Description

[0001] The invention relates to a cable bushing for passing cables between an inside and an outside of a circuit housing, in particular a control cabinet, and to an arrangement with a circuit housing and a cable bushing. background

[0002] Cable entry bushings are used to insert cables from the outside into circuit housings, especially control cabinets, through their walls without allowing the penetration of foreign objects and / or liquids, which could impair functional reliability. Cable entry bushings in various designs are known from the state of the art.

[0003] For example, from document DE 20 2019 105 325 U1, an insertion component for a cable wall feedthrough is known, comprising a frame component made of a hard material component, which at least partially surrounds a component opening; a membrane made of a soft material component, which covers the component opening; a fastening device which is designed to secure the frame component with the membrane to a cable wall feedthrough when said frame component is inserted into a through-opening of the cable wall feedthrough; and an arrangement of cable receptacles, which have cable receptacles distributed over a surface of the membrane, which in a cable insertion direction running transversely to the surface of the membrane each have a push-through membrane section arranged on the front and a cable grommet arranged on the rear, which is designed to form a strain relief for an inserted cable.

[0004] The document DE 20 2019 100 362 U1 describes a cable bushing for passing cables through a separating element, comprising a bushing housing having a housing interior defined by a lateral housing wall and a housing base with a base opening for passing through a plurality of cables; a dividing component arranged in the housing interior opposite the housing base and providing receptacles; sealing elements each arranged in one of the receptacles and having a cable passage configured to receive a cable in a sealing manner;and- a screw-in and locking component which, with respect to the feedthrough housing, has a proximal threaded portion and a distal threaded portion, wherein the proximal threaded portion is screwed into an internal threaded portion of the feedthrough housing in such a way that the dividing component and the sealing elements are secured in the housing interior by means of the screw-in and locking component, and the distal threaded portion is configured to form a screw connection with a screwing partner for mounting the feedthrough housing in the region of an opening of a separating element.;

[0005] The document DE 10 2018 221 627 A1 describes a cable bushing whose housing has an opening as a cable inlet and chambers that can be equipped with cable grommets as a cable outlet, wherein a cross-sectional plane of the opening and cross-sectional planes of the chambers intersect and the cross-sectional planes of at least two different chambers run parallel or intersecting at a distance from one another.

[0006] Cable entry devices are designed to route cables required for specific applications into circuit housings as universally as possible. These devices do not provide any additional functions.

[0007] For specific applications, it is known in the art to provide modular units for connection to specific devices, which are adapted to such a device to enable safe and efficient connection of the conductors required for the specific application. For example, document DE 10 2014 215 058 A1 describes a connection device for connecting electrical cables to an electric motor.

[0008] Accordingly, document DE 10 2012 109 478 A1 discloses an electrical connection device comprising a housing for the connection device and a holding device. The housing for the connection device is provided with a housing wall separating a housing interior from a housing exterior, an inner opening in the housing wall, wherein the housing for the connection device is configured to be arranged on an opening of a housing of a device part, surrounding the opening of the housing of the device part, such that the inner opening forms a passage from the housing interior to an interior of the housing of the device part, and a plurality of sealing openings forming a respective passage from the housing interior to the housing exterior. In each of the sealing openings, a sealing element is arranged which is configured to sealingly receive a cable, such that the cable is guided in a sealed manner from the housing exterior into the housing interior. The holding device is arranged in the feedthrough housing and is configured to hold a printed circuit board such that it is accommodated within the housing of the connection device.

[0009] The documents DE 94 15 933 U1, DE 10 2004 033 745 A1, US 9 490 668 B2 and DE 20 2021 106 055 U1 also relate to devices with separate partial housings that accommodate a circuit board for connecting cables thereto. Summary

[0010] The object of the invention is to provide improved technologies for universally applicable cable bushings and arrangements with cable bushings, which in particular offer an extended range of functions.

[0011] To achieve the object, a cable bushing according to independent claim 1 and an arrangement according to claim 13 are provided. Embodiments are the subject of dependent claims in the appended set of claims.

