Description

Technical Field

[0001] This utility model relates to the field of wire stranding processing, and specifically to a stranding machine. Background Technology

[0002] In the wire harness industry, stranded wire is made by interlocking at least two processed wires at a certain pitch. Traditional stranding is a step-by-step process, which requires stripping, threading, and crimping terminals on both ends of the wires separately in the early stages. After that, the processed wires are manually placed on a stranding machine for stranding, resulting in long turnaround time and low production efficiency. Utility Model Content

[0003] Therefore, to solve the above problems, this utility model provides a stranding machine.

[0034] The present invention will now be further described in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0035] Reference Figures 1 to 9 As shown, this embodiment provides a stranding machine, specifically a four-wire stranding machine, including a main unit 100 and a stranding section 200 disposed at the rear end of the main unit 100, wherein:

[0036] The main unit 100 includes a first wire end operation module, a second wire end operation module, a stripping mechanism 13, and a front twisting mechanism 16. Both the first and second wire end operation modules include a movable wire clamping mechanism and a threading mechanism and a crimping mechanism distributed along the movement trajectory of the wire clamping mechanism. The wire clamping mechanism, threading mechanism, and crimping mechanism of the first wire end operation module are defined as a first wire clamping mechanism 11, a first threading mechanism 121, and a first crimping mechanism 122, respectively. The wire clamping mechanism, threading mechanism, and crimping mechanism of the second wire end operation module are defined as a second wire clamping mechanism 14, a second threading mechanism 151, and a second crimping mechanism 152, respectively. The stripping mechanism 13 is disposed between the first wire clamping mechanism 11 and the second wire clamping mechanism 14. Furthermore, the front twisting mechanism 16 is disposed on one side of the second wire end operation module.

[0037] The stranded wire section 200 includes a first slide rail 21, a second slide rail 22, a wire pulling mechanism 23, a front conveying mechanism 30, a rear conveying mechanism 40, and a rear stranding head mechanism 50. The first slide rail 21 and the second slide rail 22 extend in the front-to-back direction. The wire pulling mechanism 23 is slidably mounted on the first slide rail 21 and corresponds to the stripping mechanism 13. The second slide rail 22 has a suspended structure. The front conveying mechanism 30, the rear conveying mechanism 40, and the rear stranding head mechanism 50 are all hung upside down on the second slide rail 22, that is, the tops of the front conveying mechanism 30, the rear conveying mechanism 40, and the rear stranding head mechanism 50 are connected to the second slide rail 22. Specifically, the second slide rail 22 is provided with multiple tracks to respectively cooperate with the aforementioned front conveying mechanism 30, the rear conveying mechanism 40, and the rear stranding head mechanism 50 to avoid mutual interference. The rear twisting head mechanism 50 corresponds to the front twisting head mechanism 16; the front conveying mechanism 30 and the rear conveying mechanism 40 are distributed in front and behind and correspond to the second line end operation module. In the lateral direction (i.e., the left and right direction) perpendicular to the extension of the second slide rail 22, the front conveying mechanism 30 and the rear conveying mechanism 40 are located between the wire pulling mechanism 23 and the rear twisting head mechanism 50 and are provided with a wire clamping group that can slide laterally.

[0038] During operation, the wire harness enters from the inlet end. The first clamping mechanism 11 clamps the first end of the wire harness and moves it to the stripping mechanism 13, the first threading mechanism 121, and the first crimping mechanism 122 respectively to perform stripping, threading, and crimping operations. After the first end of the wire harness completes the operation, the first clamping mechanism 11 passes the first end of the wire harness through the stripping mechanism 13. Then, the pulling mechanism 23 clamps the first end of the wire harness forward and pulls it backward to a suitable position. At this time, the second clamping mechanism 14 clamps the second end of the wire harness from the stripping mechanism 13, and then the clamping group of the conveying mechanism 40 clamps the first end of the wire harness. Stripping... Mechanism 13 strips the insulation from the second end of the wire harness. Then, the second wire clamping mechanism 14 moves the second end of the wire harness to the second threading mechanism 151 and the second crimping mechanism 152 respectively to perform threading and crimping operations. During this process, the wire clamping group of the rear conveying mechanism 40 also moves laterally to ensure the stability of the wire harness. After the operation of the second end is completed, the wire clamping group of the front conveying mechanism 30 clamps the second end of the wire harness and transfers it to the front twisting head mechanism 16. At the same time, the wire clamping group of the rear conveying mechanism 40 transfers the first end of the wire harness to the rear twisting head mechanism 50. The twisting is achieved through the cooperation of the front twisting head mechanism 16 and the rear twisting head mechanism 50.

