Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a facade aid set for applying fabric to a building facade during plastering - for fastening to a scaffolding.
[0002] For example, with thin-layer plaster, it is necessary to install a reinforcing mesh underneath the plaster. Such a mesh is also necessary for inhomogeneous building surfaces.
[0003] In the state of the art, there are currently no suitable holders for fabric rolls with wound reinforcement mesh.
[0004] US 4,519,502 A describes a rack for packaged plastic bag rolls. CH 687 748 A5 discloses an assembly cart for long building elements. US 10 059 055 B1 describes a mass-loaded support device for vinyl rolls for scaffolding. DE 197 15 628 C1 discloses a device for cutting off sections of a fabric sheet wound into a roll, in particular a plaster reinforcement fabric sheet. A roll holder and an associated unwinding device are described in DE 20 2008 008 824 U1. DE 20 2009 002 536 U1, in turn, discloses an unwinding device for flexible web-like bodies on rolls. WO 2013 / 061 058 A1 describes a scaffolding apparatus for holding and laying out sheets for covering scaffolding.
[0005] Conventional solutions often require two people to hold the fabric roll on the left and right, lift it, and rotate it. Alternatively, if only one person is available, that person must turn the fabric roll, which is ideally located one scaffold level higher, bit by bit by pulling on it. The person standing lower on a scaffold level pulls on the fabric, leaving the roll to lie flat on the floor and (unfortunately) rub / scrape against the floor. Another disadvantage is that the roll rolls and hits the scaffold edges. This can easily cause fabric damage, making precise dosing almost impossible.
[0006] Alternatively, one person can prepare the mesh in loops and, as soon as one loop is used up, move to another level to prepare new loops. This requires changing the scaffolding levels several times, which is time-consuming.
[0007] Without changing the scaffolding levels, the only thing that can be pulled abruptly is the fabric roll placed on a higher scaffold level. This causes the fabric roll to drag on the floor as it rotates, resulting in scratches or tears in the fabric.
[0008] The object of the invention is to provide a solution that overcomes these disadvantages. The invention is intended to enable the application of mesh when plastering a building facade by a single person. It is intended to make changing floors unnecessary, at least as long as the worker is on one level, i.e., a scaffolding floor.
[0009] It should be easy to handle and transport by one person. Ideally, it should be able to be carried with one hand, allowing the user to hold onto the railing with the other hand while climbing. It should be gentle on the tissue and reduce the risk of tissue damage. Furthermore, it should be easy to manufacture.
[0010] The problem is solved by the features of the independent claims. Preferred embodiments are described in the dependent subclaims.
[0011] The subject of the invention is a façade aid kit for applying fabric to a building façade during plastering using scaffolding with scaffold railings and scaffold floor, comprising: • at least two vertical poles with an upper end (for attachment to the scaffold railing) and a lower end and a straight section in between, and • a horizontal bar (for storing the fabric to be applied to the façade) with two end attachment points (one at each end) for hanging on the two vertical bars (at the U-shaped hanging area mentioned below), where the lower end of the vertical bars has: - a substantially U-shaped suspension area for the horizontal bar, and - a straight vertical extension (extending the straight section of the vertical rod), wherein the two end attachment points are selected from eyelets attached to the respective end of the horizontal bar or holes located there in the horizontal bar transverse to the longitudinal extension of the horizontal bar, and wherein the substantially U-shaped suspension area comprises a U-bend open to the upper end and a straight transition section which connects this U-bend to the straight section of the vertical rod and establishes a distance between the straight vertical extension and the long side of the U-bend which is closest to the straight vertical extension, of 5-10 cm
[0012] The “lower end” is used to lean against a lower pole of the scaffolding railing, so that when in use the vertical poles hang vertically, i.e. are perpendicular to the ground.
[0013] “Vertical” in the sense of the invention therefore means perpendicular to the ground when used on scaffolding, and “horizontal” means transverse when used in this way.
[0014] "End attachment points" means that there is an attachment point at each end of the horizontal bar, which can be used to hook the horizontal bar into the U-shaped attachment area of the vertical bars. During use, both vertical bars hang from a scaffold railing at the same height, so that (since at least two vertical bars are of the same design and length), the horizontal bar hangs parallel to the ground.
[0015] "Substantially U-shaped suspension area" on the vertical rods means that a U-shaped bend is formed there using the rods (preferably the same rods as used at the upper end and the straight section). To accommodate the horizontal rod's suspension, this U-shaped bend is ideally positioned with the U-shaped opening facing upwards.
[0016] "Essentially" means that other shapes, such as a V, are also conceivable, and intermediate sections are also possible. In any case, a U-shaped suspension area with a U-bend exists. However, to prevent tilting when using eyelets as end attachment points for the horizontal bar, a U-shape has proven particularly advantageous.