[0012] According to one aspect, a cable feedthrough is provided for passing cables between an inside and an outside of a circuit housing, in particular a control cabinet. The cable feedthrough comprises a feedthrough housing and a holding device. The feedthrough housing is formed with a housing wall, an inner opening in the housing wall, and a plurality of sealing openings. The housing wall separates a housing interior of the feedthrough housing from a housing exterior. The feedthrough housing is configured to be arranged on an opening of a circuit housing, surrounding the opening of the circuit housing, such that the inner opening forms a free passage from the housing interior to a circuit housing interior of the circuit housing. The plurality of sealing openings form a respective passage from the housing interior of the feedthrough housing to the housing exterior. A sealing element is arranged in each of the sealing openings, which is configured to sealingly receive a cable, so that the cable is guided in a sealed manner from the housing exterior into the housing interior. The holding device is arranged in the feedthrough housing and configured to hold a printed circuit board such that the printed circuit board is accommodated within the feedthrough housing, and a cable guided through one of the sealing openings can be guided selectively onto the printed circuit board or past it through the interior opening.

[0013] The inventive accommodation of the circuit board within the feedthrough housing means that the circuit board is at least partially arranged within the feedthrough housing. A portion of the circuit board can protrude from the feedthrough housing through the inner opening. Alternatively, the circuit board can be arranged entirely within the feedthrough housing.

[0014] For the purposes of the present disclosure, a free passage, in particular the free passage from the housing interior to the switch housing interior, is to be understood as a passage which is not provided or equipped with a seal, thus in particular allowing a transfer of media, in particular air.

[0015] The feedthrough housing can comprise a main housing element and a cover component, which is mounted on the main housing element to form the feedthrough housing. The main housing element can essentially define the housing interior, which is then sealed by mounting the cover component, with the exception of the inner opening and the sealing opening. The main housing element can form a housing frame and / or a housing base. A housing cover can be formed with the cover component, which, in appropriate designs, can close the housing frame or the housing base.

[0016] The cover component can be installed without tools. For example, the cover component can be installed by means of a snap connection, which can also be referred to as a locking connection, in that when the cover component is arranged on the main housing element, the snap connection fixes the cover component to the main housing element. Generally, snap connections are formed with snap elements that interact with one another in a snapping manner. To provide a snap connection, the main housing element can, for example, be formed with projections, in particular so-called snap hooks, and the cover component can be formed with counter-elements that engage around the projections in a snapping or locking manner. Alternatively, the cover component can be formed with projections and the main housing element can be formed with counter-elements that engage around the projections in a snapping or locking manner. As a further alternative, both the main housing element and the cover component can be formed with both projections and counter-elements, wherein the projections and counter-elements are then arranged on the main housing element and the cover component in an interlocking manner when the cover component is mounted on the main housing element. In the respective embodiments, snap-in projections can be arranged or formed on pre-engaging arms in order to achieve a suitable arrangement relative to the counter-elements. Counter-elements can, for example, be formed as recesses in another element, in particular as recesses in the main housing element, for example the housing wall, or in the cover component. Alternatively, counter-elements can be formed as annular elements, wherein the annular elements can be formed with a round or polygonal ring shape to match the projections. As a further alternative, counter-elements can be designed as protruding arms provided with counter-protrusions, which interact with the snap-in projections in a snapping or locking manner. In alternative embodiments, a so-called ring snap connection can be provided, in which a circumferential snap-in bead snaps into a circumferential recess.

[0017] An alternative tool-free assembly of the cover component can be achieved by forming the cover component with an external thread that is screwed into an internal thread formed on the main housing element, or vice versa. A screw cap can thus be formed with the cover component. To enable tool-free assembly, gripping-assisting elements can be formed on the cover component and / or the main housing element, for example in the form of ribbing and / or recessed grips. Alternatively, tool-free assembly by screwing without additional supporting elements can be possible, for example because an outer diameter of the cover component is large enough to provide a lever that enables manual screwing without further assistance.

[0018] As an alternative to tool-free assembly, it can be provided that the cover component can be mounted on the main housing element using tools. In particular, it can be provided that fastening elements are used to mount the cover component to the main housing element using tools. Screws or rivets, for example, can be used as fastening elements. When screws are used, the main housing element, or alternatively the cover component, can be formed with one or more internal threads for receiving the screws and / or with one or more receptacles for threaded nuts for receiving the screws.

