This can be found, for example, in Unexamined Japanese Patent Application Publication No. JP 2000-77242 A and Unexamined Japanese Patent Application Publication No. JP 2008-210998 A.
[0003] There are reactors in which a plurality of iron cores and coils wound on the iron cores are arranged in an outer peripheral iron core composed of a plurality of outer peripheral iron core sections. In such reactors, the iron cores are formed integrally with the respective outer peripheral iron core sections. Predetermined gaps are formed between the adjacent iron cores in the center of the reactor.

[0005] DE 23 26 294 A discloses a magnetic circuit for multi-phase transformers.
[0006] US 2009 / 0 261 939 A1 discloses an inductor comprising common mode and differential mode flux paths. The inductor comprises a first core having a first segment, a second segment extending from the first segment, and a first bridge segment extending from the second segment; a first wiring arrangement disposed at least partially around the first segment; a second core having a third segment, a fourth segment extending from the third segment, and a second bridge segment extending from the fourth segment; and a second wiring arrangement disposed at least partially around the third segment; wherein the first segment, the second segment, the third segment, and the fourth segment cooperate to promote the common mode flux path, and the first bridge segment and the second bridge segment cooperate to promote the differential mode flux path.

[0008] DE 10 2016 010 901 A1 discloses a three-phase reactor comprising: a central iron core; an outer peripheral iron core surrounding the central iron core; and at least three connecting units magnetically connecting the central iron core and the outer peripheral iron core, each of the connecting units comprising at least one connecting iron core, at least one coil wound around the connecting iron core, and at least one gap.
[0009] WO 2010 / 119324 A2 discloses a built-in multiphase converter comprising a plurality of boost coils. It includes annular self-inductance cores, each provided for one of the boost coils, with a corresponding boost coil wound on each of these cores. Furthermore, annular mutual inductance cores are provided for each pair of boost coils selected from the plurality of boost coils, with the paired boost coils wound on each of these cores. Each of these mutual inductance cores includes a portion of each self-inductance core corresponding to the paired boost coils. Each of the self-inductance cores and the mutual inductance cores has a gap dividing a line in its circumferential direction. Brief description of the invention
[0010] In such reactors, the coils are attached to the iron cores in a state where they are encased in casings. Thus, the heat generated by the coils when the reactor is supplied with electricity can easily accumulate in the casing. As a result, the temperature of the coils rises rapidly, and the temperature of the reactor is highly likely to rise as well.
[0011] Since the fairing is composed of a plurality of parts, there is also a problem in that as the number of coils increases, the number of fairing parts increases.
[0012] A choke whose temperature does not rise so easily is therefore desirable.
[0013] According to a first aspect of the present disclosure, a reactor is provided comprising a core body, the core body comprising an outer peripheral iron core composed of a plurality of outer peripheral iron core sections, at least three iron cores coupled to the plurality of outer peripheral iron core sections, and coils wound on the at least three iron cores, wherein gaps that are magnetically coupled are formed between one of the at least three iron cores and another iron core adjacent thereto, the reactor further comprising cover parts that at least partially cover the iron cores and provide insulation from the coils, and additional cover parts that are attached to edge portions of both side surfaces of the cover parts and at least partially cover the inner surfaces of the outer peripheral iron core sections and provide insulation from the coils, wherein the additional cover parts have shapes corresponding to inner surfaces of the outer peripheral iron cores, and wherein the cover parts are made of a single element.,
[0014] In the first aspect, the coils are not enclosed in covers, and the coils are attached to the iron cores in an exposed state via the cover parts. Thus, when the reactor is supplied with electricity, the heat from the coils can be dissipated to the outside environment, thus preventing a temperature increase of the reactor.

[0016] The embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following drawings, like components are designated by like reference numerals. For ease of understanding, the scales in the drawings have been appropriately modified.
