Abstract

The invention relates to an electronic device of automation technology with an electronic circuit board (EP) which is embedded in a second plastic injection-molded part (T2) which is produced in a second injection-mold process and is at least partially encased by a third plastic injection-molded part (T3) which is produced in a third injection-mold process. The electronic circuit board (EP) is connected to a connecting cable (20) which has an injection-molded cable plug (26) on an outer wall (22) as a first plastic injection-molded part (T1), which is produced in a first injection-molding process to form a cable outlet (24) for the electronic device (10). The cable plug (26) has a first annular groove (30a) with a sealing element (34), which is enveloped by the second plastic injection-molded part (T2) and seals the electronic circuit board (EP). The cable plug (26) has a second annular groove (30b) for aligning the connecting cable (20) in the third injection-molding process, which second annular groove is enveloped by the second plastic injection-molded part (T2) in the third injection-molding process. The invention also relates to a manufacturing method.
