Description

Technical area

[0001] The present invention relates to a motor driving device that drives a motor. Background technology

[0002] When assembling various devices, such as a motor drive device, two parts are often fastened together by screw fastening. A worker or a robot responsible for screw fastening aligns two parts so that a through hole formed in one part overlaps a screw hole formed in the other part, and fastens a screw while holding the two parts so that they do not shift. However, it may take a long time to align parts whose front and back, top and bottom, and left and right sides are difficult to identify, or to align lightweight parts. In addition, the rotating force of a screw during tightening the screw may cause the parts to rotate, and it may be necessary to realign the two parts again. Citation listPatent literature

[0006] Hereinafter, motor drive devices according to embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following description, constituent elements having substantially the same function and configuration are denoted by the same reference numerals, and repeated descriptions are given only where necessary.

[0007] A feature of the motor drive devices according to embodiments of the present invention is that an alignment structure is provided directly on the parts constituting the motor drive device to facilitate the assembly operation of the motor drive device. This allows parts to be easily aligned with each other without using a separate alignment device during the assembly operation, thereby enabling efficient assembly operation of the motor drive device.

[0008] In the embodiments of the present invention, a screw is used as a fastening element for fastening two parts constituting the motor drive device. However, the fastening element is not limited to a screw, and, for example, a shaft such as a bolt or a rivet may be used.

[0009] In the embodiments of the present invention, one of the first part and the second part constituting the motor drive device has a screw hole (corresponding to the first hole) for fastening a screw, and the other has a through hole (corresponding to the second hole) for passing a screw. The second part is fastened to the first part by inserting a screw from a through hole formed in the second part into a screw hole formed in the first part. However, when a rivet is used as the fastening member, the screw hole is replaced with a through hole for passing the rivet. In this way, a screw hole, a through hole, or the like can be used as the first hole, depending on the fastening member to be used.

[0010] In the embodiments of the present invention, a motor drive device is described as an example. However, the embodiments of the present invention are widely applicable to a variety of devices and mechanisms having two parts that are fastened together using a shaft such as a screw, a bolt, a rivet, or the like.

[0011] A motor driving device according to a first embodiment will be described below with reference to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 described. Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing the motor driving device according to the first embodiment. Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the motor drive device in Fig. 1. As in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, a motor driving device 1 includes a box-shaped housing 10 which is rectangular in plan view with an opening at the top, a housing cover 50 which covers the top opening of the housing 10, and a substrate 30 on which an electronic component (not shown) for driving a motor (not shown) is mounted.

[0012] For convenience of description, the three orthogonal axes are defined as follows. That is, an axis parallel to the short side of the housing 10 is defined as an X1 axis, an axis parallel to the long side of the housing 10 is defined as a Y1 axis, and an axis perpendicular to the X1 axis and the Y1 axis and parallel to the thickness direction of the housing 10 is defined as a Z1 axis. The direction along the Z1 axis is referred to as an up-down direction. The direction in which the substrate 30 is attached to the housing 10 (mounting direction) is parallel to the Z1 axis.

[0013] As in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the housing 10 has a plurality of, here two, upwardly projecting projections 11, a screw hole 13 to which a screw 20 for fastening the substrate 30 to the housing 10 is fastened, and a screw hole 15 to which a screw 40 for fastening the housing cover 50 to the housing 10 is fastened. The screw hole 13 for fastening the substrate and the screw hole 15 for the housing cover are respectively distinguished as a substrate screw hole 13 and a cover screw hole 15. The substrate screw hole 13 and the cover screw hole 15 are provided in such an orientation that the center lines thereof are parallel to the Z1 axis. The substrate 30 has two receiving holes 31 for receiving the two projections 11 provided on the housing 10.The receiving holes 31 are through-holes that penetrate the substrate 30 vertically and are arranged in such a way that their center lines are parallel to the Z-axis. The substrate 30 also has a circular through-hole 33 into which a screw used to attach the substrate 30 to the housing 10 is inserted.

