A casting machine for use in a lead strip caster

Abstract

The application discloses a casting machine used by a lead strip blank continuous casting machine, and belongs to the technical field of lead-acid storage battery grid manufacturing equipment. The casting machine comprises a molten pool, a crystallization cavity and a cold water circulation pipeline. The molten pool is located at the upper part and is used for containing lead water and keeping the lead water in a liquid state; the crystallization cavity is located at the lower part and comprises a fixed side crystallization plate, a movable side crystallization plate and a width adjusting strip, forms a micro-inverted V-shaped cavity and is used for rapidly crystallizing and forming the lead water; and the cold water circulation pipeline is used for heat dissipation of the crystallization cavity. The movable side crystallization plate and the width adjusting strip are adjustable, the thickness and the width of the lead strip blank are flexibly controlled, the lead strip blank is rapidly, stably and continuously cast in a high quality, and the problems of the traditional roll type casting and rolling machine, such as being heavy, slow crystallization and poor mechanical property of the cast blank, are solved.
