Description
The invention relates to a belt. Such a belt can be worn as a garment by a human being, in particular, to enrobe the abdomen thereof, for example, to thereby hold a hernia tight, or to loosely grip a feminine wear, or as a fashioning accessory.From US patent US 2 430 957 A a belt is known which comprises a band having ends, one of the ends being provided with an elongate opening of a predetermined width and the other of the ends being provided with a plurality of rows of diametrically opposed slots suitable for receiving the portions of the former end between the sides of the opening and the edges of the belt, the slots having sides substantially perpendicular to the edges of the band.From US patent US 2 925 607 A a non-enclosed belt is known, the length of which exceeds a maximum body circumference by one third, with coorperating cut-outs to cross over the belt ends, the belt being slung in a circumferential position almost exclusively by frictional force of the superposed belt portions, the frictional pressure being caused by the body of the encumbered person.It is an object of the invention to propose improvements with respect to a belt.The object is achieved by a belt according to claim 1. preferred or advantageous embodiments of the invention and other categories of invention are evident from the further claims, the following description and the attached figures.The belt consists solely of a band. The belt does not have further components. The band extends along a central longitudinal line between, i.e. from a first to a second end of the band or belt. The tape has two flat sides and first and second side edges. Both side edges extend in the direction or along the central longitudinal line, i.e. next to, but not necessarily parallel to, this.The strap includes a closure assembly. This serves or is designed for closing the belt. The closing arrangement contains, in particular exactly, a recess in the band and at least, in particular exactly, a hook section of the band for the recess. The recess and the hook section are configured together or in cooperation in such a way that the band can be hooked on the hook section into the recess and thus the location of the band there and can thus be fastened. This results in a wrapping section of the band or belt, which actually surrounds a body of a person, for example, between the recess and the hook section. The groove is configured to cause the hooking of the hook section of the band in the recess and thus of the location of the band there. In this respect, the recess, the hook section and the groove are thus coordinated with one another, in particular with regard to their dimensions, shapes, the material or the properties of the strip, etc.In particular, at least two grooves are thus provided at different longitudinal positions of the band in the direction of the central longitudinal line. In particular, all grooves lie on the same side edge, the other side edge then remains free of grooves.
