[0001] The present invention relates to a terminal-equipped electrical wiring housing unit. background

[0002] Heretofore, a terminal-equipped electric wire in which a terminal is physically and electrically connected to one end of an electric wire is known. In the terminal-equipped electric wire, the terminal may be housed in a casing tool to protect the terminal and prevent a worker or the like from coming into contact with the terminal. [0003] Patent document 1: JP 2006- 269 104 A SummaryTechnical problem

[0004] Incidentally, in the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit, the terminal is physically and electrically connected to one electrical connection target, and the electric wire is physically and electrically connected to the other electrical connection target. Therefore, in the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit, the electric wire is pulled out from an electric wire outlet to the outside of the housing die, and the pulled-out electric wire is laid, and the laid-out end of the electric wire is physically and electrically connected to the other electrical connection target. Moreover, in a case where a laying path of the pulled-out electric wire is long, the electric wire is fixed to another component around the electric wire, for example, with a clamp or the like. Therefore, in the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit, since a pull-out amount of the electric wire from the electric wire outlet is determined and it is necessary to keep the pull-out amount of the electric wire within a tolerance fluctuation range, it is checked whether the pull-out amount of the electric wire is within a predetermined range or not before the electric wire is mounted to the electrical connection destination.

[0005] Here, in the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit, when relative displacement occurs between an electrical connection target to which the terminal fitting is attached and a mounting member to which the housing tool is attached, it is necessary to allow the relative displacement between the terminal fitting and the housing tool to compensate for the displacement. However, since the displacement is allowed in the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit, the terminal-equipped electric wire may be moved to various positions in the housing tool before the terminal fitting and an electrical connection target are attached and the housing tool and the mounting member are attached, and it is difficult to determine whether the amount of withdrawal of the electric wire from the electric wire outlet is within a predetermined range or not.

[0006] Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit capable of improving inspection accuracy for a pull-out amount of an electric wire. Solution to the problem

[0007] The present invention relates to a terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit, comprising: a terminal-equipped electric wire, which is an electrical connection member for electrical connection to an electrical connection target, configured to reciprocate relatively in a reciprocating direction with respect to a mounting member, and in which an electric wire connecting portion of a terminal is physically and electrically connected to one end of an electric wire; and a housing tool including a fixing portion fixed to the mounting member to prevent relative displacement, a housing chamber in which the end of the electric wire and the terminal are housed, and an electric wire outlet, which is an opening through which the electric wire is drawn out of the housing chamber.and by which the electric wire is pulled out in an electric wire withdrawal direction that intersects the reciprocating movement direction in a state in which the fastening portion is fastened to the mounting member, wherein the terminal includes an electrical connection portion that protrudes in a direction that intersects the electric wire withdrawal direction and is physically and electrically connected to the electrical connection target to prevent relative displacement, the casing tool includes a locking projection that is a projection that protrudes from a wall facing the terminal toward the terminal and comes into contact with the terminal and locks it in a predetermined position when the terminal-equipped electric wire is rotated so that the terminal approaches the facing wall with a virtual axis in the casing chamber, whose axial direction is the reciprocating direction as a rotation axis, and the locking projection extends in the reciprocating direction to lock the connector in the housing chamber regardless of a relative moving position of the connector in the reciprocating direction. Advantageous effects of the invention

[0008] The terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit according to the present invention can improve the inspection accuracy for the pull-out amount of the electric wire by mounting the terminal-equipped electric wire at the predetermined position in the housing chamber regardless of the relative moving position of the terminal piece in the reciprocating direction in the housing chamber. [0009] Hereinafter, an embodiment of a terminal-equipped electrical wiring housing unit according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the embodiment. [Embodiment]

[0010] In the following, an embodiment of the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit according to the present invention will be described with reference to Fig. 1 to 9 described.

[0011] The reference number 1 in Fig. 1 denotes a terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit according to the present embodiment. The terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit 1 comprises an electric wire 10 with a terminal and a housing tool 20 ( Fig. 1 to 15), and the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 and the housing tool 20 are mounted at different connection targets. Here, the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 is mounted in a state where it is physically and electrically connected to an electrical connection target 510E, and the housing tool 20 is mounted on a mounting member 520E ( Fig. 1).

