Abstract
A glass curtain wall comprising one or more columns (2) and one or more crossbars (3) and panels (4-4A) which are fixed with their edges (5) at least to the columns (2) and optionally to the crossbars (3), characterised in that the above-mentioned column is assembled from at least one inner profile (2C) and one outer profile (2A) joined together by means of one or more plastic profiles (2B), wherein at least the inner profile (2C) consists essentially of steel.