[0019] In alternative embodiments, tool-free assembly can also be provided when using screws as fastening elements, provided that the tightening torques required for a given application can be applied to tool-free screws. Tool-free screws can be provided, for example, as knurled screws.

[0020] The cover component can be mounted on the main housing element to secure the sealing elements in the sealing openings. In particular, the sealing openings can be formed in the main housing element, and the sealing elements can be arranged in receptacles formed in the sealing openings. When the cover element is not mounted, at least one side of the sealing openings can be open, allowing the sealing elements to be inserted into or removed from the sealing openings. When mounted, the cover element can then close at least one side of the sealing openings in question, thus securing the sealing elements in the sealing openings.

[0021] It can be provided that the feedthrough housing has a circuit housing sealing device, the feedthrough housing is configured to be arranged on an opening of a circuit housing so as to substantially completely surround the opening of the circuit housing, and the circuit housing sealing device is configured to seal off the opening of the circuit housing. In this way, a complete seal of the circuit housing can be enabled while allowing cables to be fed through into the circuit housing. For example, the circuit housing sealing device can be formed from a soft material, in particular a soft plastic material, for example TPE. In this case, the circuit housing sealing device can be provided as a separate component which is arranged on the feedthrough housing, for example in the form of a sealing ring.Alternatively, the circuit housing sealing device can be formed integrally with the feedthrough housing, for example, molded onto it, for example during the manufacture of the feedthrough housing by means of two-component injection molding.

[0022] The holding device can be configured to accommodate a printed circuit board such that the printed circuit board is aligned substantially perpendicular to an opening cross-section of the inner opening. In this way, it can be made possible or simplified, in particular, to guide a cable past the printed circuit board into a circuit housing. Such an arrangement can also create a space that makes it possible to connect cables to the printed circuit board, in particular one or more cables that are guided from the outside through a respective sealing opening to the printed circuit board and / or one or more cables that are guided from the printed circuit board through the inner opening into a circuit housing. An alignment that is substantially perpendicular to an opening cross-section of the inner opening means, in particular, that the printed circuit board does not block or significantly reduce the passage through the inner opening due to a deviation from the vertical.

[0023] At least one of the plurality of sealing openings can be open toward the housing exterior in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the inner opening is open toward the housing exterior. Such a configuration can also be defined based on a mounting direction, which is a direction in which the cable feedthrough is applied to an opening of a circuit housing. This corresponds to the direction in which the opening of the circuit housing penetrates the circuit housing. In this case, at least one of the plurality of sealing openings then opens in a direction perpendicular to the mounting direction. In this way, a deflection of a fed-through cable can be provided.A plurality of sealing openings can be arranged at a distance from one another along a circumferential direction of a round feedthrough housing in such a way that they are each open to the housing exterior in a direction that is perpendicular to a direction in which the inner opening is open to the housing exterior. In such an embodiment, one or more additional sealing openings can optionally be provided, which are open in a direction that runs parallel to the direction in which the inner opening is open to the housing exterior. A plurality of sealing openings can be arranged next to one another at a distance from one another, in particular in such a way that the respective openings to the housing exterior lie on one plane.Several sets of sealing openings, each arranged adjacent to one another at a distance from one another, can be arranged offset and / or rotated relative to one another, in particular along a circumferential direction of a round feedthrough housing. In the aforementioned sense, a round feedthrough housing can be a housing that is essentially round but has flattened portions along its circumference, with sealing openings then preferably being formed in the region of the flattened portions.

[0024] Alternatively or additionally, at least one of the plurality of sealing openings is open to the housing exterior in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the inner opening is open to the housing exterior, at least one of the plurality of sealing openings can be open to the housing exterior in a direction that is at an angle other than a right angle to the direction in which the inner opening is open to the housing exterior. The at least one sealing opening is then oriented obliquely to the mounting direction.

