A razor handle characterized by, The handle comprises: an elongated holding portion having a first end and a second end; and an attachment region at the first end of the elongated holding portion, the attachment region comprising means for attaching a razor cartridge to the razor handle, wherein the elongated holding portion comprises a first luminescent region, wherein the first luminescent region comprises: i. one or more layers of a luminescent coating covering a portion of the elongated holding portion; and / or ii. a grip region formed from a luminescent resin, wherein the grip region has: a higher coefficient of friction; and / or a lower hardness compared to the rest of the elongated holding portion.
2. The razor handle of claim 1, wherein The attachment region comprises a second luminescent region.
3. The razor handle of claim 2, wherein: a. the second luminescent region comprises one or more layers of a luminescent coating; or b. the second luminescent region is formed from a luminescent resin.

A razor handle according to claim 3, wherein The second luminescent region comprises a rotatable ball or disc formed from a luminescent resin, the rotatable ball or disc being rotatably attached to the razor handle, and wherein the rotatable ball or disc allows the razor cartridge to rotate relative to the razor handle when the attachment region is attached to the razor cartridge.
5. The razor handle of claim 1, wherein The first luminescent region has a CIE LAB L* value greater than 50.
6. A razor handle according to claim 5, wherein, The first luminescent region has a CIE LAB L* value greater than 70.
7. The razor handle of claim 1, wherein The first luminescent region comprises at least two layers of a luminescent coating, optionally comprising at least three layers of a luminescent coating.
8. A razor handle according to claim 7, wherein, Each layer of the luminescent coating has a thickness from about 1 micrometer to about 100 micrometers.
9. The razor handle of claim 1, wherein The luminescent coating is white, yellow, or green.

The razor handle of claim 1, wherein The first luminescent region comprises: one or more layers of ink having a CIE LAB L* value greater than 50; and one or more layers of a luminescent coating on top of the one or more layers of ink, wherein the luminescent coating is transparent or translucent.
11. The razor handle of claim 1, wherein At least a portion of the first luminescent region has an achromatic, white, yellow, or green appearance.
12. The razor handle of claim 1, wherein A portion of the razor handle other than the first luminescent region has a black, grey, blue, red, or brown appearance.
13. The razor handle of claim 1, wherein The transparent or translucent luminescent coating comprises a luminescent additive in an amount of 0.5% to 80% by weight.
14. The razor handle of claim 1, wherein The luminescent resin comprises a luminescent additive in an amount of 0.01% to 30% by weight.

The razor handle of claim 1, wherein The first luminescent region forms a distinguishing portion of the razor handle that provides a visual signal to a user when the razor handle is placed in a dark environment, the visual signal allowing the user to distinguish the first end and the second end.
16. The razor handle of claim 1, wherein The one or more layers of ink are white, yellow, green, blue, or pink ink.
17. A razor characterized by, The razor comprises: the razor handle of claim 1; and a razor cartridge comprising one or more blades, the razor cartridge being attached to the attachment region.
18. The razor of claim 17, wherein, The razor cartridge comprises a luminescent region.

A razor accessory for holding a razor, characterized by The razor accessory includes a luminous area including a luminous coating disposed on a substrate that provides razor alignment information to a user under lighted conditions and dark conditions; wherein the razor alignment information informs a user of a position to which a razor is aligned when the razor is placed into the razor accessory; wherein the area covered by the luminous coating has a different appearance than the area not covered by the luminous coating such that under lighted conditions, the razor alignment information is provided by the different appearance, and wherein under dark conditions, the razor alignment information is provided by the glow provided by the luminous coating.
20. The razor blade assembly of claim 19, wherein, The razor accessory is a razor stand.