[0012] In the example of the present embodiment, the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit 1 is mounted on a battery pack 500 mounted on a vehicle, e.g., an electric vehicle ( Fig. 1).

[0013] The battery pack 500 includes a plurality of battery cells 510 arranged in a row ( Fig. 1). The battery cell 510 shown here comprises a rectangular cell body 510a and positive and negative electrode terminals (so-called cylindrically shaped poles) 510b provided on a wall surface of the cell body 510a ( Fig. 1).

[0014] In addition, the battery pack 500 includes flat plates 520 that enclose each battery cell 510 in a direction in which the plurality of battery cells 510 are arranged (hereinafter referred to as “cell arrangement direction”) ( Fig. 1). In the battery pack 500, each flat plate 520 (not shown) disposed between the battery cells 510 serves as a partition plate, and the flat plates 520 sandwiching both ends of the plurality of battery cells 510 in the cell arrangement direction serve as terminal plates. In the drawings, plate thickness and the like are not considered for the sake of simplicity of explanation.

[0015] In the battery pack 500, the battery cells 510 are subject to thermal expansion or thermal contraction when the vehicle is running or the like, and a distance (hereinafter referred to as “inter-electrode distance”) P ( Fig. 2) between the electrode terminals 510b in adjacent battery cells 510 changes in the cell arrangement direction. Accordingly, in the battery pack 500, the distance between the electrode terminal 510b and the flat plate 520 also changes in the cell arrangement direction. That is, in the battery pack 500, the electrode terminal 510b can reciprocate relatively in the cell arrangement direction with respect to the flat plate 520, and the cell arrangement direction is a reciprocating direction between the electrode terminal 510b and the flat plate 520. Hereinafter, the reciprocating direction between the electrode terminal 510b and the flat plate 520 is simply referred to as the "reciprocating direction" unless otherwise specified.

[0016] In this example, the electrode terminal 510b (one of two electrode terminals 510b) of the battery cell 510 arranged at one end in the cell arrangement direction among the plurality of battery cells 510 is defined as the electrical connection target 510E, and the flat plate 520 serving as the terminal plate arranged side by side with the battery cell 510 arranged at the one end is defined as the mounting member 520E ( Fig. 1 and Fig. 2). Therefore, in this example, the electrical connection target 510E can reciprocate relatively in the reciprocating direction (cell arrangement direction) with respect to the mounting member 520E.

[0017] The terminal-equipped electric wire 10 is an electrical connection component for electrically connecting to the electrical connection target 510E. The terminal-equipped electric wire 10 is arranged adjacent to the one-end battery cell 510 in the reciprocating direction (cell arrangement direction) with respect to the mounting member 520E (the flat plate 520 serving as a terminal plate). Therefore, the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 is connected to the electrode terminal 510b (electrical connection target 510E) of the one-end battery cell 510 via the mounting member 520E.

[0018] The electrical cable 10 provided with a connection comprises an electrical cable 30 and a connection piece 40 ( Fig. 1 to 4, 14 and 15). In the terminal-equipped electrical line 10, the connector 40 is physically and electrically connected to one end of the electrical line 30.

[0019] The electric cable 30 consists of a core wire 31 and a sheath 32 which covers the core wire 31 ( Fig. 1 and Fig. 2). For the electrical cable 30, the sheath 32 is peeled off at the end to expose the core wire 31.

[0020] The terminal 40 is press-fitted using a metal plate as the base material. The mounting portion 40 includes an electric wire connecting portion 41 that is physically and electrically connected to the electric wire 30, and an electrical connecting portion 42 that is physically and electrically connected to the electrical connection target 510E (electrode terminal 510b) ( Fig. 4, Fig. 14 and Fig. 15).