[0025] The at least one of the plurality of sealing openings, which is open to the housing exterior in a direction that is at an angle, in particular perpendicular, to a direction in which the inner opening is open to the housing exterior, can be open to the housing interior in a direction that runs parallel to the direction in which the inner opening is open to the housing exterior. In this way, a deflection of a passed-through cable can be guided through the sealing opening. In particular, the sealing opening can be shaped such that it predetermines a curvature of the passed-through cable from the opening direction of the sealing opening to the housing exterior to the opening direction of the sealing opening to the housing interior.

[0026] At least one of the plurality of sealing openings can be open to the housing exterior in a direction parallel to a direction in which the inner opening is open to the housing exterior. In this way, a cable can be passed through without a change in direction. In embodiments, it can be provided that all sealing openings are open to the housing exterior in a direction parallel to a direction in which the inner opening is open to the housing exterior. Cable feedthroughs that are generally suitable for creating such embodiments are described, for example, in document WO 2020 / 151785 A1.

[0027] The feedthrough housing is preferably formed from a hard material component, for example from a plastic, for example from polyamide, in particular glass fiber reinforced polyamide. The sealing elements are preferably formed from a soft material component, for example from a soft plastic, for example from a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The sealing elements can be formed integrally with the feedthrough housing in the sealing openings, in particular molded thereon, for example by two-component injection molding. In a two-part feedthrough housing, the sealing elements can each be molded onto the main housing element, molded onto the cover component, or formed with several segments and molded partially onto the main housing element and partially onto the cover component. Alternatively, the sealing elements can be formed as separate elements arranged in receptacles formed in the sealing openings.

[0028] The holding device can be formed with a tongue and groove device designed for clamping a printed circuit board. In this case, the holding device can in particular comprise a pair of grooves formed in the feedthrough housing, into which tongues formed on a printed circuit board or sections of the printed circuit board itself acting as tongues are introduced, in particular pushed. In this way, the printed circuit board can be clamped in the grooves. The grooves can be dimensioned such that they exert a clamping and / or frictional force on the printed circuit board, preventing the printed circuit board from accidentally slipping. Alternatively or additionally, a securing element can be provided for securing the printed circuit board in the position arranged in the holding device. For example, the securing element can be formed with a spring-loaded snap hook that snaps or engages an edge of the circuit board when inserted into the holding device, thereby securing it in the mounted position. The holding device can be dimensioned to accommodate circuit boards with standard dimensions for a given application.

[0029] The cable feedthrough can have a further holding device which is arranged and configured in the feedthrough housing to hold a further printed circuit board in such a way that the further printed circuit board is accommodated within the feedthrough housing, and a cable guided through one of the sealing openings can be guided optionally onto the further printed circuit board or past it through the inner opening. In particular, the further holding device can be designed and arranged in such a way that a further printed circuit board arranged in the further holding device is arranged in the cable feedthrough parallel to and next to a printed circuit board arranged in the holding device. This can make it possible to guide a cable between the printed circuit board and the further printed circuit board or on a respective outer side of the printed circuit board or of the further printed circuit board.Alternatively, the further holding device can be designed and arranged such that a further printed circuit board arranged in the further holding device is arranged in the cable feedthrough parallel to a printed circuit board arranged in the holding device and longitudinally adjacent to the latter.

[0030] The holding device and / or the further holding device can be configured to hold an additional circuit board in such a way that the additional circuit board is accommodated within the feedthrough housing, and a cable guided through one of the sealing openings can be guided selectively onto the additional circuit board or past it through the inner opening. In this case, the holding device and / or the further holding device can be designed and arranged in such a way that an additional circuit board arranged therein is arranged in the cable feedthrough parallel to the circuit board and longitudinally adjacent to it. Alternatively, the holding device and / or the further holding device can be designed and arranged in such a way that an additional circuit board arranged therein is arranged parallel to the circuit board and next to it.

[0031] The holding device and / or the further holding device can be formed separately and fixed in the feedthrough housing or alternatively can be formed integrally with the feedthrough housing, for example in the form of grooves formed in the feedthrough housing itself.

[0032] According to the disclosure, a kit is provided comprising components for producing a cable feedthrough according to the disclosure.

