AI Technical Summary
Electronic devices in vibrating environments, such as railway vehicles, face challenges in suppressing capacitor vibrations due to the complexity of bus bar arrangements when using conventional capacitor mounting methods, leading to increased vibration and structural complexity.
An electronic device design that includes a plate-shaped base, a capacitor with a cylindrical case, a first plate member, and a fixing member, where the capacitor is attached to the first plate member and the second plate member is inserted between the first plate member and the base, with the fixing member securing the capacitor to the base, allowing the bus bar to be arranged more simply and reducing vibration.
This design effectively suppresses capacitor vibrations while maintaining a simple structure by minimizing the distance between the capacitor terminals and the base, reducing parasitic inductance and manufacturing costs, and ensuring the capacitor is securely fixed to the base through multiple members.

Abstract
Description
electronic equipment
[0001] The present disclosure relates to electronic devices.
[0002] Electronic devices, such as propulsion control devices and power conversion devices mounted on railway vehicles, include a housing that houses multiple electronic components. An example of this type of electronic device is disclosed in Patent Document 1. The power conversion device disclosed in Patent Document 1 as an example of an electronic device includes a base plate attached to the housing, a semiconductor module attached to the base plate, a capacitor attached to the base plate, and a bus bar that electrically connects terminals of the capacitor and the semiconductor module.
[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-252327
[0004] A general-purpose capacitor has a cylindrical case that houses a capacitor element and is closed at both ends. One end of the case is provided with a terminal, and the other end of the case is formed with a mounting portion for fixing the capacitor to another member, such as a base plate. The general-purpose capacitor described above may be used as the capacitor included in the power conversion device disclosed in Patent Document 1.
[0005] To prevent the capacitor from vibrating due to vibrations caused by the train when it is running, the capacitor is fixed to the base with a fixing member attached to the mounting portion, with the mounting portion of the capacitor facing the base. In this case, the bus bar that electrically connects the capacitor terminals to the semiconductor module attached to the base plate must be arranged to bypass the fixing member and other electronic components, which makes the structure of the power conversion device complicated.
[0006] On the other hand, if the capacitor is attached to the base with its terminals facing the base plate in order to prevent the power converter from becoming too complicated by arranging the busbars in the shortest distance along the base plate, the distance from the base to the attachment point becomes long. This causes the capacitor to vibrate due to vibrations caused by the train traveling. The above-mentioned problem is not limited to power converters, but can occur in any electronic device equipped with a capacitor that is installed in an environment subject to vibrations.
[0007] The present disclosure has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and aims to provide an electronic device having a simple structure that suppresses vibration of a capacitor.
[0008] To achieve the above object, the electronic device of the present disclosure includes a plate-shaped base, a capacitor, a first plate-shaped member, one or more second plate-shaped members, and a fixing member. The capacitor includes a capacitor element, a cylindrical case closed at both ends and housing the capacitor element, a plurality of terminals electrically connected to the capacitor element and exposed to the outside from one end face of the case facing the base, and a mounting portion provided on the outer surface of the case. The capacitor is attached to the first plate-shaped member using the mounting portion. The second plate-shaped member is provided between the first plate-shaped member and the base and has a through hole formed therein through which the capacitor is inserted. The fixing member fixes the first plate-shaped member to one of the second plate-shaped members and fixes the one or more second plate-shaped members to the base.
[0009] The electronic device disclosed herein includes a first plate-shaped member on which a capacitor is attached, with multiple terminals facing a base, and a fixing member that fixes the first plate-shaped member to one of the second plate-shaped members and fixes the second plate-shaped member to the base. Fixing the capacitor to the base via the first plate-shaped member, the second plate-shaped member, and the fixing member suppresses vibration of the capacitor. Because the multiple terminals of the capacitor face the base, the layout path of the bus bar connecting the terminals to the electronic component attached to the base is prevented from becoming complicated, and the structure of the electronic device is simplified.

[0011] Hereinafter, electronic devices according to embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings, in which the same or equivalent parts are designated by the same reference numerals.