[0014] The projection 11 and the receiving hole 31 are described with reference to Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 described in detail.

[0015] As in Fig. 3, the protrusion 11 is typically configured as a cylindrical body that is longer than the thickness of the substrate 30. The outer diameter of the protrusion 11 is preferably larger than the inner diameter of the through-hole 33 so that the protrusion 11 is not accidentally inserted into the through-hole 33 of the substrate 30. To make it easier for the protrusion 11 to pass through the receiving hole 31, the upper portion of the protrusion 11 has a tapered shape that becomes thinner toward the tip. Of course, the entire protrusion 11 can also be formed into a cylindrical body that gradually becomes thinner toward the tip. To achieve the same effect, the opening of the receiving hole 31 on the back side of the substrate 30 facing the housing 10 can be larger than the opening of the receiving hole 31 on the front side of the substrate 30.

[0016] As in Fig. 3(a) and Fig. As shown in Figure 3(b), the receiving hole 31 has an inner diameter UD (UDmax, UDmin) that is larger than the maximum outer diameter TD of the projection 11. The larger the inner diameter UD of the receiving hole 31 relative to the outer diameter TD of the projection 11, the larger the gap (referred to as a margin) between the outer peripheral surface of the projection 11 and the inner peripheral surface of the receiving hole 31.

[0017] The larger the margin, the higher the work efficiency of the alignment operation, because the receiving holes 31 of the substrate 30 can be passed through the protrusions 11 of the housing 10 simply by roughly aligning the substrate 30 with the housing 10. On the other hand, since the positional displacement amount of the substrate 30 with respect to the housing 10 becomes large, the substrate screw hole 13 of the housing 10 may not be able to be visually recognized through the through-hole 33 of the substrate 30 after the alignment operation. During the screw fastening operation, it is necessary to adjust the position of the substrate 30 with respect to the housing 10 by moving the substrate 30 to align the through-hole 33 of the substrate 30 with the substrate screw hole 13 of the housing 10.If the substrate screw hole 13 cannot be visually recognized through the through hole 33, it is difficult to know in which direction the substrate 30 should be moved, so the substrate 30 must be moved in different directions until the substrate screw hole 13 can be visually recognized through the through hole 33. This reduces the work efficiency of the screw fastening operation.

[0018] The smaller the margin, the more strictly the substrate 30 needs to be aligned with the housing 10, which reduces the work efficiency of the alignment operation. On the other hand, since the positional displacement amount of the substrate 30 with respect to the housing 10 becomes small, the through-hole 33 of the substrate 30 can be aligned with the substrate screw hole 13 of the housing 10. In such a case, it is not necessary to adjust the position of the substrate 30 with respect to the housing 10 during the screw fastening operation, thereby suppressing the reduction in the work efficiency of the screw fastening operation.

[0019] As described above, if the inner diameter of the receiving hole 31 constituting the alignment structure is too large, the working efficiency of the screw fastening operation may be reduced, and if the inner diameter is too small, the working efficiency of the alignment operation may be reduced. In the motor drive device 1 according to the first embodiment, the inner diameter of the receiving hole 31 constituting the alignment structure is designed to achieve both the workability of the alignment operation and the workability of the screw fastening operation. Specifically, the upper limit (maximum inner diameter UDmax) and the lower limit (UDmin) of the inner diameter UD of the receiving hole 31 are defined as follows.A feature of the first embodiment is that the upper limit (maximum inner diameter UDmax) and the lower limit (UDmin) of the inner diameter UD of the receiving hole 31 are defined not only by the outer diameter TD of the projection 11 provided in the housing 10, but also by the inner diameter ND of the substrate screw hole 13 provided in the substrate 30 and the inner diameter SD of the through hole 33 provided in the housing 10.