[0021] The electric wire connecting portion 41 is physically and electrically connected to the end of the electric wire 30 to prevent relative displacement. The electric wire connecting portion 41 shown here is formed by caulking and crimping a pair of sleeve pieces with the core wire 31 exposed at the end of the electric wire 30. The end of the electric wire 30 is pulled out from the electric wire connecting portion 41 in its own axial direction (hereinafter referred to as the "electric wire pulling-out direction").

[0022] The electrical connection portion 42 protrudes in a direction intersecting the electrical wire extension direction and is physically and electrically connected to the electrical connection target 510E to prevent relative displacement. The electrical connection portion 42 shown here is a single body having a through-hole 42a through which a male screw portion of the electrical connection target 510E (electrode terminal 510b) is inserted ( Fig. 1, Fig. 14 and Fig. 15), and a female screw member (not shown) is screwed to the male screw portion to be screwed and fixed to the electrical connection target 510E (electrode terminal 510b).

[0023] The terminal fitting 40 includes an opposing portion 43 that protrudes from the electric wire connecting portion 41 in the electric wire extension direction and is arranged to face the electric wire 30, and a coupling portion 44 that rises from the opposing portion 43 so as to extend over the mounting member 520E (the flat plate 520 serving as a terminal plate) and from which the electrical connection portion 42 protrudes in a direction intersecting the electric wire extension direction at a rising end of the coupling portion 44 ( Fig. 4, Fig. 14 and Fig. 15).

[0024] The opposite section 43 comprises a piece section 43a having a piece body shape ( Fig. 6 and Fig. 7). The piece section 43a shown here is formed as a trapezoidal piece body with an upper base and a lower base in the electric line extension direction. A wall surface 43b of the piece section 43a facing the electric line 30 is a plane that runs parallel to the electric line extension direction and intersects the reciprocating movement direction ( Fig. 14).

[0025] The coupling portion 44 is in the shape of a rectangular piece body that rises from the lower base of the piece portion 43a in a direction orthogonal to the reciprocating direction. The electrical connection portion 42 protrudes in the reciprocating direction at the rising end of the coupling portion 44 (that is, from one side of an end portion of the coupling portion 44 in a rising direction). A protruding end portion of the electrical connection portion 42 is physically and electrically connected to the electrical connection target 510E (electrode terminal 510b). Hereinafter, the rising direction of the coupling portion 44 from the facing portion 43 is simply referred to as the "rising direction" when necessary.

[0026] The housing tool 20 is a tool for receiving the terminal-equipped electric wire 30 and the connector 40 in the terminal-equipped electric wire 10. The housing tool 20 is made of an insulating material such as a synthetic resin.

[0027] The housing tool 20 includes a fixing portion 21 which is fixed to the mounting member 520E (the flat plate 520 as a connecting plate) to prevent relative displacement ( Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 14, and Fig. 15). The fastening section 21 shown here has a through hole 21a through which the male screw element (not shown) is inserted ( Fig. 1, Fig. 14 and Fig. 15), and the female screw member (not shown) is screwed to the male screw member to be screwed and fixed to the mounting member 520E (the flat plate 520 as the connecting plate). A metal collar member 21b is inserted into the through hole 21a.

[0028] In addition, the housing tool 20 includes a housing chamber 22 in which the end of the electric wire 30 and the terminal 40 are accommodated, and an electric wire outlet 23 which is an opening through which the electric wire 30 is pulled out of the housing chamber 22 to the outside and from which the electric wire 30 is pulled out in the electric wire pulling direction intersecting the reciprocating direction in a state in which the fixing portion 21 is fixed to the mounting member 520E ( Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 4, Fig. 14, and Fig. 15).

[0029] Furthermore, the housing tool 20 has a terminal outlet 24 through which the electrical connection portion 42 of the terminal piece 40 projects in the reciprocating direction to the outside of the housing chamber 22 ( Fig. 3 and Fig. 11). The terminal outlet 24 is open toward the electrical connection target 510E (electrode terminal 510b) in the reciprocating direction. The electrical connection portion 42 is physically and electrically connected to the electrical connection target 510E (electrode terminal 510b) at a protrusion end portion extending from the terminal outlet 24 to the outside of the housing chamber 22.