[0012] First Embodiment An example of an electronic device is a DC-to-three-phase converter that is mounted on a railway vehicle and converts DC power supplied from a DC power source into AC power for supply to a load device, and then supplies the converted AC power to the load device. Using the DC-to-three-phase converter as an example, an electronic device 1 according to a first embodiment will be described.
[0013] 1 is mounted on a railway vehicle that uses a DC power feed system, converts supplied DC power into AC power to be supplied to a load device 71, and supplies the AC power to the load device 71. The load device 71 is, for example, a three-phase induction motor that generates propulsive force for the railway vehicle.
[0014] The electronic device 1 includes a terminal 1a connected to a power supply via a contactor, reactor, etc. (not shown), a terminal 1b connected to ground, a power conversion unit 11 that converts DC power supplied from the power supply into three-phase AC power and supplies the three-phase AC power to a load device 71, and a capacitor C1 whose both ends are connected to the terminals 1a and 1b.
[0015] Terminal 1a is electrically connected to, for example, a current collector that acquires DC power supplied from a substation via a power supply line. The current collector corresponds to a power source that supplies power to electronic device 1. The power supply line is, for example, an overhead line or a third rail. The current collector is, for example, a pantograph or a current collector shoe. Terminal 1b is grounded by being short-circuited to a rail via a grounding brush, earth ring, wheel, or the like (not shown).
[0016] The power conversion unit 11 includes three pairs of switching elements 12 connected in series. The three pairs of switching elements 12 correspond to the U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase of the three-phase AC power, respectively. The switching element 12 corresponding to the U-phase, the switching element 12 corresponding to the V-phase, and the switching element 12 corresponding to the W-phase are connected in parallel with each other between terminals 1 a and 1 b.
[0017] The connection point of the two switching elements 12 corresponding to the U phase, the connection point of the two switching elements 12 corresponding to the V phase, and the connection point of the two switching elements 12 corresponding to the W phase are each electrically connected to a load device 71.
[0018] Each switching element 12 includes an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) 13 and a free wheel diode 14 having an anode connected to the emitter terminal of the IGBT 13 and a cathode connected to the collector terminal of the IGBT 13. A gate signal from a control unit (not shown) is supplied to the gate terminal of the IGBT 13 of each switching element 12 included in the power conversion unit 11, thereby controlling the on / off of each switching element 12. Through the switching operation of each switching element 12, the power conversion unit 11 converts DC power into three-phase AC power and supplies the three-phase AC power to the load device 71.
[0019] The capacitor C1 is charged with DC power supplied from the power supply. The capacitor C1 forms an LC filter together with a reactor provided in the circuit between the terminal 1a and the power supply, and reduces harmonic components generated by the switching operation of the power conversion unit 11.
[0020] 2 , the capacitor C1 includes a cylindrical case 60, a plurality of terminals 61 exposed to the outside from one end face of the case 60, a mounting portion 62 provided on the other end face of the case 60, a capacitor element 63 housed in the case 60, lead tabs 64 electrically connecting the capacitor element 63 to each of the terminals 61, and an insulating sealing member 65 that closes the opening of the case 60.
[0021] The case 60 has a cylindrical shape with one end open, and the open end is sealed by a sealing member 65. In other words, the case 60 of the capacitor C1 has a cylindrical shape with both ends closed. As an example, the case 60 is formed from a cylindrical metal member, such as aluminum. The case 60 is insulated from the terminals 61 by the sealing member 65.
[0022] In the first embodiment, a two-terminal capacitor is used as the capacitor C1. In other words, the capacitor C1 has two terminals 61. One terminal 61 is electrically connected to the terminal 1a shown in FIG. 1 and the switching elements 12 of the upper arms of the U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase of the power conversion unit 11. The other terminal 61 is electrically connected to the terminal 1b and the switching elements 12 of the lower arms of the U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase of the power conversion unit 11.
[0023] 2, the attachment portion 62 is provided on the closed end surface of the case 60, in other words, on the surface of the case 60 opposite to the surface on which the terminals 61 are provided. The attachment portion 62 is formed as a threaded projection that protrudes from the outer surface of the case 60 in the direction of extension of the central axis of the case 60.
