Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a sliding door system according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] Such sliding door systems are used, for example, for patio glazing. When moving into the closed position, the front edge of a sliding door panel is inserted into the cavity of the frame element. This eliminates a gap between the frame element and the door panel when the door panel is closed, creating a relatively windproof closed position.
[0003] The guide rails of such door leaves are either designed as a floor rail on the floor side or the door leaf is suspended in a guide rail arranged at the top.
[0004] Particularly when the door leaf is made of glass, it is difficult to create an aesthetically pleasing locking device with which the door leaf can be locked, for example to prevent the door leaf from being opened from the outside. Known solutions for multi-leaf sliding door systems involve locking the door leaves against each other, with the locking mechanism usually being implemented in a track profile that interacts with the track. The locking device is thus located either at the bottom or in the upper region of the door leaf, making operation relatively complex. DE 20 2016 000 240 U1 discloses a sliding door according to the preamble of claim 1, in which a locking device is arranged on the door leaf and interacts with a bolt receptacle in the frame.
[0005] In addition, the locking mechanism is visible to the observer when the door leaves are in the closed position, so that the locking device can be aesthetically disturbing to the observer.
[0006] It is therefore the object of the present invention to further develop the known sliding door system in such a way that an aesthetically pleasing locking device is created which can be operated with as little effort as possible.
[0007] The invention is defined by the features of claim 1.
[0008] The sliding door system according to the invention has at least one door leaf with a guide device and a track, wherein the door leaf is guided via the guide device through the track in a running direction. A vertically arranged frame element partially surrounds a cavity, wherein the frame element has an opening to the cavity in the direction of the door leaf. In a closed position, the door leaf extends through the opening partially into the cavity. The invention is characterized in that a locking device with a locking device having a bolt is arranged in the cavity of the frame element and a bolt receptacle is arranged on the door leaf, wherein in the closed position of the door leaf, the bolt engages in the bolt receptacle in a locking position to lock the door leaf.
[0009] The invention thus provides for the locking device to be arranged in the frame element, largely concealed from the viewer. This ensures that the locking device is not aesthetically disturbing to the viewer. Unlike previously known sliding door systems, which provide for the locking of multiple door leaves against each other, the present invention can also be used for a sliding door system with only one door leaf, since the door leaf is locked to the frame element.
[0010] The bolt receptacle is preferably arranged on the front side of the door leaf in the running direction of the door leaf and projects beyond the front side of the door leaf.
[0011] In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the latch receptacle is arranged on a front face of the door leaf facing forward in the running direction and protrudes toward the frame element. This allows for a simple construction of the sliding door system, since the latch receptacle is relatively freely accessible for interaction with the latch.
[0012] Preferably, the bolt is movable in a vertical direction from the locking position to an unlocking position, wherein the bolt receptacle has a bolt receptacle opening that is directed at least upwards or downwards. In other words, the bolt is movable in a vertical direction and engages the bolt receptacle from above or below. This allows the lock device and the bolt receptacle to be designed relatively compactly, so that the size of the frame element can be kept relatively small.
[0013] The locking device preferably has a spring device that preloads the bolt toward the locking position. As a result, the bolt can only be unlocked against the spring force of the spring device, preventing unintentional unlocking of the locking device.
[0014] The bolt can be provided with an inclined insertion surface facing toward the door leaf. When the bolt is arranged in the locking position, the bolt receptacle can push the bolt toward its unlocking position by means of the insertion surface, so that the door leaf can be moved completely into the closed position even when the bolt is in the locking position. If the locking device is designed with a spring device that preloads the bolt, the inclined insertion surface also enables the bolt to snap into the bolt receptacle.
[0015] Preferably, the locking device comprises an actuating device having a traction mechanism connected to the bolt, wherein the traction mechanism is arranged in the cavity of the frame element. The actuating device, which has a traction mechanism, enables actuation of the bolt at any height of the frame element, so that convenient actuation of the locking device is also possible when it is arranged in an upper or lower section of the frame element. Furthermore, by arranging the traction mechanism in the frame element, the traction mechanism is largely concealed from the observer.
[0016] Preferably, the traction means is designed as a cable pull. This allows the actuating device to be provided in a structurally simple manner.
