Abstract

A device (200) for the automated cleaning of a predefined window area (110) of a vehicle (100), the device (200) comprising the following elements: - a series of several rod-shaped wiper elements (215, 220, 225), wherein the opposing ends of adjacent wiper elements (215, 220, 225) are connected to each other in pairs by joints (230, 235), the joints (230, 235) being configured such that one of the two adjacent wiper elements (215, 220, 225) is movable relative to the other wiper element (215, 220, 225) in a first pivoting direction parallel to the window area (110) and is rigid in a second pivoting direction opposite to it, - a drive (235) configured to move the wiper elements (215, 220, 225) to guide along a predetermined path of movement across the window surface (110).Furthermore, the invention relates to a vehicle (100) with such a device (200) and to a method for cleaning a window surface (110) of a vehicle (100).