[0017] In the following description, a three-phase reactor is mainly described as an example. However, the present disclosure is not limited to a three-phase reactor, but can be widely applied to any multi-phase reactor that requires a constant inductance in each phase. Furthermore, the reactor according to the present disclosure is not limited to those provided on the primary side or secondary side of the inverters of industrial robots or machine tools, but can be applied to a wide variety of machines.
[0018] Fig. 1A is a plan view of the throttle according to a first embodiment not according to the invention, and Fig. 1B is a partial perspective view of the Fig. 1A. As shown in Fig. 1A and Fig. As shown in Fig. 1B, a core body 5 of a reactor 6 includes an annular outer peripheral iron core 20 and at least three iron core coils 31 to 33 arranged in the outer peripheral core 20 at equal intervals in its circumferential direction. Furthermore, it is preferable that the number of iron cores be a multiple of three, whereby the reactor 6 can be used as a three-phase reactor. Note that the outer peripheral iron core 20 may have a different shape, such as a circular shape. The iron core coils 31 to 33 include iron cores 41 to 43 and coils 51 to 53 wound on the iron cores 41 to 43, respectively.
[0019] The outer peripheral iron core 20 is composed of a plurality of, for example, three, outer peripheral iron core sections 25 to 26 divided in the circumferential direction. The outer peripheral iron core sections 24 to 26 are each integrally formed with the iron cores 41 to 43. The outer peripheral iron core sections 24 to 26 and the iron cores 41 to 43 are formed by stacking a plurality of iron plates, carbon steel plates, or electromagnetic steel sheets, or they are formed from a powder core. When the outer peripheral iron core 20 is formed of a plurality of outer peripheral iron core sections 24 to 26, such an outer peripheral iron core 20 can be easily manufactured even if the outer peripheral iron core 20 is large. Note that the number of iron cores 41 to 43 and the number of iron core sections 24 to 26 are not necessarily the same.
[0020] As from Fig. 1A, the iron cores 41 to 43 have approximately the same size and are arranged at approximately equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral iron core 20. In Fig. 1A, the radially outer ends of the iron cores 41 to 43 are coupled to the outer peripheral iron core 20.
[0021] Furthermore, the radially inner ends of the iron cores 41 to 43 converge toward the center of the outer peripheral iron core 20, and the angles of their tips are approximately 120 degrees. The radially inner ends of the iron cores 41 to 43 are separated from each other by gaps 101 to 103, which may be magnetically coupled.
[0022] In other words, in the first embodiment, the radially inner end of the iron core 41 is separated from the radially inner ends of the two adjacent iron cores 42 and 43 by gaps 101 and 103. The same applies to the other iron cores 42 and 43. Ideally, the sizes of the gaps 101 to 103 are equal to each other, but they may also be different. As can be seen from Fig. As can be seen in Figure 1A, the intersection point of the spaces 101 to 103 is located in the center of the core body 5. The core body 5 is formed rotationally symmetrically around this center.
[0023] In the first embodiment, the iron core coils 31 to 33 are arranged in the outer peripheral iron core 20. In other words, the iron core coils 31 to 33 are surrounded by the outer peripheral iron core 20. Thus, leakage of magnetic flux from the coils 51 to 53 to the outside of the outer peripheral iron core 20 can be reduced.
[0024] With further reference to Fig. 1A, cover parts 61 to 63 formed of an insulating material are arranged between the outer peripheral iron core sections 24 to 26 and the coils 51 to 53, respectively. The cover parts 61 to 63 at least partially cover the respective iron cores 41 to 43 and serve as insulators that provide insulation from the coils 51 to 53.
[0025] At Fig. 2A up to and including Fig. 2C are perspective views showing the manufacturing process of the Fig. 1A. The following describes the installation of the coil 51 on the iron core 41, which is formed integrally with the outer peripheral iron core portion 24. Since essentially the same applies to the other iron cores 42 and 43, they will not be discussed separately.
