[0004] Patent Document 1 International Publication, No. WO 2018 / 154765 Overview of the inventionProblem to be solved by the invention
[0005] In state-of-the-art air conditioning systems, when oil or cleaning agents suspended in the air in a room being air-conditioned adhere to a ceiling tile, a chemical change between the oil or cleaning agent and a resin forming the ceiling tile causes tiny cracks in the resin forming the ceiling tile. This phenomenon is called crazing. If stress is applied to the resin in which such tiny cracks have been created, the resin is more likely to crack.
[0006] In a prior art structure in which a ceiling panel is fixed to an indoor unit using panel fixing screws, in a case where there is a gap between a corner cover and a corner portion, outside air may penetrate through the gap, and oil or detergent contained in the outside air may deposit at the corner portion, causing crazing in a resin forming the corner portion. Consequently, cracks and damage are more likely to occur in the corner portion where stress is applied by the panel fixing screws than during manufacturing, resulting in a problem of deterioration in the lifespan and aesthetic appearance of the ceiling panel.
[0007] The present disclosure has been made to solve the problems described above, and an object thereof is to provide an air conditioner that can prevent the occurrence of crazing caused by deposition of oil or detergent in the air at a portion where screws of a ceiling plate are attached, as well as cracking and damage of the ceiling plate. Means of solving the problem
[0008] An air conditioner according to the present disclosure is configured such that a cover piece that covers screws of a ceiling plate and seals an attachment part is provided in the attachment part, which is a region where the screws of the ceiling plate are attached, so that deposition of oil, detergent, or the like suspended in the air and causing hairline cracking on the attachment part is prevented. Effects of the invention
[0009] When an air conditioner of the present disclosure is used, the cover piece covers screws of a ceiling panel in an attachment part where the screws are installed and seals the attachment part. Therefore, it is possible to isolate the attachment part from the outside air. Consequently, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of hairline cracking caused by deposition of oil, detergent, or the like suspended in the air at the attachment part, and to prevent cracking and damage to the ceiling panel. [0010] Hereinafter, a configuration of an air conditioner according to the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. Here, like reference numerals denote the same or equivalent components, and the description thereof will be omitted or simplified as appropriate. This will be consistent throughout the specification. The description of this application is not limited to the following embodiment and may be modified or omitted without departing from the spirit of this application. In particular, the shapes of the constituent elements shown in this application are merely examples and are not limited to the shapes described in the specification. The drawings may illustrate actual structures in a simplified manner. Furthermore, the size of each component and positional relationships between the components in the drawings may differ from actual ones.
[0011] Furthermore, in the following description, terms expressing orientations (e.g., "front," "front side," "in front," "back," "rear," "rear side," "depth," "inside," "outside," and the like) are used appropriately, but these terms indicate the relative positional relationships between components and do not limit the content of the present disclosure. In addition, a "front-to-rear direction" is a vertical direction when an air conditioner is installed in a usable state. In the front-to-rear direction, a direction from the ceiling surface toward the interior is assumed to be a forward direction. The direction opposite to the forward direction is a backward direction. In addition, regarding the terms such as “inside” and “outside,” in a case where the air conditioner is installed in a usable state and each component is viewed from the interior, a side near the center is called an “inside,” and a side closer to an end than the center is called an “outside.” First embodiment
[0012] Parts (a) and (b) of the Fig. 1 are perspective views showing the overall structure of an air conditioner 100 according to a first embodiment of the present disclosure. Part (a) of Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the air conditioner 100 as seen from above the ceiling.

Further, the filter outer frame 15 includes a second lid piece 32 at a position symmetrical to the first lid piece 31 along a center line AA. The configuration of the second lid piece 32 is symmetrical to the configuration of the first lid piece 31 with respect to the line AA, and a description thereof will therefore be omitted. Furthermore, the filter outer frame 15 includes a third lid piece 33 on the line AA of the upper outer frame attachment piece 18a, the third lid piece 33 including an inwardly projecting part thereof.
[0038] Part (a) of the Fig. Fig. 8 is an enlarged view of the first cover piece 31 and the surrounding area D1 in the part (a) of the Fig. 7. Part (a) of the Fig. Figure 8 is a diagram of the area D1 as viewed at an angle different from that shown in part (a) of the Fig. 7, and is a perspective view of the first cover piece 31 when viewed from the front and central side of the filter outer frame 15.