[0033] In one embodiment, the kit comprises a feedthrough housing with a housing wall which separates a housing interior of the feedthrough housing from a housing exterior, an inner opening in the housing wall, wherein the feedthrough housing is configured to be arranged on an opening of a circuit housing surrounding the opening of the circuit housing, such that the inner opening forms a free passage from the housing interior to a circuit housing interior of the circuit housing, and a plurality of sealing openings which form a respective passage from the housing interior of the feedthrough housing to the housing exterior, wherein a sealing element is arranged in each of the sealing openings, which is configured to receive a cable in a sealing manner, such that the cable is guided in a sealed manner from the housing exterior into the housing interior;and a holding device which is designed to be arranged in the feedthrough housing in such a way that a printed circuit board is to be held in the holding device in such a way that the printed circuit board is accommodated within the feedthrough housing, and a cable guided through one of the sealing openings can be guided selectively onto the printed circuit board or past it through the inner opening.;

[0034] In an alternative embodiment, the kit comprises a main housing element and a cover component that can be mounted on the main housing element to form a feedthrough housing according to the disclosure. Optionally, such a kit comprises a holding device that is configured for placement in the feedthrough housing such that a printed circuit board can be held in the holding device such that the printed circuit board is accommodated within the feedthrough housing, and a cable routed through one of the sealing openings can be routed selectively onto the printed circuit board or past it through the inner opening.

[0035] A kit for producing a cable feedthrough according to the disclosure may additionally comprise at least one printed circuit board for arrangement in the holding device.

[0036] With regard to the kit, the details explained above in connection with the cable entry can be provided accordingly.

[0037] According to a further aspect, an arrangement is provided, comprising a circuit housing, in particular a switch cabinet, having a circuit housing wall which separates a circuit housing interior from an exterior of the circuit housing, and a circuit housing opening which is formed in the circuit housing wall and forms a passage from the circuit housing interior to the exterior of the circuit housing, a cable feedthrough according to the disclosure which is arranged on the circuit housing closing the circuit housing opening such that the interior opening forms a free passage from the housing interior to the circuit housing interior, a printed circuit board which is received on the holding device, at least one cable which is guided through one of the sealing openings and is sealingly received by the sealing element arranged in one of the sealing openings, wherein one end of the at least one cable is connected to the circuit board, and at least one additional cable which is connected to the circuit board and led from the circuit board into the circuit housing interior.

[0038] The circuit housing can be a switch cabinet. The circuit housing can be a switchgear assembly known as such, for example, a low-voltage switchgear assembly according to DIN EN 61439, and / or a distribution board enclosure.

[0039] The arrangement can have at least one additional cable, which is routed through another of the sealing openings, is sealingly received by the sealing element arranged in the additional sealing opening, and is routed from the additional sealing opening past the circuit board through the inner opening and the circuit housing opening into the circuit housing interior. In this way, a multifunctional arrangement can be created, in particular, with a pure cable feedthrough and a cable feedthrough with simultaneous connection to a circuit board with the desired functionality for a given application.

[0040] With regard to the kit, the details explained above in connection with the cable entry can be provided accordingly.

[0041] The disclosed technologies make it possible to route a pre-assembled cable into a circuit housing as a cable feedthrough, but to connect it to a circuit board held in the cable feedthrough before the pre-assembled cable reaches the actual circuit housing. Cable feedthroughs according to the disclosure can be used like commercially available cable feedthroughs, i.e., simply to route a cable through a wall of a circuit housing. However, cable feedthroughs according to the disclosure also allow for the installation of an electronic functional assembly (printed circuit board, electronic circuit board) and the routing of cables from the outside to such a functional assembly. Mixed use, i.e., simply routing one or more cables through and routing one or more cables to an installed functional assembly, is also possible. It may be intended to market cable bushings according to the disclosure with a printed circuit board mounted therein, which is configured for specific functions, to users who then install them in circuit housings. Alternatively, cable bushings according to the disclosure may be marketed without a printed circuit board, in which case a user can arrange a printed circuit board with the desired function therein. In certain embodiments, this can also be done retrospectively, for example, if the cable bushing that is apparently inappropriate was previously used like a previously known simple cable bushing. Description of implementation examples

[0042] Further embodiments are explained in more detail below with reference to the figures of a drawing. Herein: Fig. 1 a schematic representation of a cable gland; Fig. 2 a schematic representation of a cable gland in assembled state; Fig. 3A and Fig. 3B Detailed views of a cable entry in assembled state; Fig. 4A and Fig. 4B schematic representations of the assembly of a cable gland; Fig. 5A and Fig. 5B schematic representations of an alternative use of a cable duct; Fig. 6 a schematic representation of a cable gland that can be mounted by means of screws; Fig. 7 a schematic representation of a cable bushing with several holding devices; and Fig. 8A and Fig. 8B schematic representation of an alternative design of a cable entry.