[0026] The cover part 61 is a tubular element with a rectangular cross-section, which is made of an insulating material, for example, insulating paper or a synthetic resin. Furthermore, additional cover parts 61a and 61b are attached to an edge portion of both side surfaces of the cover part 61. The additional cover parts 61a and 61b serve to at least partially cover the inner surface of the outer peripheral iron core portion 24 in order to provide insulation for the outer peripheral iron core portion 24 from the coil 51. For this purpose, the additional cover parts 61a and 61b have shapes that correspond to the inner surface of the outer peripheral iron core portion 24. For this purpose, the additional cover parts 61a and 61b are preferably formed from a flexible insulating material, for example, insulating paper.
[0027] As indicated by the arrow in Fig. 2A, the tubular cover member 61 is moved toward the iron core 41, whereby the iron core 41 is inserted into the cover member 61. As shown in Fig. 4B, the thickness of the cover part 61 is relatively small. As shown in the Fig. 2B and Fig. 2C, the exposed coil 51, which is not enclosed in a casing, is then moved toward the iron core 41, thereby inserting the iron core 41 and the cover member 61 into the coil 51. Similarly, the cover members 62 and 63 are attached to the other iron cores 42 and 43 formed integrally with the other outer peripheral iron core portions 25 and 26, and similarly, the exposed coils 52 and 53 are attached. Thereafter, the iron cores 41 to 43 are assembled as shown in Fig. 1A, whereby the throttle 6 is produced.
[0028] Fig. Figure 3A is a plan view of the core body of another choke not according to the invention. The core body 5' of the choke 6' has a configuration substantially similar to that described with reference to Fig. 1A described in detail. In Fig. 3A, casings 91 to 93 are attached to iron cores 41 to 43, respectively, and coils 51 to 53 are housed in casings 91 to 93, respectively. Casing 91 is composed of two half-shaped sections 91a and 91b and a cover section 91c. The same applies to the other casings 92 and 93.
[0029] At Fig. 3B and Fig. 3C are also perspective views illustrating the manufacturing process of the Fig. 3A. As shown in Fig. 3B, the two half-mold sections 91a and 91b of the cover 91 are attached to the axial ends of the coil 51. Next, as shown in Fig. 3C, the cover 91c is attached, whereby the coil 51 is housed in the casing 91. After this, the casing 91 is attached to the iron core 41 in the same manner as described above. The iron cores 41 to 43 are then Fig. 3A, thereby producing the choke 6'. A problem exists with the choke 6' manufactured in this manner in that the heat from the coils 51 to 53 tends to accumulate in the casings 91 to 93 when the choke 6' is supplied with electricity.
[0030] In this regard, in the first embodiment, the coils 51 to 53 are not enclosed in the casings 91 to 93, but are attached to the iron cores 41 to 43 in an exposed state by means of the cover members 61 to 63. Thus, when the reactor 6 is turned on, the heat from the coils 51 to 53 is dissipated to the outside, and consequently, a temperature rise of the reactor 6 can be prevented. Furthermore, since only one cover member 61 is required for one coil 51, the number of parts does not increase significantly even if the number of coils is increased.
[0031] The additional cover parts 61a and 61b of the above-described cover part 61 have shapes corresponding to the inner surface of the outer peripheral iron core portion 24. When the cover part 61 is formed as shown in Fig. 2B, the additional cover pieces 61a and 61b partially cover the inner surface of the outer peripheral iron core portion 24. By using the additional cover pieces 61a and 61b, contact between the end surface of the coil 51 and the inner surface of the outer peripheral iron core portion 24 can be prevented. Thus, it is not always necessary to form a clearance between the coil 51 and the additional cover pieces 61a and 61b. The same applies to the additional cover pieces 62a and 62b of the further cover piece 62 and the additional cover pieces 63a and 63b of the further cover piece 63. Thus, if the additional cover pieces 61a to 63b are provided, the reactor 6 can be made downsized.