[0030] Furthermore, the housing tool 20 comprises a locking projection 26, which is a projection that projects from a facing wall 25 facing the terminal 40 toward the terminal 40 and comes into contact with the terminal 40 and locks it in a certain position when the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 is rotated so that the terminal 40 approaches the facing wall 25 with a virtual axis in the housing chamber 22, the axial direction of which is the reciprocating direction as the rotation axis ( Fig. 4 to 7).

[0031] Here, the set position is an inspection position for the inspection performed before fastening the fastening member 21 to the mounting member 520E (the flat plate 520 serving as a terminal plate) and connecting the electrical connection portion 42 to the electrical connection target 510E (the electrode terminal 510b), and is an electric wire extension amount inspection position at which an extension amount of the electric wire 30 from the electric wire outlet 23 is inspected. Therefore, when the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 is rotated around the virtual axis so that the terminal fitting 40 approaches the facing wall 25, the locking projection 26 comes into contact with the terminal fitting 40 and locks it at the electric wire extension amount inspection position. When the terminal fitting 40 is positioned in the electric wire extension amount inspection position in the housing chamber 22, a worker or the like measures the extension amount of the electric wire 30 from the electric wire outlet 23 and determines whether or not the extension amount is within a specified tolerance variation range. The worker or the like determines that the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit 1 is a non-defective product when the extension amount of the electric wire 30 is within the specified tolerance variation range, and determines that the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit 1 is a defective product when the extension amount of the electric wire 30 is outside the specified tolerance variation range. As described above, in the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit 1, the inspection accuracy for the pull-out amount of the electric wire 30 can be improved by stopping the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 at the predetermined position in the housing chamber 22.

[0032] In particular, as in Fig. 4 and Fig. 6, in the housing tool 20, the facing walls 25 are provided at two positions (facing walls 25A and 25B), and the locking projection 26 is provided for each of the facing walls 25 at the two positions (locking projections 26A and 26B).

[0033] A facing wall 25A is arranged in the rising direction of the coupling portion 44 from the facing portion 43 with respect to the electric wire connecting portion 41 of the terminal piece 40 ( Fig. 4 and Fig. 5). Then, a locking projection 26A is a projection that projects from the one facing wall 25A toward the electric wire connecting portion 41 and comes into contact with the electric wire connecting portion 41 and locks it in a predetermined position when the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 is rotated about the virtual axis so that the electric wire connecting portion 41 approaches the one facing wall 25A ( Fig. 5). In the drawing, the electrical cable 10 provided with a terminal is rotated relatively clockwise in the housing chamber 22 (hereinafter referred to as the "first direction of rotation").

[0034] The other facing wall 25B is arranged on a side opposite to the rising direction of the coupling portion 44 from the facing portion 43 with respect to the facing portion 43 ( Fig. 6 and Fig. 7). Then, the other locking projection 26B is a projection that projects from the other facing wall 25B toward the facing portion 43 and comes into contact with the facing portion 43 and locks it in a predetermined position when the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 is rotated about the virtual axis so that the facing portion 43 approaches the other facing wall 25B ( Fig. 7). In the drawing, the electrical cable 10 provided with a terminal is rotated relatively counterclockwise in the housing chamber 22 (hereinafter referred to as the "second rotation direction").

[0035] In the concrete example, when the electrical cable 10 provided with a terminal is relatively rotated in the first direction of rotation in the housing chamber 22, the connecting piece 40 is locked in a fixed position at yet another position in the housing tool 20 ( Fig. 8, Fig. 9, Fig. 11 and Fig. 12).

