A foldable bed, the foldable bed comprising: A bed frame, wherein the bed frame includes a first bed frame section and a second bed frame section, the second bed frame section being rotatably connected to the first bed frame section, and wherein the bed frame is movable between the following configurations: The unfolded configuration, wherein the first bed frame segment and the second bed frame segment are arranged in a horizontal orientation and together form a bed frame configured to support the mattress and a person lying on the mattress; and The retracted configuration, wherein the first bed frame segment and the second bed frame segment are arranged in a vertical orientation. The foldable bed is characterized by further including a floor support and at least one support leg. The floor support includes an upper portion and a lower portion, the upper portion of which is rotatably connected to the first bed frame section, and the lower portion of which is configured to stand upright on the floor of the room. The support leg includes an upper portion and a lower portion, the upper portion of the support leg being connectable to one of the first bed frame section and the second bed frame section, and the lower portion of the support leg being configured to stand upright on the floor of the room.