[0032] At Fig. 4A and Fig. 4B are perspective views showing the manufacturing process of the throttle according to the second embodiment not according to the invention. Fig. 4A includes a protruding portion 61c protruding from an end face of the iron core 41. The cover part 61 shown in Fig. The protruding portion 61c shown in FIG. 4A includes portions extending from the additional cover parts 61a and 61b and a portion protruding from the cover part 61 as a tubular member. However, the protruding portion 61c may include at least one of the portions extending from the additional cover parts 61a and 61b and the portion protruding from the cover part 61 as a tubular member. Furthermore, the cover part 61 may include another protruding portion 61c protruding from the other end surface of the iron core 41.
[0033] When the cover member 61 having such a protruding portion 61c is used, the protruding portion 61c protrudes from the end surfaces of the iron core 41 and the outer peripheral iron core portion 24 as shown in Fig. 4B. As a result, the insulation between the inner surface of the adjacent peripheral iron core portion 24 and the coil 51 can be further improved.
[0034] Furthermore, the core body 5 is not limited to the Fig. 1A. Another configuration of the core body 5, in which the plurality of iron core coils are surrounded by the outer peripheral iron core 20, is included within the scope of the present disclosure.
[0035] Fig. Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the throttle 6 of a third embodiment not according to the invention. The core body 5 of the Fig. The reactor 6 shown in Fig. 5 includes an approximately octagonal outer peripheral iron core 20 and four iron core coils 31 to 34, which are the same as the aforementioned iron core coils and are in contact with the inner surfaces of the outer peripheral iron core 20 or are attached to the outer peripheral iron core 20. These iron core coils 31 to 34 are arranged at substantially equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the reactor 6. Furthermore, the number of iron cores is preferably an even number of 4 or more, so that the reactor 6 can be used as a single-phase reactor.
[0036] As can be seen from the drawing, the iron core coils 31 to 34 include iron cores 41 to 44 extending in the radial direction, and coils 51 to 54 wound on the respective iron cores. The radially outer ends of the iron cores 41 to 44 are in contact with the outer peripheral iron core 20 or are formed integrally with the outer peripheral iron core 20.
[0037] Furthermore, each of the radially inner ends of the iron cores 41 to 44 is located near the center of the outer peripheral iron core 20. In Fig. 5, the radially inner ends of the iron cores 41 to 44 converge toward the center of the outer peripheral iron core 20, and the angles of their tips are approximately 90 degrees. The radially inner ends of the iron cores 41 to 44 are separated from each other by the gaps 101 to 104, which may be magnetically coupled.
[0038] In the third embodiment, the coils 51 to 54 are attached to the iron cores 41 to 44 via the cover parts 61 to 64 in the same manner as described above. The cover parts 61 to 64 each include additional cover parts 61a to 64b similar to those described above. It is thus apparent that the same effects as described above can be achieved. Note that the additional cover parts 61a to 64b preferably have areas large enough to cover the side surfaces of the respective coils. Furthermore, the cover parts 61 to 64 may be provided with protruding portions 61c to 64d similar to those described above. Fig. 6A is a plan view of the throttle according to the fourth embodiment, and Fig. 6B is a perspective view of a Fig. 6A. As can be seen from these drawings, the cover part 60 of the fourth embodiment is a single, substantially Y-shaped member having three tube parts 71 to 73 evenly spaced in the circumferential direction. The cover part 60 is made of an insulating material, such as insulating paper or a synthetic resin. When the tube parts 71 to 73 of the cover part 60 are respectively attached to the iron cores 41 to 43, the cover part 60 covers the iron cores 41 to 43 as a whole and provides insulation from the coils 51 to 53. Fig. 6A, the radially inner ends of the iron cores 41 to 43 and the spaces 101 to 103 are not exposed and are covered by the cover part 60.