[0039] Part (b) of the Fig. Fig. 8 is an enlarged view of the first lid piece 31 and a surrounding area D2 in the part (b) of the Fig. 7.
[0040] The first cover piece 31 is made using parts (b) and (b) of the Fig. 8 described.
[0041] The first cover piece 31 includes a cover piece 35 and a cover wall piece 36. The cover piece 35 is a substantially rectangular plate-like member. The cover wall piece 36 is provided to protrude further rearward than a rear surface 35a of the cover piece 35. The rear surface 35a of the cover piece 35 is a surface that faces a first wall piece 61 of the first attachment piece 41 when the filter outer frame is attached to the plate 2.
[0042] The upper left corner portion of the cover piece 35 protrudes further inward than the lower outer frame attachment piece 18b and the right outer frame attachment piece 18c. The cover piece 35 has a rounded upper left corner portion. The cover piece 35 has an upper end connected to the right outer frame attachment piece 18c and a left end connected to the lower outer frame attachment piece 18b. The cover piece 35 is integrally formed with the lower outer frame attachment piece 18b and the right outer frame attachment piece 18c and forms a part of the outer frame attachment piece 18. In other words, in this embodiment, a part of the outer frame attachment piece 18 is used as the cover piece 35.
[0043] The cover wall piece 36 includes a first cover wall piece 36a which protrudes further rearward than the upper end of the cover piece 35 and extends to the right and left, a second cover wall piece 36b which protrudes further rearward than the left end of the cover piece 35 and extends vertically, and a third cover wall piece 36c which is provided between the first cover wall piece 36a and the second cover wall piece 36b with a curved surface and extends further rearward than the cover piece 35. The cover piece 35 and the cover wall piece 36 are integrally formed using a resin.
[0044] Similarly, the second lid piece 32 includes a cover piece 38 and a cover wall piece 65. Further, the third lid piece 33 includes a cover piece 39 and a cover wall piece 66. The cover piece 38 and the cover piece 39 are substantially rectangular plate-shaped members. A part of the cover piece 39 is a member identical to the upper outer frame attachment piece 18a. A part of the cover piece 39 protrudes further inward than the upper outer frame attachment piece 18a. The cover piece 66 is provided along the outer edge of the cover piece 39 to have a U-shape with an inwardly curved shape and protrudes toward the rear side.
[0045] The first cover piece 31 includes a guide rib 85 provided to protrude further rearward than the rear surface 35a of the cover piece 35. The guide rib 85 is formed of two ribs extending substantially orthogonally to the first cover wall piece 36a and the second cover wall piece 36b, respectively. The guide rib 85 is provided on the inner side of the cover piece 35 at a distance from the cover wall piece 36 that is greater than or equal to the thickness of the first wall piece 61. With such a structure, when the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2, the first wall piece 61 can be arranged between the cover wall piece 36 and the guide rib 85, and the first cover piece 31 can be easily attached to the attachment piece 41 of the first cover piece 31.
[0046] The guide rib 85 has a tapered surface 89 at one end of a rear end portion 88 facing the cover wall portion 36 in a direction in which its front-to-rear width decreases toward the cover wall portion 36. By providing the tapered surface 87 on the guide rib 85, the first wall portion 61 is guided between the cover wall portion 36 and the guide rib 85 by the tapered surface 89 when the tip of the first wall portion 61 contacts the tapered surface 89 at the time of attaching the filter outer frame 15 to the plate 2. With such a configuration, the filter outer frame 15 can be easily positioned on the plate 2.
[0047] The first cover piece 31 includes a gasket 95 on the rear surface 35a of the cover piece 35. The gasket 95 has a rectangular frame shape and is provided along the four sides of the cover piece 35 between the cover wall piece 36 and the guide rib 85. The gasket 95 has a shape corresponding to the front end portion of the first wall piece 61, which will be described later.
[0048] Although not shown in the drawing, the second cover piece 32 similarly includes a gasket 96 provided in a rectangular frame shape on the rear surface 38a of the cover piece 38. The third cover piece 33 includes a gasket 97 provided in a rectangular frame shape on a rear surface 39a of the cover piece 39.
[0049] When the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2, the gasket 85 contacts the first wall piece 61, and the first cover piece 31 and the attachment piece 41 form a cavity 80 therebetween to seal the first attachment piece 41.