[0020] As in Fig. 3(a), the maximum inner diameter UDmax of the receiving hole 31 is set to a value obtained by adding twice the maximum range Mmax to the outer diameter TD of the projection 11. The maximum range Mmax corresponds to the maximum value (maximum allowable displacement amount) Smax of the allowable positional displacement amount of the through-hole 33 with respect to the substrate screw hole 13. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 4(b), the maximum allowable displacement amount Smax can be calculated using a calculation formula ((SD + ND) / 2). That is, the maximum inner diameter UDmax of the receiving hole 31 is set to a value obtained by adding the inner diameter SD of the through hole 33 and the inner diameter ND of the substrate screw hole 13.

[0021] It should be noted that, as in Fig. 4(a), the inner diameter SD of the through hole 33 is larger than the inner diameter ND of the substrate screw hole 13. The maximum allowable displacement amount Smax corresponds to the limit value of the positional displacement amount of the through hole 33 with respect to the substrate screw hole 13, which allows the worker to visually recognize a part of the substrate screw hole 13 through the through hole 33.

[0022] By making the inner diameter UD of the receiving hole 31 smaller than the maximum inner diameter UDmax, the worker can at least visually recognize the substrate screw hole 13 through the through hole 33. Accordingly, even if the through hole 33 is not aligned with the substrate screw hole 13 after alignment, the worker can immediately recognize in which direction the substrate 30 should be moved with respect to the housing 10 to align the through hole 33 with the substrate screw hole 13. Therefore, compared to the case where the substrate screw hole 13 cannot be visually recognized through the through hole 33, the reduction in work efficiency of the screw fastening operation can be suppressed.

[0023] As in Fig. 3(b), the minimum inner diameter UDmin of the receiving hole 31 is set to a value obtained by adding twice the minimum margin Mmin to the outer diameter TD of the projection 11. The minimum margin Mmin corresponds to the minimum value (minimum allowable displacement amount) Smin of the allowable positional displacement amount of the through-hole 33 with respect to the substrate screw hole 13. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 4(c), the minimum allowable displacement amount Smin can be calculated using a calculation formula ((SD - ND) / 2). That is, the minimum inner diameter UDmin of the receiving hole 31 is set to a value obtained by adding the difference between the inner diameter SD of the through-hole 33 and the inner diameter ND of the substrate screw hole 13. The minimum allowable displacement amount Smin corresponds to the maximum value of the positional displacement amount of the through-hole 33 with respect to the substrate screw hole 13, which allows the worker to visually recognize the entire substrate screw hole 13 through the through-hole 33.

[0024] When the inner diameter UD of the receiving hole 31 is the minimum inner diameter UDmin, the worker can visually observe the entire substrate screw hole 13 through the through hole 33 after the substrate 30 is aligned with the housing 10, so that the worker can perform the screw fastening operation of the substrate 30 to the housing 10 in the same state after alignment without moving the substrate 30. In other words, the worker can perform the screw fastening operation with the same workability as when the inner diameter UD of the receiving hole 31 matches the outer diameter TD of the projection 11.On the other hand, since the inner diameter UD of the receiving hole 31 is larger than the outer diameter TD of the projection 11, it is easier to insert the receiving hole 31 into the projection 11 than when the inner diameter UD of the receiving hole 31 is the same as the outer diameter TD of the projection 11, and the reduction in the working efficiency of the alignment operation of the substrate 30 with respect to the housing 10 can be suppressed.

[0025] Therefore, by setting the inner diameter UD of the receiving hole 31 constituting the alignment structure to be equal to or larger than the minimum inner diameter UDmin and smaller than the maximum inner diameter UDmax, the reduction in the working efficiency of the screw fastening operation can be suppressed compared with the case where the substrate screw hole 13 cannot be visually recognized through the through hole 33, and the reduction in the working efficiency of the alignment operation can be suppressed compared with the case where the inner diameter UD of the receiving hole 31 is consistent with the outer diameter TD of the protrusion 11. That is, it is possible to achieve both the processability of the alignment operation and the processability of the screw fastening operation. In the case where only the processability of the screw fastening operation is considered, such as the case where the alignment operation is performed by a robot and the screw fastening operation is performed by a worker, the inner diameter UD of the receiving hole 31 constituting the positioning structure only needs to be smaller than the maximum inner diameter UDmax and does not need to be equal to or larger than the minimum inner diameter UDmin.