[0036] The housing tool 20 comprises a first locking portion (hereinafter referred to as “first locking portion in the first rotational direction”) 27A ( Fig. 9) which comes into contact with and locks an end portion of the coupling portion 44 in a direction orthogonal to the reciprocating direction and the rising direction at a predetermined position, and a second locking portion (hereinafter referred to as "second locking portion in the first rotation direction") 27B ( Fig. 12), which is part of a peripheral edge section 28 ( Fig. 2, 3 and 11 to 13) of the terminal outlet 24 and comes into contact with the electrical connection portion 42 and locks it in a certain position. That is, in the terminal-equipped electrical wire housing unit 1 shown here, relative rotation of the terminal-equipped electrical wire 10 in the first rotational direction in the housing chamber 22 is locked between the electrical wire connection portion 41 and the one locking projection 26A and between the electrical connection portion 42 and the second locking portion 27B in the first rotational direction, and relative movement of the terminal-equipped electrical wire 10 in the electrical wire extension direction in the housing chamber 22 is locked between the coupling portion 44 and the first locking portion 27A in the first rotational direction. As a result, in the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit 1, the relative movement of the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 in the first rotational direction in the housing chamber 22 can be effectively stopped at a predetermined position, so that the inspection accuracy for the pull-out amount of the electric wire 30 can be further improved.

[0037] The first locking portion 27A in the first rotation direction locks one of the two end portions (respective side portions) 44a and 44b of the coupling portion 44 in a direction orthogonal to the reciprocating direction and the rising direction. For example, here, the first locking portion 27A in the first rotation direction locks one end portion 44a ( Fig. 9).

[0038] Furthermore, in the specific example, when the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 is relatively rotated in the housing chamber 22 in the second rotational direction, the terminal piece 40 is locked at a specific position at yet another location in the housing tool 20 ( Fig. 8, Fig. 10, Fig. 11 and Fig. 13).

[0039] The housing tool 20 includes a first locking portion (hereinafter referred to as “first locking portion in the second rotation direction”) 27C ( Fig. 10) which comes into contact with and locks the end portion of the coupling portion 44 in a direction orthogonal to the reciprocating direction and the rising direction in a predetermined position, and a second locking portion (hereinafter referred to as “second locking portion in the second rotation direction”) 27D ( Fig. 13), which is a part of the peripheral edge section 28 ( Fig. 2, 3, and 11 to 13) of the terminal outlet 24 and comes into contact with the electrical connection portion 42 and locks it in a fixed position. That is, in the terminal-equipped electrical wire housing unit 1 shown here, relative rotation of the terminal-equipped electrical wire 10 in the second rotational direction in the housing chamber 22 is locked between the electrical wire connection portion 41 and the other locking projection 26B and between the electrical connection portion 42 and the second locking portion 27D in the second rotational direction, and relative movement of the terminal-equipped electrical wire 10 in the electrical wire extension direction in the housing chamber 22 is locked between the coupling portion 44 and the first locking portion 27C in the second rotational direction. As a result, in the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit 1, the relative movement of the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 in the second rotation direction in the housing chamber 22 can be effectively stopped at a predetermined position, so that the inspection accuracy for the pull-out amount of the electric wire 30 can be further improved.

[0040] The first locking portion 27C in the second rotational direction locks one of the two end portions (respective side portions) 44a and 44b of the coupling portion 44. For example, here, the first locking portion 27C in the second rotational direction locks the one end portion 44a ( Fig. 10).

[0041] The housing tool 20 comprises a first housing element 50 and a second housing element 60, which are connected to each other ( Fig. 1 to 15).

[0042] The first housing member 50 includes a bottom wall 51 and a peripheral wall 52 constructed from a peripheral edge portion of the bottom wall 51 ( Fig. 1 to 4, 14 and 15). In the first housing element 50, a space surrounded by the bottom wall 51 and the peripheral wall 52 is used as a first housing space 22a in which the end of the electric wire 30 and the terminal piece 40 are accommodated ( Fig. 4, Fig. 14 and Fig. 15). In addition, the first housing member 50 has an opening 53 which is open in a direction orthogonal to the reciprocating direction and is arranged to face the bottom wall 51 in the orthogonal direction ( Fig. 15). The opening 53 is an opening formed within a front edge portion 52a of an end portion of the peripheral wall 52 in the upward direction. In the first housing member 50, the end of the electric wire 30 and the terminal fitting 40 are inserted into the first housing space 22a through the opening 53. Here, a direction in which the bottom wall 51 and the opening 53 are opposed to each other is a direction in which the end of the electric wire 30 and the terminal fitting 40 are inserted through the opening 53.

