Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a laundry care appliance having a controller. When a laundry drum of a conventional laundry care appliance is fully loaded with laundry, it may often not be possible to ensure that all regions of the laundry can be cleaned in an equally optimal manner, since, for example, there is often no sufficiently high concentration of laundry care substance present in the laundry core on account of the lower movement and the lower flooding with wash liquid. This can be a problem in particular when a reduced concentration of laundry care substance is present in the wash liquid due to a large volume of fresh water.EP 2 348 151 A1 describes feeding wash liquid into the wash tub with subsequent activation of a flooding device in order to achieve effective mixing of the laundry with wash liquid. It is the object of the invention to specify a laundry care appliance which ensures effective laundry care in all regions of the laundry accommodated in the laundry drum. This object is achieved by the subject matters having the features according to the independent claims. Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims, the description and the drawings.According to a first aspect, the object according to the invention is achieved by a laundry care appliance, having a dispenser for receiving laundry care substance, a wash tub for receiving washing liquid, wherein the wash tub is fluidically connected to the dispenser, a fresh water feed device which is designed to feed fresh water to the dispenser and to convey the laundry care substance received in the dispenser together with the fresh water into the wash tub, having a laundry drum for receiving laundry, wherein the laundry drum is arranged in the wash tub, a drum drive for rotating the laundry drum, and a controller which is connected in terms of control technology to the fresh water feed device and the drum drive, wherein the controller is designed, during a feed time interval, the fresh water feed device is configured to activate the fresh water feed device for feeding a predetermined portion of fresh water into the dispenser cup and to convey the laundry care substance accommodated in the dispenser cup together with the predetermined portion of fresh water into the tub, wherein the controller is configured to activate the drum drive during the feed time interval to rotate the laundry drum at a predetermined output rotational speed and to set the fed portion of fresh water in the tub in motion by the rotating laundry drum and to release the laundry care substance accommodated in the fresh water in order to obtain washing liquid, wherein the predetermined output rotational speed corresponds to the rotational speed at which the force acting through the rotating laundry drum, in particular the centrifugal force, is sufficiently large, in order to reduce penetration of the fresh water into the laundry accommodated in the laundry drum and / or expel the fresh water from the laundry. This achieves the technical advantage that a washing liquid is obtained in the tub in which the laundry care substance is dissolved, and the washing liquid has a high concentration of laundry care substance. This is achieved in that the laundry care substance required for the laundry care operation and introduced into the dispenser cup is not rinsed into the suds container by the entire amount of fresh water required for the laundry care operation, but instead, during the supply time period, the laundry care substance is rinsed into the suds container only with the predetermined portion of the fresh water, so that a higher concentration of laundry care substance is present in the wash liquid after the laundry care substance has been dissolved by the small liquid volume. The predetermined portion of the fresh water supplied during the supply time interval is smaller than the total amount of fresh water required for the laundry care operation. In particular, the predetermined portion of fresh water supplied during the supply time interval is not sufficient to achieve complete wetting of the laundry absorbed in the laundry. In order to prevent the correspondingly small predetermined portion of the fresh water from being absorbed completely or for the most part by the laundry in the laundry drum, the laundry drum is rotated during the feed time interval at the predetermined output rotational speed at which the force acting on the fresh water by the movement of the drum and / or the centrifugal force acting on the laundry drum is sufficiently large that the supplied portion of the fresh water cannot penetrate or can only penetrate to a small extent as far as the laundry in the laundry drum, or the centrifugal force acting on the laundry in the laundry drum is sufficiently large so that fresh water present in the laundry is driven out of the laundry again. This ensures during the supply time period that the predetermined portion of the fresh water that is supplied only slightly in any case is not taken up by the laundry but is used for releasing the laundry care substance carried along by the fresh water. The rotation of the laundry drum at the output rotational speed causes the supplied fresh water within