Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a cable drum joint connection for a hoisting mechanism, in which a cable drum is connected via the cable drum joint connection to a transmission of a drive, having a transmission-side joint part comprising a first coupling portion and a cable drum-side joint part comprising a second coupling portion, wherein, in the installed position of the joint parts, first and second coupling portions are formed and arranged to provide an operative connection between the joint parts for transmitting radial forces and torques.Cable drum joint connections of this type are used in hoisting units, in particular in Krahn hoisting units, for transmitting predetermined radial forces and torques. Cable drum joint connections forming the generic type are disclosed, for example, in the laid-open specification DE 30 07 319 A1 and the patent specification DE 10 2006 022 782 B3. Advantageously, these cable drum joint connections are designed to compensate alignment errors during operation, i.e. an angular offset between the joint parts even in the case of large torques to be exceeded, and furthermore to provide a good distribution of the radial load and thus a high service life, wherein relevant safety requirements for bending stress and radial peak loads must be observed. However, due to the high operating forces occurring, wear of the interacting joint parts of such a cable drum joint connection during operation is hardly avoidable, so that at regular intervals or permanently the wear on the cable drum joint connection has to be checked and, if necessary, corresponding measures have to be taken, and the entire cable drum joint connection may have to be replaced. Such an exchange of the cable drum joint connection is not timely with regard to a current basic tendency for resource conservation, so that there is generally a need to focus on resource conservation even during the maintenance of conventional cable drum joint connections, in particular with regard to the use of raw materials and energy, and furthermore to reduce the overall outlay for producing and operating such a cable drum joint connection, for example also to make it more cost-effective.Proceeding from the described prior art, the present invention is based on the technical problem of at least partially avoiding the described disadvantages of the prior art.On the device side, this object is achieved by a cable drum joint connection having the features of claim 1. The cable drum joint connection according to the invention is designed for use for a hoisting mechanism, in which a cable drum is connected via a cable drum joint connection to a transmission of a drive, wherein the cable drum joint connection has a transmission-side joint part comprising a first coupling section and a cable drum-side joint part comprising a second coupling section, and wherein, in the installed position of the joint parts, the first and second coupling sections are designed and arranged to provide an operative connection between the joint parts for transmitting radial forces and torques. The cable drum joint connection according to the invention is characterized in that the joint part on the transmission side has a plurality of first coupling sections which are spaced apart or adjacent with respect to an axis and which can each be brought into an operative connection by an associated relative change in arrangement of the joint part on the transmission side and the joint part on the cable drum side with respect to one another. The cable drum joint connection according to the invention is based on the concept of providing on at least one joint part of the joint connection, in particular the joint part which represents the largest component of the cable drum joint connection, a plurality of similar first coupling sections which can be brought into a respective operative connection with a second coupling section of the further joint part which is adapted thereto and which acts in particular in a complementary manner, such that, when wear occurs between the operatively connected coupling sections of the joint parts, another coupling section, which is in particular functionally and structurally identical, can be selected on the said joint part and brought into operative connection with the coupling section of the other joint part. The functional and structural identity of these similar first coupling sections can generally be produced by an associated relative change in the arrangement of the transmission-side and the cable drum-side joint part, for example by a translatory and / or rotatory movement of one joint part relative to the other joint part. This joint part comprising a plurality of similar coupling sections therefore does not have to be exchanged when a predetermined wear occurs, but instead can be brought into a further operative connection between another of the first coupling sections and the second coupling section of the other joint part by a relative change in arrangement of the joint part on the transmission side to the joint part on the cable drum side.Additional advantageous features and developments of the invention are specified in the following general description, the appended figures, the description of the figures and the further patent claims.Expediently, the plurality of first coupling sections of the joint part on the transmission side, which can be arranged on the joint part on the transmission side in a manner arranged successively or spaced apart with respect to an axis, can be of the same design and can each be designed in cooperation with the second coupling section of the joint part on the cable drum side to produce an identical operative connection with substantially identical torque and radial force transmission. This ensures that, independently of the selection of the first coupling section on the joint part on the transmission side for producing an operative connection with the second coupling section of the joint part on the cable drum side, the same operative connection is always provided, so that when the first coupling section on the joint part on the