[0050] When the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2, the gasket 96 similarly contacts a second wall piece 62, and the second cover piece 32 and the second attachment piece 42 form a sealed cavity 82 therebetween to seal the second attachment piece 42. Additionally, when the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2, the gasket 97 contacts a third wall piece 63, and the third cover piece 33 and the third attachment piece 43 form a sealed cavity 83 therebetween to seal the third attachment piece 43. In the present disclosure, the first wall piece 61, the second wall piece 62, and the third wall piece 63 are collectively referred to as a wall piece 60.
[0051] The first cover piece 31 includes a first closure means 71. The first closure means 71 is a substantially rectangular plate-shaped element and is provided on the first cover piece 31 such that a portion thereof is embedded in an outer surface piece 37 formed by the cover piece 35 and the second cover wall piece 36b. The longitudinal direction of the first closure means 71 substantially coincides with the front-to-back direction when the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2. The first closure means 71 includes a first grip piece 73 that protrudes further forward than the first cover piece 31 and a first fastening piece 75 that protrudes further rearward than the cover piece 35. The first fastening piece 75 extends along a side surface of the wall piece 61 toward the indoor unit 1 when the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2.The first fastening piece 75 comprises a first locking counterpart 77. The first locking counterpart 77 is then provided on a surface 72a of the first fastening piece 75, which corresponds to a first locking piece 53 (shown by a dashed line in a part (a) of the . Fig. 9) in a state in which the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2. The first locking counterpart 77 couples a partition rib 46 to the first locking piece 53. In this embodiment, the first locking counterpart 77 is a hook 79. The first locking piece 53 is a step piece 58. The filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2 by the hook 79, which hooks onto the step piece 58.
[0052] The first closure means 71 includes a convex reinforcement piece 90 on a surface 71a opposite the surface where the hook 79 is provided. The reinforcement pieces 90 are provided at two ends of the surface 71a in the longitudinal direction of the first closure means 71, from the first grip piece 73 to the first attachment piece 75.
[0053] Since the first fastener 71 includes the reinforcement piece 90, the durability of the fastener 71 is improved, and when the first grip piece 73 is pressed with a finger, the finger is less likely to slip off, and operability is improved. In addition, since the first attachment piece 75 is less likely to bend with respect to the first grip piece 73, the first attachment piece 75 can be easily moved by the user's operation of the grip piece 73, and the hook 79 can be easily detached from the step piece 58. Furthermore, the width of the outer surface piece 37 between the front and rear is narrower than others in the vicinity of the first fastener 71, and thus, a force when the first grip piece 73 is pressed with a finger can easily act on the first attachment piece 75.
[0054] Part (a) of the Fig. Fig. 9 is a perspective view showing the first attachment piece 41 of the plate 2 and its surroundings (a region C in Fig. 6) and is a diagram showing a state in which the filter outer frame 15 is not attached to the plate 2.
[0055] Part (b) of the Fig. 9 is a plan view of part (a) of the Fig. 9.
[0056] Part (c) of the Fig. Fig. 9 is a diagram showing a state in which a screw 24 is used in the configuration of part (b) of the Fig. 9 is not attached to the first attachment piece 41.
[0057] The first attachment piece 41 of the plate 2 is made using parts (a), (b) and (c) of the Fig. 9 described.
[0058] The suction opening edge piece 25 is provided with the first attachment piece 41 for attaching the plate 2 to the indoor unit 1 at the lower right corner.
[0059] The first attachment piece 41 is disposed between the lower intake port edge piece 25b and the right intake port edge piece 25c, and is connected to the lower intake port edge piece 25b and the right intake port edge piece 25c. The first attachment piece 41 is a substantially rectangular member in plan view. The first attachment piece 41 is integrally formed with the lower intake port edge piece 25b and the right intake port edge piece 25c using a resin. The upper left corner of the first attachment piece 41 protrudes further inward than the inner edges of the lower intake port edge piece 25b and the right intake port edge piece 25c.
[0060] As in the Fig. 6, the intake port edge piece 25 further includes the second attachment piece 42 for attaching the panel 2 of the indoor unit 1 in the lower left corner portion. The second attachment piece 42 is disposed between the lower intake port edge piece 25b and the left intake port edge piece 25d, and is connected to the lower intake port edge piece 25b and the left intake port edge piece 25d. The second attachment piece 42 is a substantially rectangular member in plan view. The second attachment piece 42 is integrally formed with the lower intake port edge piece 25b and the left intake port edge piece 25d using a resin. The upper right corner portion of the second attachment piece 42 protrudes further inward than the inner edges of the lower intake port edge piece 25b and the left intake port edge piece 25d.