the tub to move strongly and thereby facilitates the dissolution of the laundry care substance in the predetermined portion of fresh water by the supplied mechanical energy. As a result, even with a relatively small volume of the supplied portion of the fresh water, an advantageous dissolution of the laundry care substance can be achieved, and a highly concentrated washing liquid can be provided after the supply time section.A correspondingly highly concentrated washing liquid can then be supplied to the laundry in the laundry drum and ensures particularly effective laundry care, in particular in the laundry core of the laundry. For this purpose, no additional components such as valves are required, but rather the dissolution and the material transport take place merely via the movement of the laundry drum and the convection occurring in the washing liquid. In particular, the controller is configured during the supply time interval not to activate an optionally present pump of the laundry care appliance for pumping around the supplied portion of fresh water in order to prevent the supplied portion of fresh water from being bound by the laundry.A laundry care appliance is understood to mean an appliance which is used for laundry care, such as a washing machine or a washer-dryer. In particular, such a laundry care appliance is understood to mean a household laundry care appliance. Thus, a laundry care appliance which is used in the context of domestic management and is treated with the laundry in amounts customary in domestic use.In an advantageous embodiment, the predetermined portion of fresh water supplied to the tub by the fresh water supply device during the supply time period is less than the total amount of fresh water required for wetting the laundry accommodated in the laundry drum, wherein the supplied predetermined portion of fresh water is selected in particular such that a complete wetting of the laundry accommodated in the laundry drum is not achieved. This achieves the technical advantage that the predetermined portion of fresh water is sufficiently small to ensure a high concentration of laundry care substance after the dissolution of the laundry care substance. In particular, the predetermined portion of the fresh water supplied during the supply time interval is between 1 liter and 15 liters, in particular between 2 and 4 liters. In particular, the predetermined portion of the fresh water supplied during the supply time period ensures that a fill level of the fresh water present in the tub reaches as far as the lowermost edge of the laundry drum accommodated in the tub.In an advantageous embodiment, the output rotational speed is between 30 revolutions per minute and 500 revolutions per minute, in particular between 40 revolutions per minute and 150 revolutions per minute. This achieves the technical advantage that the output rotational speed advantageously ensures that the supplied portion of fresh water is not taken up by the laundry in the washing drum, but can be effectively moved in the tub by the rotation of the washing drum in order to dissolve the laundry care substance. In an advantageous embodiment, the laundry care appliance has a heating element for heating the washing liquid accommodated in the tub, wherein the controller is connected to the heating element in terms of control technology, wherein the controller is designed to activate the heating element for heating the fresh water during the supply time period and / or to activate the heating element for heating the washing liquid after the supply time period. This achieves the technical advantage that the dissolution of laundry care substance can be improved by heating the fresh water or the washing liquid. In an advantageous embodiment, the laundry care appliance has a fill level sensor for detecting a fill level of washing liquid in the tub, wherein the controller is configured to activate the heating element when the detected fill level of washing liquid exceeds a minimum fill level threshold value. This achieves the technical advantage of ensuring that, when the heating element is activated, sufficient washing liquid is present in the lower region of the tub in order to prevent the heating element from running dry.In an advantageous embodiment, the controller is configured, when the heating element is activated, to activate the drum drive for rotating the laundry drum at a rotational speed which is below a maximum drum rotational speed, in order to ensure that the heating element is covered with washing liquid. This achieves the technical advantage that the maximum drum rotational speed defines an upper threshold value, from which the washing liquid or fresh water moved by the rotation of the laundry drum is set into movement so strongly that covering of the heating element with washing liquid is no longer ensured. By limiting the drum speed to a value below a maximum drum speed, sufficient covering of the heating element with washing liquid can thus be ensured in order to prevent the heating element from running dry.In an advantageous embodiment, the tub has a drain opening and a supply element, and the laundry care appliance has a pump which is fluidically connected to the drain