[0017] The fastening of the vertical rods with their upper end to the scaffolding railing can be realized, for example, by means of a U-shaped railing hook, or by means of a right-angled hook, wherein hanging is preferred, so that preferably the upper end comprises a fastening for hanging in the scaffolding railing.
[0018] The “straight vertical extension” extends the straight section of the vertical rod.
[0019] "Extending the straight section of the vertical rod" also includes the straight vertical extension being parallel to the straight section, but slightly offset and not exactly below the end of the straight section. For example, a rod could be welded to the straight section, so that both (the straight section of the vertical rod and the straight vertical extension) are only parallel.
[0020] It makes sense for both vertical rods and horizontal rods and vertical extensions to be round rods / bars; however, rectangular or square profile rods would also be possible.
[0021] Common scaffolding railings are round and have a diameter of 3cm and, with two railings per scaffolding level, a distance of 0.5m from each other (within one level).
[0022] Fabric rolls are usually 1m wide and the fabric strips rolled up on them are very long.
[0023] The invention furthermore also relates to the use of the facade aid set according to the invention for applying fabric to a building facade during plastering (or for the uniform provision of such fabric).
[0024] Finally, the subject matter also includes a method for producing one of the vertical rods according to the invention with an upper end for attachment to a scaffolding railing and a lower end and a straight section therebetween, where the lower end of the vertical bars has: - a substantially U-shaped suspension area for a horizontal bar, and - a straight vertical extension extending the straight section of the vertical rod, with the steps: a) forming a substantially U-shaped suspension area at the lower end of the vertical bar (preferably also forming an oppositely directed U-shaped railing hook at the upper end of the vertical bar), and b) Welding a straight vertical extension (at one end) extending the straight section of the vertical bar to the straight section, with the other end of the vertical extension pointing downwards and not towards the top of the vertical bar.
[0025] Statements regarding the set or individual parts of the set also apply to the method according to the invention or the use according to the invention and vice versa.
[0026] The advantage of the invention is that it can be operated by a single person, as it is easy to handle and transport.
[0027] It (i.e. the complete set of at least three components) can be carried in one hand, as it can be disassembled into elongated or planar components, so that the person can hold on to the scaffolding railing with the other hand when climbing onto the scaffolding.
[0028] The advantage is that the risk of the fabric tearing is significantly lower.
[0029] Another advantage is that the set according to the invention is easy to manufacture.
[0030] It is mobile and can be easily moved / repositioned on the scaffolding railing, even by one person alone.
[0031] It is universal and can be used on all scaffolding currently in use.
[0032] Because it can be operated by just one person, it allows for more efficient use of labor. It can be easily converted from floor to floor.
[0033] Another advantage is that the tissue can be dosed very precisely. Preferred embodiments
[0034] In a preferred embodiment, the straight vertical extension extending the straight section of the vertical rod is a separate rod attached (e.g., welded) to the straight section of the vertical rod.
[0035] Preferably, it is formed in one piece (ie formed from a rod): upper end of the vertical rod (for fastening), straight section, and U-shaped suspension area for the horizontal rod, so that the straight vertical extension is attached as a separate rod (preferably welded). The advantage of this design is that it can be manufactured very easily by repeatedly bending a rod and attaching a straight vertical extension, as mentioned in the method according to the invention.
[0036] In a similarly preferred embodiment, the vertical rods have an extension between the highest and lowest points of 1.25 m ±10% (% refers to the preceding specification, i.e., in meters). The error limits of ±10% specified in the document can preferably be as high as ±5% or even ±2%.
[0037] For the preferred case described elsewhere in the document, where the upper end comprises a U-shaped railing hook, the length of the vertical rod (from the beginning of this U-shaped railing hook to the end of the straight vertical extension) is 1.35m ±10%. This is because the hooking part of this U-shaped railing hook preferably reaches approximately 9.7cm above the railing, resulting in a length of 9.7cm + 1m + 0.25m.
[0038] According to the invention, the two end attachment points are selected from eyelets attached to the respective ends of the horizontal bar or from holes located therein. The eyelets are particularly preferably welded (e.g., as welded rings). The holes are preferably round, but can also be square or rectangular.
[0039] Eyelets or holes preferably have an inner diameter of 14mm±2mm.
[0040] According to the invention, the substantially U-shaped suspension area comprises a U-bend open towards the upper end and a straight transition section which connects this U-bend to the straight section of the vertical rod and creates a distance between the straight vertical extension and the U-bend (more precisely: the long side of the U-bend which is closest to the vertical extension), which distance is 5-10 cm, most preferably 10 cm.
[0041] The U-bend can also be a rod, in particular even bent in one piece with the upper end and the straight section of the vertical rod from the same rod.