[0043] The Fig. Figure 1 shows a cable feedthrough for passing cables through a wall of a circuit housing. The cable feedthrough is formed by a feedthrough housing 1, which consists of a box-like main housing element 1 and a cover element 3 designed as a lid. The feedthrough housing 1 defines a housing interior through a housing wall 4, which is separated from the housing exterior—the environment—by the housing wall 4. In the embodiment shown, the feedthrough housing is made of a hard plastic, for example, glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide.

[0044] For the passage of cables, the cable entry has several sealing openings 5 formed in the housing wall 4. A sealing element 6 is arranged in each sealing opening 5, which can seal the cable. For this purpose, the sealing elements 6 are formed from a soft plastic material such as TPE. Alternatively, other soft materials can also be used, for example, those based on natural rubber.

[0045] Furthermore, the feedthrough housing has an inner opening 7. The inner opening serves, when the cable feedthrough is mounted on a circuit housing, as a passage between the housing interior of the feedthrough housing 1 and the interior of the circuit housing. When mounted on a circuit housing (as shown in particular in the Fig. 3A and Fig. 3B) the feedthrough housing 1 is placed with a bottom side 8 on a wall of the circuit housing. The wall of the circuit housing is in the Fig. 1 is indicated by a dashed line. In the Fig. In the embodiment shown in Figure 1, the feedthrough housing 1 has a cylindrical recess 9, which is guided through an opening in the wall of the circuit housing until the feedthrough housing 1 rests with its underside 8 on the wall of the circuit housing. Thus, the inner opening then forms a passage between the housing interior of the feedthrough housing 1 and the interior of the circuit housing through the opening in the wall of the switch housing. Preferably, a seal is formed on the underside 8 of the feedthrough housing and / or on the circumference of the cylindrical recess 9, which seals the opening in the wall of the circuit housing in the assembled state.

[0046] The Fig. Figure 2 shows a cable entry in a fully assembled state. In the exemplary assembly shown, three cables 10a, 10b, 10c are guided through sealing openings 5, which in the illustration of the Fig. 2 are arranged on a rear side of the feedthrough housing 1 and are therefore not visible. The cables 10a, 10b, 10c are guided through the feedthrough housing 1 out of the inner opening 7 and thus, in an assembled state of the cable feedthrough, into a circuit housing. Here, the cables 10a, 10b, 10c are connected to a printed circuit board 11, which is accommodated in the feedthrough housing 1 and, in the embodiment according to Fig. 2 protrudes from this, passed through the inner opening 7.

[0047] The Fig. Figure 3A shows a cable entry without cover component 3 in a prefabricated and mounted state on a wall 12 of a circuit housing. As can be seen particularly in the Fig. As can be seen in Figure 3B, the cable feedthrough is secured to the wall of the circuit housing by a lock nut 13 being screwed onto a thread formed on the cylindrical formation 9, so that the lock nut 13 clamps the feedthrough housing to the wall 12.

[0048] To hold the circuit board 11, the cable bushing has a holding device 14. This is in the design according to the Fig. 3A and Fig. 3B as a pair of grooves 14a, 14b formed integrally in the main housing element 2. In the exemplary embodiment shown, a pair of separate rails 15 are provided for secure mounting along the circuit board 11, which are inserted into the grooves 14a, 14b of the holding device 14 and into which the circuit board 11 is in turn pushed. Thus, respective tongue and groove connections are formed between the holding device 14 and the rails 15, as well as between the rails 15 and the circuit board 11. The dimensions are selected to be sufficiently tight that the circuit board 11 is clamped to the rails 15 and the rails 15 in the holding device 14 are clamped sufficiently tightly to hold the circuit board adequately securely in the feedthrough housing 1. The rails 15 can be formed as part of the holding device 14 and can be arranged detachably or permanently in the pair of grooves 14a, 14b.In alternative embodiments, the pair of grooves itself can be designed to be long enough to enable secure mounting of the circuit board without the need to provide rails 15.