[0043] The second housing member 60 includes a bottom wall 61 and a peripheral wall 62 erected from a peripheral edge portion of the bottom wall 61 ( Fig. 3, Fig. 4, Fig. 14 and 15). In the second housing element 60, a space surrounded by the bottom wall 61 and the peripheral wall 62 is used as a second housing space 22b in which the end of the electric wire 30 and the terminal piece 40 are accommodated ( Fig. 4, Fig. 14 and Fig. 15). In addition, the second housing member 60 has an opening 63 which is open in a direction orthogonal to the reciprocating direction and is arranged to face the bottom wall 61 in the orthogonal direction ( Fig. 14). The opening 63 is an opening formed upwardly within a front edge portion 62a of an end portion of the peripheral wall 62. In the second housing member 60, the end of the electric wire 30 and the terminal fitting 40 are inserted into the second housing space 22b through the opening 63. Here, a direction in which the bottom wall 61 and the opening 63 are opposed to each other is a direction in which the end of the electric wire 30 and the terminal fitting 40 are inserted through the opening 63.

[0044] The assembly of the first housing element 50 and the second housing element 60 is carried out by plugging the peripheral edge portions 52a and 62a of the openings 53 and 63, respectively. In the housing tool 20, the housing chamber 22 is formed by the first housing space 22a of the first housing element 50 and the second housing space 22b of the second housing element 60 in the assembled state.

[0045] The electrical line outlet 23 shown here is formed by a first notch 23a of the first housing element 50 and a second notch 23b of the second housing element 60 in the assembled state ( Fig. 2 and Fig. 4). In the peripheral wall 52 of the first housing member 50, the first notch 23a is formed from the opening 53 (side of the peripheral edge portion 52a) to the bottom wall 51. In the peripheral wall 62 of the second housing member 60, the second recess 23b is formed from the opening 63 (side of the peripheral edge portion 62a) to the bottom wall 61.

[0046] Here, the first housing member 50 includes a mounting portion communicating with the first housing space 22a and projecting from the bottom wall 51 to a side opposite the opening 53, and the mounting portion is used as a third housing space 22c in which the terminal piece 40 is housed ( Fig. 15). The third housing space 22c accommodates one side of the electrical connection portion 42 of the coupling portion 44 and one side of the coupling portion 44 of the electrical connection portion 42. Therefore, the housing chamber 22 shown here is formed by the first housing space 22a and the third housing space 22c of the first housing element 50 in the assembled state and the second housing space 22b of the second housing element 60.

[0047] The second housing element 60 includes a cover wall portion 64 arranged to face the coupling portion 44 in the third housing chamber 22c and covering an opening 54 arranged to face a wall surface of the coupling portion 44 in the third housing chamber 22c ( Fig. 3, Fig. 11, Fig. 14 and Fig. 15). The opening 54 is a notch portion formed by cutting out a part of a peripheral wall 52x ( Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 4, Fig. 8, Fig. 11, Fig. 14 and Fig. 15) forming the third housing chamber 22c is obtained in the rising direction from the peripheral edge portion 52a. The notch portion (opening) 54 in the rising direction is formed along an insertion direction of the electrical connection portion 42 when the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 is inserted through the opening 53. The terminal outlet 24, through which the electrical connection portion 42 is drawn out to the outside of the housing chamber 22, is formed between the notch portion (opening) 54 and the cover wall portion 64 ( Fig. 3 and Fig. 11).

[0048] The one facing wall 25A and the one locking projection 26A are in the first housing element 50 ( Fig. 4 to 7). In the first housing member 50, the bottom wall 51 serves as the one facing wall 25A, and the one locking projection 26A projects from the bottom wall 51.

[0049] Furthermore, the first locking portion 27A is provided in the first rotational direction in the first housing element 50 ( Fig. 9). In the first housing member 50, a part of the peripheral wall 52x forming the third housing chamber 22c is used as the first locking portion 27A in the first rotation direction.