[0026] Typically, the two receiving holes 31 provided in the substrate 30 are arranged at positions that satisfy three arrangement conditions. Hereinafter, the arrangement conditions will be described with reference to Fig. 5 and Fig. 6. For convenience of description, it is assumed here that a rectangular, plate-shaped second part 90 is aligned with a first part 70. The first part 70 schematically represents the housing 10, and the second part 90 schematically represents the substrate 30. The projection 11 of the housing 10 corresponds to the projection 71 of the first part 70, and the receiving hole 31 of the substrate 30 corresponds to the receiving hole 91 of the second part 90. A center position C1 of the second part 90 corresponds to the position of the width center and the length center of the second part 90.

[0027] Arrangement condition 1. The two receiving holes 91 are arranged at positions that are not symmetrical with respect to the axis Xc1 passing through the center position C1 of the second part 90 and parallel to the short side of the second part 90.

[0028] Arrangement condition 2. The two receiving holes 91 are arranged at positions that are not symmetrical with respect to the axis Yc1 passing through the center position C1 of the second part 90 and parallel to the long side of the second part 90.

[0029] Arrangement condition 3. The two receiving holes 91 are arranged at positions that are not point-symmetric with respect to the center position C1 of the second part 90.

[0030] As in Fig. As shown in Fig. 6, by arranging the two receiving holes 91 at positions that satisfy the above three arrangement conditions, the following effects can be achieved. That is, when the second part 90 is arranged upside down or from front to back with respect to the first part 70, the protrusion 71 of the first part 70 does not pass through the receiving hole 91 of the second part 90 and interferes with the rear surface, so that the second part 90 cannot be fixed to the first part 70 with a screw. That is, it is possible to physically avoid a situation in which the second part 90 is attached to the first part 70 in an incorrect orientation.

[0031] According to the motor drive device 1 of the first embodiment, the following effects are achieved. That is, by directly providing the protrusion 11 and the receiving hole 31 forming the alignment structure in the housing 10 and the substrate 30 constituting the motor drive device 1, the worker can align the housing 10 with the substrate 30 in a small number of steps without using a separate alignment jig, and the work efficiency of the assembly operation of the motor drive device 1 can be improved.

[0032] Furthermore, an upper limit and a lower limit of the size of the receiving hole 31 constituting the alignment structure are determined, and a range is provided for the size of the receiving hole 31, thereby achieving both the processability of the alignment operation and the processability of the screw fastening operation. This also contributes to improving the efficiency of the assembly operation of the motor drive device 1.

[0033] Furthermore, two projections 11 and two receiving holes 31 constituting the alignment structure are provided in the housing 10 and the substrate 30, and the two receiving holes 31 provided in the substrate 30 are arranged at positions that satisfy the three arrangement conditions. This makes it possible to physically avoid a situation in which the substrate 30 is attached to the housing 10 in an incorrect orientation. This also contributes to improving the efficiency of the assembly operation of the motor drive device 1.

[0034] In the first embodiment, the housing 10 has the protrusion 11, and the substrate 30 has the receiving hole 31. However, as a modification of the first embodiment, the housing 10 may have a receiving hole, and the substrate 30 may have a protrusion. Even in such a case, the same effects as those of the first embodiment can be achieved. In this case, it is desirable that the outer diameter of the protrusion be larger than the inner diameter of the screw hole so that the protrusion of the substrate 30 is not accidentally inserted into the screw hole 13, 15 of the housing 10.

[0035] The motor drive device 1 according to the first embodiment has two sets of the protrusion and the receiving hole as an alignment structure. However, the motor drive device 1 according to the first embodiment may have three or more sets of the protrusion and the receiving hole as the alignment structure. Since the position of the substrate 30 with respect to the housing 10 is clearly determined by having three or more sets of the protrusion and the receiving hole as the alignment structure, the risk of confusing the arrangement orientation of the substrate 30 with respect to the housing 10 is low compared to the two-set configuration.