[0049] As in the Fig. 3A, a fourth cable 10d is guided through a sealing opening 5 into the housing interior and onto the printed circuit board 11, with the individual strands of the cable 10d being connected to the printed circuit board 11. From the printed circuit board 11, a fourth cable 10e is then guided into the interior of the circuit housing, on the wall 12 of which the cable feedthrough is arranged. Fig. 3A and Fig. 3B it can also be seen that the cables 10a, 10b, 10c are not led onto the circuit board 1, but past it through the inner opening 7.

[0050] The Fig. 4A illustrates the assembly of a feedthrough housing 1. The Fig. 4B is a corresponding sectional view of a cable feedthrough arranged on a wall 12 of a circuit housing. The assembly or mounting of the feedthrough housing takes place without tools by placing the cover component 3 onto the main housing element. In an end position of the cover component 3, snap projections or snap hooks 16 of the cover component 3, which are formed on pre-engaging arms, engage in snap holes 17 in the main housing element 2. The snap holes 17 form a counter-element which engages the snap hooks in a snapping or locking manner. This fixes the cover component 3 in the mounted position to the main housing element 2. In the embodiment shown, this fixation can be released by pushing the snap hooks 16 from the outside through the snap holes 17 and out of them (whereby the pre-engaging arms then yield resiliently), thereby dissolving the snap connection.

[0051] For additional securing of the assembly connection in accordance with the optional design according to Fig. 4A and Fig. 4B, securing recesses 18 are formed in the cover component 3, into which securing projections 19 of the housing main element 2 engage in the assembled state.

[0052] The Fig. 5A and Fig. 5B show different views of an alternative use of a cable feedthrough. While the cable feedthrough has a holding device 14 for printed circuit boards and is thus configured for the uses explained above, in the application shown, no printed circuit board is arranged in the holding device 14. Rather, the cable feedthrough is used like cable feedthroughs according to the prior art to guide cables 10a, 10b, 10c, 10f, 10g, 10g in a sealing manner through a wall 12 of a circuit housing, namely through sealing openings 5 of a feedthrough housing 1, through a housing interior of the feedthrough housing 1, and through an internal opening 7 into a circuit housing interior of the circuit housing.

[0053] The Fig. 6 shows a design of a cable bushing in which, compared to the one in the Fig. 4A and Fig. 4B, a screw connection is provided for mounting the cover component 3 to the main housing element 2. Screws 20 are guided through screw holes 21 in the cover component 3 and screwed into internally threaded holes (not shown) in the main housing element 2, thereby fixing the cover component 3 to the main housing element 2.

[0054] In the Fig. 7 shows an embodiment of a cable bushing with several, in the illustrated embodiment two, holding devices 14, each holding a printed circuit board 11. According to the illustration of Fig. 7, cables are routed through a respective sealing opening 5 into the housing interior and onto one of the circuit boards 11, respectively, and then a respective cable 10e is routed from the circuit boards 11 into the interior of the circuit housing, on whose wall 12 the cable feedthrough shown is arranged. In the embodiment shown, the holding devices 14 are designed such that the respective extension directions of the circuit boards 11 are aligned parallel, but the circuit boards 11 are arranged rotated relative to one another. In alternative embodiments, several holding devices can be designed such that the circuit boards 11 held by them are aligned parallel to one another.

[0055] The Fig. Figure 8A shows an alternative design of a cable entry from above. Fig. 8B shows this cable entry from below. Fig. 8A and Fig.8B, the sealing openings 5 open in a direction parallel to the direction in which the inner opening 7 opens. Here, the cover component 3 is designed as a screw cap that is screwed onto the main housing element 2, thereby securing the sealing elements 6. This enables tool-free assembly of the cover component 2. The screw cap has recessed grips or flattened portions to assist manual screwing.
