Abstract

This invention proposes an ionic liquid-modified copper-based catalyst, its preparation method, and its application, belonging to the technical field of organic catalytic synthesis, to solve the technical problems of low catalytic activity, poor methanol selectivity, and poor stability of copper-based catalysts. The method involves loading an ionic liquid onto a copper-based catalyst using an equal-volume impregnation method. The preparation method is simple and controllable, achieving uniform dispersion of the ionic liquid within the catalyst. This preparation method utilizes the electronic modulation and stabilizing effects of the ionic liquid to effectively regulate the electronic structure and dispersion state of the active copper center, and enhances its synergistic effect with the zinc oxide support. When this bimetallic ionic liquid composite catalyst is used in a fixed-bed carbon dioxide hydrogenation reaction, the methanol selectivity reaches 99%, and the STY value reaches 32.3 mmol.
