Abstract

The present application relates to a light emitting element and a display device including the same. The light emitting element according to an embodiment includes a semiconductor stack including a first semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a second semiconductor layer sequentially disposed in a thickness direction, wherein a thickness of the first semiconductor layer is 100 nm or less, or less than 1 / 6 of a thickness of the semiconductor stack.
