DOUBLE BASE PLATE FOR TRANSFER OF FORCES TO THE GROUND FOR OLMOS TRANSPORT VEHICLES

Abstract

A dual, omnidirectional mortar base plate for use in mortar transport vehicles, comprising a lower base plate connected to a mortar and an upper base plate. Wherein the dual base plate is adapted to move along a path of movement from a rest position connected to a position for transporting the vehicle, to an operating position connected to a firing position for the mortar and vice versa. Similarly, the dual base plate has elements for rapid stowage in the mortar transport vehicle. The dual base plate consists of a lower plate, an upper plate and the connecting and repositioning elements between the two, so that the forces generated by the firing can be transferred to the ground, isolating the mortar transport vehicle from the forces generated by the firing of the mortar. The truncated cone shape of the hoppers allows the lower plate to move in any direction in which the mortar is fired.