transmission side is changed for producing an operative connection with the joint part on the cable drum side, the cable drum joint connection behaves functionally identically.Preferably, it can be provided that the transmission-side joint part has the plurality of axially spaced-apart first coupling sections on an outer circumferential surface and the cable drum-side joint part comprises a receptacle which has an inner circumferential surface for configuring the second coupling section. With such a configuration, the transmission-side joint part can be designed as a hub and the cable drum-side joint part as a housing receiving the hub. Preferably, the hub can be designed as a hollow cylindrical hub for receiving a transmission shaft of the drive of a hoisting gear.Depending on the embodiment, the transmission-side joint part can have more than two axially spaced-apart first coupling sections for re-use of the transmission-side joint part in the cable drum joint connection according to the invention. Particularly expediently, the transmission-side joint part can have exactly two axially adjacent or spaced-apart first coupling portions, which can be arranged, for example, on mutually opposite axial end portions of the transmission-side joint part. Such a design measure is particularly expedient in particular when the gearbox-side joint part is designed as a hub, wherein the two axially spaced apart or adjacent first coupling sections can be arranged on mutually opposite axial end sections of the hub.In order to provide coupling sections of similar design on the transmission-side joint part, it can expediently be provided that the transmission-side joint part is designed mirror-symmetrically in a plane perpendicular to the axis. This applies in particular to an embodiment in which the joint part on the transmission side is designed as a hub, so that when the first coupling section of the hub is changed to set an operative connection with the second coupling section of the housing accommodating the hub, the hub is rotated through an angle of 180° with respect to an axis of rotation which lies perpendicular to the axis of the hub, so that the other of the two first coupling sections can be brought into an operative connection with the second coupling section of the coupling housing. Preferably, said mirror symmetry plane may be located on the longitudinal center of the hub.In another embodiment, it can also be provided that the two first coupling sections arranged axially adjacent or spaced apart on the joint part can be transferred by means of a simple translatory movement into a mutual arrangement with respect to the second coupling section of the second joint part. In this embodiment, the first coupling sections of the transmission-side joint part can be structurally identical in this respect and the mirror symmetry described above cannot be present.Depending on the embodiment, the mutually associated coupling sections, which are designed to form an operative connection, can be designed and arranged in a directly intermeshing manner in the installation position of the transmission-side joint part and of the cable drum-side joint part, so that no additional components are necessary at the coupling or force transmission point of the cable drum joint connection according to the invention. In a particularly expedient embodiment, however, it can be provided that, in order to provide the operative connection between the transmission-side joint part and the cable drum-side joint part, force transmission elements, in particular in the form of barrel rollers, are arranged between one of the first coupling sections of the transmission-side joint part and the second coupling section of the cable drum-side joint part. In such an embodiment, first and second coupling sections can have, for example, semicircular tooth arrangements with a plurality of semicircular receptacles serving as bearing surfaces for the force transmission elements, in which the force transmission elements or the barrel rollers are inserted in a longitudinally displaceable manner. In this embodiment, the gear-side joint part designed as a hub can have on its outer surface several, in particular axially adjacent or axially spaced semicircular tooth arrangements for the design of the semicircular receptacles serving as bearing surface for the force transmission elements. With the use of barrel-shaped force transmission elements, in this embodiment of the cable drum joint connection according to the invention, alignment errors between the joint parts can be compensated even in the case of large torques to be transmitted, wherein it is simple to install and provides an optimum distribution of the radial load through a large bearing surface of the force transmission elements or barrel rollers, associated with a long service life of the cable drum joint connection according to the invention, which is furthermore designed for reuse with respect to the joint part on the transmission side, due to the possibility of using a plurality of first coupling sections for setting a respective operative connection between the two joint parts. In a particularly expedient embodiment, it can be provided that no individual force transmission elements are arranged between the first coupling section and the second coupling section in order to provide the operative connection between the transmission-side joint part and the cable drum-side joint part. Instead, the coupling section of one of the joint parts can have a barrel-circle toothing with barrel teeth formed integrally thereon and the other joint part can have a barrel-circle toothing receptacle formed complementary thereto, so that in this embodiment of the cable drum joint connection formed according to the invention, the above-mentioned force transmission elements can be dispensed with and at the same time the described advantages can be provided when using barrel rollers as force transmission elements. In this embodiment, a gear-side joint part designed as a hub with a plurality of first coupling sections, in particular two first coupling sections, can have a plurality