[0061] As in the Fig. As shown in Figure 6, the intake port edge piece 25 further includes the third attachment piece 43 for attaching the panel 2 to the indoor unit 1 in a central portion to the right and left of the upper intake port edge piece 25a. A part of the third attachment piece 43 is a member similar to the upper intake port edge piece 25a. The third attachment piece 43 has a substantially rectangular shape, with a part protruding further inward than the inner edge of the upper intake port edge piece 25a. The third attachment piece 43 is integrally formed with the upper intake port edge piece 25a using a resin.
[0062] The first attachment piece 41, the second attachment piece 42, and the third attachment piece 43 each have a screw hole 44, and the screws 24, which are the fasteners 23 for fixing the plate 2 to the indoor unit 1, are fitted in the screw holes 44.
[0063] The suction opening edge piece 25 (not shown) comes into contact with the indoor unit 1 when the plate 2 is fixed to the indoor unit 1 with the screws 24 installed in the first attachment piece 41, the second attachment piece 42, and the third attachment piece 43, respectively.
[0064] The plate 2 includes a plate peripheral wall 27 that extends further forward than the outer periphery of the intake opening edge piece 25. The plate peripheral wall 27 is provided in a square cylindrical shape on the outer periphery of the intake opening edge piece 25. The plate peripheral wall 27 has a shape that extends forward. The intake opening edge piece 25 is arranged between the plate peripheral wall 27 and the plate air intake opening 13. The plate peripheral wall 27 is formed by an upper plate peripheral wall 27a (in a part (a) of the Fig. 10) provided at the outer edge of the upper intake opening edge piece 25a, a lower plate peripheral wall 27b provided at the outer edge of the lower intake opening edge piece 25b, and a right plate peripheral wall 27c provided at the outer edge of the right intake opening edge piece 25c, and a left plate peripheral wall 27d (shown in the part (a) of Fig. 10) provided on the outer edge of the left intake opening edge piece 25a. The plate 2 has an insertion opening 28 (which is shown in the part (a) of Fig. 10), which is an opening into which a projection 19 (not shown) of the filter outer frame 15 is inserted, is provided on both the right and left sides of the center line AA on the upper plate peripheral wall 27a.
[0065] The plate 2 includes a grille attachment surface 26 so as to surround the plate peripheral wall 27. The grille attachment surface 26 is a surface covered by the grille 10 when the grille 10 is attached to the plate 2. The plate 2 includes, on one side of the grille attachment surface 26, a pair of grille attachment pieces 95 that serve as a pivot point for supporting the grille 10, allowing the grille 10 to be opened and closed and the grille 10 to be rotated.
[0066] The plate 2 includes a plurality of flat, plate-like support ribs 29 extending further forward than a front surface 25e of the intake port edge piece 25. The plurality of support ribs 29 are provided with a predetermined width in the front-to-rear direction with respect to the front surface 25e. The plurality of support ribs 29 are also connected to the plate peripheral wall 27 in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plate peripheral wall 27. The intake port edge piece 25, the plate peripheral wall 27, and the plurality of support ribs 29 are integrally formed using a resin. The front end of the plate peripheral wall 27 is located further forward than the front end of the support ribs 29.A rear surface 15a of the filter outer frame 15 (not shown, this corresponds to the rear surface of the outer frame attachment piece 18) contacts the front end of the support ribs 29, and thus the position of the filter outer frame 15 is fixed in the front-to-rear direction with respect to the plate 2. The filter outer frame 15 is attached to the inner side of the plate peripheral wall 27.
[0067] The first attachment piece 41 has the screw hole 44, and the panel 2 is attached to the indoor unit 1 by screwing the screw 24 into the screw hole 44 and a screw hole (not shown) formed in the indoor unit 1. The screw 24 includes an annular screw head 24a. In a state where the screw 24 is attached to the screw hole 44, a region where the first attachment piece 41 is covered with the screw when the panel 2 is viewed from the front is referred to as a screw attachment region 45. The barrier rib 46 is provided in a vicinity 41c of the first attachment piece 41 so as to surround the screw attachment region 45 and protrude forward. In other words, the barrier rib 46 is provided in the vicinity of the first attachment piece 41 so as to surround the screw 24 and protrude forward.
