Description

[0001] The invention relates to an arrangement with a first component and a second component, wherein the first component is guided on an inner profile on an outer profile of the second component in a rotationally fixed and axially displaceable manner, wherein the outer profile in interaction with the inner profile establishes the rotationally fixed and axially displaceable guidance of the components, and wherein an elastically deformable ring is placed radially between the components, which ring is received in a circumferential groove on one component and bears on the one hand on the groove of one component and on the other hand on a contact surface of the other component. Furthermore, the invention relates to a transmission with at least one of the aforementioned arrangements.

[0002] For the rotationally fixed connection of components, arrangements in the form of shaft-hub connections are known. In these connections, a positive connection is usually established between one component, acting as the hub, and the other, acting as the shaft. For this positive connection, the two components are often provided with profiles designed as counterparts to each other, for example in the form of driving gears. However, due to the existing play between the profiles, unwanted radial movement of the components relative to each other can occur, and thus also lead to vibrations and noise. For this reason, a component is sometimes provided between the components that are guided against one another to limit the radial movement.

[0003] JP 2008064192 A discloses an arrangement in the region of a torque converter, in which two components are guided together in a rotationally fixed manner. For this purpose, one component is equipped with an inner profile in the form of a driving toothing, on which a tooth engagement is established with a driving toothing that is designed as an outer profile on the other component. Provided radially between the two components, on the one hand, is a retaining ring which is placed in a circumferential, rectangular groove on the inner profile of one component and in a circumferential, V-shaped groove on the outer profile of the other component. On the other hand, an elastically deformable ring is accommodated radially between the two components and is accommodated in a further groove lying axially next to the inner profile of one component. This ring rests radially on the one hand against a groove base of the other groove and on the other hand radially against a contact surface on the other component and is thus squeezed between the components, which is intended to dampen movements between the components.

[0004] Based on the prior art described above, it is the object of the present invention to provide an arrangement in which two components are connected to one another in a rotationally fixed manner, wherein a permanent damping of radial movements of the components relative to one another is to be realized in a reliable manner and with low manufacturing costs.

[0005] This object is achieved based on the preamble of claim 1 in conjunction with its characterizing features. The dependent claims that follow therefrom each represent advantageous developments of the invention. A transmission comprising at least one arrangement according to the invention is further the subject of claim 11.

[0006] According to the invention, in an arrangement comprising a first component and a second component, the first component is guided on an inner profile on an outer profile of the second component in a rotationally fixed and axially displaceable manner. The outer profile, in conjunction with the inner profile, provides rotationally fixed and axially displaceable guidance of the components. Furthermore, an elastically deformable ring is positioned radially between the components. This ring is received in a circumferential groove on one component and rests against the groove on one side of one component and against a contact surface on the other component.

[0007] In the arrangement according to the invention, a first component and a second component are provided, wherein these two components are connected to one another in a rotationally fixed manner in that the first component is placed with an inner profile onto an outer profile of the second component and the rotationally fixed connection between the components is realized via the inner profile and the outer profile. The interaction of the two profiles enables the two components to be axially displaceable relative to one another during the rotationally fixed connection. The rotationally fixed and axially displaceable guidance of the first component on the second component is preferably realized in a form-fitting manner via the two profiles. Very particularly preferably, one profile is designed as a counterpart to the other profile.

[0008] At least in the area of the connection via the profiles, the first component is designed in particular as a hub or hub-like, while the second component in this area is preferably designed as a shaft or a shaft piece. The inner profile is formed on the first component, in particular, on a wall or a wall section of a bore, which is preferably designed as a through-bore and with which the first component is pushed onto a shaft section by the second component, in particular, on which the second component is equipped with the outer profile.

[0009] The arrangement according to the invention also provides an elastically deformable ring. This ring is positioned radially between the first component and the second component, with the ring resting on a groove formed circumferentially on one component on the one hand and on a contact surface provided on the other component on the other. On the groove side, the ring preferably rests on a groove base. Due to the radially intermediate arrangement between the two components and the contact on the part of both one component and the other component, the ring's elastic deformation dampens radial movements which the two components perform due to any play existing between the profiles. For this purpose, the ring is made of a material with high elasticity, preferably a plastic material, particularly compared to the two components. The intermediate ring can, in principle, have an oval, rectangular, or circular cross-section when undeformed, or can be designed with a different geometry, although the ring, in its undeformed state, is particularly circular in cross-section.