[0024] The capacitor element 63 has two electrodes and a dielectric sandwiched between the two electrodes. For example, the capacitor element 63 is a film capacitor formed by winding a dielectric film on which a positive electrode is formed and a dielectric film on which a negative electrode is formed.
[0025] Each lead tab 64 is made of a conductor. One lead tab 64 electrically connects one terminal 61 to the positive electrode of the capacitor element 63. The other lead tab 64 electrically connects the other terminal 61 to the negative electrode of the capacitor element 63.
[0026] The sealing member 65 is made of an insulating material such as rubber, resin, etc. The sealing member 65 seals the opening of the case 60 and insulates the case 60 from each terminal 61.
[0027] The structure of the electronic device 1 having the above configuration will be described below. As shown in Figure 3, the electronic device 1 includes a housing 20 that houses the components, a bus bar 15 that is housed in the housing 20 and connects each terminal 61 of the capacitor C1 to the switching element 12, and a plate-shaped base 21 that is attached to the housing 20. The electronic device 1 further includes a first plate-shaped member 41 to which the capacitor C1 is attached, a second plate-shaped member 42 that has a through-hole formed therein through which the capacitor C1 is inserted, and a fixing member that fixes the first plate-shaped member 41 to the second plate-shaped member 42 and fixes the second plate-shaped member 42 to the base 21, thereby fixing the capacitor C1 to the base 21.
[0028] The electronic device 1 has, as fixing members, a plurality of first rod-shaped members 44 each having one end attached to the base 21, a plurality of second rod-shaped members 45 each having one end inserted into the second plate-shaped member 42 and attached to the first rod-shaped member 44, and a plurality of first fasteners 46 attaching the first plate-shaped member 41 to the other end of each second rod-shaped member 45.
[0029] The electronic device 1 preferably further includes a cooling device 30 attached to the base 21 to cool the components of the electronic device 1. To avoid complicating the drawing, the terminals 1a and 1b shown in FIG. 1 are omitted in FIG. 3.
[0030] In Fig. 3, the X axis extends in the short direction of the housing 20, and the Y axis extends in the long direction of the housing 20. The X axis corresponds to the width direction of the body of the railway vehicle on which the electronic device 1 is mounted, and the Y axis corresponds to the direction of travel of the railway vehicle. The X axis, Y axis, and Z axis are perpendicular to one another. When the railway vehicle on which the electronic device 1 is mounted is located on a horizontal surface, the Z axis indicates the vertical direction. This also applies to subsequent figures.
[0031] The housing 20 is attached to the underfloor of the railroad vehicle body. The housing 20 has sufficient rigidity and strength to withstand the maximum anticipated vibration of the railroad vehicle. For example, the housing 20 is made of a metal member such as iron or aluminum. An opening 20a is formed in a surface of the housing 20 that intersects with the X-axis.
[0032] The base 21 is detachably attached to the housing 20 with the first main surface 21a covering the opening 20a of the housing 20. The base 21 only needs to be firmly attached to the housing 20 to the extent that the relative positional relationship between the base 21 and the housing 20 does not change even when subjected to vibrations while the railway vehicle is running. Specifically, the base 21 is attached to the outer surface of the housing 20 by an attachment method such as fitting, brazing, welding, bonding using an adhesive, or fastening using a fastening member.
[0033] In the first embodiment, the base 21 is a heat-conductive plate-like member attached to the outer surface of the housing 20 with the opening 20a closed. At least one electronic component that generates heat when current is applied is attached to the first main surface 21a of the base 21. For example, as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 4, which is a cross-sectional view taken along line IV-IV in FIG. 3, six switching elements 12 are attached to the first main surface 21a of the base 21. The capacitor C1 is further fixed to the first main surface 21a of the base 21 by the fixing member described above.
[0034] The base 21 is preferably formed from a material with high thermal conductivity, such as a metal such as copper or aluminum, that is capable of transferring heat from the switching elements 12 attached to the first main surface 21a to the cooling device 30.