[0068] The partition rib 46 includes a first partition rib 46a provided at an upper end 41a of the first attachment piece 41 in a left-right direction, a second partition rib 46b provided at a left end 41b of the first attachment piece 41 in an up-down direction, and a third partition rib 46c connected to the first partition rib 46a and the second partition rib 46b and having a curved surface. Furthermore, the lower plate peripheral wall 27b in contact with the first attachment piece 41 includes a first plate wall piece 50 that is convex inward in the thickness direction of the lower plate peripheral wall 27b along the first attachment piece 41. The right plate peripheral wall 27c in contact with the first attachment piece 41 has a second plate wall piece 51 (a portion to the left of a dashed line portion of the plate peripheral wall 27 in parts (a) and (b) of the Fig. 13) that is convex inward in the thickness direction of the right plate peripheral wall 27c along the first attachment piece 41. The widths in the front-to-rear direction of the partition rib 46, the first plate wall piece 50, and the second plate wall piece 51 are substantially the same.
[0069] The first attachment piece 41 has a recess 47 cut inward from a point at the upper end 41a of the first attachment piece to a point at the left end 41b of the first attachment piece. The partition rib 46 has a concave portion 48 provided in the first attachment piece 41 along the recess 47 and protrudes forward with a predetermined width in the front-to-rear direction. A connecting portion between the upper end of the concave portion 48 and the first partition rib 46a is rounded. The partition rib 46 has a support surface portion 56 extending on the outer side (a side opposite the screw attachment portion 45 on the left side) of the first attachment piece 41 substantially horizontally with respect to the front end of the concave portion 48.The shape of the support surface piece 56 substantially coincides with an area cut out by the recess 47. The outer edge of the support surface piece 46 comes into contact with the first separating rib 46a, the second separating rib 46a, and the third separating rib 46c.
[0070] The separating rib 46, the concave portion 48, the support surface piece 56, the first plate wall piece 50, and the second plate wall piece 51 form a cylindrical first wall piece 61. The first wall piece 61 is provided to surround the first attachment piece 41 and protrude further forward than its periphery. The first attachment piece 41 and the first wall piece 61 are integrally formed using a resin.
[0071] A step piece 58 is formed by the support surface piece 56 and the second partition rib 46b, which is connected to the support surface piece 56 and arranged at the front. The step piece 58 is a locking piece 55 for hooking the hook 79, which is a first locking counterpart 77 of the filter outer frame 15. The widths in the front-rear direction of the step piece 58 and the gasket 95 substantially coincide with a distance between the hook 79 and the cover piece 35.
[0072] Further, the panel 2 includes the second attachment piece 41 and the second wall piece 62 at positions symmetrical with respect to the center line AA of the first attachment piece 41. The second wall piece 62 is provided to surround the second attachment piece 42 and protrude further forward than its periphery. Configurations of the second attachment piece 42 and the second wall piece 62 are symmetrical with respect to the center line AA of the first attachment piece 41 and the first wall piece 61, and thus, description thereof will be omitted. Further, the panel 2 includes the third attachment piece 43 and the third wall piece 63, which partially protrude inward on the center line AA of the upper intake opening edge piece 25a. A part of the third attachment piece 43 protrudes toward the inside of the intake opening edge piece 25a.The third wall piece 63 has a cylindrical shape and is provided so as to surround the third attachment piece 43 and protrude further forward than its circumference.
[0073] Part (c) of the Fig. Fig. 9 is a diagram showing a configuration in which the screw 24 is removed from the first attachment piece 41 in the part (b) of the Fig. 9 is removed. A support structure 49 that supports the screw 24 is provided in the screw attachment portion 45 and has a structure that projects forward. The support structure 49 includes a plurality of circular ribs 49a with different radii provided concentrically around the screw hole 44, and a connecting rib 49b that connects the circular ribs 49a. When the support structure 49 is provided in the first attachment piece 41, stress generated in a part of the support structure 49 that comes into contact with the screw head 24a is dispersed by the support structure 49 at the time of attaching the screw 24 to the first attachment piece 41, and thus, cracking of the first attachment piece 41 due to contact with the screw 24 is prevented.
[0074] The screw attachment portion 45 and the screw 24 are covered by the first wall piece 61 when the first wall piece 61 is attached to the first attachment piece 41. The screw attachment portion 45 and the screw 24 are sealed by the first wall piece 61 when the first wall piece 61 is attached to the first attachment piece 41. The same applies to the screw attachment portion 45 and the screw 24 provided on the second attachment piece 42 and the third attachment piece 43.