[0010] The invention now comprises the technical teaching that at least one of the components is preloaded in a respective axial direction, and the contact surface of the other component is configured on a conical section. The conical section of the other component expands in a direction of movement in which the respective axial preload causes a relative axial movement of the other component to the one component.

[0011] In other words, at least one of the two components is preloaded in one axial direction, with this at least one axial preload defining a relative axial movement direction of the other component to the one component. A conical section is also formed on the other component, which forms the contact surface for the elastically deformable ring and is oriented such that the diameter of the conical section increases in the relative axial movement direction of the other component.

[0012] Such a design of an arrangement has the advantage that the axial preload of at least one of the two components, in combination with the design of the contact surface on the conical section, means that the elastically deformable ring always comes into reliable contact with both components and can therefore dampen radial movements of the components. This is because the respective axial preload of at least one of the two components causes the conical section with the contact surface to run onto the ring located in the groove due to the axial relative movement of the components to one another. Thus, even minor axial, tolerance-related positional deviations in the arrangement according to the invention do not result in the intermediate ring no longer being in contact with the two components and thus no longer being able to dampen their radial movements relative to one another.Since the conical section can be manufactured in a simple manner on the part of the other component, the arrangement according to the invention is also characterized by low manufacturing costs.

[0013] Through the respective axial preload of at least one of the two components, the two components are preferably moved relative to each other into an axial end position, in which the elastically deformable ring is squeezed radially between the components due to elastic deformation due to the conical section. Radial movements that the components may perform relative to each other due to the existing play between the inner and outer profiles are then dampened by further elastic deformation of the intermediate ring.

[0014] According to one embodiment of the invention, the conical section is designed with a helix angle in the range of 1° to 7°. This helix angle is preferably in the range of 2° to 6°, with the helix angle most preferably being 4°. This has proven advantageous.

[0015] According to an alternative or supplementary embodiment of the invention, the ring is an elastomer ring. This allows for suitable elastic deformability of the ring. In principle, the ring can be designed undeformed with a rectangular, oval, or circular cross-section, or it can have a different cross-section geometry. The cross-section of the ring is undeformed but most preferably circular, with the ring being designed as an O-ring. This allows for the use of a standardized component, further reducing manufacturing costs.

[0016] In a further development of the invention, the groove is formed axially adjacent to the outer or inner profile on one component. If the component having the groove is the second component, the groove is formed axially adjacent to the outer profile on the second component, whereas if the groove is formed on the first component, it is formed axially adjacent to the inner profile of the first component.

[0017] Alternatively, but preferably in addition to the aforementioned refinement, the conical section is formed axially adjacent to the inner or outer profile on the other component. If the conical section is provided on the first component, the conical section is formed axially adjacent to the inner profile of the first component. If, however, the component having the conical section is the second component, the conical section is formed axially adjacent to the outer profile of the second component on the second component.

[0018] Particularly preferably, the groove is formed on the second component and thus provided on its outer circumference, while the conical section is formed on the first component side and thus formed on an inner circumference of the first component. Within the scope of the invention, however, the structure could also be implemented in a mirrored manner, with the groove being provided on the first component and thus on its inner circumference, whereas the conical section is formed on the second component side and thus provided on its outer circumference.

[0019] In a further embodiment of the invention, the first component is a gear, with the gear being particularly preferably a parking lock gear of a parking lock system of a transmission. Alternatively, but preferably in addition, the second component is a shaft, which in this case is particularly present as a transmission shaft.

[0020] According to a further possible embodiment of the invention, the first component is axially preloaded via an axially adjacent component. In this case, an axial preload of the first component is realized, wherein this axial preload is implemented via a further component that is axially adjacent to the first component. In particular, this further component is a bearing inner ring of a bearing, via which the first component and the second component are jointly rotatably mounted and which is itself axially preloaded, wherein this axial preload is then transferred to the first component via the bearing inner ring.

[0021] According to a further embodiment of the invention, the outer profile and the inner profile are designed as drive gears, which allows the rotationally fixed and axially displaceable guidance of the first component on the second component to be designed in a particularly advantageous manner. Alternatively, the two profiles can also be designed as splined shaft profiles.