[0035] A cooling device 30 that dissipates heat transferred from the switching elements 12 attached to the first main surface 21 a is attached to a second main surface 21 b located opposite the first main surface 21 a. With the switching elements 12 and capacitors C1 attached to the first main surface 21 a and the cooling device 30 attached to the second main surface 21 b, the base 21 is attached to the outer surface of the housing 20.
[0036] The cooling device 30 has a heat pipe 31 attached to the base 21 and a plurality of fins 32 attached to the heat pipe 31 with the heat pipe 31 inserted therethrough. The heat pipe 31 is provided on the base 21 and has a main pipe extending in the Y-axis direction, and a branch pipe that communicates with the main pipe, is separated from the base 21, and extends vertically upward. The main pipe is inserted into a groove formed in the base 21 and is fixed to the base 21 by a fixing method such as adhesive bonding or soldering. The branch pipe is attached to the main pipe by a fixing method such as welding or soldering, and communicates with the main pipe.
[0037] Both the main pipe and branch pipes that make up the heat pipe 31 are made of a material with high thermal conductivity, such as a metal such as copper or aluminum. A refrigerant is sealed inside the heat pipe 31. The refrigerant is a substance, such as water, that vaporizes due to heat transferred from electronic components and liquefies when heat is released into the air surrounding the cooling device 30 via the heat pipe 31 and fins 32.
[0038] The fins 32 are formed of flat plate members, and are attached to the heat pipe 31 with their main surfaces parallel to the ZY plane. The fins 32 are made of a material with high thermal conductivity, such as a metal such as copper or aluminum.
[0039] The bus bar 15 electrically connects at least one of the terminals 61 of the capacitor C1 to at least one of the electronic components attached to the base 21. In detail, the bus bar 15 electrically connects one terminal 61 to the switching elements 12 of the upper arms of the U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase of the power conversion unit 11, and electrically connects the other terminal 61 to the switching elements 12 of the lower arms of the U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase of the power conversion unit 11.
[0040] The bus bar 15 is formed of, for example, a laminated bus bar in which a plurality of conductors and a plurality of insulating layers are laminated. In the first embodiment, the bus bar 15 has a flat plate shape extending along the first main surface 21 a of the base 21.
[0041] 3 and 4 , the capacitor C1 is attached to the first plate-shaped member 41. In detail, the mounting portion 62 of the capacitor C1 is inserted into a through-hole formed in the first plate-shaped member 41, and with the first plate-shaped member 41 and the case 60 in contact with each other, the nut 43 is fastened to the mounting portion 62, thereby attaching the capacitor C1 to the first plate-shaped member 41.
[0042] 4, the first plate-shaped member 41 is formed of a plate-shaped member having a square main surface. The first plate-shaped member 41 preferably has sufficient rigidity and strength to avoid deformation even when subjected to the maximum vibration expected from a railway vehicle. For example, the first plate-shaped member 41 is formed of a plate-shaped metal member such as iron, stainless steel, or aluminum, or a plate-shaped fiber-reinforced plastic, etc., having a thickness of 10 millimeters or more.
[0043] As shown in FIG. 5, which is a cross-sectional view taken along line VV in FIG. 4, the first plate-like member 41 is formed with an insertion hole 41a through which the first fastener 46 is inserted.
[0044] 3 and 5, the second plate-shaped member 42 is provided between the first plate-shaped member 41 and the base 21. As shown in Fig. 6, which is a cross-sectional view taken along line VI-VI in Fig. 3, a through-hole 42a through which the capacitor C1 is inserted is formed in the second plate-shaped member 42. The edge of the through-hole 42a faces the outer peripheral surface of the case 60 with a gap therebetween.
[0045] The second plate-shaped member 42 is formed of a plate-shaped member having a square main surface. The second plate-shaped member 42 preferably has sufficient rigidity and strength to withstand the maximum anticipated vibration of a railway vehicle. For example, the second plate-shaped member 42 is formed of a plate-shaped metal member such as iron, stainless steel, or aluminum, or a plate-shaped fiber-reinforced plastic, etc., having a thickness of 10 millimeters or more.