of, in particular two axially spaced, barrel-circle toothings or a plurality of, in particular two axially spaced, barrel-circle toothing receptacles. As already shown above, the joint part on the transmission side of the cable drum joint connection according to the invention can be designed as a hub and the joint part on the cable drum side can be designed as a housing receiving the hub. Expediently, the hub can be designed as a hollow hub for receiving a transmission output shaft. Since, during the change from one of the first coupling sections of the transmission-side joint part to another first coupling section of the transmission-side joint part, for establishing an operative connection with the second coupling section of the cable drum-side joint part, a release of the transmission output shaft-hub connection is usually expedient or necessary, this connection should be constructed as simply as possible and in a releasable manner. It can therefore preferably be provided that the hollow hub is formed with an inner surface toothing for providing a shaft-hub connection in the form of a spline toothing (spline toothing) with the transmission output shaft formed with an outer surface toothing. Depending on the embodiment, this spline can be designed, for example, as a spline with involute flanks, as a spline with spline flanks or as a spline with notch flanks. In embodiments in which the hub is designed as a hollow cylindrical hub, a clamping set can be provided, for example, for the force-fit and easy-to-release coupling of the hub and a transmission output shaft received by the hub. In this embodiment, in the coupling section, the hub can be embodied purely cylindrically on its inner surface and also the transmission output shaft can be embodied purely cylindrically on its circumferential surface, wherein the clamping set is arranged radially between the hub and the transmission output shaft. In a further embodiment, it can be provided that the hub is designed as a hollow cylindrical hub for receiving a cylindrical transmission output shaft and is slotted over its longitudinal extension. The slotted hub may further have a corresponding fit for shrink fitting onto the transmission output shaft and biases onto the shaft due to its own resilient restoring force. For disassembly, the hub can be easily forced open by means of pressure screws transverse to the slot direction, a driving wedge into the slot, or a hydraulic pressure cylinder into a receptacle on the outer diameter for pressing open the slot.On the process side, the present invention achieves the technical object indicated above by a method for maintaining a cable drum joint connection which is designed according to one of Claims 1 to 8, and in which the force transmission point or operative connection between one of the first coupling sections of the transmission-side joint part and the second coupling section of the cable drum-side joint part has predefined wear, i.e. the operatively connected first and second coupling sections have wear in such a way that predefined technical dimensional postures are no longer present. The method according to the invention comprises the steps:releasing the worn operative connection or force transmission point between the one of the first coupling sections of the transmission-side joint part and the second coupling section of the cable drum-side joint part;replacing the cable drum-side joint part with the worn second coupling portion by a cable drum-side joint part with the non-worn second coupling portion;establishing an operative connection or force transmission point between the cable drum-side joint part with an unworn second coupling section and the transmission-side joint part, in which at least one of the first coupling sections is worn out, in such a way that an operative connection or force transmission point is established between the second coupling section of the cable drum-side joint part and an unworn first coupling section of the transmission-side joint part.In embodiments in which the joint part on the transmission side is designed as a hub and the joint part on the cable drum side is designed as a housing for receiving the hub, the method according to the invention can be carried out by replacing the housing of the cable drum joint connection according to the invention and then by setting the operative connection of the second coupling section of the new coupling housing to an unmated first coupling section of the unmated coupling hub.In such embodiments, in which force transmission elements, in particular barrel rollers, are inserted between a first coupling section of the gear-side joint part and the second coupling section of the cable-drum-side joint part for setting an operative connection or force transmission point between the two joint parts, it can also be provided, during maintenance of the cable-drum joint connection carried out according to the invention, to replace the force transmission elements, such as the barrel rollers, in addition to the cable-drum-side joint part, in particular in addition to the coupling housing. The invention is explained in the following by describing an embodiment with reference to the attached figures, wherein FIG. 1 : a cable drum joint connection designed according to the invention in a perspective view, and FIG. 2 : the cable drum joint connection according to the invention from FIG. 1 in an exploded illustration.shows.As an exemplary and particularly advantageous cable drum joint connection according to the invention for a hoisting mechanism, a barrel clutch 1 is explained below, together with modifications, as can be used in particular for cranes hoisting mechanisms in which a cable drum is connected via the cable drum joint connection to a transmission of a drive. Such a hoisting mechanism, not shown in the figures, comprises a motor, preferably an electric motor, followed by a reduction gear, wherein a cable drum connected thereto is driven via the reduction gear.Between the reduction gear and the cable drum, the barrel coupling 1 shown in FIG. 1 can be arranged, which transfers the torque from the