Abstract

A system for a satellite is described, comprising a support plate and a clamping device. The clamping device can be switched from a holding state, in which it holds the support plate in a transport position, to a release state, in which it allows movement of the support plate from the transport position to a working position. The system is designed such that the support plate is elastically deformed in the transport position, and after switching the clamping device to the release state, a restoring force based on the elastic deformation of the support plate contributes to the movement of the support plate from the transport position to the working position. A corresponding support plate and a satellite are also described.