[0022] The invention also relates to a transmission in which at least one arrangement according to one or more of the variants described above is provided. The transmission is preferably a motor vehicle transmission, with an arrangement according to the invention then being used in particular when arranging a parking lock gear on a transmission shaft. In this area, the use of the arrangement according to the invention has proven advantageous for damping a radial movement of the parking lock gear relative to the transmission shaft, thereby reducing vibrations and thus also noise in the area of the parking lock gear across a wide range of speeds.

[0023] An advantageous embodiment of the invention, which is explained below, is illustrated in the drawings. It shows: Fig. 1 a sectional view of a portion of a transmission in the region of an arrangement according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, and Fig. 2 a detailed view of the arrangement Fig. 1.

[0024] Out of Fig. 1 shows a sectional view of a portion of a transmission 1, which is a motor vehicle transmission and which is equipped with an arrangement 2 according to the invention. In this arrangement 2, a component 3 in the form of a parking lock gear 4 is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner on a component 5, which is a shaft 6 of the transmission 1. For the rotationally fixed connection, the parking lock gear 4 is provided with an inner profile 8 on a central through-bore 7 and is placed with this inner profile 8 on an outer profile 9, with which the shaft 6 is equipped on its outer circumference in a shaft section 10.

[0025] The inner profile 8 and the outer profile 9 are each designed as driving teeth, with the outer profile 9 serving as a counterpart to the inner profile 8. The interaction of the inner profile 8 with the outer profile 9 establishes a rotationally fixed connection between the parking lock gear 4 and the shaft 6, while still allowing axial displacement of the parking lock gear 4 relative to the shaft 6.

[0026] The shaft 6 is rotatably mounted in a housing 11 of the transmission 1 via a bearing 12. This bearing 12 is designed as a deep groove ball bearing and is axially preloaded relative to the housing 11 in the direction of the parking lock gear 4. An inner ring 13 of the bearing 12 also ensures axial preload of the parking lock gear 4 into its axial end position on the shaft 6, in that the inner ring 13 acts axially on the axially adjacent parking lock gear 4.

[0027] A tooth clearance between the inner profile 8 and the outer profile 9 can lead to vibrations and thus corresponding noises in certain speed ranges of the shaft 6 and the parking lock gear 4 due to the possible radial movements of the parking lock gear 4 relative to the shaft 6. To dampen these radial movements, a ring 14 made of an elastomer and thus highly elastic is provided between the shaft 6 and the parking lock gear 4. Specifically, this ring 14 is designed as an O-ring and accordingly has a circular cross-section in its undeformed state.

[0028] As in Fig. 1 and especially in a detailed view in Fig. 2, the ring 14 is received on the side of the shaft 6 in a groove 15 which is circumferentially introduced into an outer circumference of the shaft 6 axially adjacent to the shaft section 10 and thus to the outer profile 9. The ring 14 dampens the radial movements of the parking lock gear relative to the shaft 6 by being squeezed in the axial end position of the parking lock gear 4 between the parking lock gear 4 and the shaft 6 under elastic deformation and the damping of the radial movements in each case by a further elastic deformation.

[0029] The ring 14 rests on the one hand on the side of the shaft 6 against a groove base 16 of the groove 15 and on the other hand on the side of the parking lock gear 4 against a contact surface 17 which is formed on a section 18 of the inner circumference of the through-bore 7. The section 18 is formed axially adjacent to the inner profile 8 on the inner circumference of the through-bore 7, wherein in particular in Fig. 2 that section 18 is also conical. Section 18 is axially oriented in such a way that an inner diameter of section 18 widens in the axial direction in which parking lock gear 4 is axially preloaded into its end position. This has the result that ring 14 increasingly comes into axial overlap with a smaller inner diameter of section 18 during the axial preload of parking lock gear 4 and the resulting relative axial movement of parking lock gear 4 relative to shaft 6 when moving parking lock gear 4 into the end position. As a result, ring 14 is forced to run onto section 18 and thereby reliably comes into contact with the contact surface 17 formed on section 18.

[0030] As in Fig.2, the section 18 is designed with a helix angle 19 to achieve its conical shape, which lies in a range of 2° to 6° and is particularly preferably 4°.

[0031] By means of the arrangement according to the invention, a rotationally fixed connection between two components can be realized, whereby radial movements of the components are dampened in a reliable manner and with low manufacturing costs.