reduction gear to the cable drum and at the same time absorbs radial loads. A particular advantage of such a barrel clutch 1 is the accommodation of angular displacements of the axis of the cable drum and of the transmission output as well as its property of accommodating axial displacements. The barrel clutch 1 according to the invention of FIG. 1 has a clutch hub 2 with a hub receptacle 20 for receiving the shaft on the transmission output side, which is not shown in the figure, wherein, for the positive fixing of the shaft in the hub, feather key grooves 21 can be provided for partially receiving a feather key extending in partial sections both into the hub and into the received shaft. In the described embodiment, the clutch hub 2 has two clutch sections K 1.1, K 1.2 spaced apart in the axial direction of the hub. In the illustration of FIG. 1, only the first-mentioned first coupling section K1.1 is visible, since the second coupling section K1.2 is concealed by the cable drum-side joint part, which is designed here as a coupling housing 4, for setting an operative connection or force transmission between the coupling hub 2 and the coupling housing 4.On the cable drum side, the coupling housing 4 has a connecting flange 40 which comprises a plurality of circumferentially spaced screw holes 41 for fastening to an associated connecting flange of the cable drum, not shown.FIG. 2 shows the barrel clutch 1 according to the invention of FIG. 1 in an exploded illustration, i.e. with the active connection of the clutch sections K 1.1, K 2 of the clutch hub 2 and of the clutch housing 4 thus resolved. The barrel clutch 1 according to the invention has a clutch hub 2 which, in the embodiment described, comprises two first clutch portions K 1.1, K 1.2 on its outer circumferential surface, wherein these first clutch portions K 1.1, K 1.2 are formed mirror-symmetrically with respect to one another in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hub. This mirror plane can be located in the longitudinal center of the clutch hub 2.The first coupling sections K 1.1, K 1.2 comprise circumferentially successive receiving depressions 22.1, 22.2 with external teeth 23.1, 23.2 delimiting these. For coupling the clutch hub 2 to the clutch housing 4, the latter has a single second clutch section K2 which extends axially like the first clutch sections of the hub and is designed and configured for cooperation with one of the two first clutch sections K1.1, K1.2 of the clutch hub 2.The clutch housing 4 has on its inner surface circumferentially successive receiving depressions 42 which are separated by associated internal teeth 43 of the clutch housing 4. As can be seen from FIG. 2, to set an operative connection or a force transmission between clutch hub 2 and clutch housing 4, barrel rollers 6 are provided which are arranged on a pitch circle and are mounted in the rows of receiving depressions 22.2 and 42. In this case, the receiving depressions 22.2 are formed on an external toothing 23.2 on the clutch hub 2, while the receiving depressions 42 are formed on the internal toothing 43 on the clutch housing 4. For clarity of illustration, in Fig. 2 some of the barrel rollers 6 are removed. As already explained, in the arrangement of the barrel clutch 1 according to the invention shown in the figure, the first clutch section K1.2 of the clutch hub 2 is brought into operative connection with the second clutch section K2 of the clutch housing 4 by appropriate alignment of the hub 2 and the housing 4 with respect to one another and introduction of the barrel rollers 6, so that they come to rest in the receiving depressions 22.2 of the clutch hub 2 and the receiving depressions 42 of the clutch housing 4.The barrel clutch 1 according to the invention is designed, on account of the mirror symmetry described, in such a way that, by rotating the clutch hub 2 about an axis of rotation which runs perpendicular to the axis of the clutch 1, the other first clutch section K1.1 of the clutch hub 2 is arranged for setting an operative connection to the second clutch section K2 of the clutch housing 4 via the described arrangement of the barrel rollers 6 in the arranged receiving depressions 22.1, 42.For axially securing the barrel rollers 6 on the clutch hub 2, a pressure ring 7 and a securing ring 8 are provided, which can be designed as a disk securing ring. On the transmission side, an outer cover 9 can be provided as a termination, which in the assembled state abuts on the transmission-side end face of the clutch housing 4 and can be fastened to the latter by means of screw connections. On the cable drum side, an O-ring, not shown, can be provided as a seal between the clutch hub 2 and the clutch housing 4. In the assembled state of the components of the barrel clutch 1 according to the invention shown in FIG. 2, the pressure ring 7 engages in a respective groove 24.1 or 24.2 of the clutch hub 2, depending on which of the two first clutch sections K1.1, K1.2 is brought into operative connection with the clutch housing 4.The design according to the invention of the described barrel clutch 1 enables resource-saving maintenance of the barrel clutch 1, since at least the clutch hub 2 in the described embodiment can be used twice and, depending on the wear, the clutch housing 4 alone together with the barrel rollers 6, and optionally the seals and the pressure ring 7, has to be replaced, so that at least the largest component of the barrel clutch 1 can be reused.List of reference characters1 Cable drum joint connection, barrel coupling 2 joint part on the transmission side, coupling hub 4 joint part on the cable drum side, coupling housing 6 barrel roller 7 pressure ring 8 securing ring 9 outer cover 10 double lip seal 20 hub receptacle 21 feather key groove 22.1 receiving recess 22.2 receiving recess 23.1 external toothing 23.2 external toothing 24.1 groove 24.2 groove 40 connecting flange 41 screw hole 42 receiving recess 43 internal toothing K1.1 first coupling section K1.2 first coupling section K2 second coupling sectionReferences included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