opening and the supply element and is designed to pump wash liquid out of the drain opening and to re-supply the pumped wash liquid to the tub by the supply element in order to pump around the wash liquid, and the controller is designed to activate the pump for pumping around wash liquid after the supply time period. This achieves the technical advantage that, after the dissolution of the laundry care substance during the feed time period, the highly concentrated washing liquid obtained can advantageously be fed back to the laundry during the pumping operation following the feed time period, in order to achieve effective wetting of all regions of the laundry with the highly concentrated washing liquid. In an advantageous embodiment, the controller is configured to activate the pump for pumping the washing liquid around after the laundry drum rotates at the output rotational speed. This achieves the technical advantage that it is ensured that during the pumping-around process the laundry drum is not rotated at the output rotational speed, such that the pumped-around washing liquid remains in the laundry and is not driven out again in the same manner. In an advantageous embodiment, the controller is configured to activate the drum drive for rotating the laundry drum at a constant output rotational speed or at different output rotational speeds during the feed time interval. This achieves the technical advantage that, depending on the application, either constant rotation of the laundry drum or alternating rotation of the laundry drum at different output rotational speeds achieves advantageous dissolution of the laundry care substance. In an advantageous embodiment, the controller is configured to activate the fresh water supply device for supplying at least one further predetermined quantity of fresh water into the suds container after the supply time period, in particular after pumping over washing liquid by the pump. This achieves the technical advantage that the portion of fresh water supplied during the supply time interval does not ensure a sufficiently large volume for complete wetting of the laundry, such that the single or multiple supply of a further predetermined amount of fresh water ensures complete wetting of the laundry with washing liquid. In an advantageous embodiment, the sum of the predetermined portion of fresh water supplied during the supply time interval and the at least one further predetermined amount of fresh water supplied after the supply time interval corresponds to the total amount of fresh water supplied during a laundry care program of the laundry care appliance, wherein in particular the sum corresponds to the total amount of fresh water required for wetting the laundry accommodated in the laundry drum. This achieves the technical advantage that, after the single or multiple feeding of the further predetermined quantity of fresh water, complete wetting of the laundry with washing liquid is ensured. In an advantageous embodiment, the controller is configured to activate the drum drive for rotating the laundry drum at a rotational speed which is below the output rotational speed or which is above the output rotational speed during the feeding of the at least one further predetermined quantity of fresh water. This achieves the technical advantage that it is ensured that, at a rotational speed below the output rotational speed, the supplied further quantity of fresh water is not driven out of the laundry again at the same time, or that, at a rotational speed above the output rotational speed, the supplied further quantity of fresh water is driven out of the laundry again at the same time.According to a second aspect, the object according to the invention is achieved by a method for dissolving laundry care substance in fresh water in a laundry care appliance, wherein the laundry care appliance has an injection tray for receiving laundry care substance, a wash tub for receiving washing liquid, wherein the wash tub is fluidically connected to the injection tray, a fresh water feed device which is designed to feed fresh water to the injection tray and to convey the laundry care substance received in the injection tray together with the fresh water into the wash tub, a laundry drum for receiving laundry, wherein the laundry drum is arranged in the wash tub, a drum drive for rotating the laundry drum, and a controller which is connected in terms of control to the fresh water feed device and the drum drive, wherein the method comprises the following method steps, activating the fresh water supply device during a supply time interval by the controller for supplying a predetermined portion of fresh water into the dispenser cup and for conveying the laundry care substance accommodated in the dispenser cup together with the predetermined amount of fresh water into the tub, activating the drum drive during the supply time interval by the controller for rotating the laundry drum at a predetermined output rotational speed and for setting the fresh water in the tub into motion by the rotating laundry drum and for releasing the laundry care substance accommodated in the fresh water in order to obtain washing liquid, wherein the predetermined output rotational