[0046] As shown in FIG. 5, the second plate-shaped member 42 has an insertion hole 42b formed therein, through which the second rod-shaped member 45 is inserted.
[0047] As shown in FIG. 7 , which is a cross-sectional view taken along line VII-VII in FIG. 3 , the electronic device 1 includes four first rod-shaped members 44. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 5 , each first rod-shaped member 44 is a hexagonal prism having a tapered end. One end of each first rod-shaped member 44 is threaded. A first screw hole 44a is formed in the other end of each first rod-shaped member 44. The wall surface of the first screw hole 44a is threaded. Each first rod-shaped member 44 preferably has sufficient rigidity and strength to withstand deformation even when subjected to the maximum vibration expected from a railway vehicle. For example, the first rod-shaped members 44 are formed of a metal member such as iron, stainless steel, or aluminum, or a fiber-reinforced plastic.
[0048] One end of each first rod-shaped member 44 is threaded into a hole 21c having a threaded wall formed in the base 21. By threading one end of each first rod-shaped member 44 into the hole 21c, each first rod-shaped member 44 is fixed to the base 21.
[0049] As shown in FIG. 6 , the electronic device 1 includes four second rod-shaped members 45. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 5 , each second rod-shaped member 45 is a hexagonal prism with one tapered end, similar to the first rod-shaped member 44. One end of each second rod-shaped member 45 is threaded. A second screw hole 45a is formed at the other end of each second rod-shaped member 45. The wall surface of the second screw hole 45a is threaded. Each second rod-shaped member 45 preferably has sufficient rigidity and strength to withstand deformation even when subjected to the maximum vibration expected from a railway vehicle. For example, the second rod-shaped member 45 is formed of a metal member such as iron, stainless steel, or aluminum, or a fiber-reinforced plastic.
[0050] One end of each second rod-shaped member 45 is inserted into the insertion hole 42b of the second plate-shaped member 42 and threadedly engages with the first screw hole 44a of the first rod-shaped member 44. By attaching the second rod-shaped member 45 to the first rod-shaped member 44 as described above, the second plate-shaped member 42 is fixed to the base 21 via the first rod-shaped member 44.
[0051] 4, the electronic device 1 includes four first fasteners 46. As shown in Fig. 5, the first fasteners 46 are inserted into the insertion holes 41a of the first plate-shaped member 41 and screwed into the second screw holes 45a of the second rod-shaped member 45. By attaching the first fasteners 46 to the second rod-shaped member 45 as described above, the first plate-shaped member 41 is fixed to the base 21 via the second rod-shaped member 45 and the first rod-shaped member 44.
[0052] The capacitor C1 is attached to the base 21 by the fixing members that are attached to each other as described above. Specifically, the capacitor C1 is fixed to the base 21 via the first plate-shaped member 41, the first fastener 46, the second rod-shaped member 45, and the first rod-shaped member 44.
[0053] When the railway vehicle is traveling, the housing 20 attached to the car body vibrates. Vibrations are transmitted from the housing 20 to the capacitor C1 via the base 21, the first rod-shaped member 44, the second rod-shaped member 45, the first fastener 46, and the first plate-shaped member 41. One end of the first rod-shaped member 44, which is fixed to the base 21, serves as a fulcrum, and the other end vibrates. The magnitude of the vibration of the other end of the first rod-shaped member 44 is proportional to the length of the first rod-shaped member 44 in the extension direction. The other end of the second rod-shaped member 45, which is fixed to the first rod-shaped member 44, serves as a fulcrum, and the magnitude of the vibration of the other end of the second rod-shaped member 45 is proportional to the length of the second rod-shaped member 45 in the extension direction.
[0054] The length of each of first rod-shaped member 44 and second rod-shaped member 45 in the extension direction is shorter than that of a single member that extends from the capacitor mounting portion to the base and secures the capacitor to the base, and therefore the vibration of capacitor C1 included in electronic device 1 is smaller than that of a capacitor secured to the base by the single member.
[0055] As described above, in the electronic device 1 according to the first embodiment, the capacitor C1 is fixed to the base 21 by a fixing member having the first rod-shaped member 44, the second rod-shaped member 45, and the first fastener 46. By fixing the capacitor C1 to the base 21 by the fixing member, the vibration of the capacitor C1 is small.