[0039] The stranding machine of this application integrates wire end processing and stranding operations into one unit, eliminating the need for separate operations and manual operation, achieving mechanized processing, saving labor costs, and improving stranding efficiency. It also has the following advantages: 1. The main unit 100 includes a first wire end operation module, a second wire end operation module, and a stripping mechanism 13. The stripping mechanism 13 corresponds to both the first and second wire end operation modules and is used to strip the wire from both ends, saving parts and costs. 2. The wire pulling mechanism 23 also corresponds to the stripping mechanism 13. After the first wire end operation module completes its operation, the wire can be pulled from the stripping mechanism 13 into the second wire end operation module and the stranding unit 200 for further processing, ensuring smooth wire transfer. 3. The front conveying mechanism 30 and the rear conveying mechanism 40 are used for horizontal transport of the wire, ensuring stable wire transport. 4. The second slide rail 22 is a suspended structure. The front conveying mechanism 30, the rear conveying mechanism 40 and the rear auger mechanism 50 are all suspended upside down on the second slide rail 22, providing more working space. At the same time, in the prior art, when the slide rail is set at the bottom, falling wires or other debris can easily obstruct the sliding of each mechanism. However, the upside-down structure of this application will not be affected by falling wires or other debris.

[0040] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the movement trajectories of the first wire clamping mechanism 11 and the second wire clamping mechanism 14 are both linear movements. Specifically, the main unit 100 is provided with a first guide rail 17 and a second guide rail 18 that are distributed front to back and parallel to each other. In this embodiment, the first guide rail 17 and the second guide rail 18 both extend in the left-right direction. The first wire clamping mechanism 11 and the second wire clamping mechanism 14 are slidably mounted on the first guide rail 17 and the second guide rail 18, respectively. The stripping mechanism 13 is located between the first guide rail 17 and the second guide rail 18. The first wire clamping mechanism 11 faces the wire inlet end, and the second wire clamping mechanism 14 faces the stranded wire portion. The first wire clamping mechanism 11 slides linearly on the first guide rail 17 and corresponds to the stripping mechanism 13, the first threading mechanism 121, and the first crimping mechanism 122, respectively. The second wire clamping mechanism 14 slides linearly on the second guide rail 18 and corresponds to the stripping mechanism 13, the second threading mechanism 151, and the second crimping mechanism 152, respectively.

[0041] In a further preferred embodiment, both the first guide rail 17 and the second guide rail 18 have overlapping sections and non-overlapping extension sections. The first bolting mechanism 121 and the first crimping mechanism 122 are disposed on the side end of the second guide rail 18 to correspond to the extension section of the first guide rail 17. The second bolting mechanism 151 and the second crimping mechanism 152 are disposed on the side end of the first guide rail 17 to correspond to the extension section of the second guide rail 18. The peeling mechanism 13 is located between the overlapping sections of the first guide rail 17 and the second guide rail 18. This arrangement further saves layout space.

[0042] The first wire clamping mechanism 11 and the second wire clamping mechanism 14 have the same structure, as shown in the reference. Figure 3As shown, taking the first wire clamping mechanism 11 as an example, it includes a guide rail drive device 112, a fixed base 111, two sets of double-wire clamping assemblies 113, and two sets of propulsion devices 114. The fixed base 111 is slidably mounted on the first guide rail 17. The guide rail drive device 112 drives and connects to the fixed base 111, so as to drive the fixed base 111 to slide left and right on the first guide rail 17. The two sets of double-wire clamping assemblies 113 are mounted side by side on the fixed base 111 and can move back and forth relative to the fixed base 111. The two sets of propulsion devices 114 drive and connect to the two sets of double-wire clamping assemblies 113 respectively. Each set of double-wire clamping assemblies 113 can clamp two wires, and a total of four wires can be clamped. Taking the wire stripping operation as an example, the guide rail drive device 112 drives the fixed base 111 to move to the stripping mechanism 13. Two sets of propulsion devices 114 respectively drive two sets of double-wire clamping assemblies 113 to approach the stripping mechanism 13, so that the first end of the wire is inserted into the stripping mechanism 13 for stripping. After completion, the two sets of double-wire clamping assemblies 113 are driven back to their original positions. The same principle applies to threading and crimping operations. Specifically, the two sets of double-wire clamping assemblies 113 are driven by two sets of propulsion devices 114 and can be operated independently. For example, the two sets of double-wire clamping assemblies 113 can be pushed into the processing mechanism (such as the stripping mechanism, threading mechanism, or crimping mechanism) one after the other, or they can be pushed into the processing mechanism simultaneously. Of course, in other embodiments, the two sets of double-wire clamping assemblies 113 can also be driven by the same propulsion device 114 to achieve synchronous movement.

