Abstract

Outerwear with a button or zipper placket and at least two sewn-on breast pockets, wherein - the breast pockets are each designed with an internal bellows pocket bag, - each breast pocket has a first opening, - the first incision has an incision opening with a groin pocket with a flap, wherein the first incision is arranged horizontally, - each breast pocket has a second opening, - the second opening has an access opening with a welt pocket with a zipper, the second opening being arranged vertically and to the button or zipper placket.

Description

[0001] The present invention relates to outerwear with a button or zipper placket and at least two sewn-on breast pockets.

[0002] Outerwear such as jackets, shirts, or blouses with sewn-on breast pockets is already known. The breast pockets serve to keep small items like pens, glasses, or small notebooks readily accessible. A shirt with a breast pocket is described in the German patent application DE 201 01 674 U1.

[0003] However, such outerwear with chest pockets has the disadvantage that the chest pockets have a small volume. Due to this limited space, only small items can be stored in the chest pockets. Larger items cannot be placed inside, and the chest pockets cannot be closed.

These breast pockets are typically designed as bellows pockets. The pleats on the sides of the pocket increase its capacity compared to other pockets. This allows for more space for items when needed. Access to such a pocket is either through a top opening with a flap or through a side opening (Napoleon pocket) with a zipper. The side opening allows the pocket to be used when the soldier is wearing a backpack and the straps prevent access from the top.

[0007] Breast pockets designed as bellows pockets have the disadvantage that inserting items increases their volume, causing them to protrude from the garment. This effect can be exacerbated by women's larger busts. This makes it easier for enemy forces to distinguish between male and female soldiers. Furthermore, the protruding breast pockets pose a risk of snagging on them in confined spaces.

[0008] The technical object of the present invention is to reduce the protrusion of a filled breast pocket from the outer garment.

As a result, the wearer's silhouette remains largely unchanged, making it difficult to distinguish between male and female wearers.This can be important, for example, with military uniforms, as a woman's field blouse stands out less from her chest or upper body. This prevents targeted targeting of female soldiers.

[0013] Another advantage is that snagging on objects or items is avoided when the inner bellows pocket is filled with items and the outer clothing, and not just the breast pocket, stands out from the chest of the wearer.

This horizontal opening ensures that stored items are held securely and are less likely to fall out when retrieving them. The flap provides quick access to the items while simultaneously protecting them from dust, dirt, and other environmental factors.

Consequently, easy access to and placement of items within the inner bellows pocket remains possible.

[1] Outerwear with a button or zipper placket and at least two sewn-on breast pockets, wherein - the breast pockets are each designed with an internal bellows pocket bag, - each breast pocket has a first opening, - the first incision has an incision opening with a groin pocket with a flap, wherein the first incision is arranged horizontally, - each breast pocket has a second opening, - the second opening has an access opening with a welt pocket with a zipper, the second opening being arranged vertically and to the button or zipper placket. [2] Outerwear according to claim 1, wherein the inner bellows pocket bags are made of the same outer fabric as the outerwear. [3] Outerwear according to claim 1 characterized bythat the internal bellows pouches consist of a mesh lining. [4] Outerwear according to any of the preceding claims characterized by , that the second access opening with welt pocket with zipper has a flap.