[0036] In the motor drive device 1 according to the first embodiment, the protrusion 11 is configured as a cylindrical body, and the receiving hole 31 is configured to have a circular shape. However, the protrusion 11 is not limited to a cylindrical body, but may be a columnar body with any cross-sectional shape, such as an elliptical columnar body, an elongated columnar body, and a polygonal columnar body.

[0037] A motor drive device 2 according to a second embodiment will be described below with reference to Fig. 7 and Fig. 8. To simplify the description, it is assumed here that a rectangular, plate-shaped second part 110 is aligned with the first part 100 as in the first embodiment. As shown in Fig. 7 and Fig. As shown in Figure 8, the first part 100 has an upwardly projecting projection 101 and a screw hole 105 to which a screw for fastening the second part 110 to the first part 100 is fastened. The projection 101 is formed as a triangular prism. To make it easier for the projection 101 to pass through the receiving hole 111, the upper portion of the projection 101 has a tapered shape that becomes thinner toward the tip. The second part 110 has a triangular receiving hole 111 for receiving the projection 101 and a through hole 115 through which a screw for fastening the second part 110 to the first part 100 is passed. The center position C of the second part 110 corresponds to the position of the width center and the length center of the second part 110.

[0038] As in the first embodiment, the inner diameter of the receiving hole 111 is larger than the outer diameter of the projection 101, and the maximum value (maximum inner diameter) and the minimum value (minimum inner diameter) can be calculated using the same method as in the first embodiment.

[0039] The receiving hole 111 is preferably located on the axis of symmetry of the second part 110 or at a position other than the center position of the second part 110. Specifically, the receiving hole 111 is located at a position on the Xc2 axis that passes through the center position C2 of the second part 110 and is parallel to the short side of the second part 110, a position on the Yc2 axis that passes through the center position C2 of the second part 110 and is parallel to the long side of the second part, and a position other than the center position C2 of the second part 110.Therefore, when the second part 110 is aligned with the first part 100 to align the through hole 115 of the second part 110 with the screw hole 105 of the first part 100, if the second part 110 is in an incorrect orientation, for example, upside down or front to back, the receiving hole 111 of the second part 110 cannot be inserted into the projection 101 of the first part 100, and the projection 101 of the first part 100 may interfere with the second part 110.

[0040] Since the number of protrusions provided on the first part 100 is one, the second part 110 may be attached to the first part 100 in an incorrect orientation. However, even if the second part 110 is attached to the first part 100 in an incorrect orientation, such as upside down or front to back, the second part 110 is obviously misaligned with respect to the first part 100, and the through hole 115 of the second part 110 is not aligned with the screw hole 105 of the first part 100. Since the worker can easily recognize that the second part 110 is aligned in an incorrect orientation, a situation in which the second part 110 is attached to the first part 100 in an incorrect orientation can be avoided.

[0041] The motor drive device 2 according to the second embodiment has the same effects as the motor drive device 1 according to the first embodiment. Furthermore, the motor drive device 2 according to the second embodiment includes one set of the protrusion 101 and the receiving hole 111 constituting the alignment structure. On the other hand, the motor drive device 1 according to the first embodiment includes two sets of the protrusion 11 and the receiving hole 31 constituting the alignment structure. Therefore, the second embodiment is superior to the first embodiment in terms of narrowing the space for providing the alignment structure. On the other hand, from the viewpoint of the durability of the alignment structure, particularly the resistance to the load that the protrusion 11, 101 receives from the substrate 30 during the alignment operation, the first embodiment is superior to the second embodiment with one protrusion 101 because the load can be distributed between the two protrusions 11.