[0056] The capacitor C1 is attached to the base 21 with each terminal 61 facing the base 21. This allows the distance of the bus bar 15 connecting each terminal 61 to each switching element 12 attached to the base 21 to be minimized. Specifically, the bus bar 15 can be formed in a flat plate shape along the first main surface 21a of the base 21. This simplifies the routing of the bus bar 15, simplifying the structure of the electronic device 1. The shorter distance of the bus bar 15 reduces the parasitic inductance of the bus bar 15 and also reduces the manufacturing cost of the electronic device 1.
[0057] By forming the fixing member from a conductive metal member, the potential of the case 60 of the capacitor C1 becomes the same as the potential of the housing 20. Therefore, if the housing 20 is grounded, the case 60 of the capacitor C1 is also grounded.
[0058] Second Embodiment The structure for fixing the capacitor C1 to the base 21 is not limited to the above example, and may be any structure as long as the capacitor C1 can be fixed to the base 21 via a plurality of members. In the second embodiment, an electronic device 2 in which the capacitor C1 is fixed to the base 21 using a structure different from that of the first embodiment will be described, focusing on the differences from the first embodiment.
[0059] 8 includes a plurality of second plate-shaped members 42, 47. The plurality of second plate-shaped members 42, 47 are provided between the first plate-shaped member 41 and the base 21, and of the plurality of second plate-shaped members 42, 47, the second plate-shaped member 47 is provided at a position adjacent to the first plate-shaped member 41.
[0060] The electronic device 2 has, as fixing members, a plurality of first rod-shaped members 44 each having one end attached to the base 21, a plurality of third rod-shaped members 48, 49 respectively provided between the second plate-shaped members 42, 47 and between the first plate-shaped member 41 and the second plate-shaped member 47, and a plurality of second fasteners 50 for attaching the first plate-shaped member 41 to the third rod-shaped member 49.
[0061] The second plate-shaped members 42 and 47 have the same shape. The second plate-shaped member 47 has a through hole through which the capacitor C1 is inserted, similar to the second plate-shaped member 42. The edge of the through hole faces the outer peripheral surface of the case 60 with a gap therebetween.
[0062] The second plate-shaped member 47 is formed of a plate-shaped member having a square main surface. The second plate-shaped member 47 preferably has sufficient rigidity and strength to withstand the maximum anticipated vibration of the railway vehicle. For example, the second plate-shaped member 47 is formed of a metal member such as iron, stainless steel, or aluminum, or a fiber-reinforced plastic plate having a thickness of 10 millimeters or more.
[0063] As shown in FIG. 9, the second plate-shaped member 47 has an insertion hole 47a formed therein through which the third rod-shaped member 49 is inserted.
[0064] As in the first embodiment, the electronic device 2 includes four first rod-shaped members 44. The electronic device 2 further includes four third rod-shaped members 48, each having one end attached to the first rod-shaped members 44, and four third rod-shaped members 49, each having one end attached to the third rod-shaped members 48.
[0065] Each third rod-shaped member 48 is disposed between adjacent second plate-shaped members 42, 47. Like the first rod-shaped member 44, each third rod-shaped member 48 is a hexagonal prism having one tapered end. One end of each third rod-shaped member 48 is threaded. A third screw hole 48a is formed in the other end of each third rod-shaped member 48. The wall surface of the third screw hole 48a is threaded. Each third rod-shaped member 48 preferably has sufficient rigidity and strength to withstand deformation even when subjected to the maximum anticipated vibration of a railway vehicle. For example, the third rod-shaped member 48 is formed of a metal member such as iron, stainless steel, or aluminum, or fiber-reinforced plastic.
[0066] One end of each third rod-shaped member 48 is inserted into the insertion hole 42b of the second plate-shaped member 42 and threadedly engages with the first screw hole 44a of the first rod-shaped member 44. By attaching the third rod-shaped members 48 to the first rod-shaped members 44 as described above, the second plate-shaped member 42 is fixed to the base 21 via the first rod-shaped members 44.