[0042] The advantage of this design is that, thanks to the straight transition section and the distance between the U-bend and the straight vertical extension, a thick roll of fabric, which is located on the horizontal bar during use of the invention, can be unrolled without the fabric scraping, for example, against the scaffolding floor. The fabric roll is thus positioned far enough away from the scaffolding that a person standing one scaffold level lower can turn the freely rotating fabric roll overhead or pull on the fabric, allowing the fabric to unroll smoothly and thus be precisely dosed.
[0043] It is particularly preferred if (in the inventive embodiment with a straight transition section) the straight vertical extension and this straight transition section form an angle α in the range of 40°-50°, and the straight transition section and this longitudinal side of the U-bend form an angle β in the range of 40°-50°. Advantageously, the horizontal bar, and thus a fabric roll, has little play and can be unrolled smoothly, and the fabric can be precisely dosed.
[0044] If one angle is, for example, 40°, the other should be 50° and vice versa. This ensures that the U-bend (of the U-shaped suspension area) points vertically downwards when installed, allowing a suspended horizontal bar to settle at the lowest point of the U-bend and ultimately prevent any play when unrolling a roll of fabric. Fabric that is to be pulled off a roll of fabric on the horizontal bar should be able to be pulled off smoothly and evenly and pulled onto the building facade. The fabric should be released smoothly and evenly so that it does not end up in loops on the possibly damp scaffolding floor. The fabric does not drag on the scaffolding floor.
[0045] In a likewise preferred variant of the inventive design with a U-bend and a straight transition section, the vertical rods are each constructed in a planar manner, so that both the U-bend and the straight transition section, as well as the vertical extension, lie in one plane. "Planar" refers here to the specifically mentioned components. A tape measure, for example, mentioned in a later embodiment, is not included in this planarity.
[0046] In this preferred variant, the vertical bars could advantageously be stacked.
[0047] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the height difference between the lowest point of the U-shaped suspension area (in particular this can be the apex of the U) and the lower end of the straight vertical extension is 25±2cm.
[0048] "Top / bottom" here refers to the orientation during use, i.e., when suspended from a scaffold railing. This does not mean the direct connection between the lowest point of the U and the end of the vertical extension, but rather the distances along an imaginary straight line running parallel to the (inventive) straight section of the vertical rod (i.e., relating to a height level).
[0049] This design is ideal for estimating distances using standard scaffolding dimensions. Virtually no measuring equipment is required.
[0050] Particularly preferred is a combination of this embodiment with the embodiment according to the invention, in which “the essentially U-shaped suspension area comprises a U-bend open at the upper end and a straight transition section which connects this U-bend to the straight section of the vertical rod and creates a distance of 5-10 cm between the straight vertical extension and the long side of the U-bend which is closest to the vertical extension.”
[0051] A standard scaffold abuts the vertical extension, ensuring that the vertical rods hang vertically, even if, for example, a weight is placed on the attached horizontal rods. The straight transition section keeps the U-bend at a sufficient distance to allow a roll of fabric to rotate freely. Given its dimensions of 25±2 cm, the length of the fabric can be easily estimated in ¼-meter increments.
[0052] In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the upper end of the vertical rods comprises a U-shaped railing hook for hanging into the scaffolding railing.
[0053] This shaped U is, for good reason, a U that is open at the bottom, like a hook, as it is used to hook it into the scaffolding railing.
[0054] The distance between the two U-shaped legs is preferably 6 cm ± 10%, especially 5.5-6.5 cm or even 6 cm ± 0.2 cm. This dimension is suitable for the common diameters of scaffolding railings, which are approximately 3 cm. The set according to the invention thus fits advantageously on a variety of scaffoldings while still offering sufficient clearance for such a U-shaped railing hook, allowing a single person to move the set laterally while suspended in the scaffolding railing with the often heavy fabric roll attached. This saves travel and thus working time.
[0055] In a particularly preferred variant of this embodiment, the U-shaped railing hook and the U-shaped suspension area are planar and arranged on opposite sides with respect to the straight section of the vertical bar.
[0056] It makes sense for both U's to have an opposite orientation, i.e. the railing hook is open at the bottom and the U of the U-shaped hanging area is open at the top so that a horizontal bar can be hooked in.
[0057] In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the vertical rods are round with a diameter of 10 mm ± 0.2 mm and / or are made of steel. Both advantageously offer sufficient durability while still being manageable.
[0058] In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the horizontal bar has an outer diameter of 2-4 cm, particularly preferably 3 cm ± 0.3 cm.
[0059] This dimension is advantageous for standard mesh rolls (which have a diameter of 5 cm). This prevents the mesh roll, which is intended to be wound onto the horizontal rod, from bouncing during unwinding, allowing the mesh to be pulled smoothly and evenly from the roll or horizontal rod and guided to the building façade to be covered with plaster.