[0043] Furthermore, the aforementioned double-wire clamping assembly 113, peeling mechanism 13, bolt threading mechanism, and crimping mechanism are all existing structures, and their specific structures and operating principles will not be detailed here.

[0044] The above discloses one preferred embodiment of the first wire end operation module and the second wire end operation module. Of course, in other embodiments, the structure and layout of the first wire end operation module and the second wire end operation module are not limited to this. For example, the first guide rail 17 and the second guide rail 18 may not be arranged in parallel, or the first wire clamping mechanism 11 and the second wire clamping mechanism 14 may be oscillating, and the stripping mechanism 13, the bolting mechanism and the crimping mechanism are distributed on the oscillation trajectory; and so on.

[0045] The stranded wire section 200 also includes a frame 20, which has an internally hollow support frame. The first slide rail 21 is disposed on one side beam of the support frame, and the second slide rail 22 is disposed on the top beam of the support frame.

[0046] Specifically, such as Figure 6As shown, the wire pulling mechanism 23 includes a wire pulling driver (not shown), a wire pulling carriage 231, and a first wire clamping group disposed on the upper surface of the wire pulling carriage 231. The wire pulling carriage 231 is slidably mounted on the first slide rail 21, and the wire pulling driver drives the wire pulling carriage 231. The first wire clamping group includes four clamps 232 arranged side by side and four clamping drivers 233 respectively connected to the four clamps 232. During operation, the wire pulling driver drives the wire pulling carriage 231 to move forward, and the four clamps 232 respectively clamp the four wires passing through the stripping mechanism 13. Then, the wire pulling driver drives the wire pulling carriage 231 to move backward, pulling out a suitable wire length (this distance is preset); thus completing the wire pulling operation. The first wire clamping group is disposed on the upper surface of the wire pulling carriage 231 to facilitate clamping and transfer by the subsequent rear conveying mechanism 40. Specifically, the wire pulling driver can adopt a drive structure of a motor and a transmission belt as in the prior art.

[0047] Specific reference Figure 8 and Figure 9 As shown, the front conveying mechanism 30 includes a front conveying driver 312, a front conveying carriage 311, a front conveying side sliding driver 313, a front conveying side carriage 314, and a front conveying clamping assembly 32. The front conveying carriage 311 is slidably mounted on the second slide rail 22, and the front conveying driver 312 drives and connects to the front conveying carriage 311. Specifically, the front conveying driver 312 adopts a push cylinder, electric push rod, or a motor and lead screw drive device, etc., as used in the prior art. The front conveying driver 312 is fixedly set and drives and connects to the front conveying carriage 311. Specifically, a fixing plate 317 is fixed on the frame 20, and the front conveying driver 312 is fixed on the fixing plate 317. The front conveying driver 312 can drive the front conveying carriage 311 to slide back and forth on the second slide rail 22. The front conveying carriage 311 is also provided with a transverse guide rail, which extends horizontally left and right. The front conveying side carriage 314 is slidably mounted on the transverse guide rail, and the front conveying side sliding driver 313 drives the front conveying side carriage 314 to slide left and right. The front conveying wire clamping group 32 is the slidable wire clamping group of the front conveying mechanism 30. The front conveying wire clamping group 32 is mounted on the front conveying side carriage 314 and has two sets of double wire clamping groups 320 arranged side by side, and the distance between the two sets of double wire clamping groups 320 is adjustable.

[0048] After the second wire clamping mechanism 14 completes the processing of the second end of the wire harness, the front conveying clamping group 32 is driven to slide back and forth and left and right by the cooperation of the front conveying driver 312 and the front conveying side sliding driver 313, thereby clamping the second end of the wire harness from the second wire clamping mechanism 14 and transferring it to the front twisting head mechanism 16. At the same time, the spacing between the two sets of double wire clamping groups 320 is adjustable. For example, when clamping the wire harness from the second wire clamping mechanism 14, the two sets of double wire clamping groups 320 can be adjusted to be the same as the spacing between the two sets of gripper groups on the second wire clamping mechanism 14, thereby clamping the wire harness from the second wire clamping mechanism 14; then, when transferring to the front twisting head mechanism 16, the two sets of double wire clamping groups 320 can be adjusted to be the same as the spacing between the two sets of twisting heads on the front twisting head mechanism 16, thereby transferring the wire harness to the front twisting head mechanism 16, achieving a smooth and precise transfer.