[0042] In the first and second embodiments, the alignment structure consists of a protrusion and a receiving hole, and the protrusion and the receiving hole are respectively provided in the two parts to be aligned. However, the configuration of the alignment structure is not limited to this. For example, from the perspective of aligning two parts without using an alignment device, only one of the two parts to be aligned may be configured to have an alignment structure.

[0043] A motor driving device according to a third embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 9 and Fig. 10. As described in Fig. As shown in Figure 9, a motor drive device 3 according to the third embodiment includes a first part 120 having a plate shape and a second part 130 having a rectangular shape in plan view. The second part 130 is aligned with respect to the first part 120 and fixed by a screw 20. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 9, the first part 120 has a plurality of, here four, protrusions 121 as an alignment structure for aligning the second part 130 with respect to the first part 120. Typically, the protrusion 121 is formed as a cylindrical body. The four protrusions 121 are arranged on the surface of the first part 120 with which the second part 130 comes into contact, at positions that satisfy the alignment conditions.

[0044] Hereinafter, the arrangement conditions of the four projections 121 will be described with reference to Fig. 10. Note that the outer periphery of the contact surface of the second part 130 that comes into contact with the first part 120 is designated by reference numeral 130, and the center position of the second part 130, which is the width center and the length center of the second part 130, is designated by reference numeral C3. Furthermore, an axis passing through the center position C3 and parallel to the long side of the contact surface of the second part 130 is designated by reference numeral Xc3, and an axis passing through the center position C3 and parallel to the short side of the contact surface of the second part 130 is designated by reference numeral Yc3.

[0045] Arrangement condition 1: The four projections 121 are arranged along the outer periphery 130a of the contact surface of the second part 130, which comes into contact with the first part 120.

[0046] Arrangement condition 2: The four projections 121 are arranged on the four sides of the outer periphery 130a of the contact surface of the second part 130, which comes into contact with the first part 120.

[0047] Arrangement Condition 3: At least two projections 121 are arranged in at least one of four sections defined by an axis Xc3 passing through the center position C3 and parallel to the long side of the contact surface of the second part 130, and an axis Yc3 passing through the center position C3 and parallel to the short side of the contact surface of the second part 130. Note that in Fig. 10 two projections 121 are arranged in two of the four sections.

[0048] By arranging the four protrusions 121 at positions satisfying arrangement condition 1, the second part 130 is fitted into the frame defined by the four protrusions 121 of the first part 120, thereby defining the position of the second part 130 relative to the first part 120. Furthermore, by arranging the four protrusions 121 at positions satisfying arrangement conditions 1 and 2, the movement of the aligned second part 130 along the Xc3 axis and the Yc3 axis can be locked. Furthermore, by arranging the four protrusions 121 at positions satisfying arrangement conditions 1, 2, and 3, the rotation of the aligned second part 130 about the axis orthogonal to the surface of the first part 120 can be locked.

[0049] According to the motor drive device 3 of the third embodiment, the second part 130 can be aligned with respect to the first part 120 without using an alignment jig, and the second part 130 can be fixed to the first part 120 by inserting and fixing the screw 20 into the screw hole 125 of the first part 120 and the through hole 135 of the second part 130.

[0050] In the third embodiment, the first part 120, which is one of the two parts to be aligned, has a plurality of protrusions 121 as an alignment structure. However, the alignment structure of one of the two parts to be aligned is not limited to a plurality of protrusions.

[0051] A motor driving device 4 according to a fourth embodiment will be described below with reference to Fig. 11. As described in Fig. As shown in Figure 11, the motor drive device 4 according to the fourth embodiment includes a first part 140 having a plate shape and a second part 150 having a rectangular shape in plan view. The second part 150 is aligned with respect to the first part 140 and fixed by a screw 20. As shown in Fig. As shown in Figure 11, the first part 140 includes a recess 141 for receiving the second part 150 as an alignment structure for aligning the second part 150 with respect to the first part 140. The recess 141 has an inner peripheral surface shape that matches the outer peripheral surface shape of the contact surface of the second part 150 that comes into contact with the first part 140.
