Electrically driven compressor and method for manufacturing it

Abstract

An electrically driven compressor is provided for which high dimensional accuracy regarding the arrangement and shape of a busbar assembly is not required, and a gap between a partition and the busbar assembly can be easily and adequately sealed. A motor 5 and an inverter 31 are electrically connected by terminals 44 of three phases that pass through the partition 16. A busbar assembly 32, located on the side of the motor chamber 18, has terminals 33 of three phases and a plastic section 34. A through-hole 17 is formed in the partition 16, with the terminals 33 of three phases protruding from the plastic section 34, passing through the through-hole 17, and their ends being exposed in an inverter chamber 19.On the plastic section 34, a recessed retention section 38 is formed on the part where the connections 33 of three phases protrude, and a gap between the partition wall 16 and the plastic section 34 is sealed on the part of the through-hole 17 by means of a sealant 42 injected into the retention section 38.
