[0001] The invention relates to a fastening device for chimney covers with a ring surrounding the chimney on its outer circumference with support elements, wherein the cover is designed as at least one plate arranged on the ring and attached at a distance from the top edge of the chimney via support elements, which covers the chimney opening in the closed state and exposes it in the open state.