[0067] Each third rod-shaped member 49 is provided between the first plate-shaped member 41 and the second plate-shaped member 47. Like the third rod-shaped member 48, each third rod-shaped member 49 is a hexagonal prism having one tapered end. One end of each third rod-shaped member 49 is threaded. A third screw hole 49a is formed in the other end of each third rod-shaped member 49. The wall surface of the third screw hole 49a is threaded. Each third rod-shaped member 49 preferably has sufficient rigidity and strength to avoid deformation even when subjected to the maximum anticipated vibration of the railway vehicle. For example, the third rod-shaped member 49 is formed of a metal member such as iron, stainless steel, or aluminum, or a fiber-reinforced plastic.
[0068] One end of each third rod-shaped member 49 is inserted into the insertion hole 47a of the second plate-shaped member 47 and threadedly engages with the third screw hole 48a of the third rod-shaped member 48 provided in a position adjacent to the third rod-shaped member 49. As a result, the third rod-shaped members 48, 49 are attached to each other. By attaching the third rod-shaped member 49 to the third rod-shaped member 48 as described above, the second plate-shaped member 47 is fixed to the base 21 via the third rod-shaped member 48 and the first rod-shaped member 44.
[0069] The electronic device 2 includes four second fasteners 50 attached to the third rod-shaped member 49. The second fasteners 50 are inserted into the insertion holes 41 a of the first plate-shaped member 41 and screwed into the third screw holes 49 a of the third rod-shaped member 49. By attaching the second fasteners 50 to the third rod-shaped member 49 as described above, the first plate-shaped member 41 is fixed to the base 21 via the third rod-shaped member 49, the third rod-shaped member 48, and the first rod-shaped member 44.
[0070] The capacitor C1 is attached to the base 21 by the fixing members that are attached to each other as described above. In detail, the capacitor C1 is fixed to the base 21 via the first plate-shaped member 41, the first fastener 50, the third rod-shaped member 49, the third rod-shaped member 48, and the first rod-shaped member 44.
[0071] As described above, in the electronic device 2 according to the second embodiment, the capacitor C1 is fixed to the base 21 by a fixing member including the first rod-shaped member 44, the third rod-shaped members 48 and 49, and the first fastener 50. Fixing the capacitor C1 to the base 21 by the fixing member reduces vibration of the capacitor C1. Compared to the first embodiment, since the capacitor C1 is fixed to the base 21 via more members, vibration of the capacitor C1 included in the electronic device 2 is smaller.
[0072] Third Embodiment The structure for fixing the capacitor C1 to the base 21 is not limited to the above example, and any structure is possible as long as the capacitor C1 can be fixed to the base 21 via a plurality of members. In the third embodiment, an electronic device 3 in which the capacitor C1 is fixed to the base 21 using a structure different from those in the first and second embodiments will be described, focusing on the differences from the first embodiment.
[0073] The electronic device 3 of embodiment 3 shown in Figure 10 and Figure 11, which is an arrow cross-sectional view along line XI-XI in Figure 10, comprises a plurality of first spacers 51 abutting the second plate-shaped member 42 and the base 21, and a plurality of second spacers 52 abutting the first plate-shaped member 41 and the second plate-shaped member 42.
[0074] The electronic device 3 has, as fixing members, a first fastening member 53 that fixes the first spacer 51 to the base 21, a second fastening member 54 that fixes the second plate-shaped member 42 to the first spacer 51, a third fastening member 55 that fixes the second spacer 52 to the second plate-shaped member 42, and a fourth fastening member 56 that fixes the first plate-shaped member 41 to the second spacer 52.
[0075] The electronic device 3 includes four first spacers 51. Each first spacer 51 is formed of a columnar member having a T-shaped cross section perpendicular to the Y axis. The first spacers 51 preferably have sufficient rigidity and strength to withstand the maximum anticipated vibration of a railway vehicle. The first spacers 51 are formed, for example, from a metal member such as stainless steel or aluminum, or fiber-reinforced plastic. As an example, the first spacers 51 are formed by cutting out a metal block.
