair of longitudinal fork holes (fork holes) 61 and a pair of lateral fork holes (fork holes) 62. These longitudinal fork holes 61 and lateral fork holes 62 are provided between the upper and lower frames 53 that configure the pedestal 42. The longitudinal fork holes 61 are provided along the front-rear direction of the pedestal 42 across the first surface 42a and the second surface 42b of the pedestal 42, and the lateral fork holes 62 are provided along the left-right direction of the pedestal 42 across the third surface 42c and the fourth surface 42d of the pedestal 42.

[0048] These longitudinal fork holes 61 and lateral fork holes 62 are holes into which a pair of forks of a forklift truck that carries the storage container 11 is inserted. That is, in the longitudinal fork holes 61, the forks are inserted and extracted from the first surface 42a or the second surface 42b of the pedestal 42, and in the lateral fork holes 62, the forks are inserted and extracted from the third surface 42c or the fourth surface 42d of the pedestal 42.

[0049] The upper inner surface of the vertical fork hole 61 is covered by upper panels (plates) 65. These upper panels 65 are attached to the frame 53 on the upper side and are arranged along the length direction of the vertical fork hole 61. Similarly, the upper inner surface of the horizontal fork hole 62 is covered by upper panels (plates) 66. These upper panels 66 are attached to the frame 53 on the upper side and are arranged along the length direction of the horizontal fork hole 62. These upper panels 65, 66 are preferably made of stainless steel plates. Furthermore, the upper panels 65 arranged on the upper inner surface of the vertical fork hole 61 are divided into a plurality of panels, and the upper panels 66 arranged on the upper inner surface of the horizontal fork hole 62 are arranged except for the arrangement position of the upper panels 66 arranged on the upper inner surface of the horizontal fork hole 62 in the frame 53 on the upper side.

[0050] Thus, by arranging the upper panels 65, 66 on the vertical fork hole 61 and the horizontal fork hole 62, it is possible to suppress contact with the frame 53 of the pedestal 42 when the fork is inserted into or pulled out of the vertical fork hole 61 or the horizontal fork hole 62.

[0051] Thus, in the modified example, even in a case where it is difficult to visually recognize the insertion state of the fork into the vertical fork hole 61 and the horizontal fork hole 62 of the pedestal 42, it is possible to smoothly insert and pull out the fork into the vertical fork hole 61 or the horizontal fork hole 62. Thus, it is possible to suppress the application of impact to the glass plate G due to contact of the fork with the frame 53 of the pedestal 42 or the like, and it is possible to safely transport the glass plate G.

[0052] In addition, in the modified example, a configuration in which the storage container 11 is supported obliquely on the upper portion of the pedestal 42 is exemplified, but it is also possible to support a back plate obliquely on the upper portion of the pedestal 42, and to fix a bottom plate to the lower end of the back plate in a manner that becomes substantially at right angles with respect to the back plate, and to form the storage portion S of the storage plate-shaped body stack 1 by the back plate and the bottom plate.

[0053] In addition, in the above-described embodiment and the modified example, the upper panels 35, 36, 65, 66 are arranged on the vertical fork holes 31, 61 and the horizontal fork holes 32, 62 of the pedestals 12, 42, but it is also possible to arrange a plate on the lower inner surface of the vertical fork holes 31, 61 and the horizontal fork holes 32, 62, and furthermore, it is also possible to arrange a plate on the side inner surface of the vertical fork holes 31, 61 and the horizontal fork holes 32, 62. If a plate is thus arranged, it is possible to more smoothly insert and pull out the fork into the vertical fork holes 31, 61 and the horizontal fork holes 32, 62.

[0054] Note that the present application can be used as a storage container that stores electronic devices other than LCDs, OLEDs, and FPDs, such as glass substrates for optical elements, glass disks, solar cells, and the like. In addition, as the stored plate-shaped body, it is not limited to a glass plate, and for example, it can be a plate-shaped body formed of metal, ceramic, or resin.

[0055] Thus, the present application is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications, applications, and changes based on the description of the present specification and publicly known technologies are possible, and are intended to be included in the scope of the present application.

[0056] As described above, the following matters are disclosed in the present specification.

[0058] According to the board storage container of this structure, since the upper inner surface of the fork hole is covered by the board, contact with a component that constitutes the pedestal when the fork of the forklift is inserted into or pulled out of the fork hole can be suppressed. Therefore, even in a case where it is difficult to visually recognize the insertion state of the fork into the fork hole of the pedestal, the fork can be smoothly inserted into or pulled out of the fork hole. Thus, the impact on the board due to contact of the fork with the component that constitutes the pedestal can be suppressed, and the board can be safely transported.

[0059] (2) The board storage container according to (1), wherein the pedestal is constituted by a pair of frames constituted by joining a plurality of rod-shaped cross members in a lattice shape and a plurality of rod-shaped longitudinal members that join the frames at intervals in the vertical direction, and the fork hole is formed by a space portion surrounded by the cross members and the longitudinal members.

[0060] According to the board storage container of this structure, the fork of the forklift can be smoothly inserted into or pulled out of the fork hole, and the pedestal can be made lightweight.

[0061] (3) The board storage container according to (1) or (2), wherein the storage portion is provided along an upper surface of the pedestal.