[0060] It is also a preferred embodiment of the invention if: - the upper end, straight section and the substantially U-shaped suspension area of the vertical rods are formed in one piece from a bent rod (e.g. made of steel), and - if the straight vertical extension (with one end) has been welded to the straight section.
[0061] Ideally, it is welded to the straight section in such a way that it and the U-shaped suspension area are planar and in the same plane. It would be advantageous if the vertical rods were stackable.
[0062] Preferably, the weld seam area (at the end of the straight vertical extension being welded) is 11 cm long (measured in the direction of the straight section of the vertical rod), ±3 cm. This advantageously provides sufficient durability while simultaneously saving material and labor during welding. All parts are particularly preferably made of steel.
[0063] In a likewise preferred embodiment of the invention, the vertical bar has an extension between the top and bottom points of 1.25 m ±0.125 m, particularly preferably 1.2-1.3 m. This is the length from the top to the bottom. In embodiments in which a U-shaped railing hook is provided at the top, with the U being open at the bottom, the length of the, for example, bent bar is extended by 9.7 cm (±10%), because the U-shaped railing hook protrudes 9.7 cm (±10%) beyond the apex of the U or protrudes downward by that amount.
[0064] This means that a fabric roll has an optimal height for the intended purpose.
[0065] The vertical pole is mobile and portable.
[0066] The set according to the invention is also preferred if it comprises two of the vertical bars and one horizontal bar; or even if it comprises three vertical bars and two horizontal bars.
[0067] In another preferred embodiment of the invention, the set comprises a tape measure device that can be attached to the straight vertical extension. For example, it can be attached to a rod-shaped projection that is attached perpendicularly to the vertical extension (and thus protrudes laterally at an angle of 90°). The orientation (of the tape measure device) is such that the rotational axis of the tape measure reel corresponds to the longitudinal axis of the rod-shaped projection.
[0068] The tape measure measuring device comprises at least one tape measure with a ring (for finger operation).
[0069] A person standing on the scaffolding can thus operate the measuring tape with one hand and estimate the amount of fabric to be removed from the inventive set. The combination with the version described above is particularly suitable for this purpose, in which the height difference between the lowest point of the U-shaped suspension area (in particular this can be the apex of the U) and the lower end of the straight vertical extension is 25±2cm.
[0070] The tape measure device preferably comprises: a crossbar (the rod-shaped projection) that is attached (or welded) vertically to the vertical extension; a tape measure roll, with a ring for a finger attached to the end of the tape measure. Optionally, a 2 cm long transition piece is provided between the tape measure and the ring. Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the facade aid set according to embodiment 1. Fig. 2 shows a vertical rod in a preferred embodiment according to embodiment 1. Fig. 3 shows the corresponding horizontal bar in a design with eyelets welded on both ends for hanging in the essentially U-shaped hanging area of the vertical bar. Fig. 4 shows the two angles α and β relating to a preferred embodiment of the vertical rods according to embodiment 2. Fig. Figure 5 shows one embodiment of the invention in use on a scaffolding system with three railing poles per level and one scaffold deck per level. The house facade is not shown, but is located on the left side, so that the U-shaped suspension area faces away from the house facade and also from the scaffolding (to the right in the illustration).
[0071] The horizontal rod is suspended from the essentially U-shaped mounting area of the vertical rods using its end-to-end attachment points. Standard fabric rolls can be applied to the horizontal rod beforehand.
[0072] Fig. Figure 6 shows an embodiment in a rear view from the scaffolding onto the straight vertical extension with a tape measure mounted to the side. The height of the scaffolding floor (standing area) in the scaffolding is indicated by a dashed line. The U-shaped suspension area for attaching the horizontal rod is barely visible behind the vertical extension.
[0073] It is advisable to combine the different embodiments with each other, unless otherwise stated.
[0074] The invention will be explained in more detail below using several preferred embodiments. These are not intended to limit the invention. ExamplesExample 1:
[0075] Embodiment 1 corresponds to a preferred embodiment, according to the Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4.
[0076] The horizontal rods 2 have eyelets welded to both ends as fastening points 2a for hanging in the essentially U-shaped hanging area 3 of the vertical rod 1.
[0077] A straight transition section 4 is provided which connects the U-bend of the substantially U-shaped suspension area 3 with the straight section 1c of the vertical rod 1. Example 2:
[0078] Embodiment 2 is constructed like embodiment 1, with the angle α and the angle β being 45° each. [0079] The horizontal rod is suspended from the essentially U-shaped mounting area of the vertical rods using its end-to-end attachment points. Standard fabric rolls can be applied to the horizontal rod beforehand.
[0080] Vertical bars 1 were manufactured by bending a steel bar and welding a vertical extension with an 11 cm long weld seam. Both U-shaped railing hooks and the suspension area are located on opposite sides, spanning a plane, and facing opposite directions with respect to the U-shaped opening. Example 3:
