Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The invention relates to an umbrella holder, in particular a movable umbrella holder. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] Outdoor parasols are used in recreational areas such as squares, beaches, parks, and gardens to create pleasant spaces for people to cool off. Since large umbrellas have a large surface area when unfolded and are subject to wind and other adverse effects, it is common practice to attach a support tube to the umbrella base to ensure the stability and balance of the umbrella. To prevent parasols from tipping over during inflation, the current umbrella must be equipped with an umbrella base with sufficient weight.

[0003] If the umbrella stand is heavy and the contact area between the umbrella stand and the ground is large, it can be very inconvenient to move the umbrella stand. To solve the technical problem described above, an umbrella stand with wheels is available on the market to facilitate the movement of the umbrella stand. When the wheels are not needed, the wheels are hidden at the bottom of the umbrella stand. When the umbrella touches the ground and the wheels are needed, the wheels are turned in by hand, and the wheels come into contact with the ground, allowing it to roll freely. However, manual operation is required to hide and extend the wheels, which requires considerable effort.

[0004] To solve the above-described technical problem, the movable umbrella as disclosed in the Chinese Utility Model Patent "Movable Umbrella Support" with the patent number CN200920197251.8 (Notification number CN201513685U) is composed of an umbrella support housing, a base, and a plurality of casters, each of which is connected to the base and includes a connecting rod mechanism, a foot pedal, and an inner eccentric ratchet device. One of the plurality of casters is a first caster connected to the inner eccentric ratchet device via a drive pulley. The remaining casters of the plurality of casters are second casters, each second caster being connected to the first caster by the connecting rod. The foot pedal is pivotally connected to the base and engages with the inner eccentric ratchet device. When it is necessary to raise the umbrella support to operate the casters, the foot pedal is depressed by the feet. This causes the foot pedal to rotate the inner eccentric ratchets through a certain angle, which gradually moves away from the umbrella support frame at the joint with the drive pulley, thereby exerting a downward force on the first caster and an upward force on the caster support to release the corresponding umbrella support upward and away from the ground. When it is necessary to retract the casters, the foot pedal is pressed further down so that the caster support of the first caster is rotated inward around the joint with the umbrella support frame, i.e., an upward force is applied to the first caster. The umbrella is slowly lowered by gravity from the umbrella holder to the ground until the umbrella holder fully contacts the ground. Although the up-and-down movement of the roller is achieved by depressing the foot pedal in this patent, relatively little force is exerted on the user. However, the connecting structures of the foot pedal, the drive pulley, the internal eccentric ratchet mechanism, and the base are complicated, requiring considerable force to press the foot pedal to cause the rollers to move up and down, which is even more laborious.

[0005] There is therefore a need for further improvements to existing movable umbrella holders.

[0006] WO 2014 161 097 A1 discloses a device for lifting and moving objects. It comprises a box-like insert for installation in the underside of the object to be lifted. This insert has at least three wheels integrated into the box-like insert. The wheels can be temporarily extended downwards or swung out of the insert.

[0007] DE 202 16 126 U1 discloses a piece of furniture, in particular a piece of furniture or a partition wall, which is equipped with a lifting device on its area facing the floor and which has rollers which, when the lifting device is used, transfer the load of the piece of furniture to the floor.

[0008] DE 31 23 756 A1 discloses a retractable chassis for household furniture, in which the chassis is extended by a device under the base of a piece of furniture, thus making this piece of furniture mobile.

[0009] CN 2 01 513 683 U discloses a movable umbrella pole comprising: an umbrella stand housing, a base, a plurality of castors, a limiting device, a pedal device and two groups of connecting mechanisms. CONTENT OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0016] The present invention is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0017] As in the Fig. 1 to 8, the movable umbrella holder of the embodiment of the invention comprises a housing 1, a wheel carrier 2, casters 3, an elastic element 6 and bladders 4, wherein a plug-in hole 12 for plugging the umbrella pole is provided on the upper part of the housing 1, wherein a mounting groove 13 for mounting the bladders 4 is formed on the bottom of the housing 1.

[0018] As in the Fig. 2 and Fig. 7, the wheel carrier 2 is a quadrangular frame construction, wherein the wheel carrier 2 comprises a first carrier plate 21 and a second carrier plate 22, which are arranged spaced apart and next to each other, as well as a third carrier plate 24 and a fourth carrier plate 25, which connect the first carrier plate 21 and the second carrier plate 22 and are arranged next to each other and spaced apart, wherein at least three rollers 3 are provided, which are arranged spaced apart on the wheel carrier 2 and are arranged at least partially on the bottom of the wheel carrier 2. In this embodiment, as shown in the Fig. 1 and Fig. As shown in Figure 2, four rollers 3 are provided, spaced apart at the bottom of the four corners of the wheel carrier 2, i.e., the four rollers 3 are each located on the bottom at the junction of the two adjacent support plates. In this embodiment, the rollers 3 are universal wheels.

