The area covered by the red semi-transparent layer is the part that needs protection, and the area not covered by the red semi-transparent layer is the part that does not need protection. Red is used only to indicate a portion for which protection is requested; the color itself does not require protection. This design does not protect color. The 3D reference view shows the state with the mesh removed, while the front and rear reference views show the state with the mesh removed and the fan blades on the other side.