[0075] The shapes of the attachment piece 40 and the lid piece 30 in this embodiment are not limited thereto, and an ellipse, a circle, or a polygon other than a substantially rectangular shape may be appropriately used.
[0076] A procedure for attaching the filter outer frame 15 to the plate 2 is described.
[0077] A user views plate 2 along a line drawn in the Fig. 4 and holds the right and left ends of the filter outer frame 15 in a direction shown in the Fig. 4 with his or her right or left hand. Then, the support piece 21 of the filter outer frame 15 is turned towards the side of the plate 2, the filter outer frame 15 is turned in a direction indicated by an arrow on the right side of part (a) of the Fig. 10 and the projection 19 is inserted into the insertion hole 28 of the plate 2. Then, the filter outer frame 15 is moved in a direction indicated by an arrow on the left side of part (a) of the Fig. 10 so that the filter outer frame 15 is fitted into the plate peripheral wall 27. At this time, the hook 79, which is the first locking counterpart 77 included in the first locking means 71 provided in the first lid piece 31 of the filter outer frame 15, hooks into the step piece 58, which is the first locking piece 53, and the first lid piece 31 is attached to the first wall piece 61 and the first attachment piece 41. Similarly, a hook 80, which is the second locking counterpart included in the second locking means 72 provided in the second lid piece 32, hooks into a step piece 59, which is a second locking piece 54, and the second lid piece 32 is attached to the second wall piece 62 and the second attachment piece 42. In this way, the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2.
[0078] When the filter outer frame 15 is removed from the plate 2, the user views the plate 2 and the filter outer frame 15 in the Fig. 4 and places a finger of the right hand on the inner surface (the left side surface 71a) in the right-left direction of the first grip piece 73 of the first closure means 71 in the filter outer frame 15. Further, the user places a finger of the left hand on the inner surface (the right side surface 72a) in the left-right direction of the second grip piece 74 of the second closure means 72. Then, the user simultaneously pushes the first grip piece 73 and the second grip piece 74 outward (to the right for the first grip piece 73 and to the left for the second grip piece 74). Thereby, the first closure means 71 is moved to the position indicated by a dashed line 71 in part (a) of Fig. 13, the first fastening piece 75 and a second fastening piece 76 are moved to a side opposite to the direction in which they are pushed, the hook 79 is removed from the step piece 58 of the first attachment piece 41, and the hook 80 is removed from the step piece 59 of the second attachment piece 42. In other words, the first locking counterpart 77 is released from the first locking piece 53 by moving the first grip piece 73 toward the first attachment piece 41 side. The same applies to the second grip piece 74. After the hooks 79 and 80 are removed from the step pieces 58 and 59, respectively, the user holds the lower right and lower left corner portions of the filter outer frame 15 while moving the first grip piece 73 and the second grip piece 74 with his or her fingers, and moves the filter outer frame 15 forward.Since the protrusion 19 of the filter outer frame 15 is inserted into the insertion hole 28 of the plate 2, the lower side of the filter outer frame 15 is tilted forward. Finally, the user pulls the protrusion 19 of the filter outer frame 15 out of the insertion hole 28 of the plate 2. The filter outer frame 15 is removed from the plate 2 through the above operations.
[0079] In the above-described processes of attaching the filter outer frame 15 to the panel 2 and removing the filter outer frame 15 from the panel 2, separate parts such as screws for attaching the filter outer frame 15 to the panel 2 are not required. Therefore, no screw tightening tool, screw tightening process, or the like is required, and the filter outer frame 15 can be easily attached to the panel 2 when assembling the air conditioner 100. Alternatively, the filter outer frame 15 can be easily removed from the indoor unit 1 and attached to the panel 2 during maintenance of the filter outer frame 15.
[0080] Fig. Fig. 11 is a perspective view showing the first attachment piece 41 and the first lid piece 31 in a state in which the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2 (corresponding to a region B in Fig. 4). When the plate 2 is viewed from the front, the separating rib 46 is arranged inside the cover piece 35, instead of the cover wall piece 36. The hook 79 is hooked into the step piece 58.
[0081] The Fig. 12 is a plan view of the Fig. 11.