[0049] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the front conveying mechanism 30 also includes a lifting slide 316 and a lifting driver 315. The lifting slide 316 is slidably mounted on the front conveying side slide 314, and the lifting driver 315 is fixed on the front conveying side slide 314 and drives the lifting slide 316 to slide relative to the front conveying side slide 314. The conveying wire clamping group 32 is mounted on the lifting slide 316. This also allows the two sets of double-wire clamping groups 320 to move up and down, making the four-wire conveying mechanism more flexible. Furthermore, the lifting driver 315 can be implemented using a lifting cylinder or a vertically arranged electric push rod. Of course, in other embodiments, if the two sets of double-wire clamping groups 320 do not require lifting operation, this lifting structure can be omitted, i.e., the two sets of double-wire clamping groups 320 can be directly mounted on the front conveying side slide 314.

[0050] Of the two sets of double-wire clamping groups 320, the double-wire clamping group 320 located on the left is defined as the first double-wire clamping group, and the double-wire clamping group 320 located on the right is defined as the second double-wire clamping group. In this embodiment, the first double-wire clamping group is fixedly mounted on the lifting slide 316. The lifting slide 316 is also equipped with left-right extending guide rails 3161, and the second double-wire clamping group can slide left-right on the guide rails 3161. The system also includes a translation driver 3162, which drives the second double-wire clamping group to achieve adjustable spacing between the two sets of double-wire clamping groups 320. Specifically, the translation driver 3162 is a horizontally positioned push cylinder or electric push rod.

[0051] A buffer 330 is also provided between the two sets of double-wire clamping groups 320. The buffer 330 can be implemented by using a gas spring or other buffering devices to avoid rigid contact between the two sets of double-wire clamping groups 320.

[0052] Specifically, each set of double-line clamping groups 320 has two clamping units 323 arranged side by side, and the spacing between the two clamping units 323 arranged side by side is adjustable; thus, the spacing between the two lines clamped by each set of double-line clamping groups 320 is also adjustable, further improving the adaptability of the four-line conveying mechanism.

[0053] Furthermore, the adjustable structure described above is achieved as follows: each of the two sets of double-wire clamping groups 320 includes a mounting base 321, a slide cylinder 322, and two clamping units 323 arranged side by side. The slide cylinder 322 and one of the clamping units 323 are fixed to the mounting base 321, and the other clamping unit 323 is fixed to the slide cylinder 322. In this embodiment, the mounting base 321 of the first double-wire clamping group is fixed to the lifting slide 316, and the mounting base 321 of the second double-wire clamping group is slidably mounted on the guide rail 3161 of the lifting slide 316. In this way, not only is the spacing between the two sets of double-wire clamping groups 320 adjustable, but the spacing between the two clamping units 323 of the same set of double-wire clamping groups 320 is also adjustable.

[0054] Of course, in other embodiments, if the spacing between the two wires in the same group does not change, the two clamping units 323 of each double wire clamping group 320 can also be in a fixed position.

[0055] Specific reference Figure 7As shown, the rear conveying mechanism 40 includes a main conveying carriage 411, a main conveying driver, a secondary conveying carriage 412, a secondary conveying driver 42, an upper driver 45, an upper clamping wire assembly 46, a lower driver 48, and a lower clamping wire assembly 47. The secondary conveying carriage 412 is located at the front end of the main conveying carriage 411 and is slidably mounted on the second slide rail 22. The main conveying driver drives the main conveying carriage 411 to slide on the second slide rail 22. The secondary conveying driver 42 is fixed to the main conveying carriage 411 and drives the secondary conveying carriage 412. Thus, the main conveying driver can simultaneously drive the main conveying carriage 411 and the secondary conveying carriage 412 to slide as a whole, while the secondary conveying driver 42 can drive the secondary conveying carriage 412 to slide relative to the main conveying carriage 411. The upper wire clamping assembly 46 is slidably mounted on the secondary conveying carriage 412 and has a downward-facing upper jaw clamp 44. The upper driver 45 drives and connects to the upper wire clamping assembly 46. The lower wire clamping assembly 47 is located below the upper wire clamping assembly 46 and is slidably mounted on the main conveying carriage 411. The lower wire clamping assembly 47 has an upward-facing lower jaw clamp 473. The upper wire clamping assembly 46 and the lower wire clamping assembly 47 are the slidably mounted wire clamping assemblies of the rear conveying mechanism 40. Its operation is as follows: the main conveying driver drives the main conveying carriage 411 and the secondary conveying carriage 412 to slide back and forth to correspond to the position of the wire pulling mechanism 23; the upper driver 45 drives the upper wire clamping group 46 to move laterally to grab the first end of the wire harness from the wire pulling mechanism 23; then the upper driver 45 drives the upper wire clamping group 46 to move laterally to cooperate with the switching action of the second wire clamping mechanism 14 in the left and right directions; and the secondary conveying driver 42 drives the secondary conveying carriage 412 to slide back and forth to cooperate with the action of the second wire clamping mechanism 14 to extend the wire harness into the working mechanism (such as the bolting mechanism, crimping mechanism) or retract it, so as to ensure the stability of the wire harness. After the end processing of the wire harness is completed, the lower driver 48 drives the lower clamping group 47 to correspond with the upper clamping group 46 and clamp the second end of the wire harness. The lower clamping group 47 then transfers the wire harness to the rear twisting head mechanism 50. That is, the upward-facing lower jaw 473 of the lower clamping group 47 grabs the wire harness on the upper jaw 44 and transfers it to the rear twisting head mechanism 50, which is beneficial for the transfer operation of the wire harness.