[0076] The electronic device 3 includes two second spacers 52. Each second spacer 52 is formed of a columnar member having a T-shaped cross section perpendicular to the Y axis. The second plate-shaped member 42 has an insertion hole 42c formed therein through which the second fastening member 54 is inserted and an insertion hole 42d formed therein through which the third fastening member 55 is inserted.
[0079] Two insertion holes 51a through which the first fastening members 53 are inserted are formed at one end of the first spacer 51 that abuts against the base 21, and a first fastening hole 51b through which the second fastening member 54 is inserted is formed at the other end of the first spacer 51. For example, the wall surface of the first fastening hole 51b is threaded.
[0080] Two insertion holes 52a are formed at one end of the second spacer 52 that abuts against the second plate-shaped member 42, and two insertion holes 52a are formed through which the third fastening member 55 is inserted, and a second fastening hole 52b is formed at the other end of the second spacer 52, through which the fourth fastening member 56 is inserted.
[0081] The first fastening member 53 preferably has sufficient rigidity and strength to prevent deformation even when subjected to the maximum anticipated vibration of the railway vehicle. For example, the first fastening member 53 is made of a metal member such as iron, stainless steel, or aluminum, or a fiber-reinforced plastic.
[0082] The first fastening member 53 is, for example, a bolt with a threaded tip, which is screwed into the hole 21 d. More specifically, the first fastening member 53 is inserted into the insertion hole 51 a of the first spacer 51 that is in contact with the base 21, and is screwed into the hole 21 d of the base 21. [0084] The second fastening member 54 is, for example, a bolt having a threaded tip, and is threaded into the first fastening hole 51b of the first spacer 51. More specifically, the second fastening member 54 is inserted into the insertion hole 42c of the second plate-shaped member 42 that is in contact with the first spacer 51, and is threaded into the first fastening hole 51b of the first spacer 51. As a result, the second plate-shaped member 42 is fixed to the first spacer 51. As described above, by attaching the second fastening member 54 to the first spacer 51, the second plate-shaped member 42 is fixed to the base 21 via the first spacer 51.
[0085] The third fastening member 55 includes a bolt 55a having a threaded tip and a nut 55b having an inner peripheral surface that screws onto the bolt 55a. The third fastening member 55 preferably has sufficient rigidity and strength to withstand the maximum anticipated vibration of the railway vehicle. For example, the third fastening member 55 may be made of a metal material such as iron, stainless steel, or aluminum, or a fiber-reinforced plastic.
[0086] The bolt 55a is inserted through the insertion hole 52a of the second spacer 52 and the insertion hole 42d of the second plate-shaped member 42, and then screwed onto the nut 55b, thereby fixing the second spacer 52 to the second plate-shaped member 42. As a result, the second spacer 52 is fixed to the base 21 via the second plate-shaped member 42 and the first spacer 51.
[0087] The fourth fastening member 56 preferably has sufficient rigidity and strength to avoid deformation even when subjected to the maximum anticipated vibration of the railway vehicle. For example, the fourth fastening member 56 is made of a metal member such as iron, stainless steel, or aluminum, or a fiber-reinforced plastic.
[0088] The fourth fastening member 56 is, for example, a bolt having a threaded tip, and is threaded into the second fastening hole 52b of the second spacer 52. More specifically, the fourth fastening member 56 is inserted into the insertion hole 41b of the first plate-shaped member 41 and threaded into the second fastening hole 52b of the second spacer 52. As a result, the first plate-shaped member 41 is fixed to the second spacer 52. As described above, by attaching the fourth fastening member 56 to the second spacer 52, the first plate-shaped member 41 is fixed to the base 21 via the second spacer 52, the second plate-shaped member 42, and the first spacer 51.
[0089] The capacitor C1 is attached to the base 21 by the fixing members that are attached to each other as described above. In detail, the capacitor C1 is fixed to the base 21 via the first plate-shaped member 41, the fourth fastening member 56, the second spacer 52, the third fastening member 55, the second plate-shaped member 42, the second fastening member 54, the first spacer 51, and the first fastening member 53.