speed corresponds to the rotational speed at which the force acting by the rotating laundry drum, in particular the centrifugal force, is sufficiently great, in order to reduce penetration of the fresh water into the laundry accommodated in the laundry drum and / or expel the fresh water from the laundry. This achieves the technical advantage that advantageous dissolution of the laundry care substance in the predetermined portion of fresh water is achieved. In an advantageous embodiment, the predetermined portion of fresh water supplied to the tub by the fresh water supply device during the supply time period is less than the total amount of fresh water required for wetting the laundry accommodated in the laundry drum, wherein the supplied predetermined portion of fresh water is selected in particular such that a complete wetting of the laundry accommodated in the laundry drum is not achieved. This achieves the technical advantage that a particularly highly concentrated washing liquid is achieved. In an advantageous embodiment, the laundry care appliance has a heating element for heating the washing liquid accommodated in the tub, wherein the controller is connected to the heating element in a control-related manner, wherein the method comprises the further step of: activating the heating element by the controller during or after the supply time period for heating the fresh water or the washing liquid. The embodiments characterized as advantageous embodiments for the laundry care appliance according to the first aspect are likewise advantageous embodiments for the method according to the second aspect and vice versa.Exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and are described in more detail below. The following are shown: FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a laundry care appliance; FIG. 2 shows a schematic view of a laundry care appliance with a controller; and FIG. 3 shows a schematic illustration of a method for dissolving laundry care substance in fresh water in a laundry care appliance.FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a general laundry care apparatus 100 such as a washing machine. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises a dispenser shell 101 into which laundry care substance, in particular washing agents or other liquid substances, can be introduced. The laundry care appliance 100 has an appliance housing 102. The laundry care appliance 100 comprises an appliance door 103 for loading laundry onto the laundry care appliance 100.FIG. 2 shows a schematic view of a laundry care appliance with a controller. The laundry care appliance 100 has a wash tub 105 for receiving wash liquid, and has a laundry drum 107 for receiving laundry. The laundry drum 107 is arranged in the tub 105. The laundry care appliance 100 has a drum drive 109 for rotating the laundry drum 107.An optional pumped circulation system of the laundry care appliance 100 is described below, which is present in the exemplary embodiment present in FIG. 2, but which does not necessarily have to be present for carrying out the present invention. The suds container 105 has a discharge opening 111. The laundry care appliance 100 has a feed element 113. The discharge opening 111 is fluidically connected to the feed element 113 by a liquid line 115, wherein a pump 117 for pumping wash liquid through the liquid line 115 is arranged in the liquid line 115. The pump 117 can pump washing liquid through the discharge opening 111 from the tub 105 into the liquid line 115 during a pumping operation not illustrated in FIG. 2, and can re-supply the washing liquid through the liquid line 115 and through the supply element 113 to the tub 105 and the laundry drum 107. As a result, during a laundry care process, the washing liquid can be pumped effectively around the liquid line 115 and be supplied again to the laundry in the laundry drum 107. Thus, an effective optional pump-around system is realized in the laundry care appliance 100.The laundry care appliance 100 further has a dispenser tray 101 which is only schematically illustrated in FIG. 2 and into which the user of the laundry care appliance 100 fills laundry care substance, and the laundry care appliance 100 further has a fresh water feed device 118- 1 which is only schematically illustrated in FIG. 2 and is connected fluidically to a fresh water connection, not illustrated in FIG. 2, of the laundry care appliance 100. The dispenser cup 101 is fluidically connected to the suds container 105 by a feed line 118- 2. The fresh water feed device 118- 1 is fluidically connected to the dispenser cup 101 by a fresh water line 118- 3. The fresh water supply device 118- 1 is thus designed to flush the laundry care substance accommodated in the dispenser cup 101 into the suds container 105 by the supplied fresh water. The laundry care appliance 100 further comprises a heating element 123 arranged in the tub 105, in particular in a lower region of the tub 105, which is configured to heat the fresh water or washing liquid received in the tub 105.The laundry care appliance 100 further comprises a controller 119 which is connected to the pump 117, which is connected to the drum drive 109, to the fresh water