COMPLETE CONTINUOUS ISOLATION OF LIQUID STREAMS FROM ASEPTIC PROCESSING CONTAINERS

Abstract

This document provides isolation processes and associated equipment that allow for the isolation of fluid streams from a sterile system (e.g., an aseptic process vessel) that comprises an aseptic process. The isolation processes described in this document allow for the continuous removal of fluid streams (e.g., waste streams, recombinant therapeutic proteins containing fluids) from a sterile system (e.g., a biological production system), which provide for less manual handling of the sterile system and a reduced risk of contamination of the sterile system.