[0039] Fig. Figure 6C is a perspective view of another cover part. The tube parts 71 to 73 of the cover shown in Fig. 6C have shapes that generally correspond to the iron cores 41 to 43, respectively. The tube parts 71 to 73 are insulated from each other by a partition 75. The partition 75 has a substantially Y-shape that corresponds to the gaps 101 to 103. The partition 75 is preferably formed of a non-magnetic material or an insulating material, similar to the cover part 60.
[0040] If that in Fig. 6C is attached, the partition wall 75 is arranged in contact with the gaps 101 to 103. Thus, the dimensions of the gaps 101 to 103 can be maintained by the partition wall 75. Thus, the iron cores 41 to 43 do not vibrate even when the reactor 6 is turned on, whereby noise emanating from the reactor 6 and vibration of the reactor 6 can be prevented.
[0041] At Fig. 7A up to and including Fig. 7C are perspective views of the manufacturing process of the reactor according to the fourth embodiment. The following describes the installation of the cover part 60 including the partition wall 75 to the iron cores 41 to 43, which is substantially the same as the example of the cover part 60 without the partition wall 75.
[0042] First, as in Fig. 7A, the cover part 60 is moved toward the coil 51, whereby the tube part 71 of the cover part 60 is inserted into the coil 51. As described above, the coil 51 (and the other coils 52 and 53) is in an exposed state and is not housed in the casing. As shown in Fig. 7B and Fig. As shown in Fig. 7C, the iron core 41 formed integrally with the outer peripheral iron core portion 24 is moved toward the tube part 71 of the cover part 60, thereby inserting the iron core 41 into the tube part 71 and the coil 51. As for the other iron cores 42 and 43 formed integrally with the other outer peripheral iron core portions 25 and 26, respectively, the exposed coils 52 and 53 and the tube parts 72 and 73 are also attached at the same time and in the same manner.
[0043] This will Fig. 6A is manufactured. In this case, since the exposed coils 51 to 53 are insulated by the cover member 60, the same effects as described above can be achieved. Furthermore, by using the cover member 60, it is possible to reduce the number of parts, thereby making it easier to attach the cover member 60 to the iron cores 41 to 43.
[0044] At Fig. Fig. 8 is also a perspective view of a cover part used in the throttle according to the fifth embodiment. On the top side of the tube part 71 of the Fig. 8, a projection 79 is provided at a position radially outward than the coil 51. The height of the projection 79 is preferably less than the thickness of the coil 51. Such a projection 79 is preferably attached after the coil 51 has been attached to the tube part 71. The projection 79 may be attached to the underside of the tube part 71, or projections 79 may be attached to both the top and bottom of the tube part 71. Although not shown in the drawing, projections 79 are also attached to the other tube parts 72 and 73 in the same manner. When such projections 79 are attached, the coils 51 to 53 can be fixed in their attachment positions. Thus, after assembling the reactor 6, it is possible to prevent contact between the coils 51 to 53 and the outer peripheral iron core portions 24 to 26.
[0045] At Fig. 9 is also a plan view of the throttle according to the fifth embodiment. Fig. 9 equals Fig. 5. In Fig. 9, an approximately X-shaped cover member 60 including four tube members 71 to 74 is attached to the iron cores 41 to 44. It should be understood that in this case, the reactor 6 can be manufactured in the same manner as described above, and thus the same effects as described above can be achieved. [0058] In the fifth aspect, it is possible to further improve the insulation between the coils and the inner surfaces of the outer peripheral iron core portions.
[0059] In the sixth aspect, it is easier to attach the cover parts to the iron cores because it is possible to reduce the number of components.
[0060] In the seventh aspect, noise and vibration of the throttle can be prevented because the sizes of the gaps can be maintained by the partition wall.
[0061] In the eighth aspect, contact between the coils and the outer peripheral iron core portions can be prevented.
[0062] In the ninth aspect, the choke can be used as a three-phase choke.
[0063] In the tenth aspect, the choke can be used as a single-phase choke.
[0064] Furthermore, suitable combinations of some of the embodiments described above are within the scope of the present disclosure.
