Abstract

The restoration of sandy soils under difficult climatic conditions is based on the enrichment of a 10 to 30 cm deep layer of sandy soil with 10 to 40 wt. % depolymerized residue from dry distillation of wood at a temperature of up to 300 °C, based on the weight of the mixture with the sandy soil. This mixture is preferably enriched with 5 to 25 wt. % of at least one substance from a group consisting of compost, organic fertilizer, inorganic fertilizers, bacterial cultures of aerobic microorganisms, bacterial nutrients based on carbohydrates, cellulase and amylase, based on the weight of the mixture with the sandy soil. Another part of the invention is a premix for the restoration of sandy soils which consists of a depolymerized residue from dry distillation of wood at a temperature of up to 300 °C and at a maximum of 70 wt.%.at least one substance from a group consisting of compost, organic fertilizer, inorganic fertilizers, bacterial cultures, nutrients or enzymes, in relation to the weight of the premix.
