Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a device for the precise application of sealing tape, in particular for applying sealing tape that is unrolled from a roll. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a kit of parts comprising the device for applying sealing tape, a roll holder for unrolled sealing tape, and a method for the precise application of sealing tape.
[0002] It is well known that sealing tape is used in drywall construction for sound insulation and noise insulation. Since metal profiles are known to be used in drywall construction to hold substructures for ceilings or wall elements for walls, and these metal profiles also need to be covered with sealing tape to minimize noise transmission, there is a special sealing tape that is applied to the metal profiles, e.g., U-profiles or CD profiles.
[0003] The sealing tape used for noise reduction is usually purchased in a roll. To apply the sealing tape to a metal profile, it is unrolled by hand and adhered piece by piece to the metal profile. It is important to ensure that the tape is applied evenly to the profiles to ensure a precise fit. With metal profiles typically several meters long, applying the sealing tape to the profiles is time-consuming, as it requires millimeter-precise work and adjustments as necessary to ensure the metal profiles are evenly covered with sealing tape along their entire length.