[0019] The wheel carrier 2 is attached to the bottom of the housing 1 and to the housing 1 by connecting elements. Four connecting elements 5 are provided and arranged circumferentially spaced around the wheel carrier 2. In particular, two connecting elements 5 mount the third support plate 24 of the wheel carrier 2 at a corresponding location in the housing 1. Two further connecting elements 5 mount the fourth support plate 25 of the wheel carrier 2 at the corresponding location in the housing 1. Mounting holes for the connecting elements 5 to pass through are provided on the third support plate 24, the fourth support plate 25, and the inner wall plate 14 of the housing 1.The connecting elements 5 are formed in the shape of an inverted T and include extension pins 52, wherein extension pins 52 of the connecting elements 5 pass through the mounting holes of the wheel carrier 2 and the housing 1 from bottom to top one after the other and attach the wheel carrier 2 to an inner wall panel 14 of the housing 1. A lower end of the extension pin 52 has an end 51 with an enlarged area. In this embodiment, the connecting elements 5 are designed as set screws. Accordingly, the mounting holes provided on the housing 1 are the threaded holes that cooperate with the set screws, i.e., the set screws penetrate the mounting holes on the wheel carrier 2 from bottom to top and screw into the threaded holes of the housing 1, thereby enabling the wheel carrier 2 and the housing 1 to be fastened. In addition, the elastic element 6 always tends to synchronously move the wheel carrier 2 and the roller 3 upward relative to the housing 1. The elastic element in this embodiment is a spring mounted on the extension pin 52 and arranged between the end 51 and the wheel carrier 2, i.e., both ends of the spring rest against corresponding positions of the end 51 and the wheel carrier 2.

[0020] In this embodiment, as in Fig. 2 and Fig. 7, the bladders 4 are arranged in a space enclosed by the wheel carrier 2 and the mounting groove 13 of the housing 1, wherein the bladders 4 are provided with vent pipes 41 for gas circulation, which are at least partially exposed outside the wheel carrier 2. At least two bladders 4 are present. In this embodiment, as shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 2, two bladders 4 are provided and are strip-shaped, wherein the two bladders 4 are arranged side by side and spaced apart and are respectively arranged on the first support plate 21 and the second support plate 22 of the wheel carrier. In particular, the two ends of the two bladders 4 have connecting sections 43, wherein the bladders 4 are attached to the corresponding support plate of the wheel carrier 2 by the connecting sections at both ends. As shown in Fig. 2, the vent pipes of the two bladders 4 extend downwards, wherein a first plug-in hole 211 and a second plug-in hole 221 are provided on the first support plate 21 and the second support plate 22, each of which leads from the inside to the outside to a corresponding vent pipe 41. The vent pipes 41 of the two bladders 4 are connected by the connecting pipes 42, wherein the connecting pipes 42 are located at the bottom of the wheel carrier 2 and air nozzles 45 are provided on the connecting pipes 42. In this embodiment, the connecting pipe 42 comprises a first pipe section 421 and a second pipe section 422. The air nozzles are connected to the first pipe section 421 and the second pipe section 422 by connections 44. A deviation opening 11 is provided on the housing 1, through which the air nozzles 45 are exposed.

[0021] In an expanded state of the bladder 4 during ventilation, the roller 3 at least partially exposes the bottom of the housing 1, and wherein in a contracted state of the bladder 4 during ventilation, the bottom of the housing 1 lies below the rollers 3, ie the roller 3 can be hidden in the mounting groove 13 of the housing 1.

[0022] To support the connecting pipes 42, a support section 23 for supporting the connecting pipes 42 is provided on the bottom of the wheel carrier 2. The support section 23 can take various structural forms; it can be U-shaped, L-shaped, or other structural shapes. In this embodiment, the support section 23 is a U-shaped ring arranged at the bottom of the third support plate 24. Connections 44 are arranged inside the U-shaped ring and are attached to the underside of the U-shaped ring by connecting pins. The air nozzles 45 extend from the inside to the outside of the U-shaped ring.

[0023] When the umbrella holder needs to be moved, the external ventilation device is connected to the air nozzles 45 to inflate the bladders 4 above the air nozzles 45, as shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6. When the bladders 4 are inflated, the drive wheel carrier 2 and the casters 3 are moved downward synchronously relative to the housing 1. When the bladders 4 are inflated until the bottom of the casters 3 is below the housing 1, inflation is stopped. At this time, the casters 3 are brought into contact with the ground, while the housing 1 is detached from the ground, and the ventilation device is removed, thus moving the umbrella holder.

[0024] When it is necessary to retract the rollers 3 when the umbrella holder is moved to a suitable position, the gas in the bladders 4 is discharged through the air nozzles 45, as shown in Fig. 3 and Fig.4. During the deflation and contraction of the bladders 4, the wheel carrier 2 and the casters 3 move upward relative to the housing 1 in synchronism with the elastic recovery of the elastic elements 6. At a certain degree of contraction of the bladders 4, the casters 3 are hidden in the housing 1, ie the bottom of the casters 3 is above the bottom of the housing 1, and the housing 1 contacts the ground, whereby the casters 3 detach from the ground, so that the umbrella holder cannot be moved.