feed device 118- 1 and to the heating element 123 in each case by a control connection 121.The laundry care appliance 100 further comprises an outlet line 125 which is fluidically connected to the liquid line 115. During a pumping-off process, not shown in FIG. 2, the pump 117 is designed to pump off wash liquid from the tub 105 through the discharge opening 111, from the laundry care appliance 100 through the liquid line 115 and through the outlet line 125. It is also possible for two pumps 117 to be present, one of the pumps 117 being used for pumping out the washing liquid from the outlet line 125 and the other of the pumps 117 being used for pumping back washing liquid in the liquid line 115.The laundry care appliance 100 further comprises, in particular, a fill level sensor, not shown in FIG. 2, for detecting a fill level of washing liquid in the wash tub 105.In order to ensure advantageous dissolution of laundry care substance in the supplied fresh water, the controller 119 is designed to activate the fresh water supply device 118- 1 for supplying a predetermined portion of fresh water into the dispenser cup 101 during a supply time period and to convey the laundry care substance accommodated in the dispenser cup 101 together with the predetermined portion of fresh water into the suds container 105.The predetermined portion of fresh water supplied to the tub 105 by the fresh water supply device 118- 1 during the supply time period corresponds here only to a part of the total amount of fresh water supplied during a laundry care program of the laundry care appliance 100. In particular, the predetermined portion of fresh water is smaller than the total amount of fresh water required for complete wetting of the laundry accommodated in the laundry drum 107.According to the present exemplary embodiment, the controller 119 is configured to activate the drum drive 109 to rotate the laundry drum 107 at a predetermined output rotational speed during the supply period and to set the supplied fresh water in the tub 105 in motion by the rotating laundry drum 107 and to release the laundry care substance accommodated in the fresh water in order to obtain washing liquid.By rotating the laundry drum 107 at the predetermined output speed, the fresh water supplied to the tub 105 is mechanically set in motion in such a way that undissolved constituents of the laundry care substance advantageously dissolve in the moving fresh water, and washing liquid is thus obtained.Due to the small predetermined portion of the supplied fresh water used, the washing liquid obtained during the supply time interval has a significantly higher concentration of laundry care substance than is achieved, for example, in a conventional laundry care process. The subsequent introduction of correspondingly highly concentrated, in particular heated, washing liquid into the laundry benefits, in particular, the laundry core, since this results in an improved laundry care result in the laundry core because of less effective mechanical forces and a lower flooding. In addition, no additional water path is required in the laundry care appliance 100 for dissolving the laundry care substance, but rather the transport of the highly concentrated, in particular heated, washing liquid takes place via the drum movement and / or the convection, i.e. the movement of the washing liquid.Since the predetermined portion of the supplied fresh water is less than the amount required for complete wetting of the laundry, it must be ensured that the supplied fresh water either does not come into contact with the laundry at all or only comes into contact with the laundry to a small extent, or that corresponding fresh water bound by the laundry is expelled from the laundry again. For this reason, the laundry drum 107 is rotated at the predetermined discharge speed during the supply period by the controller 119. The predetermined output speed corresponds to the speed at which the force acting on the fresh water by the movement of the drum and / or the centrifugal force acting on the rotating laundry drum 107 is sufficiently large to reduce penetration of the fresh water into the laundry received in the laundry drum 107 and / or to expel the fresh water from the laundry. This ensures that a sufficiently large amount of free fresh water, i.e. fresh water not bound by the laundry, is available in the suds container 105 in order to completely dissolve the laundry care substance in the fresh water. In particular, the output rotational speed is between 30 and 500 revolutions per minute, in particular between 40 and 150 revolutions per minute. The controller 119 is in particular configured to activate the drum drive 109 for rotating the laundry drum 107 at a constant output rotational speed or at different output rotational speeds during the feed time interval. In order to further improve the dissolution of the laundry care substance in the moving fresh water, the controller 119 is in particular configured to activate the heating element 123 for heating the fresh water or the washing liquid during or after the supply time section. By heating the fresh water during the supply time interval or by heating the washing liquid after the supply time