Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an electric toothbrush comprising a brush handle assembly including a measuring module and a brush head assembly provided with a measuring element for identification, wherein the brush handle assembly is in contact with the brush head assembly, the measuring module is electrically connected to the measuring element, and different measuring elements lead to different signals which are measured by the measuring module, wherein a brush head type is identified based on the difference of signals. Thus, the electric toothbrush enables a function for identifying the brush head type based on reduced manufacturing and design costs.