[0082] Parts (a) and (b) of the Fig. 13 are cross-sectional views along a line EE in Fig. 12 in the direction between front and rear. The line EE is a cross-sectional line in the direction between right and left, passing through the screw 24 and the screw hole 44. In the part (a) of the Fig. 13, the filter 20 is removed from the filter outer frame 15. In part (b) of the Fig. 13, the filter 20 is attached to the filter outer frame 15.
[0083] The step piece 58 and the hook 79 are assembled using parts (a) and (b) of the Fig. 13 described.
[0084] In parts (a) and (b) of the Fig. 13, a region behind a line F of the plate 2 corresponds to the first attachment piece 41. The concave portion 48 is provided along the recess 47 formed in the first attachment piece 41. The front end of the concave portion 48 is connected to the support surface piece 56, and the support surface piece 56 extends toward a side opposite the screw attachment portion 45 (left side), and the second parting line 46b is provided so as to extend forward from the left end of the support surface piece 56. The step piece 58 is formed by the support surface piece 56 and the second support rib 46b. The screw 24 is screwed into the screw hole 44 and fixes the first attachment piece 41 and the indoor unit 1 (the casing 110). The first attachment piece 41, the screw 24, and the screw hole 44 are covered by the cover piece 31. Although parts (a) and (b) of the Fig. 13 shows a structure in which the tip of the screw 24 is enclosed in the indoor unit 1 (the casing 110), the disclosure herein is not limited to this, and a structure in which the screw 24 penetrates the indoor unit 1 may be implemented. Also in this case, the indoor unit 1 (the casing 110) is formed of a metal, and therefore, no cracks or damage occur on the indoor unit 1 side due to hairline cracking.
[0085] The hook 79 hooks the step piece 58 in a state where the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2. Furthermore, the gasket 95 provided on the rear surface 35a of the cover piece 35 contacts the first wall piece 61.
[0086] The hook 79 has an inclined surface 84 on the lower end portion side of the first closure piece 53, and the inclined surface 84 is inclined upward toward the first closure piece 53 side. Since the hook 79 has the inclined surface 84, in a case where the tip of the first wall piece 61 contacts the inclined surface 84 when attaching the filter outer frame 15 to the plate 2, the hook 79 is guided by the inclined surface 84 to the outside of the first workpiece 61 (in the direction away from the first attachment piece 41), and thus the filter outer frame 15 is easily attached to the plate 2.
[0087] In a state where the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2, an overlap tolerance between the hook 79 and the support surface piece 56 in the front-to-back direction is, for example, between 2 mm and 3 mm. With such a configuration, the first locking means 71 can be connected to the position indicated by the dashed line 71' in the case (a) of the Fig.13 by operating the first handle 73 while maintaining the ability to fit the hook 79 into the step piece 58, and the hook 79 can be easily removed from the step piece 58. Further, the concave portion 48 and the hook 79 are spaced apart from each other in the right-left direction. With such a configuration, removal of the hook 49 from the support surface piece 56 and deterioration of the hooking ability of the hook 79 with the first wall piece 61 due to contact between the concave portion 78 and the hook 79 are prevented.
[0088] In this embodiment, the screw 24 and the first attachment piece 41 are covered with the first cover piece 31 and sealed by the first cover piece 31. For this reason, hairline cracking of the first attachment piece 41, to which the screw 24 for fixing the panel 2 to the indoor unit 1 is attached, is prevented, and cracking and damage to the panel 2 at the first attachment piece 41 can be prevented. For this reason, the first attachment piece 41 of the panel 2 of the present disclosure, to which the screw 24 is attached, can be provided in the vicinity of the panel air intake port 13 where indoor air flow is large. In addition, fastening hangers have been previously arranged between the screws 24 and the first attachment piece 41 to prevent cracking and damage to the panel 2, but such metal plates are no longer required, resulting in a reduction in the number of parts.
[0089] In this embodiment, the first attachment piece 41, the second attachment piece 42, and the third attachment piece 43 are covered and sealed with the first cover piece 31, the second cover piece 32, and the third cover piece 33, respectively. Hairline cracking of the first attachment piece 41, the second attachment piece 42, and the third attachment piece 43, to which the screws 24 are attached, is prevented, and cracking of the panel 2 at these locations can be prevented. For this reason, in the panel 2 of the present disclosure, a plurality of attachment pieces to which the screws 24 are attached can be provided in the vicinity of the panel air intake port 13 where internal air flow is large.Even if a plurality of attachment pieces are provided in the vicinity of the plate air intake port 13, further countermeasures against hairline cracking can be taken by attaching a cover to each of the attachment pieces.