interval, it can be ensured that the dissolution of the laundry care substance can be improved. In particular, the laundry care appliance 100 has a fill level sensor for detecting a fill level of washing liquid in the tub 105, wherein the controller 119 is configured here to activate the heating element 123 if the detected fill level of washing liquid exceeds a minimum fill level threshold value. The minimum fill level threshold value corresponds here to a fill level of washing liquid which is arranged just above the heating element 123 in the tub 105 in order to prevent the heating element 123 from running dry.The controller 119 is further configured, in particular, when the heating element 123 is activated, to activate the drum drive 109 for rotating the laundry drum 107 at a rotational speed which is below a maximum drum rotational speed, in order to ensure that the heating element 123 is covered with washing liquid. The maximum drum speed corresponds here to the speed of the laundry drum 107, at which the fresh water moved through the laundry drum 107 still covers the heating element 123 to a part, so that this also prevents the heating element 123 from running dry.Specifically, after dissolving the laundry care substance, the controller 119 activates the pump 117 and pumps the washer fluid from the drain hole 111, and supplies the pumped washer fluid to the tub 105 again through the supply member 113 to pump the washer fluid. This achieves complete and effective wetting of the laundry with the correspondingly highly concentrated, in particular heated, washing liquid, in order to ensure the abovementioned advantages. The controller 119 is in particular configured to activate the pump 117 for pumping the washing liquid around after the rotation of the laundry drum 107 at the output rotational speed. After the pumping of washing liquid by the pump 117, the controller 119 activates in particular the fresh water supply device 118- 1 for supplying at least one further predetermined quantity of fresh water into the solution container 105. This can comprise a single feeding of a further predetermined quantity of fresh water or a repeated feeding of a further predetermined quantity of fresh water. The supplied at least one further predetermined quantity of fresh water together with the predetermined subset of fresh water already supplied during the supply time interval is sufficient for a sufficiently large volume of washing liquid to be present in order to achieve complete wetting of the laundry accommodated in the laundry drum 107.The controller 119 is in particular configured to activate the drum drive 109 for rotating the laundry drum 107 at a rotational speed which is below the output rotational speed during the feeding of the at least one further predetermined quantity of fresh water, such that the washing liquid remains in the laundry. An advantageous laundry care process is thus achieved.FIG. 3 shows a schematic illustration of a method for dissolving laundry care substance in fresh water in a laundry care appliance. The method 200 comprises, as a first method step, the activation 201 of the fresh water feed device 118- 1 during a feed time interval by the controller 119 for feeding a predetermined portion of fresh water into the dispenser cup 101 and for conveying the laundry care substance accommodated in the dispenser cup 101 together with the predetermined portion of fresh water into the tub 105.The method 200 comprises, as a second method step, activating 203 the drum drive 109 during the feed time interval by the controller 119 in order to rotate the laundry drum 107 at a predetermined output rotational speed and to set the fresh water in the tub 105 in motion by the rotating laundry drum 107 and to release the laundry care substance absorbed in the fresh water in order to obtain wash liquid, wherein the predetermined output rotational speed corresponds to the rotational speed at which the force acting on the fresh water by the motion of the drum and / or the centrifugal force acting on the rotating laundry drum 107 is sufficiently large to reduce penetration of the fresh water into the laundry absorbed in the laundry drum 107 and / or to expel the fresh water from the laundry. All features explained and shown in connection with individual exemplary embodiments of the invention can be provided in different combinations in the subject matter according to the invention in order to realize their advantageous effects at the same time. The scope of the present invention is given by the claims and is not limited by the features explained in the specification or shown in the figures.List of reference characters100 Laundry care appliance 101 Dispenser tray 102 Appliance housing 103 Appliance door 105 Suds container 107 Laundry drum 109 Drum drive 111 Discharge opening 113 Feed element 115 Liquid line 117 Pump 118- 1 Fresh water feed device 118- 2 Feed line 118- 3 Fresh water line 119 Controller 121 Control connection 123 Heating element 125 Outlet line 200 Method for wetting laundry 201 First method step: Activating the fresh water feed device 203 Second method step: Activating the drum driveReferences included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