[0017] It can be provided that the actuating device penetrates the frame element toward an actuating side, wherein the actuating device has an actuating device that is fastened to the traction means, wherein the actuating device is arranged at least partially outside the frame element. The actuating device can, for example, be a handle knob. The user of the sliding door system can advantageously operate the actuating device and thus the locking device via the actuating device. Because the actuating device penetrates the frame element toward an actuating side, the actuation of the actuating device and thus the locking device from the actuating side is possible in a convenient manner.
[0018] If the locking device is designed with a spring device that pre-tensions the bolt in the direction of the locking position, the spring device also ensures that the dead weight of the actuating device or the actuating mechanism does not lead to an unintentional unlocking of the bolt, but rather the bolt is held in the locking position.
[0019] Preferably, the actuating device, preferably the actuating mechanism, can be locked in a pull position to hold the bolt in the unlocked position. In other words, the user of the sliding door system can lock the locking device in the unlocked position of the bolt via the actuating device, so that the door leaf can be freely moved into and out of the closed position. After the actuating device is released, the bolt is moved back into the locked position, for example by means of the spring device, so that the door leaf is locked or, for example, the bolt snaps into the bolt receptacle when the door leaf is closed.
[0020] Preferably, the locking device is arranged in a lower end region of the frame element. The lower end region can, for example, comprise a section extending from the lower end of the frame element up to 10% of the length of the frame element. By arranging the locking device in a lower end region of the frame element, the locking device can be easily installed. In a design of the sliding door system with a guide rail as the floor rail, the locking device can furthermore interact, for example, with a locking receptacle arranged on the guide device guided on the guide rail.
[0021] Preferably, the frame element is constructed in two parts and comprises a frame profile and a lock profile accommodating the locking device, with the lock profile being connected to the frame profile. This allows the frame element of the sliding door system according to the invention to be adapted particularly easily to the conditions at the installation location of the sliding door system, since the frame profile can be designed as a freely cuttable profile and—after adapting the frame profile to the installation location—the lock profile can be connected to the frame profile.
[0022] Preferably, the lock profile is arranged between the frame profile and the guide rail. The frame profile can thus be connected to the guide rail by means of the lock profile. The bolt receptacle can be designed, for example, as an eyelet.
[0023] It is preferably provided that the guide rail is a floor rail and the guide device has at least one carriage arranged on the lower side of the door leaf, which is guided on the floor rail.
[0024] In this case, the bolt receptacle can be arranged on the carriage. Preferably, the bolt receptacle is arranged on the front face of the carriage facing forward in the direction of travel. The arrangement of the bolt receptacle on the carriage is particularly advantageous in a sliding door system with a glass door leaf, since the bolt receptacle can thus be advantageously arranged on the door leaf.
[0025] Designing a sliding door system with a track as a floor rail advantageously enables the sliding door system to be designed for patio glazing, as the weight of the door leaf or multiple door leaves is supported by the floor rail. Therefore, only a simple guide profile is required to guide the upper end of the door leaf(s). To support the guide profile, only its own weight needs to be borne, so it can be easily attached to a ceiling, for example. If the guide profile is supported on the floor, only supports are required at each end of the guide profile. With such designs, large opening widths of the sliding door system are possible.
[0026] Preferably, the frame element and the guide rail have matching guide elements, via which the frame element can be arranged in a defined position relative to the guide rail. This ensures that the latch is at a predefined height and can interact with the latch receptacle on the door leaf. Furthermore, the defined positioning of the frame element relative to the guide rail ensures that the frame element is aligned with the door leaf, so that the door leaf can be pushed through the opening partially into the cavity formed by the frame element. It is preferably provided that the guide elements are formed by a profile rail of the running rail, which interacts with the guide device of the door leaf, and a recess in the frame element. In other words: the frame element is placed by means of a recess on the profile rail of the running rail, on which the door leaf is also guided by means of the guide device. This ensures that the frame element is aligned with the door leaf. If the running rail is designed as a floor rail, the profile rail forms a running surface for a carriage of the guide device. The recess is preferably arranged in the lock profile.
[0027] In a preferred embodiment of the sliding door system, the track rail is designed as a floor rail with a profile rail on which a carriage of the guide device is guided, wherein the bolt receiver is arranged on the carriage on the front face facing forward in the direction of travel. Furthermore, in this preferred embodiment, the lock profile is mounted on the profile rail with a recess. This ensures that the bolt device and bolt receiver are guided very precisely, since the bolt receiver and the bolt device are arranged in close proximity to the profile rail forming a guide element. This prevents inaccurate installation situations due to minor deformations of the frame element.
