ROLL PISTON COMPRESSOR WITH BUCKET AND SEALS

Abstract

An electric compressor includes a housing and a compression device. The rotary-type compression device is configured to compress the refrigerant. The compression device is located within a cylinder housing and includes a cylinder and a rotary piston. The cylinder is eccentrically coupled to a drive shaft. The rotary piston has an outer surface that contacts an inner surface of a compression chamber. The rotary piston rotates around the cylinder while the drive shaft and the compression device are rotated by a motor. A vane, movably coupled to the housing and with its end adjacent to the compression chamber, is pre-tensioned so that the end of the vane is in contact with the rotary piston while the piston assembly is rotated by the drive shaft. First and second seals are connected to the first and second seals, respectively.coupled to the second side edge of the shovel.
