Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a carrying package for holding and transporting objects, in particular bottles, cans, cups, or similar objects. The invention further relates to a blank for manufacturing such a carrying package.
[0002] Such carrying cases and blanks are known, for example, from US 2,996,216 A, US 2,731,170 A, DE 696 21,991 T2, DE 697 38,422 T, DE 698 33,997 T2, or WO 93 / 22217 A1. However, a disadvantage of these known blanks and carrying cases is that, although they can be manufactured cost-effectively from cardboard, this also entails certain limitations in stability.

[0005] A first aspect of the invention relates to a carrying package for receiving and transporting objects, in particular bottles, cans, cups or similar objects, comprising at least one bottom wall element with at least one receiving opening for receiving a part of the object, one first and one second lid wall element arranged on opposite sides of the bottom wall element via at least one bending line for contact with a surface of the bottom wall element, and one first and one second reinforcing flap arranged on the opposite side of the lid wall element, either directly via at least one bending line or indirectly via at least one intermediate element, for contact with a surface of the respective lid wall element.The first and second lid wall elements and the first and second reinforcing flaps each have at least one additional receiving opening for receiving a portion of the object. These additional receiving openings are arranged such that, when the bottom wall element, the lid wall elements, and the reinforcing flaps are in contact, they are completely or at least partially aligned with the receiving opening of the bottom wall element. This design results in a carrying package of at least three layers, which exhibits significantly improved stability compared to known carrying devices. This is achieved even without gluing or bonding the individual layers together.