[0028] Preferably, the frame element has a groove extending in the longitudinal direction of the frame element. The groove can, for example, be a T-slot.
[0029] The groove offers the possibility of attaching the frame element to its surroundings or of attaching attachments for the frame element to the frame element.
[0030] Preferably, the actuating device comprises a guide device for the traction means, wherein the guide device is secured in the groove. This can be achieved, for example, via a sliding block. The guide device can be, for example, a deflection device.
[0031] Preferably, the groove is arranged in the frame profile, with the lock profile being attachable to the frame profile via the groove. This can be achieved, for example, using a slotted nut. This allows for a particularly advantageous attachment of the lock profile to the frame profile.
[0032] The sliding door system according to the invention preferably has at least one additional door leaf, wherein the additional door leaf can be driven via the door leaf to execute a movement in the same direction. The sliding door system can thus be designed as a so-called telescopic sliding door system. In a configuration of the sliding door system with multiple door leaves, it can also be provided that, in the closed position of the sliding door system, the two outer door leaves each interact with a frame profile according to the invention and can each be locked via a corresponding locking device. Both frame elements and locking devices can have the aforementioned features.
[0033] Preferably, the sliding door system comprises a damper device with a retraction function, wherein the damper device initially brakes the door leaf during closing and then drives it towards the closed position, and with a limiting device that limits the travel path of the door leaf, wherein the damper device drives the door leaf against the limiting device to reach the closed position. The invention thus provides that the door leaf is dampened during a movement towards the closed position, so that excessive impact of the door leaf is avoided. This is particularly advantageous when the door leaf is designed as a glass door leaf, as damage is avoided. When the sliding door system is designed with multiple door leaves, a damper device can be provided for each door leaf.
[0034] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the damper device holds the door leaf in contact with the limiting device to maintain the end position during a locking process. This ensures that the locking process can be carried out reliably. It can also be provided that the damper device is designed as a spring damper system, wherein the spring force of the spring damper system present at the time the bolt receptacle abuts the bolt arranged in its locking position is greater than the force required to move the bolt against the preload force of the bolt's spring device. Naturally, the spring force at this time is also sufficiently large to move the damper further. This allows the spring damper system to move the door leaf toward its closed position. When the bolt is in a locked position, it is displaced against the preload of the bolt's spring, allowing the bolt to snap into the bolt receptacle. The spring damper system is thus designed to move the door leaf toward the closed position, while providing sufficient force for the locking mechanism to snap into place.
[0035] Preferably, the door leaf or leaves are designed as glass door leaves.
[0036] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the following figures. Fig. 1 a schematic side view of a sliding door system according to the invention with several door leaves, Fig. 2 a schematic detailed view of the lock device and the bolt receptacle arranged on a door leaf, Fig. 3 a schematic detailed representation of the bolt of the locking device, Fig. 4 a schematic sectional view of the sliding door system according to the invention and Fig. 5 a schematic representation of a deflection device for the cable pull of the actuating device.
[0037] In Fig. 1, the sliding door system 1 according to the invention is shown schematically in a side view. Fig. The sliding door system shown in Figure 1 consists of several door leaves 3, 3a, 3b. The door leaves 3, 3a, 3b are guided along a guide rail 5 arranged at the floor via a guide device 7. The upper end of the door leaves 3, 3a, 3b is guided via a guide rail 9.
[0038] The guide rail 9 and the running rail 5 are connected via a frame element 11 and another frame element 13.
[0039] The Fig. 1 The outer door leaf 3a, shown on the far left in the closed position of the door leaf, is partially inserted into a cavity 11a which is partially surrounded by the frame element 11.
[0040] In Fig. Figure 2 shows a detailed diagram of the guide device for the door leaf 3a and the frame element 11. The guide rail 5 has a plurality of profile rails 15. The door leaf 3a is guided on one of the profile rails 15 by means of the guide device 7. For this purpose, the guide device consists of a carriage 17 and a guide profile 19 connected to the carriage 17. The profile rail 15 guides the guide device 7 and thus the door leaf 3a in a travel direction. On the end face 17a of the carriage facing the frame element 11 in the travel direction, a locking receptacle 21 is arranged, which projects towards the frame element. The locking receptacle 21 is designed as an eyelet.