[0056] Specifically, the upper clamping assembly 46 includes a rear conveying connecting frame 43 and an upper jaw clamp 44. The rear conveying connecting frame 43 is slidably mounted on the secondary conveying slide 412, and the upper jaw clamp 44 is slidably mounted on the rear conveying connecting frame 43. The rear conveying connecting frame 43 is also equipped with a lifting driver, which drives the upper jaw clamp 44 to move up and down, making the upper jaw clamp 44 more flexible.

[0057] Specifically, the upper claw 44 of the upper clamping group 46 has the same structure as the conveying clamping group 32 to achieve adjustable spacing; in order to accommodate the change in wire harness spacing from the wire pulling mechanism 23 to the lower clamping group 47 described below.

[0058] Specifically, the lower wire clamping assembly 47 includes a lateral slide 474, a pushing device 471 (in this embodiment, an electric push rod or cylinder), a lifting drive device 472 (in this embodiment, a lifting cylinder), and four sets of wire clamping units. The lateral slide 474 is slidably mounted on the main conveying slide 411. The pushing device 471 is fixed on the lateral slide 474. The lifting drive device 472 is fixed on the drive end of the pushing device 471. The four sets of wire clamping units are fixed on the drive end of the lifting drive device 472. The four sets of wire clamping units are the lower jaw clamps 473. Each of the four sets of wire clamping units includes a clamping cylinder and a jaw connected to the clamping cylinder. The pushing device 471 drives the four sets of wire clamping units to move back and forth, and the lifting drive device 472 drives the four sets of wire clamping units to move up and down. In this way, the lifting, forward and backward translation, and left and right translation operations of the lower jaw clamps 473 are realized to meet the operational requirements.

[0059] Specifically, the lateral spacing between the four sets of wire clamping units is adapted to the lateral spacing between the stranded ends of the two rear stranding mechanisms 50.

[0060] The aforementioned rear conveying mechanism 40 achieves stable transport and transfer of the wire harness through the cooperation of the upper wire clamping group 46 and the lower wire clamping group 47. This is one of the preferred embodiments. Of course, in other embodiments, the cooperation structure of the upper wire clamping group 46 and the lower wire clamping group 47 may not be used. For example, the upper wire clamping group 46 may be used alone.

[0061] Furthermore, the rear twisting head mechanism 50 is a double-wire twisting head device, and there are two of them; that is, the four wire bundles are grouped into two pairs to form two sets of double-wire twisting operations.

[0062] Specifically, the linear actuators that perform various driving operations, such as the guide rail drive device 112, the propulsion device 114, the cable pull drive, the front conveyor drive 33, the front conveyor side-sliding drive 35, the main conveyor drive, the secondary conveyor drive 42, the upper drive 45, the lower drive 48, the pushing device 471, and the lifting drive device 472, can all be implemented using existing technologies such as drive cylinders, hydraulic cylinders, electric push rods, or a combination structure of a motor and a belt. For example, the drive for clamping is implemented using existing technologies such as clamping cylinders. Further details will not be provided here.

[0063] This embodiment fully discloses the solution using a four-wire stranding machine as an example. Of course, in other embodiments, the stranding machine of this application can also be applied to two-wire stranding machines, six-wire stranding machines, etc., as long as the number of grippers in each mechanism is increased or decreased accordingly.

[0064] Although the present invention has been specifically shown and described in conjunction with preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art should understand that various changes in form and detail may be made to the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention as defined in the appended claims, and all such changes shall be within the scope of protection of the present invention.