[0090] In this embodiment, a part of the suction opening edge portion 25 of the panel 2 is used as the first attachment portion 41. For this reason, the number of elements for providing the first attachment portion 41 can be reduced compared to other cases.
[0091] In this embodiment, a part of the plate peripheral wall 27 is used as the first wall piece 61 provided in the first attachment piece 41. For this reason, the number of members for sealing the first attachment piece 41 can be reduced compared to a case where the first wall piece 61 is formed by a separate member.
[0092] In this embodiment, the first lid piece 31 is provided in the filter outer frame 15. For this reason, the number of elements used in the air conditioner 100 can be reduced compared to a case where the first lid piece 31 is formed by a separate element. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the panel 2 and the first lid piece 31 is attached to the first attachment piece 41, and thus, the ease of assembling the air conditioner 100 is improved compared to a case where the first lid piece 31 is formed by a separate element. Similar effects to those described above can also be obtained when a plurality of lid pieces are attached to a plurality of attachment pieces.
[0093] In this embodiment, the first cover piece 31 includes the first locking means 71 which is a substantially rectangular plate-like member, and the first handle piece 73 included in the first locking means 71 and projecting further forward than the cover piece 35 is operated, and accordingly, the hook 79 included in the first locking means 71 can be removed from the step piece 58 provided on the plate 2, thereby improving the operability of removing the filter outer frame 15.
[0094] In this embodiment, the first locking means 71 and the second locking means 72 are provided at both ends of a longitudinal side of the filter outer frame 15. For this reason, the user can operate the first locking means 71 and the second locking means 72 while holding both the right and left ends of the filter outer frame 15, and thus, it is easier to remove the filter outer frame 15 from the plate 2 compared to other cases.
[0095] The present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiment and may be appropriately modified without departing from its spirit. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the first wall piece 61 of the first attachment piece 71 is formed by the partition rib 46, the lower plate peripheral wall 27b, and the right plate peripheral wall 27c. However, the shape of the first wall piece 61 is not limited, and the first wall piece 61 may be changed to other shapes as long as the gasket 95 provided in the first lid piece 31 and the first wall piece 61 contact each other when the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2, and the substantially sealed cavity 80, which is isolated from the outside, is formed by the first attachment piece 41, the first wall piece 61, and the first lid piece 31. The same applies to the shapes of the second wall piece 62 and the third wall piece 63.
[0096] Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, the first attachment piece 41 and the cover piece 35 have a substantially rectangular shape, but the shape is not limited thereto. The first attachment piece 41 and the cover piece 35 can be changed to other shapes as long as the first lid piece 31 and the first wall piece 61 contact each other when the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2, and the substantially sealed cavity 80, which is isolated from the outside, is formed by the first attachment piece 41, the first wall piece 61, and the first lid piece 31. The same applies to the second attachment piece 42, the third attachment piece 43, the second lid piece 32, and the third lid piece 33.
[0097] Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, a configuration was implemented in which the attachment pieces 40 are provided at three locations, that is, at the right and left corner portions of the intake opening edge piece 25 of the panel 2 and the central portion between the right and left central portions of the upper intake opening edge piece 25a, and the filter outer frame 15 includes three lid pieces 60 at locations corresponding to the attachment pieces 40. However, this embodiment is not limited to this, and the air conditioner 100 includes four or more attachment pieces in the panel 2, and the filter outer frame 15 or a member separate from the filter outer frame 15 may include four or more lid pieces corresponding to the attachment pieces. Alternatively, the number of attachment pieces and the number of lid pieces may be set to two or one, as long as the panel 2 can be stably attached to the indoor unit 1.
[0098] Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, the first lid piece 31 is attached to the first attachment piece 41 by hooking and holding the hook 79 included in the first locking means 71 onto the step piece 58 included in the first wall piece 61, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. The hook 79 and the step piece 58 may be changed to other shapes as long as the gasket 95 provided in the first lid piece 31 contacts the first wall piece 61 when the filter outer frame 15 is attached to the plate 2, and the substantially sealed cavity 80, which is isolated from the outside, is formed by the first attachment piece 41, the first wall piece 61, the gasket 95, and the first lid piece 31.
[0099] For example, a structure may be implemented in which the first wall piece 61 has a flat side surface instead of the step piece 58, has a recessed portion on the side surface, and a projection such as a convex portion provided in the first closure means 71 is fitted into the recessed portion.