[0041] The frame element 11 consists of a frame profile 23 and a lock profile 25. As best seen from Fig. As can be seen in Figure 3, a locking device 27 with a locking device 29 is arranged in the lock profile 25. The locking device 29 has a bolt 31, which engages in the bolt receptacle 21 when the door leaf 3a is in the closed position.
[0042] The latch 31 is movable in a vertical direction from a locking position to an unlocking position. The latch receptacle has a latch receptacle opening 21a that opens upwards, allowing the latch 31 to engage the latch receptacle 21 from above.
[0043] The locking device 29 further comprises a spring device 33 which biases the bolt 31 towards the locking position.
[0044] At its lower end, the bolt 31 has an inclined insertion surface 31a, which faces toward the door leaf 3a. When the door leaf 3a moves into its closed position, the bolt receptacle 21 presses against the inclined insertion surface 31a and the bolt 31 is pushed toward the unlocking position before subsequently snapping into the bolt receptacle 21. As can be seen from Fig. 2, the lock profile 25 and the guide rail 5 have matching guide elements formed by a recess 35 in the lock profile 25 and the profile rail 15 interacting with the guide device 7. The lock profile 25 and thus the frame element 11 are placed on the profile rail 15 by means of the recess 35. This ensures that the lock profile 25 and thus the lock device 27 are arranged in a correct position so that the bolt 31 is positioned at the correct height to interact with the bolt receptacle 21, and the lock profile 25 and thus the frame element 11 are arranged in a position aligned with the door leaf 3a. This ensures, on the one hand, that the lock device functions reliably and, on the other hand, that the door leaf 3a can be inserted into the cavity 11a.
[0045] The locking device 27 has an actuating device 37, which consists of a cable 39 and an actuating device 41 arranged at the end of the cable 39. The cable 39, which is best made of Fig. 4, is connected to the upper end of the latch 31. The cable 39 is guided in the frame element 11 and penetrates the frame element 11 toward an actuating side 100. A tensile force can be exerted on the cable 39 and thus the latch 31 via the actuating device 41, so that the latch can be pulled from its locking position to its unlocking position.
[0046] The actuating device 41 further comprises a locking device 43, by means of which the actuating device can be locked in a pulling position to hold the bolt 31 in the unlocking position. Fig. In the embodiment shown in Figure 4, the actuating device 41, which may be configured as a knob, is pulled and rotated to lock. A projection 43a of the locking device 43, which is guided in a recess 43b in the home position, is pulled out of the recess 43b and locked by rotating the actuating device 41.
[0047] In Fig. 5 shows a guide device of the actuating device 37 designed as a deflection device 45, which deflects the cable 39 and guides it in the direction of the actuating device 41. As can be seen from Fig. As can be seen from Figure 5, the frame profile 23 of the frame element 11 has a groove 47 extending in the longitudinal direction of the frame element 11, which is designed as a T-slot. The deflection device 45 can be fastened into the groove 47 by means of a sliding block 49. Furthermore, the lock profile 25 is also connected to the frame profile 23 via a sliding block and can be fastened thereto.
[0048] The door leaf 3a can be initially decelerated during closing by means of a damper device (not shown) with a retraction function and then driven toward the closed position. A limiting device 51 is provided that limits the travel path of the door leaf, with the damper device driving the door leaf against the limiting device 51 to reach the closed position. The damper device is designed as a spring-damper system, with the damper device holding the door leaf in contact with the limiting device 51 after reaching the closed position, so that a locking process can advantageously take place.
[0049] The spring of the damping system is designed such that it has sufficient force to move the damper of the spring damper system, to move the door leaf 3a towards the closed position and to allow the bolt 31 to snap into the bolt receptacle 21 against the pretensioning force of the spring device 33.
[0050] In the illustrated embodiments, only the locking device 27 is shown in the frame element 11 to interact with the door leaf 3a. In principle, it is also possible for the second outer door leaf 3b, which in Fig. 1 is shown on the far right, can also be locked via a locking device arranged in the further frame element 13, which has the same structure as the locking device 27. In this embodiment, the door leaf 3b also has a corresponding bolt receptacle on the side facing the further frame element 13.