[0050] The second locking portion 27B in the first rotational direction is in the second housing element 60 ( Fig. 12). In the second housing member 60, a part of an end portion of the cover wall portion 64, which forms the peripheral edge portion 28 of the connection outlet 24, is used as the second locking portion 27B in the first rotational direction.

[0051] The other facing wall 25B and the other locking projection 26B are in the second housing element 60 ( Fig. 4 to 7). In the second housing member 60, the bottom wall 61 serves as the other facing wall 25B, and the other locking projection 26B projects from the bottom wall 61.

[0052] The first locking portion 27C in the second rotation direction and the second locking portion 27D in the second rotation direction are provided in the first housing element 50 ( Fig. 10 and Fig. 13). In the first housing member 50, a part of the peripheral wall 52x forming the third housing chamber 22c is used as the first locking portion 27C in the second rotation direction ( Fig. 10). Furthermore, in the first housing element 50, a part of a portion of a bottom wall 51x ( Fig. 1 to 4), which forms the third housing chamber 22c and forms the peripheral edge portion 28 of the end outlet 24 in the lower wall 51x, as the second locking portion 27D in the second rotational direction ( Fig. 13) is used.

[0053] The first housing element 50 and the second housing element 60 are held in the assembled state by locking mechanisms 29 at a plurality of positions (here three locations) ( Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 14 and Fig. 15). In the locking mechanism 29, a first engaging portion 29a provided in the first housing member 50 is engaged with a second engaging portion 29b provided in the second housing member 60 to maintain the assembled state in a state where the first housing member 50 and the second housing member 60 are assembled ( Fig. 3, Fig. 14 and Fig. 15). Here, the first engagement portion 29a is formed in the shape of a claw. The second engagement portion 29b is formed as a flexible piece portion that is bent to allow the first engagement portion 29a to be positioned over the second engagement portion 29b. In the locking mechanism 29, the first engagement portion 29a is hooked to the second engagement portion 29b in a state where the first housing member 50 and the second housing member 60 are assembled, thereby maintaining the assembled state.

[0054] In the housing tool 20, the housing space 22 has an internal shape in which the terminal fitting 40 can be relatively moved within a range of reciprocation of the electrical connection target 510E (electrode terminal 510b) with respect to the mounting member 520E (the flat plate 520 serving as a terminal plate). The first housing space 22a and the second housing space 22b are formed in an internal shape with a size that allows relative movement of the electrical wire connecting portion 41, the opposing portion 43, and a side of the connecting portion 44 within the range of reciprocation. The third housing space 22c has an internal shape with a size that allows relative movement between the coupling portion 44 side of the electrical connection portion 42 and the electrical connection portion 42 side of the coupling portion 44 within the range of reciprocation. In the terminal fitting 40, as the electrical connection target 510E (electrode terminal 510b) reciprocates with respect to the mounting member 520E (the flat plate 520 serving as a terminal plate), a part of the electrical connection portion 42 is drawn into and out of the terminal outlet 24.

[0055] As described above, in the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit 1, a size of an internal space of the housing chamber 22 is larger than a size of the terminal piece 40. Therefore, the locking projection 26 extends in the reciprocating direction to lock the terminal piece 40 regardless of a relative moving position of the terminal piece 40 in the reciprocating direction in the housing chamber 22 ( Fig. 14 and Fig. 15). For example, a projection 26A extends in the reciprocating direction to lock the electric wire connecting portion 41 in the housing chamber 22 regardless of the relative moving position of the electric wire connecting portion 41 in the reciprocating direction ( Fig. 15). Further, the other locking projection 26B extends in the reciprocating direction to lock the facing portion 43 regardless of a relative moving position of the facing portion 43 in the reciprocating direction in the housing chamber 22 ( Fig.14). Therefore, in the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit 1, the terminal-equipped electric wire 10 can be stopped at a fixed position in the housing chamber 22 regardless of the relative movement position of the terminal fitting 40 in the reciprocating direction in the housing chamber 22. Therefore, the terminal-equipped electric wire housing unit 1 can improve the inspection accuracy for the pull-out amount of the electric wire 30 regardless of the relative movement position of the terminal fitting 40.
